Best movers ever! Andrew was my lead mover but all the guys worked so hard. It was hot and they were still hard working and determined to get the move done as quickly and safely as possible. They also had big hearts. I got to know them in the short time they were with us. I feel like we parted as friends. We used this company to move our business. They showed up late with one truck, when there was supposed to be two. We gave them very specific directions on how things were to be moved and none of the directions were followed. Most of the crew left after a half day. The move was supposed to take one day, but took two, and would have taken longer if I hadn’t personally helped them. This was a very bad experience.

I Would give this place no stars if it were possible, the worst service i've ever experienced in my life. Had movers planned a month and confirmed a month in advance, the day before it was confirmed as well, once it got to the actual day an hour late, i ended up calling and got no answers from 3 different people, 1 of which was supposedly the owner, rushed me off the phone because he was being pulled over by police, and then i was given a number to someone else who rushed me off the phone, only to have the actual moving guy call me and tell me some lie that he couldn't find the right location, then the supervisor calls me back and says the mover seriously turned around and left because his wife was having a baby, and they had no one else. We ended up having to move all of our own stuff, and ended up having to lift over a 200 pound old piano, worst service on the planet! but thanks for saving me money!.

This company was great! They showed up on time and kept me up to date on their ETA's. They were very professional and polite. They wrapped everything and fit way more than expected in their truck. Okay, so this is a story. I booked for the 4th of July a month in advanced, but they called the day before and asked me to rescheduled it last minute. I admit, I was irritated because I had that day off and wanted to get it done that day, but I understood they wanted the day off with their family. So, they came today, the 5th, also a bit late. HOWEVER, they were the best movers ever. So polite and fast. Those boys can move! I had everything boxed up so they could be fast. I still can't believe how fast they were. So, despite the set backs they deserve 6 out of 5 stars! I did not go into this liking them and came out a fan! I would highly recommend and would use them again!

Do NOT use this company! Damaged my furniture, did not properly wrap or secure items. When I submitted a claim on their website and followed up with the owner, I did not receive any sort of resolution. While it may seem cheaper, it is NOT worth it if you have nice things that you do not want damaged in transit.

Moving Proz changed my life. I’ve utilized them personally as well as professionally. They have the best prices I’ve seen in NE Kansas. They have bent over backwards helping my clients with their moves from point A-to-B. Before i got into Real Estate i had no idea how important utilizing a moving company was. All i did for my personal move was box up my things. They did the rest. They even broke down my bed and then reset it up at my new house. Although they can be full service and box up a property from the get go- they can also just move things from one place to another or move across the USA. There’s so much going on during the moving process that having a company do all the heavy moving is worth the money ten fold, every penny. I will never not use Moving Proz. They are professional, affordable, accountable and reliable. I could go on and on.

Very very bad service. I believed their 2 hours deal. They told me 2 people 2 hour for 2 bed rooms for 285 $. End of the moving they charged me 3 people and 3 hours. Total-421$, And moving was really really bad. ( break, scratch damage etc)

I had a great experience with MovingProz. The coordinator for my move was in touch regularly and willing to answer all of my questions. The movers contacted me the day of the move to let me know when they would arrive, when they were stopping for lunch during the drive (I was moving out of state), and they worked quickly. I was nervous that they may drive slow or take longer moving, since the fees depend on time spent. However, I was regularly the one running late because they were so quick with everything. Without a doubt, they exceeded my expectations.

I wish I had an option for zero stars. Overall, poor service, untrained movers, bad estimates of move price and timing, crew shows up late, they destroy your property and your home, and they follow through with unethical business policy/practice from their rude, and abrasive owner. This company gets a grade of - HORRIBLE! Don't be fooled when Derek Shaw (owner) tells you he puts the customer/client first. I am left feeling like his absolute last priority. His crew of "movers" turned out to be literally anyone who he could get to help him that weekend. I don't think any one of them was employed as a "mover". The team absolutely trashed both by my old residence and my new residence (over $4,000 worth of damage done) and they broke or damaged about 10% of our family's furniture/belongings. You never expect perfection with a move, but this company has a focus to highlight how truly bad a move can be. Further, even having acknowledged they have damaged your belongings and trashed your homes, they demand payment! Derek will tell you that in order to be compensated for damage you must submit a claim within 10 days. Having now been through the claims process, I now know that it's a complete farce. Derek takes about 3 weeks to craft an email response denying your claim quoting his "movers rights and responsibilities" clause of the online click-through agreement that you must acknowledge in order to sign his estimate and get on the schedule. I will never do business with this company again, and I don't imagine it'll be around very long given the way it's being run.

EDIT: In response to the owner's response below. The owner may not know the truth: 1) One of the 3 movers spent most time on watching, walking around and talking. Having 3 movers was a joke. 2) This is all we had to move: a piano, one dining set, one book shelf, one desk, one wood bench, one metal storage shelf, 2 tables, 3 mattresses, 3 sofas, 4 night tables, 4 chairs, 5 suitcases and about 30 boxes. The 3 movers spent 4 hours, and we were charged $800! 3) We had trusted the company's name and reputation, but apparently not all their movers are good. 4) How would anyone be able to tell that the piano was moved before we took our picture of it? Does this company honestly think we'd be able to move such a heavy object on our own? 5) After the movers were done, we didn't have time to carefully check each moved item. We tried to be polite, so we tipped them as we normally would, but we also wanted them to leave ASAP. We didn't want to continue to pay for their slowness. 6) We don't expect any refund. At this point, we just hope that the company hires professionals and gets their movers trained. ORIGINAL: Moving Proz is worst moving company I have ever hired! How do they even survive as a business? Their movers were untrained and unprofessional. I moved to a new house on May 14, 2019 with Moving Proz. I thought that three movers would work faster than two people, but the result was far slower than imagined. One of them just lazed around the entire time. The furniture was not wrapped, yet they still moved it directly outside, and the furniture was then haphazardly placed in the van, creating numerous scratches and bumps. The most unacceptable part? We paid an extra $125 for them to carefully move the piano, but they did not even wrap it properly, creating damage in our $6,000 piano that had previously suffered no damage even when we moved it from Canada.

DO NOT USE Moving Proz! Very unprofessional. My furniture was damaged, there are pieces missing, they caused a pipe leak when disconnecting the washing machine and refused to fix it. My washing machine now leaks. They didn't move all of my items, I had to go back and finish the move myself. DO NOT USE THEM!

This company is one of a kind.. I have used movers many many times and I have yet to find quality like this. There is no surprise other than how trained and professional they are. I had a client with extremely large expensive furniture and I referred her to them. She called me the next day and told me that there was not a scratch and she did not know they did it. The had to come down a spiral staircase with a massive pieces must have been 500lbs. There customer service is great because you can always speak with the same person and they know exactly whats going on. They are nice and very very accommodating... we would never go with anyone else..Thank You Moving Proz!!!

I wish I did not have to give them one star! They moved my husband and I on 7/30/2017 from downtown K.C. to Overland Park Kansas. They took my dining room table apart and I told them to be careful with it,but unfortunately they broke a piece off. They did not do it on purpose,but it happened. I have been calling and talking to the owner for nearly 8 weeks. He has not answered in four weeks. I filed a claim on the website like they asked me to,he told me he would get back to me! I asked for the name of the insurance they use and he will not say. I would reason to believe they have none. Now I will be forced to take them to small claims court,like another customer had to do. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!

They didn't separate the storage stuff from the house stuff so half or more of the items that were going to storage we ended up moving ourselves. I used Moving Proz Sept 1st of 2016. I asked for 3 movers and they showed up late with 2 people. I had to do half the work so we could get done without me being charged more. During the move 2 guys dropped a $1,500 dresser, put a hole in the bottom, and scratched multiple drawers. They apologized and said they would first try and fix it and of it couldn't be fixed they would replace it. At the time I figured ok no big deal. Since then I have emailed, called and text without any resolution. Now they just avoid my calls all together. I strongly suggest not using this company that has no idea what customer service is.

The packers were fast, thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. They made a couple mistakes, but nornoth big. (Some books and pictures we wanted packed were not, candlesticks I did not want packed, were packed, but I may not have been clear about the books.) They made sure to set aside a couple boxes of books destined for the local library, so that we know which ones they are, and aren't mixed up with all the other boxes! Overall, I am very pleased at my experience wurh Move Prize.

DJ and his crew we're terrific. They came in and got to work right away, not only did they do so they continually asked questions to ensure everything was moved promptly and going into the proper room. DJ and his team are the only positive light coming from moveproz, we we're scheduled for a 7am move on Saturday then they called and said it would be afternoon Saturday only to change their minds completely and make the move Sunday. Come to find out DJ and his crew only had one job on Saturday and easily could have been there. The ownership is extremely sloppy and needs to figure out how to structure a calendar. Giving 4 stars solely on the team I met in person and DJ and his team. It was fun watching the guys after they finished the move shooting some hoops in the back....unfor unfortunately for Cecil he got his butt whooped by DJ 9-3.

The price was reasonable and none of our items were damaged, which was great! We did have a problem with the customer service from our movers. One of the guys who moved our apartment was really rude to us from the start. The other guy was nice, but he really dragged his feet getting things in and out of the truck. We could also overhear them bickering and arguing with each other because the rude one kept putting down the other guy the whole time. Then at the end when we were going to pay, he asked us what we were quoted and we told him, and he became very snarky and rude about how there was no way the move would have gotten done in that amount of time and that we would have to pay more. We understand that sometimes moves take longer than originally anticipated, but we were very put off by the way we were spoken to and treated by that mover. Then, a few days later, we noticed that the bed frame he put together was not actually put together, and my roommate had to go and fix what he did not put together all the way. This experience really deterred us from wanting to use this company again.

Fast and efficient. We hired a 3 man crew to move our house. Owner quoted us at a 5 hour job, the guys ended up finishing in less than 3 hours. We have an antique piano and they took amazing care of it. Guys were friendly, courteous and worked hard. Would definitely recommend using Moving Proz.

Use caution if you hire Moving Proz! They stole almost $10,000 worth of jewelry from us during the move! We initially found Moving Proz on Angie's List. They had good ratings and one of the cheapest deals. I called and spoke with their scheduler, who's was very professional, and found that they were available for our 2 part move so I booked them. The morning of the move I received a call that the movers were on the way, even though it was after the promised start time. I disregarded the tardiness because I had all day. Three gentlemen, Zack, Brandon, and Mike showed up at the house to load our PODS for a 2 part move. Zach, Brandon, and Mike worked in a timely manner and completed the move as requested. However, shortly after the move was completed we discovered that the movers had stolen close to $10,000 worth of jewelry from us, including invaluable family heirlooms that cannot be replaced. The jewelry was stored inside of a box which was secured in a room that we had instructed them was off limits. While we were distracted with directing the move, one of the gentlemen went to our private area and pilfered heirloom jewelry from us. The movers violated the trust, that we as consumers give them, to protect our belongings and to treat our home with integrity. When we contacted the moving company, the owner offered nothing more than an apology and a promise to keep in contact with us through the investigation, which he did not follow through with. So be ware, by hiring Moving Proz you may be allowing thieves into your home. If you still accept the risk of being a target for theft and you chose to use them, be especially careful if Zack, Brandon, or Mike show up!

The movers showed up 2 hours late causing me to miss my scheduled time to use the freight elevator. My roommate and I had to move most my larger items to the loading dock ourselves since there were people scheduled to use the elevator after me. I unfortunately did not have time to get everything out of my apartment only the furniture so I ended up having to move a bunch of things myself since we ran out of time with the elevator/loading dock.

My experience with Moving Proz was really good and I would give them 4.5 stars if it was possible. I can't say enough great things about the 4-man crew who did the work - Skyler, Yusef, Gilbert, & Daniel are my heroes! And many accolades to Kelli who arranged the move and finalized the payment details afterward. Her response time was fast, her phone manners are excellent, and her problem solving skills are spot on. My reason for deducting a half a point was due to a late start and the lack of communication from the guy I spoke with at the office - and my review wouldn't be completely honest if I didn't mention this. But the awesome moving crew and Kelli's great customer service after the fact are by far the most important part of the experience and I will absolutely hire them for the next move!

Awesome guys and awesome company! Moving Proz helped my roomate and me move from Lawrence to KC a couple of weeks back. Andrew, Ronny, and Cecil moved all our things and were real gentlemen! I was a little worried about having strangers move my things but the girl I spoke to on the phone assured me all the guys were very professional and was took time to explain to me all their pricing and system. She answered all my questions and even called me the day before to remind me of the time the guys were coming over. Super helpful during our packing frenzy! The guys actually arrived on time and started hustling right away. They were super careful with all our stuff and kept us updated on their progress. They even cleaned up after themselves when we they got to the new place. Overall, the guys I got were awesome and the entire experience was smooth. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

we recently used Moving Proz to move from Gardner to Raymore. They weren't the original movers we had scheduled, but they really helped us out in a pinch when other movers couldn't accommodate our situation. They went above and beyond the call of duty to get me an estimate 9pm the day before move day. That's spectacular customer service in my opinion. The 4 man crew were really nice, professional, and fast. Definitely recommend. Oh yea.....and total price came in $400 cheaper than originally scheduled movers.

One star is being too generous. This was the worst move I have ever had. I literally moved two buildings down in the same complex. By the end of the day I ended up carrying over half of the boxes myself. In addition the movers were very unprofessional; arguing loudly with each other both in front of me and out in the parking lot. This move shouldn't have even required 2 hours given the distance but it took nearly three and even after I spent another hour and a half moving the rest of my items myself. I hired this company to help me move but had I have known I'd be doing most of the hauling I would've just got a Uhaul.

D.J. and his team was outstanding and went above and beyond! We had many challenges and obstacles (antique hotel doors, hand made floor tile, 150 year old brick floors and driveway). We had unusual and heavy items that were all handled with care and ease. D.J.'s attitude was outstanding, professional and encouraging. He was very reassuring. DJ managed his crew efficiently. They put all of it in one 26' truck load! It was an amazing truck pack job! This saved us considerable time and money regarding the speed and care in which they worked. Hello all! First off, I want to say that the two-man crew they sent out were really good guys. They were polite and personable and used the time effectively to get my stuff moved in. They had to traverse 2 flights of stairs at the destination and they handled it well. There were no issues with marred furniture or lost items. The only negative thing that keeps this from being 5-stars is that while my appointment was from 8-10AM, they did not arrive at my apartment until 10:30AM. I had to call them to check on their status at 9AM and again at 10AM and then they called me at 10:15am to let me know they were 10 minutes away. I understand that issues arise during these things and I probably would not have mentioned it if they had proactively reached out to me but, in the end, I had to call them. Like I said earlier though, the team they sent were great, but they may have some room to grow on the communication side. I would definitely recommend their services though. Hope this was worthwhile!

I can't explain how bad this company is ran. Had hardwood floor guys scheduled for Monday morning, had piano and other items that needed moved for them. Made moving appt for Friday before, didn't make appt Fri, then guys sick Saturday, supposed to show up 11 on Sunday and showed up at 3 with 2 guys. Paid for 3 because lg heavy piano. Guys that showed up had no idea it was upstairs. They tried and failed. Damage to piano and rail. Supposed to be back first thing Monday morning at 7 with 4 guys. No call no show. I call and no answer and vm full. Then I get a call back they don't have enough guys today either. Hardwood guys coming in 10 minutes. Pretty much planned the whole weekend waiting for them and never got the piano moved and have damage. They did move my washer dryer out but both now have dents. I left out many little things but to be honest, I do not know how they are in business!!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. This company is horrible. They showed up an hour late. Then they took their time and not even work if we were not standing there watching them. They were suppose to bring from moving blankets with them, but they did not bring a single one. We had to go buy some and then keep telling them to wrap our furniture with the blankets. Our freezer now has scratches in it thanks to this company. The movers were young kids and it seemed like they were having a contest to see who could lift the most. One of them almost dropped a piece of our sectional off the ramp. Thankfully my brother-in-law caught it. We had them pack our pictures and our kitchen. We found several pictures just stuck in boxes with no paper. Several of the frames were broken. We found 4 martini glasses three feet down in a four foot box with no paper around them at all. The company also left and left random stuff that should have been packed all over our house. The movers also tracked grease on our carpet and then refused to do anything about it. Even though the owner stood there and told us they covered any damage to our house, to include the carpets. Also, the movers tried to charge us for their hour lunch. Do not use this company. They are very unethical.

Derek and his team were great! This is the second time that our company has used Moving Proz. They were very careful not only with our belongings but also made sure that they protected the walls and door frames. The team picked up items from two locations and delivered to another two locations. Derek was extra careful with the glass shelves for the hutch going into storage- thanks! And also helped avert a disaster by noticing that there was still BUTTER in the fridge door before it too went to non-climate controlled storage. Great job!

Jeremiah, Ronnie, and Cecil were our moving crew for the day. For reasons beyond their control, they showed up about 5 hours later than what Moving Proz had initially estimated. The appointment had been set for between 8-10AM, and the crew didnt show until 2:45PM. However, once they did arrive, the team was very polite, professional, and they worked hard to get the move done well before the estimate of 6 hours. In fact, they completed the move in only 3 hours, and saved me a significant amount on the final bill. While I would have appreciated more communication from Moving Proz proactively about the delay (I had to call them multiple times to find out why they were late, what time they would show, etc - instead of them calling me to let me know), I still am rating them at a 5 star, because of the wonderful job Jeremiah, Ronnie and Cecil all did for our family. If you get this crew, I can tell you, you are in good hands. I cant attest to anyone else there, but this crew is outstanding.

My family had Moving Proz move our 5 bedroom house from Overland Park Kansas to San Diego Ca. I could not of asked for a better moving experience. Everything was on time and in perfect condition! That is very rare with moving companies I thought maybe a few things might of gotten damaged during the journey but there professional packing skills proved me wrong!
