I ordered a side of guac and the steak taco dinner. Guac was so fresh and delicious! For 5 bucks, you get a perfect amount. Not too much, but not too little. A lot of places get cheap with how much they give you in an order of guac. Steak was very good, and rice actually tasted seasoned. Beans, as well. Green salsa that came with the order was fire! Definitely my new Mexican spot in the neighborhood.

Really good Mexican food at good prices. Delivery is fast, hot and fresh. My favorite place for Chilaqueles. Try them with El Pastor(spicy pork) and fried eggs on top...DELICIOUS! Don't forget to get the fountain Tamarindo on ice. It's a very refreshing way to compliment your meal.

Customer service was terrible!!! I called for delivery. I was told my card was invalid and was not notified if the order went through. I was heading out to get food from another restaurant when unexpectedly a nice delivery guy arrived with the order and tried to be helpful. The person that took the order said that I should have called to check if the order went through. Maybe I should have, but it would have been nice to get a call back to notify me that my card went through and the order was on its way. Overall, I think the way she handled the order was very unprofessional. Foodwise, it was okay. So, if the food was okay and the service was bad, I definitely would not order from here and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

A very good Mexican restaurant on the Northwest Side. They have very good food. There ingredients are fresh. Very good chips and salsa. The people are nice here. It appears to be family owned. A lot of tables and they keep the place clean. I will continue to go here.

I ordered a burrito for pick up and asked for no sour cream. When I got the burrito there was extra sour cream. I called back to see if I could just pick up another burrito without sour cream and when I began to explain I could tell the person on the other end didn't understand. There was an obvious language barrier which I can understand but instead of trying to understand she just hung up and forwarded my calls about 4 or 5 times until she finally answered again and once I started re explaining she put the phone down and started helping another customer. I finally gave up. But with this being my first experience with this place I've decided to just order from tuxpan moving forward.

Don't be fooled by the tacky appearance of this place. I went there for the first time yesterday for lunch with a co-worker and the experience was very good. The food is delicious and the service was good. Prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely be going back

Don't get why this place has such great reviews. Its bellow standard, plain Mexican. We had the taco diner. Had pastor, chicken and steak tacos, bland no seasoning on the chicken or steak, pastor was greasy. Beans were under cooked and bland, rice had no particular flavor. Ordered also pico de gallo because their salsa was to spicy and it was supper bland as well, needed salt and more lemon juice. My husband got sick to his stomach half way through the meal and he does not haven't a sensitive stomach.

Decided to try this place as this is a local one I hadn't tried before. Ordered the usual steak tacos with rice and beans and large horchata I get at these places. First bite on these tacos and they tasted great. After a few more bites I started noticing a strong aftertaste that made me wary of eating more. I was offered a complimentary small plate of pozole during my meal as well and gave it a shot while i contemplated if i should continue with the tacos. Tasted fantastic on the first try. Then I decided to try some horchata to help wash down some of the food. This is when I noticed something was wrong, there was a weird aftertaste to this as well. Every gulp, I tasted seasoning. I've had some bad horchata but that was just because it wasn't made to my liking. Horchata never leaves a bad aftertaste no matter how crappy they make it. I asked for some water to see if maybe I was losing it or something. Nope. I noticed everything I tried was over seasoned. The steak on the tacos and the flavor on the pozole were horrendously over seasoned, causing me to have a strong aftertaste. Avoid this place if your tastebuds are intact. Come here if they aren't.

Love their big steak nachos, always order it and it comes with Guacamole on it, even better. Salsas are great, prefer the green salsa, but always get an order of chips and salsa to go. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Choice of pick-up; dine-in table service or delivery by GrubHub (haven't tried it). Plenty of seating. Double seat booths on the sides, quadruple size down the middle No counter seating. Sparsely furnished but clean with warm adobe orange-brown walls. A few paintings. TV in the corner. Family friendly, all ages come here. High chair in the corner. Friendly staff. Shy Stephanie very courteous, explained menu, brought take out over to me. Reasonable prices. They have everything on their menu that I enjoy. 1.5 pound chorizo burrito. Super Nachos. Ground beef
