When I received their quote and saw it was half the amount I received from other movers, I was very skeptical about using them. I checked with the Better Business Bureau to see if there were any claims made against them. After reading the remarks made, I felt comfortable using them. I was so pleased with them moving my furniture into my new home, I decided to use them again when I moved into my new office. Both times I was very happy with their service. Leaders was a great choice for our move. We had received a $100 off coupon from our realtor during our home closing, and after reading some of the reviews, we felt like Leaders would do a good job. Not only did they do a good job, they did a great job. Our move had an extra stop and a ton of stairs. The guys arrived on time, were very polite, and extremely fast! LaRon, Brandon, and Caleb were great. They were very careful with our items. Did I mention they were fast? They arrived at the first stop at 8am and were done unloading at the last place at 12pm. Fastest move I have ever experienced. They were fast, but not careless. Our new home didn’t have any scratches or dings after they left. The whole process was very easy with Leaders. From speaking with Grace regarding booking the move, to the move itself, we were in good hands. Price wise, we felt Leaders was on-par with other big name movers. To us, the price was worth it for their extra care and consideration. I will definitely be recommending Leaders to family and friends. Thanks so much to the whole team for making our move so easy!

Great moving experience. Every piece handled with extreme care, especially extra large executive desk that they managed to get down hall into a bed room. Movers were clean, polite and nothing seemed to be a problem. No problem moving a large breakfront to another area in new home. Arrived on time ready to go with no time outs. If I were still in business I'd try to steal those two men. Zach, manager, was also great and knowledgeable. A few changes in pieces to be moved were handled over the phone with immediate adjustment in price. You can't go wrong with this company.

Although they were nice and prompt they scratched multiple items. These aren’t small dings that can be lived with, these areassive scratches and gouges. Very dissapponted in their performance and would not recommend them at all. These aren’t scratches that they wouldn’t have seen. They should of had the respect to come to me and apologize upfront and inform me on what happened while they were here.i wish google would allow me to post pictures of the damage.

Then, in Dec2018, we moved from that apartment to our new house. Once again the Ben team (with Mike, this time) proved beyond a doubt that Leaders is the company to call when you need movers. It was difficult to get email confirmation of the move so I eventually called and confirmed for the day of the move. The movers were supposed to be there between 8-9 AM. At 10 AM I called and was told you were "looking into it." After multiple calls from myself, my husband, and our realtor I eventually was called and told we may need to schedule. This was at noon. At 2 PM the movers showed up. They missed taking 5 different items on the list and we still need to figure out how to get those over. I was so frazzled because of the late timing that I did not notice this when the loaded. When they got to our new house they put our bed back together and we noticed that there were multiple screws and washers left over so they did not put it back together properly. They damaged our best piece of furniture (a large wood table) and we are still waiting to hear from the claims department. This was an absolutely terrible experience.

Leaders moved items from my mother's home to an assisted living facility in early March 2018. Everything was great from the beginning through to the end. The communication was clear and pricing didn't change, the staff were competent and friendly and took care of her items. Several curio cabinet shelves went missing temporarily but were found and delivered to her. I would use them again!

Our experience with Leaders was exceptional from the first contact to delivery of the last item. Our initial call for an estimate was returned the same day and a time to meet at our home to estimate the cost of the move was arranged to fit our schedule. Our move was not a typical move as the property from which we were moving not only included a large home, but also included a three stall horse barn, a 20 foot by 40 foot storage building, a garden shed, a few pieces of equipment and a truck. To complicate matters, we were moving our items to two separate properties. Our crew, Ben, Mike, Diego, Patrick and Derreck (plus two other crew members on different days), were professional, polite, hard working and went above and beyond to protect our items and make the move as smooth as possible. We would definitely use them again!

Andrew, the manager was very helpful, friendly and very professional. We got an estimate a few weeks before our move and we were able to adjust it as needed based on furniture we had sold. The most awful experience I have ever had. These guys have done 3 moves for members of my family and things were fine. I called them to set up a move. Told them in only had 5 things but that they were all very heavy and would require several strong guys (pinball machine, 2 safes, a large heavy wood bar that they had previously moved for me into the basement). I explained all this on the phone to them. Saturday rolls around and 2 skinny guys show up and go, yeah we aren't moving that. I got Andrew on the phone and he came out to my house looked at my stuff and said we need more guys and they would do it Monday. I explained I had to be out of the house by Sunday evening at 8pm and he still couldn't fix his mistake. So we set it up for Monday morning. Monday rolls around and Andrew is the only guy who shows up, nobody else at all. Not 1 other guy. Excuses about guys might be at office blah blah blah but knowing the gravity of the situation and us being told the entire crew would be there if needed we go NOBODY!!!! So I call him to find out what's going on and I get exudes about how the paperwork says the safes only weigh 100 lbs, this is really my fault and not all theirs. Etc etc. I said he could find the recorded call of when I set this up and it would prove I said multiple times how heavy the things were. Well, they stopped returning my calls, stopped communication, wouldn't do anything to get the situation resolved. Told me the quote would have to increase but then he still couldn't get to me for another week. So my stuff got left at the house and now the buyers of my old house have a $10,000 bar for free that we could not move out or schedule other companies on zero notice. Horrible horrible experience and would never ever have these guys handle a move of any of my stuff or anybody yours of any value other than simple boxes. I'm out $10k and short of suing people I will never see my bar or my stuff. Crushing experience. Don't ever rent from these guys

La’Ron, Daniel and Steve were amazing. Extremely professional and personable. From setting up my quote online to finalizing the moving details with Andrew, I was very happy. I am eight months pregnant and moved from Indianapolis to Columbus, Ohio. I was dreading this move, but Leaders Moving & Storage Co made it much less stressful. They brought 4-5 guys to help load the truck from a third floor apartment. The manager, Andrew, even came by to check in. They all went above and beyond. Highly Recommend! I hadn't moved in almost 20 yrs and had no idea who to use and strictly went by online reviews and they don't lie for this company! From the excellent customer service provided by Candace to the actual movers Dominique and Bradon, I couldn't have been more satisfied. They were all very professional and courteous. A funny testament to the quality of their work was I had inadvertently handed them a box of refrigerator food that I had packed at the last minute that didn't fit in the cooler I'd planned it to fit in and there was a carton of eggs on top.....after we got to my new place I remembered it and found the box and not a single egg was cracked! Leaders has been awesome! We received four quotes to pack and move. John was the most professional and courteous in his review of our home and provided a prompt quote that was very reasonable. On packing day, Benjamin, Dennis and Brady did an excellent job packing our items. They were respectful and took care in their tasks. Benjamin was the group leader and was very organized and directed his team well. These three were joined on moving day by Tre, Jabari, and Dave. We were amazed at how organized the trucks were packed. All is now in storage until we move into our new home. I am sure our items will be stored safely and will be moved into our home as well as they were moved out of our old home. You do want a moving company that cares as much about your stuff as you do. This group does!

Movers Leonard, Brente, Dashon were over an hour late, no phone call to let us know they were on their way, until I contacted the LEADER office. I hurriedly signed the form I was given without reading it. We have filed claims for the damage they did to our newly built home, including deep scratches in new laminate, chunks out of wall, and damaging our refrigerator beyond repair because they took the doors off and ruined its digital circuit board. The walls have been repaired and we are still waiting on the laminate to be fixed. LEADERS will not replace our Frigidaire Gallery; instead we are being offered about 1/2 the replacement cost. We have spent hours of "windows" of time for the the wall repair person, the refrigerator repair person, and the repair person to evaluate our laminate damage. When he returns, it will take 3-4 hours to lay replacement boards. All told we've spent 12 hours so far, being available for persons to inspect and fix the damage caused by LEADERS. Of course there is no compensation for our time. We are very unhappy. Then today we learned that our refrigerator can't be fixed or replaced. We will have to add about $500 of our own money to the amount LEADERS is offering. Does that seem fair? UPDATE: After we protested the money offered for our refrigerator, operations manager Jason Farley, offered us full compensation for it. He was a very nice, understanding, professional employee.

I liked Leaders better than the other moving companies I quoted from the beginning because of the online inventory, automated quoting system and professionalism. Due to the online inventory and automated quoting system, I was able to get my quote much quicker from Leaders and it was quite accurate in the end too! I also like it that they charge by the item instead of by hour. Overall, Leader's price was better than other movers but I didn't feel like that was going to jeopardize the quality of the move at all. Kevin did a great job during the initial walk through to solidify the online quote and my movers Daniel and Ben arrived on time and proved that Leader's quality is above other moving companies. They did exactly what I asked and only had a couple of questions along the way. Both were friendly and skilled at packing into the truck, moving and unpacking. I figured they would need a lot more direction than they did. In all, they did a great job and were quick as well. We started at 8:45am and were done by 1pm. I'd highly recommend Leaders to others.

Moving is never fun, but this is my second full pack move with Leaders. Their quote process was on-site and thorough, resulting in a competitive price guaranteed not to be exceeded. My timeline was short and they hit all the marks. They solved some delivery problems resulting from a winding uphill driveway with utility wires in the way. On both ends of a 130 mile move, the team was pleasant, efficient and packed and dropped off everything like it was their own. Today, Ben, Brwundy and Daniel moved us on probably the most complex move they've done as a crew. We had the description accurate beforehand, but I don't think they had appreciated our tough needs. We were downsizing from a 5-bedroom tri-level with a basement to a 2-bedroom apartment and a storage pod that had already been delivered. I had gotten an estimate from Two Men & A Truck (2MAAT), and they wanted to send 2 trucks and 4 men because he was certain we had so much stuff that we would be risking it even with 2-26' trucks in addition to a 20' pod. Even when I convinced him it wasn't 2 trucks' worth and that we could make due with 1 truck and 3 men, their quote was still significantly more than my initial quote from Leaders, which I had obtained at the recommendation of our broker who listed our house for sale. Even though 2MAAT came out and did a full walk through of the house in order to estimate it, I never felt like they understood the move itself, which is why I think he overestimated. Leaders' didn't come for a walk through estimate, but their method of estimating by the item count made the move way less stressful for us, and I think way more efficient for their workers. I tacked on the insurance and had a couple items I'd forgotten about, but the final cost with generous tip was still less than 2MAAT's lowest price that did not including tip. While all three men realized it was a big job, I never got anything but a smile from all of them. Daniel was incredibly professional in his team leadership. He was tough and pushed the other two hard, but sometimes in passing on the long sidewalk to the apartment, and they'd chat for 30 seconds about the last conversation one of them had with their toddler kid, they'd quickly laugh, and went back to what was practically a fast trot (and sometimes literal run). I never felt like time was wasted or that anyone was complaining. Previous experience with movers has been spotty at best. One time a woman who was part of the crew started loudly preaching anti-gay rhetoric in front of my partner and me, not to mention the moves with breakage, lateness, or basic rude demeanor. All three of our movers got to know us over the day, and toward the end, one of them both remarked how cool we were as people (we treated them well and helped with the physical labor), and all of them ended up shaking our hands multiple times at the end of the day with big grins on their faces. I don't expect everyone in life to deeply understand my perspective, but to show mutual professionalism, respect, and personal interest, even at the hardest points in the day in terms of their strenuous labor, is quite rare in the industry, and deserves to be commended. I don't think I've ever heard from a mover that they appreciate their jobs because they meet interesting people and get benefits for their families. They finished in less time than 2MAAT estimated, but Leaders finished the job, which 2MAAT told me was literally impossible. It's not all about the difference in the estimate and the process of it. It's that they do things in an entirely different way than anyone else I've ever hired to move anything of mine. I now understand the high reviews I read beforehand, and why my Realtor suggested I call them first. Will definitely be calling Leaders when it comes time to move into our new house in 6 months.

LEADERS OF UNPROFESSIONAL PACKING AND MOVING!!! GUARANTEED TO FRUSTRATE YOUR EVERY MOMENT!!! My spouse and I have moved cross country with various professional movers over 6 times. I watched the movers pack and mark boxes identifying contents and room. There are specific ways to pack dishes, pictures, and other fragile objects that EVERY company consistently did using professionally trained packers. Leaders Moving did NOT follow the standard practices with wrapping and stacking dishes. This company had no picture boxes ( I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS). They had no specific packing paper for pictures. They had no mattress boxes?!?! Our mattresses had warranties which required them to be spotless. We told them we wanted something protecting our mattresses and why. They forgot “the plastic bags!” The second day and had to go back. They marked the boxes with arbitrary room numbers, no one could explain which room was which number. THEY DID NOT LIST ANY DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS IN THE BOXES. So we have NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THE BOX WE ARE UNPACKING AND SOMETIMES NO IDEA WHAT ROOM IT IS FROM!!! Along with this issue, they gave us an estimate of one day packing, one day moving. They did not give us enough “packers” the first day, so after 8 hours we were barely halfway done. The next day they sent 4 “packers” / movers. Our house was packed and loaded after 5 pm. I had tried to explain that we were moving to the country with no outdoor lighting. So after an hour plus drive to get there the onloading began after 6 pm. It got dark and most of tne move was conducted USING MY CAR LIGHTS TO SEE WHERE ITEMS NEEDED TO GO!!! The move did not end until approximately 11:00 pm. Now I have a garage full of boxes that I have no idea what they contain and some with no idea what room they are from. IN ALL OUR MOVES THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED. IF YOU WANT A DISORGANIZED FRUSTRATING MOVE, THAT WILL LAST INTO THE NIGHT - THIS IS YOUR COMPANY! LEADERS OF BAD MOVING PRACTICES - GUARANTEED TO FRUSTRATE YOUR EVERY MOMENT!!!!
