Pete and his team were professional, personable, hard-working, and went non-stop for 6 solid hours. They got everything out of our old house carefully and efficiently. At the new place they took everything where we had labeled or asked and even moved a few extra items around that were to heavy for us to move. They took care to lay down runners on our carpet and flooring to protect from the snow that was coming down. Job was completed in the time we had budgeted and they were lower than 2 other bids I took for the job. Nice work!

I had the pleasure of hiring All MightyMovers this week for a move. They were able to schedule a move in a short time frame, cover all necessary and important information, and move all of my house in a matter of 3.5 hours. It is a comforting feeling when all three movers shook my hand to start the day and made sure the items and property were taken care of with extreme detail. Pete, Perry, and Dameco- you were three saints who made me and my family feel at ease. It is a compliment when my farming family stats " They are workers"! I called mighty movers to have them pick up a mattress set from a department store and deliver it to my parent's house. The woman on the phone told us they were booked up for about three days out. We ended up being able to find a small window of time that fit in their schedule. She told me the customer does have to pay for travel time. I understand travel time to be from where the truck was last located to the pick up location (department store) to my parent's house. She estimated one hour which made sense because it was literally one item. That would cost $125. They came and put the new mattress in. When they were finished they charged my parents $200 saying that they now have to pay for the time to get back to their office location. That was new information and seemed unfair. The scheduler should either charge a flat delivery rate for their office location or schedule the next job right after SO each customer isn't paying for a return location. This is misleading people and essentially unfairly charging them. Again, they should communicate travel time and give the exact amount from their office location to the pick up when they are providing estimate and scheduling. They should make it clear that the customer will be responsible for paying for their time even AFTER the job is complete and their drive back, (regardless of where they are going). This is where a flat delivery fee would be helpful or providing an exact amount when initially scheduling . Overall, they completed the job but I would not use this company again because it was significantly more than quoted and was misleading about exactly what travel time and the amount is. Ultimately, making us feel ripped off.

Thank God this company sent Gerald and DeSean, both of which are pure perfection at what they do. They are very strong and conscientious men! I needed furniture moved within my home as I’m unable to help my husband and our basement stairs are very tight due to a corner turn at the landing. I called All Mighty Movers and they sent their best to do the job. I needed a recliner sofa and love seat moved from the living room to the garage. I then needed a reclining sofa and love seat moved from the family room in the basement to the living room upstairs. This furniture is very heavy solid lazy boy furniture so this was no small task. Gerald and DeSean made very quick work of this job and used the utmost care while doing so. I would recommend these two fine gentlemen to anyone, anytime, and will definitely be asking for them again when I need something moved. They treated my home and my belongings as if it were theirs and I’m truly grateful. An added bonus is that they come in and start working, no trying to get extra time added to the bill. I use them for moving my 3 bed/2 bath house. They do charge travel time from their site, between locations and back to their office as part of their agreement. I taked to the owner a couple times - going over the list of items that I had to move. They did not offer or make any arrangements to come to my house to inventory what needed moving. I had asked him if they would and he said no. I went thru each room an detailed the furniture and approximate number of boxes, as we were still packing. He told me he estimated 4 hours for the move. In my head, I was thinking 4 hours to pack my house into the 26 ft truck. Upon the arrival of the guys on moving day, I started showing the lead guy each room and he says this is way more stuff than what we have registered. I was like no it's not - i went over each room and piece of furniture with the owner when I set this up- twice. Next they sent Dorian over - she says this is way more stuff. I told her this is exactly what I had arranged over the phone - if he didn't write it down or estimated wrong - that is not on me. I didn't have much furniture but had more boxes - which I had told him. We had gotten rid of most of the furniture to get new after our move. She insisted that they are accurate in their inventory and that I was not correct. In the conversation, I finally figured out what they had intended for their schedule in moving me - at it was absolutely ridiculous! They had intended to drive to my house in the urbandale from the east side, load my 3 bed/2 bath house, basement and garage in 1.5 hours and then drive to johnston to new house - unload in an hour and get back to their office - in this 4 hours allotted. If I would have understood what he was talking about on the phone when he said he estimated the move would take 4 hours - I would have said he was nuts right then! I had told him the guys that moved me in with more furniture than I had now - took 4 hours. That was 4 hours at the house - not driving and unloading at a new location. In discussions with the 2 guys that were doing the loading - they told me that this happened frequently. That the owner had them scheduled for another 3bd/2 bath move for that afternoon which they were planning that the homeowners would be mad when they don't have enoufh time. The guys said it's common that people are mad at the time estimates done by the owner. I also saw they had the moving guys sprinting while carrying items back/forth to the truck. While appreciate them not lounging around, the speed that Dorian was requiring of them was not something I would wish on anyone. End result - they packed 1/2 the 26 ft truck (which was not my complete household) and unloaded it at the new location. I had sold my house and had a timeline that needed to be met in getting out. I made alot of phone calls and got several friends come to my house that afternoon after I ran to rent a moving truck myself (16 ft truck, only truck available) before they rental places closed. We also found a couple moving guys that wanted to work on the side and they supervised the packing of the truck. We moved my house with 2 more loads that day. The stress they added to the move and the way I saw them treat their workers is horrible. When I bought a new house - I hired the 2 moving guys that came to the rescue that afternoon. They did a great job both times. I have recommended them to several people, who were impressed with the care and attention they gave in moving them also. I was trying to save money, as this was the cheapest rate that I had been quoted. It cost me more money and the added stress they caused was enormous! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

They got to work right away after asking a few questions about what needed to be moved. They worked quickly and were extra careful with all items as they moved in and out. This team was amazing! On the hottest day of the year they moved us from an apartment and storage unit to a 3000 square foot house. They moved our piano, treadmill and 2 big screen TVs without any damage. They were so polite, respectful of our things and just a joy to work with. We hired All Mighty Movers for our heavy items for our recent move and they did an excellent job. All movers were extremely courteous. The owner was on site and helped in the move and he was very professional. One of the movers happened to hit his head on one of our lights resulting in broken glass. This was my first time EVER using a moving company, so of course I was very nervous....However, the three men that assisted me in my move were VERY professional, enthusiastic, and fast! I was amazed that they moved me in a matter of three hours or so! I had Jose, and two other men which I do not remember their names (sorry) but they were all EXCITED to help me move and excited to be at work and came with a big smile. My move was on 10/4 and they completed it very quickly. Their attitude was contagious and I was actually excited to be moving once we got things started. I DREAD moving, but these three men made it easy, fast, and stress-free. I have never seen anyone move furniture like these men and they did not complain about having to move many items around because I am picky. They came, did their job, and actually killed it. This was a 3rd floor to 3rd floor move, and these men were actually running back and forth to the truck. I was very shocked at the level of athleticism and all done so quick! I am impressed and will use All MightyMovers the next time I move!

All Mighty Movers were awesome! I don't normally take the time to write reviews but felt compelled with these guys. They attracted me with their low prices so i booked them expecting average work. They were energized, fast workers, and super cautious with our furniture. I always heard great reviews about 2 men and a truck but all mighty movers sent 3 guys and quoted me about 40% less than 2 men and a truck, so i decided to "take my chances"... best decision ever! They are the cheapest on the market and can't ask for any better. Peter was our group's "foreman" (not sure of their lingo) and the nicest guy possible. Props to the company. They lure you in with attractive prices, and over deliver on their services. Des Moines metro needs to reward these guys for their outstanding efforts!

I pursued this company to move to a new house because of their great review rating. I can't even comment on their moving services, because I wasn't able to get that far. The process of trying to even get a price estimate from them was a total nightmare. - I first contacted them via the email address provided on their website. My email provided the date I wanted to move, some details about my house, and I asked them to let me know what other information they needed or if they wanted to come out. - They responded to my email with one line stating I needed to call. (If you don't want people contacting you via email, don't put your email address on your website.) - I called in asking how to get a price estimate, and they literally told me to EMAIL them an inventory. (You couldn't have responded to my email and told me that?) - I spent a lot of time making a very detailed inventory of the items in my house I wanted to move and emailed it back to them. They replied and told me to call and go over everything. - I called, and the lady told me she was busy and needed to call me back in 5 minutes. She never called. I sent her an email probably an hour or so later saying I was headed into a meeting so wouldn't be available to call again, but if she had questions I could answer via email I could respond. - Eventually we connected and she told me that she just needed to come out and take a look. (If you wanted to look, why didn't you just say that instead of having me spend hours making an inventory.) So, we scheduled and appointment for the following week. She assured me that they had me down for the date I wanted. - A couple days before our appointment, she left me a voicemail saying I needed to call to go over my inventory (again). It was a busy time at work, so again I shot her an email saying I was in meetings all afternoon, but I could answer questions by email. Or, we had an appointment in two days to go over everything anyway. - She sent me back a pretty snarky email saying I needed to call to go over my inventory, and at this point she was was taking me off the schedule for that date because she couldn't get the information she needed from me (Again, we had an appointment for a walk through in TWO DAYS). It was at that point I told them I'd be taking my business elsewhere.

I hired All Mighty Movers to move us from our apartment to our house across town. The moving team worked fast, but one of the movers was not very careful and proceeded to drop a well-packed box of glassware during the move, which broke a few glasses and coffee mugs. We also had new scrapes and scratches on our vinyl couch that were not there prior to the move. When I reached out to All Mighty to have this taken care of, they stated that they were not responsible for broken cups or dishes if we did not hire them to pack the glassware. In addition, they declined to repair the couch, and fabricated a story where my wife stated the damage had existed prior to the move. They then stated that because the couch was “so old,” they were not willing to repair the damage - which I find funny as they repaired damage they inflicted to the same couch the year prior. Accidents happen, but it’s how businesses resolve issues like this that matter. I’d recommend finding a different moving company, because All Mighty won’t stand by their work.

All Mighty Movers were a great help in my recent move. The crew was prompt, professional, courteous, and very efficient! They went over what I should expect at the beginning of the move and they were really conscientious about the items, including several antiques. They were great about putting the furniture/items in the locations that I needed them to go to, including lugging a heavy sofa down some narrow steps. The cost was extremely reasonable and there were no surprises, in fact they were so efficient that they took less time than I had figured and the cost was under the budgeted amount. Professional, fast and took great care of my belongings. Or so I thought. Was moving out of state. The crew took more space in the semi than we used moving an entire house 2 years prior. This move was way less. Then I get my belongings in Texas to find they not only failed to cover my couch with moving pads but they ripped the top and now my light gray couch is filthy and in bad shape. I provided moving pads and they were proud they had leftovers at the end. They packed boxes marked "heavy" or "books" on top of light boxes marked fragile and smashed many items. They stacked a wicker type chair on top of the legs of a dining chair. The legs popped thru and then rubbed messing up both chairs. Another frustration.... the dolly I owned is missing. They didn't even put it in the truck. It also wasn't in the old house as I had someone check. They must have decided they needed it more than me. Very frustrating!!! So yes they were courteous and prompt but they ruined several peices. They are not equipt to pack for long haul moves. In all my long haul moves I've lost 1-2 things to damage. This time I've got damage on every piece of furniture and I haven't started opening boxes but they are all smashed due to the heavy ones being on top so I'm not feeling very positive. If you're using them watch them carefully and micro manage. They shouldn't be left to pack the truck themselves. In town I'm sure they are fine. Across country, I'd go with someone else.
