I hired Elite Movers and Storage to help me load a rented truck I was driving for my move across states. The Elite Moving and Storage team did an amazing job in loading and arranging my belongings safely in the truck. I highly recommend their services. Before the move, the office staff was very responsive via email in providing a quote, answering questions, and provided all necessary information to prepare for the moving day. Office staff contacted me by phone a couple of days before the day of the move to confirm that everything was ready and provide information about the expected time of arrive of the moving team. The day of the move, Foreman Cruz and his crew arrived on-time, managed the move time efficiently, solved unexpected problems in a professional manner, and treated my belongings with care. The moving team loaded and organized the truck in a safe manner, and even provided additional tips to ensure that stuff did not move around during across the travels. As a result, none of my belongings broke during my move! An additional highlight was that Foreman Cruz was courteous and always asked for my opinion/approval in making key decisions that affected my move or my preferences. Foreman Cruz and his team provide an outstanding customer service. After the move, Elite Movers and Storage office staff reached out via phone to confirm that everything went well in my move, and to provide an opportunity to address any issue experienced during the move, as well as to provide feedback. We used Elite Moving & Storage for our move from Franklin Park to Albany Park and we had an amazing experience. When I called the office to request an estimate, I spoke with Danielle who explained very carefully what costs would be associated with the move, etc. She walked me through the process and gave me a quote and sent confirmation right away. I was really stressed out about the whole move and Elite made the process very easy. The crew showed up on time and did a quick walk through with us, and got right to work. They handled everything with extra care and they were fast, professional, and gentle with my items. They also did a fantastic job wrapping all the furniture up and unwrapping. They got the whole truck loaded in 3 hours, then drove to my new place location and got the whole place unloaded in a little over 2 hours. There were no unexpected fees or charges. Elite Moving was great to work with from start to finish and I would highly recommend their services to anyone! Thanks for a great move!

They sent a team of four because I was moving into a third story walkup where the only access is crazy winding stairs. We had a 16' moving van packed to the ceiling (cross country move, so it was our truck). They arrived early in the window in which they said they would arrive. They were so fast, and so professional. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

Worst moving experience with this company. They lost our boxes and never bothered to follow-up despite many requests to look into the lost box. The despatch team is extremely rude and they don’t want to take any accountability when you follow up with them. The packers were very unorganized and didn’t label the boxes appropriately. You’d think that being in the industry for however long they’ve been, they’ll have professional packers doing a solid job but unfortunately that’s not the case. They sound professional over the phone when it comes to providing quotes but eventually all of that disappears when it comes to executing and delivering your belongings. They want all the payments at once and on time, but they don’t want to commit to a delivery date other than giving you a wide date range which makes it difficult to plan, and of course zero accountability for the lost stuff. They’ll chose to randomly call you and text you last minute to let you know when the delivery is and then not deliver it on the said day. Also, if by any chance you missed a call from their despatch and when you don’t respond back within 5 mins of them calling because you’re busy, they’ll send you threatening messages about additional charges. Till today they don’t know where my belongings are because according to them it left their storage facility but somehow along the way they lost it and never got delivered. The driver also almost delivered someone else’s furniture. We had to tell him that it’s not ours and to take it back. This is the kind of ridiculousness you’ll be dealing with. If you value your peace of mind, lower heart rates and no stress, I would absolutely not recommend using any services from this company.

They only thing I would change is to make mandatory for houses over 3 bedrooms should have an employee figure out how big of a truck they will need. We had to get a second truck and it slowed us down a little.

I was hesitant about spending a pretty penny for moving service, BUT it is worth it. I am now sitting at my reassemble kitchen table with a house that just needs to be unpacked and it's only 12:30PM!! I will recommen Elite to anyone moving.

Read the good reviews on Google and decided to use Elite moving for my move. They booked our move with less than a two weeks’ notice, made the booking process and moving process so incredibly easy. Two movers showed up on time and worked diligently to get things done. Nothing was damaged and overall it was a good experience. They did a wonderful job with my furniture - they were friendly and worked quickly. They didn't stop for a second, and the price was reasonable and well worth the money! Great company and I would definitely hire them again.

I have used Elite moving in three different moves and have always been impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. This time was unfortunately disappointing. During the initial walkthrough, I asked the head mover to make sure that no boxes were loaded on top of the boxes marked FRAGILE. However, during the move, I had to repeatedly keep asking that to happen with him and the other movers. I only had 4 of approximately 25 boxes marked fragile. It should not have been that difficult to keep track of. On two occasions, I looked in the truck and saw that boxes were on top of the fragile ones. I told the head mover and he said that there is a method where they load the heavier boxes on the bottom. He then made a side chuckle as if to say, “we know what we are doing.” I basically gave up repeating myself in the moment. I figured it was a short truck ride to the storage unit and maybe the boxes would be okay. At one point, I asked the head mover to breakdown three bookshelves. He said it would be no problem, but when it came to the end of the move, he gave me a hard time about it, so I just said go ahead and take it as it is. I was just so tired of going back and forth with him. When we arrived at the storage facility before they began unloading, I again asked the head mover to have the fragile boxes be loaded on the top and that my bookshelves be moved in the front of the storage. (So, I could come back later and break the shelves down myself). He said, “Yes, ma’am.” However, again I had to continuously remind them not to put any boxes on top of the FOUR fragile boxes. At one point, one of the movers had my bookshelf upside down such that the top of it was scraping the asphalt—that was painful to watch. I will say that of the four movers, Junior was very responsive when I had a concern. On three occasions, he helped me communicate different things to the other movers such as don’t tie the tape around the cushions so tight, flip over the bookshelf to make it right side up, etc. I really appreciated his willingness to listen to the customer (ME) and that’s why this review is 3 stars instead of 2. I paid $600 for a job that took about 2 hours. I didn’t mind paying the fee, but in return I shouldn’t be left feeling unsatisfied with the overall process. Such a disappointment compared to my three previous moves with Elite. ***UPDATE*** I have since opened my fragile boxes and I must say nothing was broken. The only disappointment was that one of the movers broke a plastic connecter on my bed and rather than tell me, he just took the entire piece. If he could have taken the broken prongs that were left in the wood, he probably would have.

HORRIBLE! OVER A MONTH AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY BELONGINGS OR ABLE TO LIVE IN MY HOUSE! The manager wont respond to my emails or calls, and he was the one that organized this. Jessica never calls back when she says she will. STILL NO ANSWERS AS TO WHERE MY STUFF IS. They do not verify their subcontractors well enough. They were sending moving order to a guy acting like he was one of their other subcontractors...Do not chance it. I am going to have to file a stolen report and lose 41 years of my life and memories. It would have been easier to lose everything in a tornado.

We hired Elite Moving for a move from Chicago to Denver. Throughout the sales process, we were consistently told they own their fleet and employees. Their website also very clearly builds this impression. This was not the case. The delivery crew who arrived at our home told us a very different story. Further, they used the same inventory form we provided to their competitors. Their price came in low as they underestimated cubic feet. Their price ended up being higher than the other bids. Further, we ended up having to leave behind items. To make things worse, they damaged a leather sofa and dresser as they did not wrap them as promised. We are still awaiting a response from them regarding how they will make this right. Strongly recommend avoiding them. Also, be advised they are very likely a broker, not a moving company.

It took 6 hours to move a 1BR apartment so it was about double the estimate. While the crew worked hard, we were left with 10 car loads of small items they either wouldn’t take or because the elevator time expired. Other moves in Chicago, the crew were prepared to efficiently load the elevator each time - this team lacked the carts and dollies to get the job done quickly. The truck also lacked the lift gate promised in the quote summary.

Had terrible experience. The moving truck hit my neighbor's car. Defenitley not a good way to meet the neighbors. I was still charged for the full price ( even though they were talking to neighbor and police for part of it). The quote was significantly off from what we were charged (lots of hidden charges for "packing" even though we prepacked everything. They charge a crazy amount for tape and wrapping they did of one TV and dressers that I didnt realize you could get charged for them using tape on a dresser ? They did not inform or ask us if we wanted to use there tape for the one item we had plenty of tape". Took way longer then expected almost all day for 2 bedrooms worth of furniture, dining room (buffet and table), 1 couch and 2 chairs. Additionally they put a hole in my wall carrying the couch in and scratched the floors. The claim process is difficult as well and can not be done electronically yet they require pictures. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE ! You will be charged significantly more then quote. Would appreciate service recovery

Alejandro and his crew with Elite did an Amazing job helping us move 80 miles. Like a typical family, time got away from us and we still had more items to pack. The Elite crew helped pack our entire kitchen in about an hour. They were very careful with our possessions, taking time to add protection to every glass table and our dishes. Elite moving moved our 3 bedroom home. They gave me a quote online, which ended up being fairly accurate. The day before they called and sent an email to confirm move. The day of the move Foreman Cruz called us 30 min before the arrival. He was very professional and clear about their process. For example, we decided to put all garage items first onto truck, since garage was down alley and would be the last out of the truck. The workers worked diligently, wrapped all furniture carefully and they didn't take a break. Our 8 hour estimate ended up taking 7 hours-given the number of pieces I don't think they could have done it any faster. Nothing was broken or damaged. I highly recommend.

I have never been more impressed in my life. My move team (Cruz and crew) was absolutely fantastic! They were very professional, courteous, and took great care of my belongings AND house. They worked nonstop for 12 hours in the rain moving furniture, gym equipment, boxes, lamps, mirrors, etc. I am extremely grateful for their hard work. Amongst damaging some of our interior furniture (CB2, West Elm, Crate & Barrel), Elite Moving & Storage failed to wrap our outdoor furniture (even though their policy is to blanket wrap ALL furniture) - thus leaving dents and scratches all over our expensive mixed metal/wood furniture. Our stuff was mishandled several times (loading truck, unloading into storage, loading trailer, unloading) so our furniture certainly saw rough days. The insurance claim took over 6 months to get back to us. Unsatisfied with Elite Moving's inability to properly correct their wrongdoings, we went through arbitration (which is a scam, because it was their recommended arbitration company) which cost another $150. In the end, they only offered to give us $200 dollars - which isn't even enough to fix ONE piece of furniture they broke! Definitely disappointed in our experience with this company. DO NOT USE.

Elite Moving was excellent for my recent move. I moved myself last year and it was a day of nightmares and anxiety, and I'm glad to say that this year was the opposite. Ricky and his team arrived on time, were courteous, and after a short walkthrough got right to work. They crated my glass top tables and my TVs, got a few boxes from my on-site storage unit, and kept me in the loop the whole way. I had complete trust in them as I unloaded and took care of my cats, and they even put my bed back together. Francis was extremely communicative and honest, making sure I knew what I needed to do and answering all my questions. My move went better than I even thought it could and I already recommended Elite to two of my coworkers for their upcoming moves. They have the experience and the know-how to get the move done on time and on budget. Hopefully I won't be moving again for a few years, but I know who I will go with next time.
