The loading crew was very polite and clean. They packed quickly but did not mark the boxes accurately and moved items from room to room. The delivery was not good. The crew was obviously not trained well. They ripped blankets off of items rather than unwrapping them. The offload was very rushed. Two days to load and one day to offload. Storage racks and carpets were last off vice first off so we had no racks to place cartons or items. We had to move furniture ourselves to get carpets down. Many boxes were used with old markings so the unloading crew put many boxes on the wrong levels and wrong rooms. I am still moving boxes up and down stairs to get them to the right place. Even boxes that were clearly marked and were still placed in the wrong rooms. I still can't find some items because they moved them to boxes for other rooms than the one they were in at the origin. I assembled much of the furniture because the offload crew had no tools. The driver was the only one with tools. A couple of the beds assembled by the mover were not tightened or not fastened at all. They added a long carry fee for a 75 foot driveway. My recommendation is to take the same time off-loading as loading, make sure the carpets are down and storage racks assembled before any items are removed from the truck. Make the mover work at your pace. Make them go slow and bring one box out at a time. Don't sign any delivery documents until the next day after you have a chance to verify everything is in the right place. The driver wants to leave as soon as possible and does not care about what he/she leaves behind. They are expensive. They charged $30 just to take the box off of the TV and left the TV on the floor wrapped in paper. Even though they did not do things correctly, they do not adjust the prices. You pay for everything even if they do it wrong or incorrectly. Don't use credit card as they charged the full amount up front plus 10% even though their document says due after delivery.

I have worked with this company in the past, for maybe 3 years, as well as other relocation services in the area. Fry Wagner moving and storage is by far the only company I would recommend touching my furniture, or entering my residence if I were ever so lucky. This company is definitely not going to be the least expensive, but I can ensure you that overall you get what you pay for. This company doesn't take shortcuts, they come dressed professionally, prepared, and their employees treat their customers with the care and respect that they, as clients, deserve and should expect nowadays. Give them a call, and ask for a quote. Ask specifically what they can do for you, that the others can't. Definitely worth looking into if you are relocating locally, or long distance.

Fry Wagner was great to work with throughout our move, from getting the quote, packing up and putting everything in storage for a year then delivering everything to our newly constructed house. During the year our house was under construction I had occasions to speak with different Fry Wagner people and all were friendly and professional. Dealing with FW was the easiest, most pleasant part of the whole move.

Some minor damage occurred to my walls and a door that I didn't notice until the next day. I notified them and they denied the claim immediately without even asking for photos, citing that I had signed a form on the day of delivery stating that there was no damage. Apparently a very small claim like this is serious enough to deny rather than, you know, accepting that my claim is in good faith and agreeing to right a wrong to ensure the customer is satisfied. If you use this company, be sure to keep the crew waiting for an hour on delivery day while you inspect every square inch of your home.

Worst moving experience of my life! So many items broken - then they promised to repair them. Someone showed up and took pictures and sent them in to Fry Wagner. That was the last I heard from him They did send me a small amount for compensation, but not near what it cost me to replace all the furniture that was damaged beyond repair.

We dealt with Fry-Wagner for over a year as we sold our home and they picked up our furniture and stored it for over a year while our new house was being built. They also picked up some furnishing at our temporary housing when our new home was ready and delivered it in addition to delivering the items they had in storage. Every single person we were exposed to in both the office and the field over that period of time did an outstanding job. They were all friendly and efficient and had great follow through. And we felt the charges for our moves and storage was reasonable. Our experience with Fry-Wagner far exceeded our expectations and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

There is nothing more frightening (well, not really the most) than staring at a move. In my case, two moves: first to an apartment for 5 months and then on to D.C. Thus we needed to move 90% of our furniture from our home to storage, the rest to an apartment. Five months from now another move: everything comes out of storage, the little bit of furniture we have in the apartment, and a ton of boxes of clothes go to D.C. Fry-Wagner people are THE best...from the coordinator to the packers to the movers...everyone was professional, in great moods and most importantly, reassuring! It took many fewer hours to get everything done than I had expected...and absolutely no damage to anything! So far it has been just about the perfect move...if you don't use these guys you are making a huge mistake! They do everything they say they'll do...and then some.

This is the first time I have used Fry-Wagner, and they were terrible to put it in simple terms. I had to move because of a new job opportunity and with that I had to go through fry-wagner and I was not able to see my things being loaded into the truck. So I gave specific instructions along with specific measurements of the various items that I had to have packed for the move to the movers. Out of all of the requests I made only 3 items were actually packaged properly. The rest they either didn't bother to pack or they just slapped a piece of cardboard on it with some tape barely covering one side of the goods. So after 2 long weeks of waiting to have my things delivered across the country which is strange since my car was delivered after 5 days, regardless i set up a time frame and requested to be given a 45 minute to an hour notice before the movers reach my new home for delivery(thats the length of my commute home from work) but when the day came I get a phone call an hour early from the scheduled delivery time that the movers are already at my home. I asked for them to wait to unload any items until I get there but when I finally reach my home the movers had already moved the things out of the truck for the whole community to see and had it sitting out on the pavement ignoring my request. Once I get there the movers start putting things in the apartment and that's where I see that the movers did not properly pack any of the items I asked from them to pack but also they had broken many of the "high value" items I have listed, totaling up to about 3000 dollars worth of items damaged. Also when getting my items delivered the movers though it would be hilarious to pretend to drop my tv, shows the real professionalism of the company right? Regardless, when I submit my claim for the items that are damaged I get a email offering me 300 or we have to investigate the claim which sounds reasonable so I have the inspection done. Where after inspection of my items they offer me 350 dollars for everything claimed and deny over half the items claimed. This is the worst experience I have ever had moving with any company period, not only do they destroy your things but then avoid speaking with you until you hunt down your claim representative by calling them at least 5 times and being ignored to going in from some random department and having them be forced to speak with you. I am not here to place a bad mark on someone for damaging one thing of mine, but when you damage my computer, subwoofer, boxspring, toolchest, and loose/steal my tools from the tool chest, musical instruments, and much more and then try to skip out paying for any of the items its fairly easy to say these guys are the worst experience I have ever had for movers. I would never recommend them to any of your family or friends.

Everyone at Fry Wagner did a great job for us! Our estimator was within a couple hundred dollars; our coordinator was in touch with us keeping us informed veggie the move and every day during our 3 day process; the packers were very efficient and friendly; the movers were very careful, helpful, and efficient - they loaded and unloaded in 100 degree heat! They carried every box to exactly where we wanted it and even helped with a few "extra jobs" during the day. There was even a "quality control coordinator" that stopped by the house a couple times to make sure everything was meeting our expectations - they definitely exceeded our expectations If we ever have to move again, they will definitely be our call!!

We used Fry Wagner for our recent move (11/26/18). They were great. Came to our house for a walk through and followed up with a good bid. Boxes were dropped off for us to pack up our stuff. We were called 2-3 times to check in and make sure all was going well and double checked timing. The move crew showed up on time. The weather was poor but it did not stop them! The move out of our house and into our new home went smooth as silk. The thing that made it all a snap was our moving crew. They were so helpful and kind. They made all the difference.
