I wanted to use pods because of the convience despite the negative reviews I decided to give it a chance. Sadly I'm disappointed. Driver wouldn't drop pod said he didnt have enough room. I was actually home when he pulled up. He pulled it almost all the way in drive then decided he didnt have enough room. I guess a tree branch on my property was in way? Not gonna hire a tree trimmer for a branch that high. Looks like I will be making other plans with another company. I do have to say wherever the call center is based out of they are very polite and professional that's the only positive.

I wouldn't have given them the dignity of a star, but I had to to post the review. This just happened to us 30 mns ago. We asked for our pod to be moved to the new house that we were moving to. We warned the driver ahead of time that there was a uhaul parked in the driveway that the owner would move in about 10 mns. When we got to the house we went inside to do a quick walk-through. When we came out, the driver had left with no warning. He literally just LEFT WITH OUR STUFF WITH NO WARNING. We tried to call him several times and he didn't pick up. So we called customer service because we were freaking out. We spoke to the worst supervisor ever who told us that she couldn't help us. She said that the drivers are trained to take the pods to a warehouse somewhere if they have to wait at a location for more than 10 mms. And the worst part of the conversation with her was that she said she had no idea when our pod would be brought back to the house. She said it would be "sometime today" with no timeframe and she said no one could help us. We would just have to wait to hopefully get a call sometime that day that the driver was bringing the pod back. I asked to speak with someone else and she refused to let me speak with anyone else. I should sue them for driving off with my stuff without my permission. I never agreed to nor was I ever told that they would just take my stuff and drop it off at a warehouse if they have to wait for more than 10 mms. You would think that they would at least warn people first. This is the worst customer service I have ever had with a moving company. I will never use pods again.

My fiance and I set up a POD to help store our items for about a month while we moved.As far as cost goes the monthly rent for a container is cheap (about $200/month) but the transfer fees are ridiculous. To move our pod across the state they said it would cost $1100 in addition to the pickup and dropoff fees. I figured that was fine because we didn't really have another option at the time for storage and liked that they do the pickup and dropoff. On the day that they were supposed to drop off our container it arrived at 8AM, the estimated drop-off time was late afternoon. They also called my fiance's phone which was not the primary contact. They did not knock on the door or call my phone once, just left. I called them at 10AM and explained the situation and said I didn't care what time they dropped it off that day but that we had to be out of our house by Monday and we needed the POD over the weekend. I called three different times and was told it would be dropped off that day but that they didn't know what time. At 5PM I finally called and said I needed to know what time our container would be dropped off. They told me they wouldn't be able to do it that weekend and still charged us the first payment of $450. I would never recommend using this company to anyone and would encourage other people to tell others to stay away, the stress and lack of customer service aren't worth it. It is a horribly run company with little to no management or morals.

Zero stars! A POD storage driver dropping off a unit in our neighborhood backed into our mailbox unit that we also share with our neighbors. Luckily there was somebody who witnessed the whole thing happen. However, the local POD storage manager, Steve, says his driver is adamant that he didn't run over the mailbox. We said the driver may not have been aware he did it, but we have a witness that saw it happen. He still refuses to pay for the mailbox. Now, we get to eat the $400 cost because Steve and his employees refuse to be honest and make things right. Not a great way to run a business. We are reporting them to the Attorney General and will tell everyone we know how dishonest this branch's manager and employees are.

If no star was an option it would have been chosen. The local Omaha company is a joke. I had three pods scheduled for delivery. First two pods were great, delivered on time and in good condition. The third pod was scheduled for delivery the day before the scheduled pickup. Well that is when everything went south. The pod that was delivered was apparently generation one with wooden flooring, wooden support beams and a large tub secured to the outside of the roof to keep it from leaking. On top of it, the tie offs provided were 1/4" eye hooks screwed into the wooden beams. After speaking to Pod's, I was finally contacted by the local office and was instructed that a new pod would be delivered the next morning. However, it's the next morning and now I'm being told there is no guarantee that I will receive a new pod. This is based upon the fact that if they deem the pod acceptable then nothing will be done. He just showed up and said there is nothing wrong with this pod and we have no other ones to give you. So here I am with the last day to be out of my house trying to fight with a company to receive a quality product and be able to get my stuff loaded, trying to coordinate a new pickup time and find the additional help to load the last bit of furniture. Mind you, all of this was all previously coordinated and would have been completed on time with no hassle if the company would have delivered a quality product in the first place. What is sad in this whole thing, is that I read the local reviews and said no way it can be this bad. Well it's true they are horrible. The best part about all of this, I have no choice but to keep this pod. GREAT JOB OMAHA PODS YOU"VE CREATED ANOTHER DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

For each of the three occasions I have used PODS, I was very satisfied with the timeliness of service, the quality/ cleanliness of the product, the professionalism of their drivers and very significantly the local manager's personal concern for my satisfaction. When the need arises, I will definitely use PODS for my fourth time. There are more than a few of other business I HAVE DEALT WITH whose management can TAKE A LESSON FROM PODS with respect to learning that CUSTOMERS DO WANT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE with their total product purchase. da OLD, Old b.b.h. from Omaha

I ordered a PODS and was going to store it at their facility. I ended up not using and only had it for 9 days. I paid the delivery fee and the 1st month upfront ( which was fine). I called them to pick it up and was told that I not only lost the month rent that I paid for but I still have to pay for them to pick it. The Customer Service Agent "Sam", said that they don't prorate and he would not transfer me to anyone else to assist in resolving this issue. I would not recommend them do to their poor customer service.

Worst moving company I've ever encountered before. I came home this morning from the store and a Pod truck had the driveway completely blocked. I asked the driver to move his truck and he just stood there acting stupid. So I backed up and came in through the back way.I took a picture

Difficult PODS. Ranch to deal with. The driver had to come back 2 times to deliver to our old house and PODS was pretty not nice about the fact that their driver delivered to the wrong house the first time. Then turned the POD the wrong way the second time , put the POD half on the curb and half in the street. PODS was patronizing to my wife when she called about fixing this. Then on the day of moving the pod the driver talded to my wife as he was picking up the pod at the old house. My wife said she was moving the last neighbor on the street and would be good since it would take him 15 to 20 minutes in traffic to get to the new house. The POD driver instead decided to not do the delivery stating he couldn’t risk the extra 10 minutes. We were put on hold all morning only for PODS to reschedule. Now we have to go pull new permits with Baltimore all over again. It’s Been a struggle with them throughout the whole process.

Horrible customer service. Had items placed in POD was informed that it takes 1 week transit time called 2 weeks before pod was need can’t be delivered til 3 weeks then say since we can’t deliver til the 14th of August you have to also pay 250 for storage (August) plus the 1400 transit fee. Every rep have something different to say supposedly there is no script (rep told me) so it is what it is

the inital drop off and pick up went fine. when it came time to deliver the filled container to my address, they could not deliver on a weekend, could not deliver it to the street behind my house. told me my only potion was to come remove the items myself and drive them to my place, not a short trip at all. really disapointed in the follow through on these things. never usign them again, and telling all my friends to never use Pods.

We had our unit delivered to us in. February 11th and to be taken to our new location on the 5th of March and when I called on the 5th they said they have no record of the need for relocation and the soonest they had was the 12th of March. Do the math!- that puts us at another month so they get to bill us the next month also. I just looked and the 22nd of April they charged my card 86.00. Frauds and scammers. DON'T USE PODS. I was told by a supervisor on the 5th of March they wouldn't charge us and yet they did. I'm taking this to the news Station.

This experience started off as a great experience and went downhill quickly. We had scheduled two pods to be delivered to our house. We had them scheduled for different dates so we could pack one then have it removed and then pack the other. We closed on our house in Omaha April 2nd and were relocating to a different state so Pods was the best option or so we thought. The first POD was delivered and was great! We had scheduled to have both picked up April 2nd. When they dropped the first pod they mentioned they would have issues droppingthem both at the same time because our neighbors tree hung over the driveway. We explained that was fine we would have them pick the first one up and then drop the second one. Well the day came for the 2nd to be dropped and they couldn't. They said they could not drop it because of the tree which we explained yes we know you were supposed to come pick up the first one and we called (which you can not talk to anyone in the actual state you are renting the pod from it is a call center). So long story short they said they couldn't pick up the first POD now until April 2nd and that the second POD couldn't be delivered until the 2nd. So 2 days before we were to move across multiple states with two small children we had half of our house unable to be packed. My wife and I both called and spoke with several people at the call center which none were helpful and basically said sorry you are just going to have to figure it out. Also from the owner please do not comment like you have on every other post that you want me to send you our number you have it as you can see the transaction since you have been paid.

I'm not a pod user but my neighbor did and when they dropped off the pods they dropped a few of my tree branches. I'm not a happy home owner and theres no local number for me to call. A little common curtacy to leave a note I would be fine. But this is B.S

Company is completely worthless. Fees are never as advertised complete rip off. Customer service is useless. Partnership with storage facilities are not screened . I would not recommend this company to move even my little red wagon. The down side is the drivers they use in my state are very helpful and professional. I would advise this company to build better partnerships ,work on their communications with in their own management team as well. At this rate the company is sure to fail with in a few years. I believe the founder/CEO has a great idea but lacks proper planning training for management. Bad storage partnerships will help take this company down the wrong track. With that said this could all be corrected with proper leadership. Working corporate for years I have Taken part in correcting some of the same issues this company is facing. They can pull themselves out of this if the care enough about the company. For the founders/CEO please revisit the why question as you did in the beginning this could lead to a new beginning and a better service for all.

Terrible customer service!!! There is no way of contacting the local storage center- all calls go through corporate out of Florida. I've been told different things everytime we have called in. We went 3 days over the 30 day mark and were told (before we signed up) that there was a grace period the local office would honor. Nope, not true. We are paying for an entire 2nd month. Being lied to to gain business is a terrible way to run a business. Rent a uhaul and storage unit!!! Stay away from this location in LaVista!!

Order a POD told me it would be a $70 deposit. Put a pending charge of $258.00 on my CC. I cancelled it 2 days B4 did not sigh the contract, and CANCELLED my order...........GUESS WHAT? They still CHARGED MY CARD, and tried to blame me! Contacting the BBB!

Have had nothing but problems with this company. Had scheduled for a delivery that was out of state, and after four days traveling told two HOURS before arriving at new house they tried to schedule it again for a week later. After getting it cleared up that it was delivered two days after agreed, pick up was then put back an additional week. We had two pods ordered, and the plan was to have one empty and the second arrive. Both pods arrived within one day of each other. The second pod had damage to door and we couldn't open it. Tried to schedule a service call and we have been told TWO weeks before anybody can help. Keep in mind, the pickup date is before the service date. This is all a way to extend the length of time it sits on our property and cost us money. The customer service, schedule, delivery and all round experience with this company has been awful. Do not use this company! Throw the stuff on your back and carry it before letting this company of fools.

I used PODS for a relocation. The service, delivery, pick-up was absolutely great. I had no problems what so ever. I needed a couple of days extra and PODS personnel understood. This was one of the best transactions that I have experienced in a while. Thanks PODS!

The container was dropped off to us on time so that we could load it. Once we loaded it, we did not get confirmation that it had been picked up. We had to have a friend drive to the home to see if it was picked up. We were given a 3-hour window for delivery to our new home. The driver was already over 1-hour late when I called the 800 number to get an update. I was told that they could only contact dispatch and had no update. Two hour later, I called back and was very rude to the rep that I spoke to. Because of my rudeness, the rep had the driver contact me to say that he would be on his way shortly. They have VERY POOR communication!! I will never use them again!!!

Worst experience of customer service after the sale that I have ever had. No problem reaching someone as a prospective client but once they had my cc# it was like pulling teeth. Tried changing delivery time on website Worst website for changes Tried calling, no local number, wait time up to 30 minutes! Reached them twice only to be hung up on after waiting 30 minutes. They could not place the pod where it needed to go. They proceeded to leave it at the end of our driveway. This limited the room people had to be able to come up the the house. I have had to make several trips to the post office to pick up packages they could not deliver because of where they left the pod; was partway in the road which is around a bend posing a collision hazard with vehicles taking this road. I called and was told they would send a more experienced driver to place it where it needed to go. When the driver arrived he informed us that he had less experience than the previous driver. The pod was not moved. After we unloaded the pod by bringing everything out of the pod to drive it up to our house the rest of the way we called to have it picked up. I explained several times that it was in a position which may cause a collision with somebody coming around the bend in the road. They scheduled a pick up for, four days later, on a Wednesday. They sent a confirmation email the pick up was to be between 12 and 3 PM. That never happened. I gave them till Thursday to pick it up and did not get picked up today is Friday the pod is still not picked up. I called this morning, actually we called twice today and they said now it cannot be picked up until the 13th. They do not have a number listed for the facility in our service area. Every time corporate tells me they call they get no answer and then they send an email. I believe I have called a total of four times in which that facility never answers their phone and has to be emailed. I find it utterly unacceptable that not only did they not come and pick it up sooner considering where they left the pod but also that they can’t keep the date in which they set. When they could not keep the appointment for Wednesday I did not receive a call. I have had to make every call to them. Never again will this service even be considered as being utilized by us again. Something that was supposed to be nice simple and easier for us to do which is why we used it has turned out to be a horrible experience which has caused us more stress and work. They didn’t seem to have any problem taking our money on the dates that they said yet they can’t for fill the service on the dates that they said.

This POD Company of Omaha has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My son has paid for his pod for 2 years where it has been in their storage. He asked them to deliver it to the house on the 18th, where he emptied the pod and on the 21st we called them to come take it and they told him he owes from Oct 20 - Nov 20 another 205.00. He said for one day? I talked to them as well and they are horrible, have snide comments and we didn't even have the chance to tell them that the mattress has water damage on it. They refuse to move the pod until he gives them 205.00 for one day. So here sits the POD on parking obstructing car views. I absolutely would NEVER EVER lease a POD from this people again!!

They delivered the Pod when promised and picked up when promised. It had rained at my house when the Pod was there and the next day everything was dry. It was convenient for me to have the Pod at my house because I could pack it anytime day or night and I did not have to worry about traveling back and forth to a storage bin and worrying about their hours.
