I'm not someone who has high regard for my stuff but my girlfriend does and she was very please with how well the 2 movers did their work. My experience with them was great. I called them blindly not knowing anything about the company other than the fact that they could move hot tubs. The movers were quick, respectful and very polite. They were so fast, I ended up having them move other items that I was going to do myself. I would highly recommend them. They were on time and did every thing as requested. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. Great company. I am very surprised to see some of the not so good reviews on here. Perhaps those were due to poor communication on the customer's part.....

I booked my move and had to change it last minute, the people in the office were great about taking care of this!! A++ The day of the move, I received a call asking if I was sure I only wanted 2 movers and not 3. I ensured them I was good with 2 since it was only furniture...SEVERAL TIMES (this was annoying). Then the movers called to say they had been sent down south and I live west so they were about 45min late...no big deal. I did not like the list of "additional charges" that we stated upon their arrival. The most humorous to me was tape..I had hired them to move furniture, not boxes. All of these charges were waived as long as I wrote that I hadn't been told about them up front. So I didn't pay them just irksome to have to even deal with. The guys were quick and got things placed appropriately. They were nice and polite at our home. I am giving 3 stars instead of 4 due to the pushing of additional services that were un-needed (the guys finished ahead of time) and additional charges showing up on the bill.

Purchased the move through groupon. Worst decision ever. These people are the poorest excuse for movers ever. Spoke to customer service over the phone explained that I have an entertainment center and a bedframe that need to be disassembled. the movers arrived many hours late claiming to have no tools, but they advertise to disassemble and set up.!? Claimed to not know how to disassemble the entertainment center, did not know how to disassemble my IKEA bed. (Which I googled and took apart in 5 minutes). Claimed to go outside and call his "supervisor" and said "oh we will save you some money by taking all the furniture and leave the big items and my supervisor will come over tomorrow. He has the tools.He will be able to disassemble for you". They were terrible!!, They sat upholstered furniture down in the rain soaked grass. The furniture was wet, muddy, with leaves and mulch on it. I asked the mover bringing the furniture in did he sit the furniture down on the ground. He promptly said "oh no I made sure it did not touch the ground".. Then I asked "well what is that"? and he said "oh I'm sorry". Never Again!!!!

Actually zero stars. They were terrible. Got our couch stuck for about an hour in the stairwell. Damages to wall and couch. They did repair holes in wall (but not paint), but have done nothing about damage to furniture. Corp. claims person will not return calls. Hired w/ Groupon. Never again.

The movers did an amazing job and in short time. The cost was fair and none of my personal items were damanged. However, when they left after the job was finished, they broke part of a big tree in my front yard with their truck. They pretty much acted like it didn't happen and kept driving away even though someone got out of the truck to look at the damage.

They handled everything with care and made sure to protect our belongings. They were efficient & professional. Pretty much on time, only complain is I told dispatch I would need them to bring tools to disassemble my beds & the movers had no tools, I ended up barrowing tools from my neighbor. They are a little on the pricy side but worth the money if you don't wanna be bothered with the stress of depending on friends & family members or doing it yourself.

Broke our desk. Broke our chest. Scrapped our hardwood floor. Moved some boxes that weren’t supposed to be included in the move resulting in more items being broken. Overall I don’t feel like much care was taken with our items. Didn’t seem very professional and we definitely weren’t compensated for the damage.

Apparently out of the three guys that came to my house only 1 had been with the company more than a week. Several damages to the house occurred such of them trying to fit a futon through a door it was clearly not going to fit through. The molding has marks from that. They were not efficient with the time it took to move things in and out- the one guy said it was because those guys were in "training." They told me they were not going to charge me for a big roll of saran wrap- then they did under the itemized bill-they actually left the whole roll at my house anyways. I was happy that I only have to pay $180 total for the move- and I was relieved once they left. The guys were nice, office staff seemed friendly, but I can understand why they are renting out their services under Groupon.

From the Start, the ladies at the Indy CS office were nice and patient. They were prompt with their follow up calls and knew what they were talking about. The Quoted Price was the exact price I paid.....The guys that showed up to move the safe were polite and professionals. I think it actually was over the hour mark by a couple minutes. They only charged me for the single hour. And they moved a 925 pound safe up to a third story. WOW. I was impressed...... Thanks to Travis, Jennifer, and Debra. You guys are awesome. I will use H to T movers again and will recommend them to friends and family.

I had used them in the past with good results, But this time the experience was VERY different. I called ahead a few days before to ask them to bring a tool to remove hex bolts to make moving and eliptical easier. The movers that arrived acted as if they had never gotten the message. THEN they broke a cover off the programmable thermostat on my wall while they were moving an item. They wanted to reimburse me 60 cents per pound. (the cover is less than 1 lb) but it is an eye sore for sure on my wall with the batteries exposed. Myself and the company could not find a replacement cover, and they have NOT replaced the unit, which i found for less than 50 dollars at a local big box retailer. I think it is horrible customer service to drop the ball on a less than 50 dollar item. Especially when I have used them a total of three times and spent well over 3 grand in moving services in the past. They said maybe if I come in and meet with the manager than we can get this resolved. That is unacceptable as I'm not going to waste anymore time beyond what I've already spent researching for a replacement part for less than a 50 dollar fix. I would NOT recommend The Indianapolis Here to there Movers.

I used Here to There Movers for the first time 3/2014 through purchase of a Groupon. They were great! Arrived on time, were courteous, extremely careful with the furniture, polite, and went above and beyond. Multiple rooms of large furniture and a few smaller things were moved from Indy to Greenwood in an hour! Very pleased! Bought a second Groupon and used them again 6/2014. I asked for, and was told I could have, the same 2 movers, but they sent someone else instead. Totally different experience. They called and asked to change our scheduled afternoon time to an early morning time, and then showed up hours late - the scheduler called and told me they couldn't meet the new time I'd asked them to come - when they asked me to change the time! Guys were nice but slow and inefficient. They charged us for every piece of tape they used, and also charged us a "weekend" rate for the Friday move, without informing us that they considered Friday a weekend. When I called and questioned why I'd be charged extra for Friday, the owner said it was because I, like many people, specifically wanted to move on a Friday or Saturday. Actually, the scheduler suggested Friday - I could have had the move done any day of the week, and I wasn't told I'd be charged extra. The short move - about 4 miles, of a small studio apartment,took them over 2 hours. They were sometimes carrying a box - or a waste basket - one at a time to the truck. The move cost me $350 - for a 4 mile move of a dozen pieces of furniture! Based on the second experience, I would definitely NOT use them again.

I have used this company for several moves. They are beyond excellent. They are punctual, courteous, and handled my items with care. I have moved what feels like a gazillion times, but by far, these are the best movers. They have the best price and the best service hands down. Even though the movers are paid by the hour, the hustle to get the job done quickly and efficiently. One of the moves that I coordinated was for my parents. This was a cross-country move. Every piece of furniture was individually wrapped (including a piano). When the items arrived 17 hours away for delivery, not one item was scratched, dented or damaged in anyway. The movers are super polite and courteous. They help situate furniture. They organize boxes for ease in unpacking. They go out of their way to protect your flooring when going in and out of the premise. I think it is really important to give praise when praise is due. This company goes way beyond expectations and does so while still presenting competitive rates. I cannot say enough great things about this company. If you are looking for movers, this is your company.

I'm moving a house in a few weeks and must say after a quick Google Maps search for moving companies in Fort Wayne and then reading the Google reviews for each - this is one company I will not use after seeing how the owner's childish and unprofessional replies to complaints on here. Thanks to users for leaving reviews and for the owners to take the time to reply and show the reviews were well justified.

Just attempted to book. They charge you a $10 booking fee and then read you a long list of disclaimers including how they will basically nickel and dime you during the move for every little thing they do. I asked Felicity why they charge you the $10 before they read the disclaimers (when you may or may no accept them)--seems to me they should read those before they charge you a non refundable fee.

Had the most upsetting experience. My movers were scheduled to be at their job at 2:00 pm. They did not arrive until 5:00 pm and I had to call the office 3 times to keep being told the time would be later than scheduled. They were foul mouthed and making fun of a cable installer I had at the home. They were more interested in making conversation with 20 year old sitting outside next door than actually moving my things. Because the job was being invoiced they actually stated that they were taking longer on purpose and that I shouldn't care because the job is being paid for by someone else anyway. I am absolutely outraged with this moving service. They are a disgrace. They were only to move my large items, which is the equivalent to a one bedroom apartment and everything was on the first floor of the home when they finally showed up! The move went from being a 2 hour move, to 5.25 hours due to the lack of motivation and constant chit-chatter between movers. My receptionist formally worked for a moving company who puts this company to shame in all categories. Total lack of professionalism! I am also an Angie's List member and will be writing a review there as well.

I only hired these movers because I had a Groupon. The movers took forever to move 5 pieces of furniture. Although they were friendly, they took their time and charged us for more time than they actually worked and then made me feel bad about tipping them. I told them I didn't have any cash, they asked if they could follow me to an ATM. I told them I had to go someplace else. I am not a confrontational person so I ended up just giving them what little cash I had so they would leave. I definitely would not recommend this company!

Kind of surprising that Here to There Movers keeps sending me automated responses asking me to review them, considering that they were a no-show! I guess this proves how poor their QC really is. I was grateful to hear from them when I was calling in desperate need of a mover just six days in advance. They were cordial on the phone (open on a Sunday--rare for movers) and said they would stop by at noon the next day to scan my belongings and give me a quote. They said that in-person visits were the only way they could provide an accurate quote. Noon came and went--no visit, no phone call. I called by 1:30p and the reception was apologetic and said they'd try again "in a few hours". When I said that a vague time frame wasn't going to work for me, since I had already wasted time waiting for them once, they said they'd be there at 5:30p. Yet again, it came and went--no one showed. This time I called and got a voice mail, but no call back. Three days later they called, still polite, still expecting my business. Obviously by this point I had found a moving company that could keep its word. I'd probably give one star here, but since I didn't actually use their services, that didn't seem quite fair. You can decide if two stars is generous...

We moved on the hottest day the century! Still, our 3-man crew was excellent, hard working and did not complain once. Curtis, Matt and Jeremy were very respectful, kind, and helpful. Even in 104 degree heat, they completed our move with time to spare and saved us money! We had minor issues with wall scrapes, which we expected. Just one broken item, which could have been due to my packing. I would use Here to There again and would recommend them to friends.

My move was scheduled for 6:30 but the movers showed up at 8:30pm. They pulled into my neighbors driveway and hit a powerline, which then caused them to be stuck in my neighbors driveway. I had everything ready to be placed in the truck on my driveway so the move took much longer. I ended up helping move a majority of the furniture because we had to walk it over to my neighbors house. One of the movers was fantastic in helping, the other one was awful. He was on his phone and taking his time to cause my time to increase. I had to help move items because it was suppose to be a 15 minute load tops but ended up being 30 minutes with me doing a part of the work. After the power line was hit, the lazy mover claimed he was trying to figure out how to send the pictures of the power line to his boss but I caught him (I believe his name was Rose) on facebook and conveniently he just started the clock for my moving time. It was very apparent one of the movers was a hard worker and Rose (?) was not at all. I felt like I hired one truck/mover and between me and him we moved all my furniture. By the end of the move we got done around 11pm and originally I was quoted $85/hr by the two movers. The next morning I was informed it was supposed to be $95/hr and was promptly charged the difference for their mistake. Overall, the service was terrible besides the one mover who helped and went above and beyond.

I recently used Here To There Movers and could not have been happier. They were on-time, courteous and very hard working. They treated each box, piece of furniture and random object or kid's toy from our home as if they were moving their own things. They were able to fit nearly everything from a 4000+ square foot home into a 26 foot truck. It was truly a work of art, like a giant puzzle piece that they were able to complete. All of this was done in about 2.5 hours, very impressive for 3 guys in that amount of time. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know, they were excellent.

Not having used Here To There Movers before, I was a little nervous about hiring them to move my mom to a memory care facility. However, I was pleasantly surprised. With only one day notice, they showed up early and did a magnificent job. I was feeling overwhelmed by the chaos of such a quick move, but the two men came in and handled everything expertly. It was a snowy day and I appreciated them putting floor pads down. They were respectful and responded professionally to our requests. The cost was extremely reasonable for the service. I would highly recommend them.

Long story short: if you have a problem, the people at this company have no sympathy, don’t apologize, and are completely uninterested in helping their customers. The movers themselves did a great job. They were fast, careful, and courteous. But they did accidentally leave an item on the truck, and everything went downhill from there. No one at the company, except for Carrie, seems to give a damn at all about helping their customers. We moved on a Tuesday morning. Early that afternoon we discovered the missing item and called about it. We were told, “I’ll send a message to the manager, he will look for it and call you back.” No call back Wednesday morning, so we called again. Apparently it was a little early, so we left a voicemail. We didn’t get a return call, so I call again that afternoon: “The manager is on an inter-State move, he will call you back when he returns around 6 or 7.” Again, no phone call, and no apology or any glimmer of understanding or sympathy. We tried again first thing on Thursday, I explained the manager was supposed to call us the night before and didn’t. The woman just said she was sending another message to the manager and “hopefully” hopefully he would call me back soon. Not wanting a repeat of the last two days, we called again 2 hours later. This is when we reached Carrie, who at least seemed to be on our side and share our frustration at not having received a call back. She worked with us to reach the manager, Christian, but it still took several hours and two more calls to corporate for him to call us back. Of course, by this point our item wasn’t just on the truck any more, but truly lost. Christian told us to speak with corporate about what they could do for a resolution. At this time Carrie had gone home for the day and we spoke to Jeff. Jeff is nothing but rude and condescending, and was clearly trying to just get rid of us. His offered solution was honestly ridiculous (this missing item is a piece of a $90 slatted bed frame; he said they have lots of bed frame pieces in their warehouse, they’d just send a replacement piece to us on their next truck to Columbus. Since when are all bed frame pieces interchangeable??) We called Christian back to tell him about this ridiculous offer, and he suggested we speak with Josh (the owner) or JR. On Friday we called again, hoping to speak with Carrie, the only reasonable person we had dealt with so far. She wasn’t available and we got transferred to Jeff, who spoke very insultingly and this time offered to send an entire bed frame, because apparently moving companies just have those around, which would get to us in a few days. We’ve already been sleeping on the floor all week because no one at this company is capable of calling their customers back. When I was uninterested in that solution, he offered me $20. I can’t replace a bed frame for $20. I tried calling again to speak with Josh or JR to explain my frustration with their customer service. They were unavailable, of course, but again, the person taking my call would send them a message. A few minutes later Jeff called me back, I explained I just wanted to speak with his boss. He said he’d have him call me, but, guess what? No one has reached out to me since. To recap: we have made a total of 12 calls over 4 days, and only received 2 call backs (once from Christian, after Carrie bagged him for us, once from Jeff, when I was trying to lodge a complaint against him with his boss). My problem isn’t that they lost a piece of my bed frame, though that is annoying. My problem is that these people ignore their customers entirely. If Josh or JR wants to call me, I’d be happy to hear an apology.

My movers were great. I had used the company to move previously and was not impressed. However being on a tight budget it was the most affordable moving company I could find. You pay for what you get. HOWEVER this move the two guys that moved me went above and beyond...so it really depends on the movers. WARNING: the first time I used the company they damaged some furniture. They took forever to respond and then never followed through on the claim.

They scratched our walls in our brand new home, snapped a leg off our dining room table, slammed furniture on our hardwood floors, entertainment centerpiece leg was broken, etc. No matter if I SAW the guys break the item, they would claim, "That's how it was when we picked it up." Or, "It was like that when we got here." It was instantaneous and creepily in sync how they would respond; like they were trained to say it. One guy stepped outside for a very long period of time and claimed he couldn't work because he had a splinter. I had to dig through my boxes to find him a needle and tweezers --- all the while, the two other guys did the majority of the work. After things were settled, the main guy told me to wait a few weeks before I contacted Here to There to complain about the broken furniture. He said to wait because he had to turn in his paperwork first and I should allow myself time to scrutinize everything in the house. He said someone will come to the house to fix the items and/or replace them. I compiled my list of items and contacted Here to There. It's been 8 months since we moved and NOTHING has been done. I can't say I hated the service but I strongly disliked it. I'm happy it's over and I'm not moving any time soon.

To be honest, I was surprised at how fast they got everything done! They were extremely meticulous as well and they handled everything so gently! Movers cancelled appointment one hour before scheduled move. no warning and the manager's response was, "I called right after I found out that we don't have drivers"?! Only concession made was "hey we can come out tomorrow afternoon", screw up your work schedule so we can sit on our lazy asses and watch football today (Sunday). Love football, of course but this should never happen to a customer. The Fort Wayne Manager should have gotten off his butt and did the job since he is responsible for ensuring that movers are available or at the very least respected my time and cancelled last week. I am beyond livid.

Terrible experience in Indianapolis. We confirmed via telephone twice that they would do packing and supply boxes and the movers showed up with ZERO boxes and thus we had to complete packing with bags and whatever we could find. The two movers argued with each other the entire time, even using explicit language and both were bad-mouthing the other to us. Very unprofessional. When trying to move my very heavy dresser with every drawer full of clothes up our narrow stairs, both my fiancé and myself suggested we remove the drawers to make this manageable. They said that would waste time, they then proceeded to nearly drop it multiple times and ultimately knocked it into our glass window (our old, very valuable stained glass window) and shattered the window. They also dropped and shattered an end table off the truck - that was the least of my concerns. Glad to have it over with!

I used a Groupon, and they were the cheapest around. They needed some coaching on how to best pack the truck (in my humble opinion) but they got it all in and we had no damage. We had two packed storage units moved and in place within 2 hours. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The guys from Here to There were professional and helpful in handling our local move. They arrived about 15 minutes early (causing minor inconvenience), but when we told them we'd like them to move more than we initially scheduled for, they handled the surprise professionally and without complaint. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they got the job done in good time. They didn't take any breaks or waste any time. None of our furniture was damaged, and there were no significant marks on our walls. We'd recommend Here to There to others and we thank them for their help.

I have asked for three movers, they only sent two. I also asked help with packing which is super inefficient with two guys. They worked pretty hard but it was very inefficient to have two people for a three people job. It took them more than 6 hours and I am sure with 3 people they could do it in well less than four hours. They called the day before and I reconfirmed that I need three people not two as I mentioned with I made my reservation. So far the manager has not called me back after my attempts to talk to him/her multiple times. Even though these guys are more expensive, I made reservation with them because I wanted a professional service. Unfortunately, I did not get one. I have moved with exact same furniture with the same company before and It have cost me much less, the same set up. Very disappointed and exhausted!!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The movers broke our couch over 3 months ago. I have since called them over a dozen times, emailed multiple people, spoken to multiple people. I started the claims process three days after we moved. They have not once reached out to me about it. The manager Jennifer even hung up on me. They did finally come out and 'inspect' the couch in which they said they would let me know if they could fix, or replace, and then they never did. So I called and called again. Then they said they would send me $90. $90?!? That was over a month ago, by the way, for over a $1000 couch and a $1300 move. And still no check. The couch is trash, and so is this company.

The actual movers were great guys. There were a few nics here and there but nothing major. My issue was with corporate. Not with the girls taking the calls and setting up the move, other than the speed in which they "read" the terms, but with the fees. They tell you they are going to charge a fee to your card to make sure it's "good". Then I get a $6 fee on my account, which is not refundable. I called and asked what the fee is used for. The answer I got was, "nothing", it's just a fee we charge. Oh, thanks for sticking it to the "man". It didn't come off the price of my move or anything! Just took $6 out of my account. Could have given it back, verified a card with $1, but nope, had to be $6. That's a good chunk of change in corporates pocket per every move they make. I also heard something in the speed reading about a credit card fee, so I called back after I received my confirmation, and there was nothing on the terms and conditions page about a credit card fee if that option was used to pay. My answer there? Oh, that's an old form. Well, old form or not, it's not bindable and you better get your new forms ready before you get hit with a lawsuit for charging a 3% fee to someone who didn't agree to it, unless you can take the recording to court and the judge can understand the tape since it's read so fast. I actually think I'm going to report this to the BBB. Seems like fraud to me. Needless to say I paid cash! They already stole $6, why give them any more of my hard earned money, when the actual movers do all the work?? And I only gave one star because I had to, and again, it has NOTHING to do with the guys who came to do the actual move. I'll never use these guys again.

They have really bad customer service. I forgot to present my coupon when the movers left. I called the office IMMEDIATELY after. They said it wouldn't be a problem and to email a picture of the coupon over. I emailed them the picture of the coupon next to the receipt within 20 minutes after the movers left (they could clearly see this on the receipt). The local manager made it sound like it was no big deal and they would honor the coupon. I ended up being charged the full amount. I had to follow up a few times over the next couple of months since no one would return my calls. The district manager finally called back. He was rude and said they wouldn't be honoring my coupon. I understand their coupon policy but the picture of my receipt next to my printed coupon showed 100% I had intended to use it. They also said there should have been a note on my order that I would be using one. There should have been one because the person I placed the move with told me about the coupons and suggested which one to use. I said I'd be using the 3 movers for 2, so they sent 3 movers but didn't add the note. I should have presented the coupon when the movers left but since I was busy moving into my house it slipped my mind. They should have better customer service. The movers also asked me to help move boxes which I thought was a little weird. In addition, they broke my daughter's shelf. I didn't report it because I could fix it myself but they should have been more careful. They also included their time to stop and eat. Definitely use other movers.

We used Here To There Movers On Oct 1 to move our 3 bedroom, 3 level home from Indianapolis to Anderson. I was a bit hesitant to use them because of bad reviews I had read but I called and spoke with a manager who assured me that everything would be done professionally, carefully and as quickly as possible. Roosevelt (Rosie) and Steve showed up just a few minutes past our scheduled time only because they had a bit of trouble locating our house, which was not surprising. They were both very nice, polite and professional and only took a couple of bathroom breaks. Our move took a total of 5 hours including travel time. We had one truck packed full. I have to say I was surprised that nothing was broken or damaged from the move! I was very pleased! I would have liked it to have taken less time, but with all the stairs we had in both houses, it was understandable. I would use this company again in the future with no hesitation.

Horrendous Experience. The Movers themselves were honestly fantastic, so it's a shame. The guys were great. The company is extremely disappointing. We moved while I was very pregnant. To that end, I got quotes from many different moving companies. Ultimately, I decided to go with Here to There because we had used this same company to move from Cincy to up to Columbus a few years ago and had an excellent experience. Terrible decision. We were moving a 3800 sq foot house. We were quoted two trucks. Only one showed up the other had broken down and the company would not allow the head person on our job to rent another. They filled the truck as much as possible. Drove over to the new house, unloaded and tried to go back to get more. The truck broke down in the middle of our street blocking our NO OUTLET street completely. It took hours for this to be resolved. They rented the trucks from another company. Finally the guys left to get another truck that was being returned. That truck was smaller than the original truck. They could not fit everything from the old house into that truck. My husband had to go back to our old house at 5am the next day and get the rest of the items. They drove the second load over to the new house, arriving at 11:45 or so PM. They did not complete the unloading until 1:30AM. Most of it being unloaded into the garage in an effort to go quickly since it was so late. They did not leave the house until 2:15AM. The guys were great, but nothing was done the way I was quoted. We spent the next three days and even still re-arranging the garage and moving more boxes around because things weren't put in the correct place. Due to time and exhaustion. Our young children were not able to be in a bed until 1am---the move started at 8am, that's ridiculous. The worst part by far is trying to deal with them after the fact. I NEVER should have paid the bill. I called, explained everything that occurred and barely got an "I'm sorry". Instead he acted like I should be upset with the company they rented the trucks from---YOU rented them for my moving job. That's your responsibility. I will NEVER use them again and I certainly will spread the word as well. At the very least there should be a refund. We tipped the guys very well, but that company itself deserves no money for the horrible experience we went through. Again, the movers were really nice guys. The Company itself is horrible.

Unfortunately, I had a less than pleasant experience with Here to There Movers, this is my second time using them under the expectation that service would improve upon the second time, sadly it had NOT. I used 3 men with one truck, signed the contract and paid the cost, the next day, the manager called and told me that his guys undercharged me and that they would take their mistake out of my account. NOT MY PROBLEM!!! With the 3 men, one was extremely overweight and out of shape, ironically, he did most the labor which caused them to take 2 hours to load my few belongings and only ONE hour to unload....hmmm..coincidence? Think NOT! There's no reason it should have taken them that long. As the clock ticked away and I verbally expressed my frustrations with the crew, I made them leave my large dining room table and moved it myself. 2 men needed to use my restroom and 1 constantly spoke on his cell phone. At least 2 out of the 3 men would disappear for 15-20 minute increments. I would look out my window and would see 2 of them standing and watching.Most of the time they were incredibly unproductive. Oh and let's not forget the $6 fee to use credit/debit cards and since they had no idea how to utilize the card machine, they charged my account for the move twice! A true dissappointment and I will NEVER use them again!

Worst company ever. They were late to our move, almost didn't show up, were slow, and damaged our walls and hard wood floors in our new home. I then had to fight for 5 MONTHS to get any money back, and not even enough to cover the cost of the damage they caused. I went around and around in a constant game of "we'll call you back" and nobody ever did. J.R. said he was a manager and when he found out around month 3 promised to fix the next day, I never heard back. Only when I threatened small claims court did I get them to listen at all. The owner himself Joshua Baxter at one point spoke to me said he'd fix it and never called back. I would never EVER recommend using this company unless you want to waste your time and money.

I scheduled my move back in January for a 10:00am move. Movers finally showed up at 5:15p. Lead mover smelled of alcohol. He was VERY lewd and rude... he even suggested the move would go faster if we helped with some of the smaller stuff. After the truck was loaded, as we were preparing to head to the new place, the lead mover was rolling a joint in the cab of the truck. I attempted to call the office numerous times, but no one would return my call. I finally called the police... and it turned out that NEITHER of the movers had a valid drivers license. I refused to let them proceed with the move.. I requested new movers. Joshua Baxter, who had been extrememly rude and condescending earlier in the day, refused to bring new guys. He held my stuff hostage until I paid for the ENTIRE move in full in cash. When I went to the shop to pay, JR was extremely rude and condescending, as well.... suggested that I use the 25cents in change to go buy myself a meal at McDonalds. He also told me that I 'didn't need to be so mad... life is too short'. I will NEVER recommend this company.. and I will tell EVERYONE I can about the HORRIBLE experience I had.

We hired Here to There movers when we moved out of our last home and moved our belongings into storage last Fall. We were told during the estimate that our couches would be wrapped and things would be placed on a pallet and shrink-wrapped. None of these things happened. None of our loose things were properly protected. The packing job was rather novice. The movers were on-time and courteous and did work pretty hard. I can't knock their work ethics. I was just upset that proper care wasn't taken to protect our belongings. We once again utilized Here to There when we moved our things from storage to our new home. They were actually early, which was great. They worked pretty hard, but again, didn't take much time to protect our valuables. I assume this was to save time, but since it was included in our initial estimate, I assumed it would've been figured into the quote. None of our things were really damaged, except a few scrapes and scratches here and there. I wasn't upset with their performance, but I wasn't exactly impressed. I don't think I would utilize their services again.

Arrived on time. They do not put down plastic to walk on. They answer their phones while they are on your dime. They dinged up almost every piece of furniture. They don't pad the furniture before they move it down to the truck. When we drove to the new place they would not even drive the speed limit, I suspect they were "milking" time. While unloading they stopped to take time to fold up the pads on the customers time. Would not use these movers again.

We were not happy at all. First of all, we purchased the certificate from Amazon Local, and when we set up the appointment, we were told that there was an extra charge of $25 that was not on the certificate. I asked that they movers call before they came, but they just showed up without calling. The certificate was for 3 hours, and the move really should not have taken that long. Unfortunately one of the two men had his phone and was continually stopping to talk on his phone or to look at it. Due to this, it took them 5 hours to move our things. We only have 1 bedroom and another bedroom that only had boxes and shelves in it, and I told them not to move anything in our closets or bathrooms so there wasn't much. The same person who was wasting time also complained many times about how many boxes I had. I would think that would not be much of a problem since they had 2 dollies to move them. At one point, the same person threw a jack over the fence in to the grass. My son told him not to be throwing our things. He cussed and said that it was just a XXX jack. Two items ended up breaking. We moved in to a brand new home, and they scraped one of the walls. It ended up costing $168 more than we had planned due to the wasted time. I will not use this company again.

Worst move and company ever. I have used Sherman Movers the past three times and should have stuck with them this time as well. The movers arrived late, one of the two movers was unable to continue as the heat outside was too much for him. I had to help unload and move everything myself. I would have just rented a UHaul if that is what I wanted to do. The movers damaged our hardwood floors and dining room table. My wife called and spoke to Mike Summers who should not be employed by anyone. He's was so rude and disrespectful to both my wife and myself. And, he was a manager. Says alot about the company. We filed an online claim three days ago and have yet to hear from anyone. A word of advice...don't use them!

I purchased a piano and only had a day and a half to move it. I called Here To There and they were able to accommodate me the next day. The piano was wrapped and the three men worked hard lifting it up a flight of stairs. They were punctual and careful entering the house not to touch the walls or other furniture. Very satisfied.

Moving is already stressful and then you tried jacking up my prices on the day of the move and while adding a cost you took a person away, makes sense right? These were the worst movers, ever. The office mis-scheduled my move date and had to scramble to find a truck and crew. I was moving some items to storage and others to my new home, I went through and noted where each item was going, the boxes were not marked but I told them I could label them, they said is was not necessary but later delivered storage items to my home and home items to storage. They switched one of the members of the crew before the move was complete (this was the lead guy who screwed up the location of the items) and the new guy informed me that if I wanted the items moved to the correct location, I would have to pay. The movers damaged a expensive piece of furniture and did not tell me, there is a glass table top missing that I assume they broke, they damaged the new home by bumping into walls etc. I have had to move several times over the last 10 years and for most of them used another mover who, unfortunately is not longer in business, they moved most of this same furniture as in this move but did it efficiently, professional and without damage but "Here to There" made this my worst move ever!!! Not only do I not recommend they I would recommend anyone but them.

I have used this company twice and I should have never returned. They broke the leg on my couch , they ripped my leather foot board, the mover Demetrius decided to argue with me when I told him not to carry my washer by the hot and cold water hoses. The Manager of the office was moving my washer with him and allowed that behavior. I was asked to empty my dresser drawers prior to the move and they still scratched my dresser draw. There were two gentleman that were extremely polite and professional throughout the entire move(they rode in a red SUV)! Demetrius referred to me as “Hun” when I told him not to set my boxes in a certain location, I corrected Demetrius in how he would address me, again the office manager standing there and he said nothing. The office manager answered two personal calls during my move. I wouldn’t have complained about the office manager’s personal calls, because he did displayed some moments of professionalism, however I would suggest leading his team instead of being their friends with them. They attempted to hide the broken couch leg and their response “it’s some where under there,” when I asked what happened to my couch! I was told that I have to jump through several hoops to get my items fixed. I’m going to tell everyone who will listen that Here To There movers is a trashy, unprofessional moving service and I even used the groupon. I’m glad that I had that because the way they threw my furniture around was a horrible representation of this business

We just finished our move today with Here to There Movers. What an AWEFUL company! I feel bad for the workers, because those guys busted their backs for us today and really did a good job, but the company is horrendous. We started off with a contract to have a 3-man crew come to our house and move us. We talked through all things in our home, and they suggested 3 men, 1 truck, and 3-4 hours. We scheduled the move for 11:30 today. The first crew showed up around 12:15 (45 minutes late). When they got to the house they explained to me that they were told to only bring 2 men and that our house had way too much stuff for them. So they left. We called. The Office assured us they’d handle it. The guys came back. They said they needed more men, but no one was available. The office called me and apologized profusely. They promised to make it right. They said they would send out a 4-man crew immediately and 2 trucks. They would charge me the 2-man rate instead of the 3-man rate, and they’d comp the trucks. They also said that they would do anything in their power to make this right. The trucks finally showed up around 2:30 and they got us moved. 8:30 and they write up our bill...with the three man rate. No one from corporate told our crew that they offered us the discount for our troubles. We called. No answer. Called. No answer. Finally a manger answered his cell phone. He told me he flat out never promised me that and refused to allow us to have the discount. He thought a 3-man rate was a great discount (even though that’s exactly what our agreement was originally). He told me I was making it up and he would NEVER give a discount like that. Even though his quote earlier was “I’ll do anything to make this right for you!” ...he must have forgot the part about “anything as long as it’s literally nothing.” He lies to us and blatantly pulled a bait and switch. If you are moving, please consider hiring the 3 high school kids in your neighborhood before you give this unethical company a penny!

Overall, I'm very pleased with Here to There Movers. They helped me move a piano from Ft Wayne to Indy by getting it onto a truck that was already making the drive, saving me hundreds of dollars. The movers who showed up were friendly and professional. Used Here to There Movers for a move for my office in Fort Wayne The movers stripped the connectors on 3-sides of a receptionist desk that was 6-months old and cost $900. After jumping through several hoops with them by uploading photos and desk weight, they never return calls and have been told there is nothing they can do for my claim since the desk was made of pressed wood and "those type of desks are not meant to be moved". Wow! Buyer definitely beware.

Absolutely terrible service. Movers were kind and hard working but destroyed our walls, knocked trim off of our floor, gouged door frames, scraped paint, and broke furniture. They used bungee cords to fold my mattress in half and left it on my bedroom floor still bungeed together. It has been two days and I still do not have my bed frame or the shelves for my entertainment stand and bookshelf. They claimed they were left on the truck and someone would be in touch. I have called 4 times over two days with no return call or offer to resolve the issue. I am contacting the BBB and suggest others do the same. This is beyond unacceptable.

We used 1 large truck and 3 movers for a 4BR house with a basement and 2 sets of stairs. They took care of the job in about 6 hours, which was right on with what they estimated for our quote, and actually just slightly cheaper. The movers were very friendly, and did a great job, without any damage. I'll definitely use them again when we move out of this temporary rental! I originally had a quote and deposit down with "2 men" but the quote for Here to there was lower, and they could accommodation my schedule better. Great value.

The movers were great. Thomas, Kenny and Steve were polite and worked together to make the move quick. However, the moving truck broke down twice. Once on the side of the road but it started again after 20 minutes. Then once during a stop in driveway. We then had to sit there for 2 hours waiting for the owner or manager to call or show up, which never happened. The company completely left us hanging and really left its employees hanging as well. Since they had to sit there with an unhappy customer and no plan of action besides waiting for a manager to come. Of course we were not charged for the time we were waiting. But we were also not given any sort of discount for the hassle or even an apology from the company. The following day I saw another one of their trucks being towed and overheard that another truck didn't have a gas pedal. Thus, the equipment is not reliable and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I would recommend the movers and hopefully the company acknowledges it is poor business practice to leave your employees like that.

The three man crew was 30 min late and moved all of our items with poor quality. We moved on a day where there was snow/ice on the ground and they did not even put mats down or put protection over their shoes. I had to put our own blankets down in our house to try and salvage our new carpet. They were walking through our brand new house with dirty shoes, scratched up our walls, and were unprofessional. They took a ridiculous amount of time to move everything (over four hours and we only had one bedroom set and a couch) and live less than a mile from our old house. Getting these movers was one of the worst decisions I made about this move. While scheduling the move I spoke with three different customer service agents to make sure they would be able to move my treadmill. I gave the model number of my treadmill and each one assured me that they will have no problem moving it and they will have all the tools they need if they do have to disassemble the machine. On the day of the move, the movers showed up a few hours late and looked at the treadmill, then told me that they will have to see if they can move it. They put all the other furniture in the truck and in the end told me that they won’t be able to move it without disassembling it. I told them to go ahead with it. Then they informed me that "legally they are not allowed to touch the machine and if the customer service agents had told me that they would disassemble it then they flat out lied to me". I tried calling customer service but no one was available to help me so I proceed to disassemble my treadmill, had to run out and get my wrenches because movers did not have any tools with them (I was assured by the customer service that they would). I took care of disassembling my treadmill with the help of my brother while I paid these movers an extra $119 dollars to stand and watch. They charged me $25 for wrapping my furniture but did not do a good job of it and still damaged my leather couch at the bottom and damaged my treadmill in the move. I called customer service agents multiple times after that and each time they told me they were not sure why the movers said that and an area manager will call me back but no one has bothered to call until now. It has been almost three months now. I have filed a claim with the company but have not heard anything from them after I sent them the pictures so I am not sure what is going on. But one thing is for sure I would never hire them again because I can deal with some damage in the move but dishonesty and shady business practice is a whole different thing.

This was our first and last time using Here to There Movers. They showed up an hour late to start with. The website said our carpet would be protected, as well as banisters, and neither was done. When they got to our new house, my husband asked them to put something down on the floors, since our house had just been built and our carpet was brand new. They did, only to take it back up 10 minutes later with no explanation as to why. We had three guys, and none of them acted as though they had ever moved someone before. They banged things into the walls, scratched my new bed, and pushed our banister through the wall in our basement. When it was time for them to come do the repairs, they were late every single time, usually by an hour. I had a terrible time getting them to return phone calls, and the manager I spoke with on the phone was rude and so was the "contractor". The man who came to make the repairs was as unprofessional as you can get, and the last time he was here it was raining very hard, but did he remove his shoes? No, he came in and out of my brand new house at least 7 times with his nasty, wet sneakers. My carpet was soaking wet by the time he left. I would never recommend this company, and I will never use them again. Unprofessional is the nicest thing I can say about them. I wish I had spent a little more money and went with a more reputable company.

Movers were contracted to move my home at 9am and did not show up until 4:30pm! I called the Fort Wayne Manager Travis and left 8 messages. No returned phone calls. I called the owner Josh with no return phone calls. I call today and Josh the owner answers the phone. I calmly and respectfully explained how this issue occurred and how it inconvenienced my family with Here to There Mover's showing up 7 hours late. I was promised bare minimum 4 men to move my items and only received 3 (what I paid for) I mentioned that my sister had died the day before and I had a lot to prepare for her memorial service the next day. Josh was very rude and disrespectful the entire conversation. He took no responsibility as a person in a position of authority for the inconvenience I faced. He replied "So, you are calling me to blame me for your sisters death?" I was so taken back that I actually told him I was surprised he would say such a think to me and I felt he was being very disrespectful. I have never been talked to in this manner by an person in authority when simply trying to get a resolution to issue I faced. He continued to tell me this was not his fault, my belongings were moved so he didn't understand the problem, what else do you want I've already given you a 10% (38.75) discount and so on. I will never recommend this company to another person. EVER.

They were not efficient with the time it took to move things in and out, ha, they even parked the truck out on the street, even though I asked them to drive UP to the garage....$$$$$$$- then, one guy said it was because those guys were in "training." They told me they were not going to charge me for a big roll of saran wrap $$$$$, and a box (which must have been made of GOLD $$$$$) then charged me under the itemized bill!! They were just taking their sweet time, $$$$$. I moved the same stuff with the same size truck in one trip and one hour. They left the heavy things in the garage, I couldn't believe it!!!! I wasn't about to pay another hour of service when it took over 2 hrs to move down the block! I asked flat out what was left to move "oh a couple plastic tubs and chairs" I said, I'd get it moved myself~ WELL, there was a 1/2 a truck full that still needed to be moved!!!!! Silly me I never looked in the truck before hitting the road, that truck had to be empty. I had rented the same size truck and same move, it all fit in one trip!!! RIP OFF! I do have to admit, they were very polite, but, geeze ~I ended up paying 2.5 times what I was quoted! Never again!

Worst move experience ever. I have moved about every 2-3 years and always used 2 men and a truck. I tried Here to There and learned to never try there services again. They charged the wrong credit card for me, then when I called them to get assistance the "operations manager" lectured me on my banking and finance habits. Once he was finished telling me that any issues I was experiencing were my own doing he hung up on me. NEVER USE THEM TO MOVE!!!!!!!!!!

We have used Here to There Movers for our last four moves. Each time they get better and better. Always hard working and very careful with our belongings. I always make sure to have bottled water available for the movers and tip well as to show my appreciation for them. We also make sure to have as much stuff ready to go upon their arrival (i.e. everything in boxes and placed in one room, drawers emptied...) as to make the process go smoother. I have reccomended them to family and friends who have also had a great service with them.

The movers were curteous and pretty careful. They were able to accommodate moving my fiance's apartment the same day, although they didn't do things quite in the order I hoped for. They did wrap all furniture carefully and very little was broken. They struggled with some of the staircases in our old Tudor home and were unable to get some of the furniture around corners, but this wasn't their fault. It was a long day, and by the end of the day they seemed to be too tired to move boxes to the proper rooms (labelled all over the boxes), instead just left them all in the dining room/living room. When I would say that a piece of furniture went to the 3rd floor or basement, they seemed to be hesitant. I agree with other reviews that they did answer their phones on your time, one even had a guest stop by my house for some reason. They also didn't bring any water or food for themselves. That being said, the move happened and it was reasonably priced.

Here to There movers did a terrible job. They showed up 2 hours late because the first driver took the top of the truck off going under a bridge. Once they finally arrived they were slow, uncoordinated as a team, and seemed to have no idea how to move things or even stretchwrap furniture. Then they broke a marble top table. It was a horrible experience. And the customer service, especially the Cincinnati manager Anthony, was bad - they were rude and unapologetic. They tried to throw the Groupon in my face and use that as a reason to make me feel like I was somehow getting a deal despite all of the issues. Don't use them!

Terrible customer service. Will never refer or use this company ever again. Spoke with Travis in the Fort Wayne office and I felt like from the very beginning he was defensive and not trying to understand where I came from. I searched for hours calling different moving companies and I wish I would have went with one that was a little more expensive. Long story short, Here to There never came out to my mother's house to look into the size/# of items she has. Entered in the wrong home square footage. Needed to add a 3rd man to the move. AND still did not put all items in the moving truck. Cost my mother extra money and another day of moving bc of the lack of communication. The worst part is trying to explain this to Travis and not even getting a hint of empathy on where I was coming from. Don't use this company, pay extra for people who will come out to your house and estimate costs and who wont' screw you over after they take your money. I've referred this company to several family/friends and will no longer be doing that bc of the bad service. In response to that response we were NEVER OFFERED a free estimate nor I was ever aware that was even an option. My mother has not moved homes in over 10 years, how was she suppose to know that this was an option if it was never explained. Still speaking with corporate office and I still stand by my word that this was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had and will go out of my way to make sure friends/family never use your company. And if you record your calls please feel free to listen how the manager of your Fort Wayne office handled my call. Very unprofessional.

Lowest possible review. The owner fails to take responsibility for any mistake he or his company makes. He is extremely rude, condescending and egotistical. Most small business owners take pride in how the service they provide instead of making every excuse not to right their wrongs. It is clear from many of the reviews written that the same issues tend to arise when working with Here to There. Poor service, rude interactions and lack of responsibility then mistakes are made. Save yourself the headache and avoid working with this company.

Here to there movers was there when I needed them. I was in the process of closing on a home and had to be out of my apartment. Here to There Movers, moved me out of my apartment into a storage on Tuesday, then turned right around four days later and moved my things out of storage into my new home. The guys were so nice and very courteous! I sure hope not to have to move any time soon, (as it is a pain), but I will recommend Here to There to my friends and family. Extra added bonus, I found a Groupon where I got $200 worth of moving services for $99. Saved myself $100 bucks! Thank you Here to There Movers!

DO NOT USE. Terrible experience. They broke my bed, demolished a shelf, left boxes in the garage and living room instead of moving them to the labeled room, dinged walls and furniture, charged $500 more than the estimate I was quoted, and refused to move a plant I was assured they would move. One guy was very rough with my stuff, dropped a lot of things, and complained the whole time. I finally (after two weeks) emptied every container and I am missing a box with vintage purses in it. I called and emailed customer service and I have had no response.

DO NOT use Here to There Movers. We have been professionally moved 3 times, Here to There was the last and by far the worst. I had the team leader call me the day before our move letting me know that they would be there between 8-9am. Great! We were ready! At 9:15 I had to call, mind you there was zero communication from Here to there movers, and I let the gentleman on the phone know that we had been expecting them between 8-9, and no one had shown up. He was very courteous and said he would call me back and let me know what was going on. He called back and said that the team leader would be calling me asap with an update on the plan. No one called me back. I called again, and talked to another gentleman, who told me that they had overbooked that day, and that the team leader was no longer working for the company. He said that a team from Indianapolis was en route to the Fort Wayne facility to take over our move. They didn’t show up until 11am. When they did show up, the gentleman in charge immediately let me know that they did not have time for us that day, that they had 3 other moving jobs to do that day. I told them that it wasn’t my responsibility for over booking, and that we needed to be moved that day. Then he told me that they had time for either the house OR the garage, which we had been using as a storage until. Again, I told them that ALL had to go. I had to fight to get my house moved. Ridiculous. I finally called my husband, who was at work, to come home and help me manage the move. My husband had to leave work, come home and argue with the head guy. The gentleman told my husband that he would only move things from the truck into the garage of the new house. My husband told him he didn’t hire Here to There Movers to place our entire lives in the new garage, but to move us into the new home. He finally agreed after insisting on a big tip for getting done what we hired him to do. Basically extortion. The move proceeded and throughout the day, the same gentleman came to us telling us what he could not do. My husband ended up doing much of the move with the men, missing work, and hurting his back in the process. This was such a disappointing and expensive mistake, using Here to There Movers. They were extremely rough with our things, there are gouges out of heirloom wood furniture, and a broken desk. I CLEARLY labeled each room and each box, yet tons of heavy boxes were in the wrong rooms, wrong floors, etc. What a disaster. In conclusion, do not hire Here to There Movers. Hire a bunch of random teenagers for a quarter of the price, and it will be managed better. Zero communication, zero respect for our things, zero support from management. Zero stars.

I have used 3 other moving companies over the past 17 years. This was the most unprofessional moving company I have ever seen in my life. They went way over the estimate , they took several breaks and charged me for them, The move was less then a mile apart. The general manager was very rude and would not let me speak to the owner. The furniture was damaged in the move. My carpets were badly stained by the dirty shoes of the movers. This was a nightmare experience. I will never use this company and I strongly suggest everyone does their homework on this company.

I loved the service that I received! The two men immediately introduced themselves with a handshake, small chit-chat, then asked for a tour of what I was moving. As a single woman, I felt very comfortable with the two gentlemen that helped me. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely use them again!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY...ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I wish I could leave 0 stars. They don't deserve 1! The younger guys were great, but the manager with them moved intentionally slow. When the truck was finally loaded, they drove 40 mph on 465 all the way from Lawrence to Plainfield! Then, to wrap up their 2 hours worth of moving, they intentionally left a single piece of furniture on the truck, while they took 25 minutes to put away their tools and fold up their moving blankets, which caused us to bust on time. So, they proceeded to charge us an additional $60. When we refused to pay the up charge, they threatened to charge the credit card on file. An hour later, my wife called to get a refund for shotty service, and the manager that answered (Jim) proceeded to yell at her "you listen to ME, or I WILL hang up". The really sad thing is that I bought their service to help my mother in law (with a heart condition) move her into her new home, and they stiffed us to move 95% of her remaining belongings! What a JOKE! Do not EVEN waste your time OR energy with Here to There Movers! Spend the extra money and go with Two Guys and a Truck...I only hear good things about them. I wish I would have. Moved our company offices this weekend. Mike the manager was very responsive to calls and scheduling. His team was short staffed due to no shows and short one truck due to mechanical issues but Mike led his team through the move and worked into the night to see it through completion. If I was the owner I would have personally came out and helped as the short staffed crew was exhausted but all owners out here aren't savages, I get it ... The crew deserves a massive kudos. Thanks for the help. Enjoyed the time together, would recommend. And will use again as this move was to a temporary spot until our offices are done in a few months. Cheers.
