The absolute BEST! James, Tevon, and Rashaan worked incredibly hard, demonstrated a great level of respect for our property and home, and were endlessly professional. The cost was very reasonable given the amount of heavy items we were moving, but they moved them with such ease and care. Noway around it, the two men that moved my stuff today were five star wonderful. Professional, knowledgeable, curtious, listened to all my concerns and the property owners concerns we were removing my furniture and more from. They were conscious of the time we were using, I felt they were really there for me not just to make as much money as possible. I will add they were a joy to work with too, they helped me take a miserable experience of insurmountable odds and turn it into a smooth running kind of fun easy day... I have had Middle West Movers move my things before, and I was as pleased then as today. I have recommended you at least three times before and will do so whenever I have the opportunity. Worst experience ever! We received a call the day of our move that they were cancelling because their crew didn’t show up. They weren’t available for 2 days from our scheduled move. Their compensation for their mess up was not even close to the time and stress of changing days. It took an already stressful time and made it 10 times more stressful. We hired Middle West Movers because Megan was so helpful on the phone and was willing to work with our change of schedule so easily. She was never flustered with us for having to change apt complexes, date of move and time. I was out of town and could not help coordinate with my daughter. Megan assured me not to worry, it would go smoothly, and it did! The pricing was very fair and reasonable with 2 men and a large truck and my daughter said they worked very hard, handling heavy things carefully but quickly.

I happen to call MiddleWest Movers on a Saturday - by default, when I could not reach my first choice of movers. They tentatively scheduled me for a move with a 3 day notice. Megan was incredibly organized and a gifted communicator. She noted my circumstances and made the best accomodations she could with such short notice. Luckily, I was able to take an earlier time slot than originally planned and the move worked out beautifully. James and John were true professionals: they were efficient, careful, timely and smart. TL;DR?: if you are in a last minute bind, this is not the company you should attempt to make a moving schedule with as they do handle short notice appointments well. I now must spend the last day I have of my move finding a mover, while attempting to work as well. I had attempted to make an adimitidly short notice move request with this company. Granted it was short notice, but I asked if I could be moved day, or the next day (October 30th or October 31st). I was asked if I could be moved on the 31st. I said that it was fine, and asked if 3 pm was acceptable. Aftet talking we had set and appointment for 2:00 pm instead. I waa assured that this appoint was good, and this call took place at 10:30 AM. At 6:30 PM I recived a text asking if i could move my appointment to 11 AM. I had told the associate previously in the morning, and again in text that I would be working, and was already taking off work early to make the 2:00 pm appointment. At that point I was told that my appountment could not be fufilled. I called the company, and after attempting to convey frustration I did admitedly raise my voice, but I was continuely met with poor customer service from the start. I know that there was wrong on my end, but if you set an appointment with a customer, and they've based the last part of the entire last leg of their move around a set appointment, it os absolutely poor customer service to wait until late at night to cancel and tell some one to try and find another mover because someone else's move was more important than yours, or just having a poor scheduling structure in general.

Thieves I was desperate for help in a short notice. I was alone and in need of moving my entire house to an apartment. One guy they sent was around 18 and could not tape a box shut. The other looked and spoke as if he was in a gang. I was doing most the work for hours. When I went to meet them at my apartment it took them 2 more hours to get there. It's a 15 min drive. But I realized later is because they stole a number of things from the house. I had a wallet full of cash and the moment I turned my back it was gone!!! I realized the next day that quite a bit of things were missing. When I asked the guys about it, he told me he would bring them back to me. He said "Oh yea, we have some of your things"...WHAt?!?!?!He did not return everything or the money. As I unpacked I realized so many other things were missing. I've tried to call, text and email the owner as well of the guy who moved me. No one will call or answer. I have been devastated from this experience. For $134 an hour I expected so much more. Plus they charge for gas and for dive time so you're paying for it twice. Not to mention I have no idea where they were for those 2 hours. I guess they spent it going through my house picking the things they were going to rob me of. I had given one of them men a few things Bc he said his girlfriend and him were going through a hard time. He took that as an invite to take things that didn't belong to him. My house for forclosed and when we went to the house 2 days later we found that he had taken my living room set that I told them I wasn't taking to the new place, along with anything else I wasn't taking. We were not taking it with but we did plan on coming back to sell and or give away the rest. These people should be in jail!!!

Terrible. We purchased the extra insurance because we know that accidents happen. They did not attach our washing machine properly when moving and it fell down our front porch step and landed on the concrete on its side. Now 2 months after moving the owner has avoided all calls. They have not been helpful at all. They also put a hole in our wall going down our stairs when they dropped a couch. Absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE and if you do use them don't pay any extra for the insurance because they won't actually do what they tell you anyways

I checked around for movers and enjoyed the reviews I read on Middle West Movers. I called and spoke to Katie and she was professional and knowledgeable in asking questions about our move. She recommended one truck and three movers for our two household move in two weeks. On moving day I received a call from the movers that they were on the way. During my recent move, I hired Middle West Movers to collect some belongings from Council Bluffs, transport them to my new home in Omaha and move those items and some large furniture items from my garage into my 2-story house. Everyone I worked with, from the person in the office to the 2 men that moved my furniture were incredibly friendly. The movers were also very quick and efficient, yet still careful. I was very impressed and will absolutely be calling them again for future moving projects.

The people were fantastic. All of them were very nice. But we were told they would show up between 12-2 and they didn't arrive until four pm. They finished at seven, but put down 1 full hour of driving when they maybe travelled for fifteen minutes, so i was charged for four full hours. Again, the people I dealt with were very nice to work with. But I don't think I would end up using them again and would either do it ourselves or find another group.

They were prompt and friendly. Offered to reschedule due to rain. Because of the rain it took a little over the 2 hours. I really didn't have that much stuff, a queen bedroom set and couch and other small items. However it was worth the $$ as they really took the time to make sure everything was well covered and safe.

We hired Middle West Movers for a move from a 3rd floor apartment to a split entry house. Making the appointment was quick and easy - very helpful over the phone in getting things set up. The moving crew arrived on time and did an amazing job getting everything moved. They worked quickly and got everything loaded and unloaded without any damage to any of our furniture. What an amazing outfit! Couldn’t have asked for better. Checked out a bunch of places, all of them were so disappointing. Even Two Men and a Truck wanted to charge me for two seperate moves! We moved in the same complex on the 28th to a different building from a two bedroom apartment to 2 one bedroom apartments on the same floor just across the hall as my son was getting his own place. TWO SEPERATE MOVES? Not for me! Middle West Movers was happy for my buisness. They talked me through it all even though I’m 47 and done this many of time, I’m grateful for the attentiveness and concern that they showed us all from giving us packing tips to answering all of my questions. The staff in the office was VERY professional and even checked on me periodically during the move. The man they sent was also very professional and an experienced mover even in his 20’s and had an amazing work ethic and helped his team member stay focused and helped him learn how to lift and handle moves. Just all around PROFESSIONALISM! It made our move as easy as pecan pie LOL! Please check them out, they are SO worth every penny for the lack of hassle and worry free moving. They also offer packing services same day moves and are always available in a pinch when they are able! Thank you Middle West Movers! IF I need to move again, you will now be my FIRST call!

This business did great! Their "tetris" capabilities went above and beyond! Plus, they managed to squeeze my last-minute load-up in. I initially thought we weren't going to hire movers on the Omaha end of our out-of-state move, but less than a week before, we decided it was best. Called and spoke to Richard. He quoted up-front prices (which are pretty clear on the website, too) and gave me some recommendations of what to have available with our Uhaul that would make the load up easier and more secure. Reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff and workers equals a successful move!
