I was told if I gave 48 hrs notice I could change my pickup of my pod. Now I'm being told they will not do so. And are wanting to charge me extra money I should not have to be out, if they picked it up on time. This shouldn't happen.

200 dollars a month for basically a storage unit!?! What a joke! They do not tell you, you must get a city parking permit to have it on your property. They say you can change delivery date 48 hours before delivery. This place is honestly a joke, Rent a storage unit for 40 bucks a month that is locked and secure instead of 200 dollars a month with run arounds!

Pods made our move easy and affordable. We rented two of the large pods, they were delivered when promised. They were then picked up and transferred to Indianapolis where they were stored for two months. They then were delivered to our new house, again when promised, and there was NO damage. I would definitely recommend Pods, but also hope that I never need again! But if I do I will not hesitate to use again.

They don't deliver to Columbus. So I have to go rent a U-Haul, drive to Indianapolis, unload my POD onto the U-Haul, take it back to Columbus, and unload it at my house...WHAT A JOKE!

I had 12ft delivered and ordered 2 16ft for the next day. Well they were suppose to pick up the 13fy before delivering the 2 16footers. I ended up with 3 PODS and one in the graz. I tried calling customer service, but they said it wasn't scheduled till 2 days later. Mine you I had only a 2 car driveway, so why wouldn't I schedule one for pick up. I tried on several occasions to get them to pick up but they didn't. I had confermed during and after order. When it came time to deliver to my PODS they got the address mixed up. It was dropped off at the wrong address even after I called to confirm. Lucky the driver went back and picked it up. Thank God for the driver.

Pods is a complete scam. What I was quoted and what i was charged was completely different. The lack of customer service is appalling. I called and was told the extra charges were going to be credited to my card and shocker only half was, again I called and was told there was nothing they could do. Look else where for moving needs unless you want to be ripped off. How they are able to operate by stealing money from people is mind blowing. Awful company.

As far as the Idea of PODs , I would have given PODs a 5 star review. The actual concept is fabulous and my POD was delivered, I packed it up and it was appropriately taken to the storage facility. I will update this when I receive my items, however. So why did I give PODs at 3 star? The process of setting up delivery and pick up on the website is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. It took me 2.5hours just to set up the initial delivery. I tried using the website, but after that failed about 100 times, I had to sit on hold and speak to someone. That took an additional 45mins-1hr. The same thing happened when I tried to set up the redelivery. I still have not been able to appropriately set up the final pick up. I tried to call, but again, because no one can use the God awful website, there is a hideously long wait. The convenience of the POD concept is seriously blunted by the wildly inconvenient execution of the concept. If PODs could get their system to be more functional and actually work, this would be great and I would give 5 stars, but as it stands right now, scheduling is a total nightmare.

was provided a wrong auction date on a unit that incorrectly had only my ex-husbands name on it; paid for over 3 years and he went it person to relinquish the unit out of spite. I contacted the AG's ofc and it "upset" the office staff, namely Noelle Richmond, so she politely told me wrong information. Am now in a position to possibly sue and probably will. All my childrens' lives were in that unit.

So first of all i had the POD for only a week and found out i had to have a city permit. Then i was charged $91 for a pickup fee that i was never told about and they wont give me my money back for the unknown pickup fee that the lady says its in my contract but im reading it over and it says nothing about a pickup fee ..this is a scam for only a month long storage i paid over $300 i could have just went out and bought a new shed for that and had extra storage for life . this is a joke i will never do PODS again .Its just a scam to get ur money .

We got a quote 3 months ahead of our move and the price we were quoted was good through when our estimated time of need was determined! We called and gave the instructions for a certain day and the man delivering the POD was on time! We filled it up at our leisure and we ask for the pick up and they came on time. Then we had another POD delivered and we got the same great service. When we purchased another home and our POD's were delivered to our new address many states away! Everything was on time and nothing was damaged. We would definitely use PODS again!!

The local company works very well with you and accommodated some tough scheduling issues. However, the corporation as a whole is terrible. I was under some time constraints. They gave me the quote and information on the phone and told me I had to “sign” the documents on-line through an email. I did that over my phone and neglected to read all the pages on my phone before “signing” the agreement. The information in the agreement did not match what was given to me over the phone. This was very consistent. The PODS representatives will say whatever it takes to make you happy over the phone, and then it is not true. We asked to change the name on the account and were told it would not be a problem. Later all the information that was given to us over the phone regarding changing the name on the account turned out to be not true. When we went to finally get our pods I specifically asked if there were going to be any additional charges after I paid the delivery fee if the pods were picked up before the monthly storage fee was due. They said I would have no additional charges. When the pods were picked up I was charged a pick up fee. Just so you know what you are getting yourself into…. The first month you are charged the storage fee and a nominal charge for delivery and pickup. When you want your pods returned, you are charged the monthly storage fee for storage, the monthly storage fee for delivery and the same amount again for pickup. Make sure you read the fine print (which I have still not received a copy of but am told I agreed too).

Very misleeadong information. I had a friendly customer service representative who helped out with the best pod for me but she did not inform me that I would have to contact my city to obtain a Parking permit since the POD will be out in the street and that we would have to pay a extra $35 on a application fee plus $160 for the time it is out there for the week. I am very over whelmed and frustrated and I will contact customer service tomorrow to possibly get refunded and have them pick the POD up! Worst customer service ever since it was misleading! And I do not reccomend!

If I could give a Zero I would. Stored our items for 4 months. Had the POD delivered today to only find water damage to most our boxes, our furniture filled with mold, including mattresses, kids toys, and clothes. We are out $10,000 in belongings. I had to hear my daughter cry herself to sleep tonight because most of her things are destroyed.
