I want to commend the job done by the Hawkeye Movers team that moved us from Bettendorf, IA to Asheville, NC. This was our eight move so we are not new to this process. In fact this is our third move with Hawkeye Movers and this experience was every bit as professional as the previous moves. The big difference with this move is that it was a personal move and not a corporate move so we were much more involved on the front end of the process. From the first contact with Sean Lung, to Tina, Ashton and Paul showing up to pack, to Aaron, Zack, Tyler and Chris showing up to load, the experience in Bettendorf was excellent. The truck arrived in Asheville Monday morning as promised. The Asheville crew consisting of Jeremy and Will were at the house at 8:00 to prep for the arrival of the truck at 9:00. Aaron was right on time with the truck and everything was in place for the crew to immediately begin the unloading process. Our belongings arrived in great shape and the crew did an excellent job of placing furniture while protecting the new house. We were amazed to how quickly they unloaded the truck while still taking the time to make sure they were placing things where we wanted them. We could not be happier with the moving experience provided by Hawkeye Movers. Both the IA crew and the NC crew had great work ethic as well and good customer skills. This goes a long way in making a move go well and delivering not only furniture but satisfied customers.

They moved our stuff when we recently moved to Texas and we had a lot of items broken. When we received the boxes, many of them were in bad shape and some of them were missing pieces. A few of the boxes actually had the bottoms fall out. They packed our desk in one whole piece but when I received it, it was in pieces with all of the hardware wrapped up in tape and parts of the desk were actually pulled apart and broken. I also had numerous dishes completely shattered along with a crockpot I was given for Christmas.

Hawkeye movers is a family owned company that cares about its customers. The owner has been in the moving business for many years and after speaking to him I could tell he really knows his stuff! The staff was courteous every time I talked to them and our movers were very skilled and professional. Our goods were delivered undamaged and they even took the time to protect our carpets. I would definitely move with Hawkeye Movers again in the future!

Case in point, the facts remain. World Atlas moved us, Hawk Eye stored us for 10 days, over 300 items missing as stated in claim. At no given time did Hawk Eye come out to our home other than as stated in the contract to pick up debris, collapsed boxes and bagged paper. Pictures / video tell the story. Case remains very open. The truth will prevail.
