Here is the email I sent after using A-Line Movers: Roy and Maria: I think it is very important that I send you this email about our moving experience with A-Line Movers yesterday. First off, the three men that were tasked with moving us were the most polite, nice, and over all pleasant people I could have wished for. I would never have expected them to be so courteous during the move. On multiply occasions they went out of their way to say hello to some of the people around. They also left everything exactly the way they found it. It was an amazing example of professionalism. Second, they worked their tails off. I know one of the movers commented on how simple our job was going to be once they saw all of the furniture and boxes needed to be moved. I would have assumed they would have taken it easy at that point, which was not the case at all. Lastly, at the second location in the move we had to move a bed out of the truck and switch it with another one inside the house. Your employees took a few moments to set up the new bed for us! I was blown away by how considerate that was of them. If anyone in our apartment complex or in the area needs moving I will 100% recommend A-Line Movers. Thank you so much again.

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT....I repeat DO NOT go with this company. They are a total rip off. I booked this company for a move in June. I told the lady exactly what I was moving and she quoted me a 3 man job at 150.00 an hour. First off she left out the fact that they start charging immediately after they leave their facility and don’t stop charging you until they return to the door of the company! Complete BS. The movers arrived to my home and the first thing I noticed was the small truck. I already knew from then that this experience would not be a good one. It took these 3 men 3 hours to break down 2 beds and move some boxes a couch washer & dryer and a bedroom set. Not to mention they had the help of me my mom & my boyfriend! We had hauled 3 cars full of stuff because the truck would not fit everything! They moved slow took breaks and complained the whole time! They didnt wrap my couch dresser washer dyer or tv stand! One guys sweat rubbed all on my couch. When they finally finished which was 6 hours later I was out of 900.00 bucks with only half of my belongings and I felt like we worked just as hard. Everyone I told my story to suggested I complain to the owners but after reading all the negative reviews why waste my time or energy! I just sucked it up and decided to leave a review to warn others dont even bother with this company. They are trash! The movers were fake nice tho but BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one star is for the old gentleman whom almost broke his back to make sure the move was a success. As for this company I selected them based on their previous reviews. It appears they have people writing the good reviews for them because I did not receive the excellent service they claimed to give. My family was doing a corporate long distance move, and against the relocation specialist advice we selected A-line movers not appointed by relocation assistance. Big mistake!! If you are not worried about how well your items are packed, how your items are handled, and whether your items might come up missing, then this is your company. I was scheduled to get packed on a Friday and to load on a Saturday but without my knowledge the men began aggressively packing and loading my belongings. The televisions were wrapped only with a blanket. The remotes were left behind only to be thrown in a blanket with cords. They forgot to pack 4 boxes of my belongings and I had to do it myself. They broke the back of my grill instead of waiting until my neighbor cut the chain. My expensive frames weren't wrapped but placed in the box with my linen. Storage bins were broken, screws and items missing etc. When my items were delivered the men didn't want to go upstairs and instead dropped items off in the garage and downstairs living room. I had to ask several times to move items to their correct room. Many got left without even trying. End table broke, $300 desk broke, TV broke. And to top it off they wanted me to unpack all wardrobe boxes so they can REUSE them. YUCK!! Contamination at it's best. When I called to file complaint Monday morning, Maria called me a liar and told me I signed for everything so it holds up in court. I had to tell her the driver came in my house BEFORE unloading and told me he needed me to sign that they have arrived. My 18yr old daughter is my witness. It's been almost 2weeks and I an still waiting on a call back from the owner. Thank God for my lawyer friends because we will be taking them to court. I also notified my national relocation company who has placed them on red flag when doing company moves. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS. THEY ARE NICE UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY.

I had sort of an emergency situation, I had to have a company move me late in the afternoon. I called several companies and nobody would help me. The only one that would help me with my move was A-Line. They were great to work with, showed up when I requested did the job quickly. First, I would not recommend this company. They showed up late, and charged me for an hour to get my home when MapQuest clearly stated it took only 25 minutes. they told me one worker called in sick. I explained that this home would require at least three men. They didn't have enough boxes, they didn't have adequate supplies. They didn't send a large enough truck. Halfway through the move we had to call and beg for another truck to finish the job. It took 10 hours. It was a complete and total rip off! . When I tried to rectify this with the owner's wife, she was very rude and unprofessional. The only thing good was the two workers were very nice and kind.

Thieves. These guys had a terrible attitude and were very rude to my wife. We moved last June and I'm still missing a jersey and hat of the same team. How nice of them to offer free wardrobe boxes to use for my closet. They also took a car seat.

If I could give more stars I would. I had kind of a particular situation where I couldn't get into my new home right away but I had to be out of my old one. Since I only had three days in between I was in panic not knowing what to do. A-Line helped me with it, they moved me and kept my furniture for three days and didn't charge me for storage. I would recommend them to anyone great people to work with.

when you are moving cross country like I did this time to Florida, it is very hard to try and pick a company to move you because you just have no idea what kind of service you will receive. But I can honestly say I don't regret hiring these people. From the guys that moved me to the office staff they are great. Took a lot of stress off of me. Thank you great job!!!

I have been moved by professional movers 5 times in the last 5 years, and the move with A-Line was the worst of the five. A move of a 3 bedroom 2400sf house with basement where we had already moved all of the art, lamps, electronics, and other fragile things ourselves, and where we were only moving 4 blocks, with 2 trucks and 5 men ended up taking 10 hours. Add in the hour charged for to and from the facility and we ended up being billed for 3 hours of overtime work that from our observations was largely due to how the team was managed. One of the 5 men was brand new that day and didn't seem to know what he was doing nor contribute much to the overall process. There was no real sense of organization to either their unpacking or their packing process. There was an hour or more in the middle when nothing seemed to be happening and 45 minutes at the end when we were paying premium rates for one guy to assemble a bed frame while the others sat in the truck. We even were charged overtime rates while we started the insurance process on the list of damaged things below. They also wasted time trying to take large items out of the house whole rather than measure and disassemble when it was obvious it wasn't going to work. Our sectional was shoved out the door when all they had to do was take the feet off it. In total they broke a drawer in a china cabinet, scratched the top of the dining table, splintered the leg off a wood chair, dropped our armoire into a door of a house that was no longer ours, tore a new king mattress, and put nicks in a few other wood furniture pieces. Now a few months later we've found that one of our packed boxes just dissapeared. What's worse is that as these things happened they didn't even acknowledge them. They argued that the drawer was already broken, they hid the chair, it was up to us to watch their every move to make sure that they were handling things in a proper fashion and catch things as they happen. A-Lines tucks say that they are experts in handling large and complicated pieces of furniture. Based on my experience, there has to be someone out there better for the job.
