I was blown away by the efficiency - super fast and careful. They arrived at 8am, packed up 2nd floor 1 bedroom in 75 minutes! Drove to 45 minutes to my new apt, and were done at 11:30am!!! I used Moovers for a move from a studio apartment in the city. I got a courtesy call 30 minutes before they arrived, they worked very fast, were careful with my belongings, took apart my bed and put it back together in the new place. There was an issue with my keys at the new place requiring us to wait about 30 minutes for a new set. During this time they were very understanding and they brought all my belongings from the truck to the door to further expedite the process once the keys did arrive. The price was very reasonable and came in under estimate. No belongings damaged. Would definitely recommend.

Moovers was one of three companies I asked for a quote. I accepted their quote, not because it was the lowest, but because it was exceptionally clear what we would get and how the move would be priced. We were not really prepared for how good this crew was. Milton, Gabriel and Abner surveyed the scene, got to work without any chit-chat and proceeded to move our stuff with an efficiency that can best be described as orchestrated. Our 56 boxes were in the truck in 20 minutes, and the whole move was finished in 3 hours, exactly as had been estimated, and considerably under the estimated cost. Watching them work was a wondrous experience. Each man stacked 5 or 6 boxes on a tump line and then carried them down two flights of stairs and out to the truck. Furniture was moved with a great deal of care and competence, so that when we assessed our stuff in the new place, everything was present and undamaged. If we had to move again, these are the people we would call.

They ran into terrible traffic due to a parade in the neighborhood yet were still upbeat and timely. We had hired Moovers Chicago back in July when moving to our new apartment. We had a lot of boxes as well as large heavy items including planters which we were nervous about being too heavy or causing damage to our old/new place. All of our worries were put at ease when Carlos, Sebastion, and Francisco arrived to complete our move! They took such care in wrapping everything and moving it in and out on our hardwood floors! Nothing was damaged or scuffed and their communication was great! Throughout the whole process they were asking us where we wanted things and making sure everything was where it needed to be and we were all set before leaving. They were extremely friendly, professional, and very quick! Bringing all of our items up three flights of stairs in no time at all. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Edgar, Lino, Francisco did an excellent job! They were very fast, friendly professional and I will use them again in a heart beat. My move was NOT easy with four flights of stairs in an old downtown building on a hot day. They took care with the fragile items and not one thing broke. They did a good job putting the right boxes in the right rooms and moved anything we needed to put somewhere else. The other awesome thing they did without me asking is organizing the items in my large storage unit. As a single female its important to me to feel safe and i absolutely did with these guys. They are very responsive and were on time. HUGE thank you!!

Our crew Edgar, Lino, and Miguel communicated well before and during the move, were very punctual and hardworking, and most of all SO CAREFUL with our belongings. I’m a fine furnituremaker so I really care about my stuff, and these superstars had no trouble navigating the narrow stairs in our vintage building without a single scratch. They came straight from a difficult move the same morning, and powered through another four hours with us. They knew how to expertly and quickly wrap furniture, lift an insanely heavy dresser, and use packing tape in a million creative ways. We severely underestimated the immense labor involved with our move. We failed to report multiple large, heavy items, and thought our cabinets and closets were much less stuffed. Daniel was fantastic! They shrink wrapped all of my items and made sure they were secure during the move. I had to move out fast and unexpectedly. I had a 3 man team and they helped pack all of dishes, clothes (kept them on hangers as I wanted) and even helped unpack everything at my new place all in the same day. ( I moved from WickerPark to Lincoln Park) Literally moved out and completely moved in to my new place in one day with his help! I would highly recommend this crew if you need to move out in a jiffy and you have no one to help you pack up everything (would have taken me days if I did it alone). AMAZING customer service from the get-go. We were moving out of a garden unit to a 3rd floor unit and they finished in 2 hours (!!!). It ended up being $150 less than what I was quoted, even after moving a few additional items I hadn't accounted for previously. Also, they have a Venmo option if you don't have cash on you, which helps you avoid the 4% processing fee for credit transactions. Highly recommend!

One of the best moving experiences ever. Mari in the office was so helpful getting us a quote, and scheduling our move. She was always quick to pick up any calls, and answer every question I had for her. The contract was so detailed, which made us feel prepared for everything. Edgar, Miguel, and Lionel were our awesome crew, and they did an AMAZING job. They moved everything so quickly and incredibly carefully, which was a real task, because we had some heavy furniture to get down our narrow third floor walk-up hallways. We had a 2 bedroom condo with and a very large storage unit. They wrapped everything, moved all of our stuff including our plants, and assembled our furniture without any damage. It was amazing how careful and fast they were!! The price was also much less than I had anticipated. Recently used Moovers Chicago and it was the best moving experience I've had. I've used movers five times in the last 10 years and this was great from the start to the end. What sealed the deal for me was that they had an "all-in" pricing that specifically included tape and plastic wrap in their hourly rate. I've learned from other movers that they all try to charge you the same per hour, but then they get you on a ton of other charges. Suddenly a $600 move turns into a $800+ move. I needed a very large wall unit to be moved just a few feet away from the wall so that my painter could get behind it. The two men arrived exactly on time and carefully moved the unit without scratching the wood floors! They were respectful and competent. They came back and moved it back when my painter finished. Nestor, Francisco and Yesi did a great, surprisingly quick job moving me out of a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. No complaints from them about the extra stairs, and no comments about the embarrassingly messy apartment I was moving out of which I hadn't finished cleaning. They were very quick, took apart and reassembled furniture which wouldn't fit easily, and got everything done on the early side of the estimated time (it was estimated at 3-4 hours, and they were done in exactly 3 hours). They also came prepared with additional boxes in case I hadn't finished packing everything up -- they weren't necessary, but it was good to know that was an option if needed! I highly recommend them!

Daniel and his team did a great job! This is my second time using them and they delivered! First of all Daniel is always pleasant to deal with and so was his team. They had to move me the first time in fresh fallen 8 inches of snow and they were more positive than I was! And this last time it was what felt like the coldest day of the year, and they were prompt and ready to go. They wrapped everything up so quickly so all my stuff was secured. They did an amazing job over all! Daniel also made it as easy as possible for me, and was very easy to reach. I'm a texter when it comes to communication and Daniel was very prompt in responding. I have recommended him and his team to two of my friends who said he did a good job as well. If I have to move again in a year, I know who I'll be calling!

These guys are absolutely the best! My whole life I've had this negative view of movers - when I was little my family had moved across the country and it was a nightmare for my parents. The movers stole valuables and broke stuff but my experience with Moovers completely transformed this view for me. They moved me from the Loop to Lincoln Park. This was the first time I had professional movers help me move. I was already wary of movers but these guys are true professionals. It was just me and my wiener dog but I had so much stuff and was seriously overwhelmed with all the upheaval. I'll never forget my first impression when they showed up in their gloves and knee-pads and dollies, it was like the 'Operation Get It Done' brigade and just such a relief. They were also so cool and self-reliant. My dog I think was more stressed than I was with the whole moving thing. The Moovers guys noticed and told me not to worry and to be with my dog and they'll handle everything else. And that they did, they worked fast but were careful and respectful of my stuff, especially with the fragile and the big items. They had this whole method of packing it into their big truck to get the most out the space and to make sure everything is secure so nothing breaks. My new place is a 3rd floor walk-up with no elevator, but for these guys, no problem, didn't even phase them. The team at Moovers is like a well-oiled machine - they're very serious about what they do and about doing it well. Of all the moving companies Moovers stood out because I loved their name but I in the end I really lucked out and found the best moovers in Chicago.

I've shopped around for movers for quite some time and decided to go with Moovers Chicago after reading all the positive reviews here on Yelp. Abner, Daniel, Nestor, and Gabriel did amazing job moving our apartment! The movers arrived right on time (8:00 am sharp) and packed all our furniture really quickly. Every single piece was covered with pads and wrapped. Nothing was damaged, which is remarkable considering that we had a lot of particle-board furniture. Some big items were quickly disassembled and then reassembled at our new place. The entire move ~ 40 miles away took just slightly over 3 hours. Completely stress free experience. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

The workers were left alone to wrap up the bedroom and found a $100 bill under the bed - and came up to me in another room to return it to me! PROMPT, ON TIME, & FAST! True professionals! REPUTABLE COMPANY: They communicated the costs and all information, and while I was prepared for fine print "gotcha's" - there were no "surprises"! The price paid was as quoted and very reasonable. WARM & FRIENDLY SMALL COMPANY: The woman I spoke to on the phone, who may have been the owner I believe, was incredible warm, friendly, and patient, and explained how their workers are long-time full-time employees, not contract workers. After our conversation, she followed-up with an email containing all the information, so everything was clearly communicated ahead of time. As far as cons, a negative or any downside - there is not one, zero not a single negative to their service or pricing. All the way around from the start through the end was a highly positive experience and above and beyond customer service. I highly recommend Moovers Chicago and wouldn't even consider any other company.

The reviews here and on Yelp seemed too good to be true and I was sceptical about the extent to which they were true. But boy! amazing is an understatement to describe them. The Moovers were awesome! I had my lease end-date fall awkwardly, where I had to move out of my old apartment before I could move into my new one. So I had to move twice in the matter of a couple days. Moving isn't fun, but these guys made it so easy. I can't say enough how pleased my wife and I were with our experience with Moovers Chicago. The crew is made up of real pros. They all seem really trustworthy, friendly, and they work extremely well and efficiently together--it's clear they have their working methods down. Our move was supposed to start early at 8:00am, and I arrived ten minutes before to find their crew already on scene. We had largely packed our own boxes (except for some last-minute stuff), though FYI they do offer to pack boxes for you for an additional fee. They wrapped every piece of furniture in moving pads and shrinkwrap, and even shrink-wrapped electronics and other loose items, just as part of their standard move (no extra fee). I've never seen another moving company come even close to the care they took, and this was all just included in the price. They also disassembled furniture that needed it and reassembled it in the new place. When we were all done, there was not one scratch on our furniture, one cracked dish, or any scrapes on the walls in either the old or new place. After moving I couldn't find my big heavy fragile 27" iMac, and then I realized why I hadn't seen it: they carefully wrapped it in one of our large wool blankets and then shrink-wrapped over it. No way this thing could've been damaged after that. We had a two bedroom condo to move with lots of books and papers, and tons of extra boxes and things in the basement. They estimated 6 hours of work all said and done, but I found out later that they build extra time into their estimates because they know people generally underestimate what they have--other companies will expect you to underestimate what you have too, but then they hold it against you and use it to justify charging well above their estimate. These guys estimated 6 hours, all four workers (I think it was Jose, Nestor, Gabriel, and Abner) busted their a**es for 4.5 hours, and in the end they charged us about $250 UNDER the estimate! Can't recommend them enough, go with these guys if you are moving within the Chicagoland area. FYI, they are a small, locally owned recent startup, so don't have many crews. Great news for you because the workers they have are obviously well-trained and dependable, but try to book in advance if you can since their schedule can fill up.

I hired Daniel and his team after calling 10+ other companies that were either booked or uninsured (many of the high rise buildings in downtown Chicago require movers to have/provide proof of insurance). After using Moovers Chicago, I realize I should have called them first and saved myself the trouble. Here's why: 1. Licensed & Insured: They're not only insured, they're professionally licensed by the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) as well as a member of the Illinois Movers' and Warehouse Mens' Association. You can't get better qualifications - Daniel and the two movers he brought (Gabriel and Luci) are all experienced movers - this is their business. 2. Prompt, Courteous & Professional: Daniel and his team showed up right on time, went over the estimates, confirmed what needed to moved, and got to work. We had some lead time where the freight elevator wasn't immediately available, but they started wrapping furniture and packing speed boxes in preparation for when the elevators would be ready to go. These guys work hard and don't waste time which is great - it's your time and your money. 3. Careful & Efficient: Care about your stuff? They do too. They had to move everything through a total of 3 freight elevators as well as several long (and sometimes narrow) hallways - it was no problem for these guys. Good use of equipment and careful handling meant no dropped boxes, scratched furniture, or broken items. It also means no need to worry about my building not refunding my move-in damage deposit. 4. Good Communication: Daniel provided all of the insurance documentation my building required (prior to the move date) and forwarded me the email for visibility. There were clear confirmation emails and he also texted the night before to confirm the move the next day. When they arrived the morning of, Daniel went through the paperwork and then made sure he understood what items I had and what needed to be moved. 5. Affordable: These guys are a professional moving company and their estimate was reasonable and comparable to other larger companies I'd called earlier. Our move went a little longer than anticipated because of our issues with elevator availability, but as many others have mentioned, there are no hidden fees or surprises. Their pricing is fair and straightforward - and, in my experience, well worth it given the quality of the service. Lastly, we had some Ikea table legs were left behind in their truck - Daniel found them and kindly offered to bring them back. Great service! Moving's always stressful but they make things as painless as possible. I would absolutely recommend hiring them and will be calling them for any future moves!

I've moved more than a dozen times, and this was by far the easiest and least painful of them all. Carlitos, Enrique, and Yesi were fast, efficient and careful. They estimated six hours, but did it in 3-1/2 and only charged for the time they worked. Highly recommend.

Thanks to Moovers Chicago my move went perfectly. the office provided quick communication and qoute. The three guys were courteous and super fast. I had 95% of my items in boxes so they were able to get the move completed quickly. I highly recommend them for your future move.
