My momma always said, if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. Well, I guess that doesn't apply in reviews, especially this one.
Basic points to consider if you are wanting to use these guys:
1.) These guys are 2 to 3 times more expensive than other movers, so if you want a move that will cost you way more without any added benefits, like making your coffee every morning, then go with them. How do I know? I've seen there estimates for my move and coworkers moves and compared them to other vendors that my coworkers ultimately used (I wish I would have)
2.) Online vendors will likely give you a few months of extra storage after your massive move, but these guys will charge you out the nose if you let them, even after telling them you will need storage and try to get an agreed upon rate.
3.) Get everything in writing with these guys. I tried to email David (the son of the owner) to hash out details during my move so I could coordinate the move, but he kept calling and trying to verbally agree to things, and then would alter the paperwork after the fact and add hidden charges.
Aside from the cons above, these guys did move my stuff from the Deep South to Iowa...Technically it was United Van Lines that did the move, but thank god they did it through United Van Lines, because once I had to deal with Blue Line moving, it was all a nightmare.
To be honest, I have rarely worked with people I'd describe as shysters, but I've never felt more dirty and ripped off than working with this group. In the end, I should have shopped around and used an online company like my coworker did and saved several thousand dollars. Hopefully you do your homework and save yourself a few grand and a lot of headache by avoiding this moving company.
