Frankie Rosa.. Was best server
this was the best food and best service I have ever received. We found Chicago’s when looking for gluten free restaurants in the area (I have celiac’s disease so I can’t eat gluten) and we picked this place because they had gluten free deep dish (a childhood dream being filled). When we went to the restaurant the waiter sat us down and asked if anyone was gluten free and promptly brought out gluten free garlic bread on the house (it was like eating garlic-y pillows of goodness). After a long internal debate I ordered a gluten free pepperoni deep dish. YALL THIS WAS SO GOOD. My mouth was watering, my heart was full of cheesy goodness, and I ate so much pizza that we had to walk home. My family said that the gluten free crust was just as good as the regular! If I could give this restaurant 20 stars I would. Best service, best food, and I would travel from Texas back to Illinois for this pizza again.
Great tasting, good authentic Chicago style pizza and Great service. My kids love to go there to make their own mickey mouse pizza.
Ordered from them this past weekend and its pretty good. Their Deep Dish is pretty good. And they're fast. My order confirmation said it should be delivered by 1050pm and they arrived at 1030pm so its pretty fast deep dish pizza service.
Yummy pizza. The night manager/host was hot!
Pizzas were good. Bianca was my favorite of the bunch. However, lasagna of the day was even better. The best. Only downside: the waiting time even though we reserved, and the long waits between getting helped and the food served. But then again, it was dinner on Saturday.
This place is always nice and cares for their customers well. They have enjoyable gluten free options for each style of pizza, and gluten free bread upon request for an appetizer, so that you're not left out at the table. Always satisfied here, even when I come in late at night.
Gluten Free CHICAGO pizza! I'm from NY so I'm hard to impress when it comes to pizza. Hands down this place was delicious and cooked very well!
Very good pizza! I am also in love with their Avocado burger, and most appetizers. Highly recommended and open late.
Love it
Some of the worst pizza in Chicago.
Great pizza nice people
Gluten-free deep dish is unreal. Wish I could give them 5 stars more than once! Update: finally dined in. Their grilled calamari is such a deal. So much food for such a great price. AND THEY HAVE GF BREAD AS A FREE STARTER SO I COULD SOP BREAD IN OLIVE OIL AS I WAITED FOR MY FOOD LIKE A NORMAL PERSON! THIS IS HUGE! Also, "Death by Chocolate" cake....gluten free. I'll be back for you! Oh, and service was great. They knew just what we needed and when and didn't hover. A++.
Loved that they had a gluten free deep dish pizza. They cook/ prepare it in a dedicated surface. Amazing!
Yes, they have Gluten-free deep dish pizza, but that doesn't mean they use thick crust. They do it as thin crust, with high edges, as if done in a deep pan. Not what I expected, but still tasty. Nice staff. Clean atmosphere. Big selection of menu items.
Every time I go to Chicago and I want pizza, I go here. The pizza is good, they have friendly staff, and the price is affordable. They make gluten free pizza, even deep dish (I think).
We ordered online, it indicated that it would take an hour to be delivered. That's a long wait, but that's alright, we decided to wait. At an hour and a half we called and asked for the status of our pizza. We were told it would be another 5 minutes. We called back 20 minutes later wondering where our food was, and about that time the delivery guy finally showed up. After going down to pick up our food (because they apparently don't deliver to the room), we get it back and the pizza hasn't been cut (there's an option when you order online to have it "not cut", we didn't select that though). We've never had Chicago deep dish pizza and were excited to try it out... well we didn't have silverware either, so we literally tore this messy pizza and scooped up toppings with our hands. All in all, the pizza was OK, but the service was kind of terrible. 1 hour 50 minute wait time, didn't even slice the pizza, no silverware.
Refried chicken, didn't serve everything we ordered.
This little local pizza joint had the best deep dish pizza I’ve ever eaten! And GLUTEN FREE! None of the big chains I tried would do a gfree deep dish. I cannot tell you how happy I was to find this place. Everyone in my party agreed that it was the best pizza they’d ever eaten. Service was great as well, very friendly, very clean.
One of the best pizza places in Chicago. You may find excellent Gluten Free options, including amazing gorgeous pizza! Especially made for celiacs in a completely safe environment!
Excellent gluten free deep dish!
I'm gluten intolerant so I was glad to see such a great list of pizzas. Had the thin and it was great. Trying deep dish next time.
Very friendly! Excellent pizza! The gluten free deep dish was wonderful.
Stuffed pizza by the slice nd open late
Add in some vegan cheese options!!!
Best pizza place I visited in Chicago. I tried 4 places and this was the cheesiest :).
Service suck they say one price on web and is different what they charge said 45min delivery..and I got it 1hr 12min.. cold pizza and cold wings.. than you call and they credit $5 really that's all I am late to punch for lunch hungry and not eating your food cause I don't have a way to heat it up so $30 gone to trash...
Really good genuine Chicago pizza, it's extremely filling so order a lot less than you think you want.
Some of the best thin crust in Chicago, open late, by the slice, and punch card for a free sluce every 10.
We needed to feed a gluten free friend some deep dish. This is the only place we could find that had Chicago deep dish, that was glutem free. Not only did they have the pizza out quickly, but it tasted amazing for being gluten free. They also had gluten free garlic bread, which was a little dense, but still impressively delightful. We had Frankie as a server. He was attentive, respectful, and he let me borrow his phone charger. This place was A++ service.
First time eating in the restaurant but I've ordered delivery for about 15 years. Love their food. Service was awesome and food was fresh.
The food is fresh & good quality. I've stuck with the pizza each time and have not been disappointed. Pineapple, jalapeño & garlic. Nice light crust with a bit of chew, ample toppings & cheese. Poppers were so good too.
One of my 3 favorite pizza places in Chicago! Pizza is always superb, salads are always fresh, staff is very attentive (especially when I stop by at 1am to pick up a few slices!) and the restaurant is spotless with very clean bathrooms.
I have never been able to find a gluten free deep dish pizza - let alone gluten free calzone! I will not go ANYWHERE else anymore. If you’re gluten free, you have to come here!
Love the stuffed pizza. Always open and a great place to get traditional Chicago pizza!
GLUTEN FREE pizza.. soo yummy i had a deep dish gluten free pizza and shared it with my wife. It was so delicious she even agreed.
We had a great time here! Fun time for kiddos - they get to make their own Mickey Mouse pizza (the 3 year old I was with LOVED this!) Plus, I had a very tasty gluten free pizza, which is hard to find!
Food quality didn't meet the price they charged
We always go here when we go to Chicago. Best pizza and pasta ever!
Everyone has an opinion as to who has great pizza, and in my opinion, Chicago's definitely has a great pie. The crust is great, and the toppings help make the pie. Not overly cheesy like some places. Besides the pizza, they have fantastic burgers that you wouldn't expect from a pizza place.
The staff and location are superb. I couldn't eat any of the food because they aren't kosher, however they have a decent beer selection and my band really enjoyed playing the people spot out front.
Good old school Italian restaurant
Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I work in customer service and the way I was treated completely inappropriate. Ordered spaghetti and bread sticks. When I called asked if they delivered to hotel rooms. Was told yes. Delivery guy says no we don't. Keep in mind they had assess to get into the hotel and elevators. So went down and got it. Got up to the room no cutlery. Called the next day due to the time to let them be aware. Was pretty much told I was in the wrong and the employee was imcredibly disrespectful.Your delivering to a hotel room. I would think cutlery would be standard. Im not waiting 45 mins for a fork to eat cold spagetti. Dont tell me you delivery to rooms when you dont. Was told they would speak with the manager. NEVER HEARD BACK.
Overpriced, poorly made, 1/2 hour later than promised. Read an article that the gluten free pizza and garlic cheese bread was to die for. Not true. Bought the prosciutto and goat cheese "gourmet" pizza. The prosciutto was cooked to the consistency of shoe leather and tasted gamey. Overall, not a good experience.
SOOOOOO many options if you have are celiac or gluten allergy. Like I can order anything it's fantastic. The pizza and calzone pictured are gluten free. I think they make the dough in house because it doesn't have that generic gluten free pizza taste. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Service is great as well. Staff is super sweet.
Perfect place to have some delicious pizza's. Their pizza is unique from others. The place was good and the atmosphere was also cool . The staff was nice and the way the treat their customer was appreciable. Place for pizza lovers
Truly appreciated their attention to detail regarding patrons with gluten allergies. It was one of the first questions they asked we entered. My husband has Celiac and we were out visiting Chicago therefore had to try some deep dish! The pizza was great! We are accustomed to NY thin crust, but it was a nice change. They even had gluten free dessert! We had the rice pudding which was also very good! Our next trip out we will definitely be returning!
wanted to try ordering from here because I had heard good things from friends, but I was not impressed at all. plenty of other pizza spots and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon lol.
Great service and amazing food. Huge gluten free menu. I loved the gluten free deep dish and gluten free garlic cheese bread was amazing. I will defiantly be going back next time I am in town!
One of the best pizzas in chicago
A celiacs dream. Best gluten free pizza / deep dish pizza i have ever had.
Pizza here is a tad greasy but great taste. Open late for those midnight munchies too.
Amazing gluten free deep dish pizza. Tasty even if you aren't sensitive or celiac.
They have pizza by the slice for handtossed (thin crust), deep dish, and stuffed. The handtossed is pretty good, a bit thicker than New York style. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
Fun place for what it is with amazing gluten free pizza and bread! Also gluten free pasta options.
I’ve had their deep dish and their stuffed pizza multiple times and it hasn’t disappointed. I even tried the gluten free option and it was one of the best ones I’ve had.
Really good pizza!
It was very late, but they were open and made us fresh pizza. The cheese was the highest quality I've had on a pizza! It was very good and Chicago Style. Something I've always wanted to try!
Awesome food and gluten free options too
Fast and easy.
Gluten free items on menu. HOORAY!
Street parking, so paid parking. I ordered a thin crust pizza and it was good. It was ready on time, it was a pick order. You can dine in as well. The guy there was awesome
Quick service and good slices
Best gluten free pizza. The Chicago style is awesome
Went for the gluten free options. The cheesy garlic bread was this sort of flat bagel that was pretty disappointing. The deep dish pizza was also okay, but nothing special. Overall, it certainly earned the average score.
This is the absolute best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Amazing.
Wow what a tasty pizza for sure, they have a lot of toppings for sure as well. I enjoyed checking this place out with friends. Will be going back and trying different combination of toppings sometime soon but I can only have pizza so often in general and I need friends to help me eat it.
Started l out as a horrible experience turned out okay. Had our deep dish pepperoni pizza spilled on the table and the child sprite spilled on the child! However they apologized deeply and made it right. Food was pretty good especially the onion rings. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 was the wait and the fact I had pizza spilled all over and they asked if I wanted to keep it after it had been all over the table and her the waitresses hands. Really good food would come back if they promised not to spill food on us again Yours truly
Awesome!
Awesome deep dish pizza, get the stuffed crust its worth it!
I come here quite frequently and am always happy about the meal. Pizzas by the slice and a good selection of pastas. My favorite is the fettuccine a la judia which is probably clogging my arteries still. But so delicious and worth it. They're quick with service and on a Tuesday night never too crowded.
If you're gluten intolerant, go here!! They even have homemade gf rolls. Outstanding experience and would go back to Chicago JUST to eat here!
Honestly I didn't expect the stuffed pizza to be as good as it was! Excellent quality and tons of cheese! We had pepperoni, mushroom and jalepeño. I would recommend not getting onions or green peppers on your pizza because it tends to make the pie soggy.
This place had gluten free cheesy garlic bread and gluten free deep dish pizza that were delicious! The service was also excellent. Definitely recommend!
This place was off the hook on the service and quality of the food. Their specialty wings were killer, the potato appetizer was incredible, and the gluten free deep dish pizza was the best I have ever had. Please try this place, you will be glad you did!
We dont havebit in georgia
Great service on Christmas day
Chicago's Pizza is the only pizzeria in Chicago, that I know of, that sells gluten-free stuffed pizza. It is absolutely delicious, to-die-for, heavenly pizza. Lots of pizzerias now sell gluten free pizzas, but they are usually pre-made crusts and are flat... not a Chicago Pizza-type experience. I am so pleased to have found Chicago's Pizza. Everytime I visit Chicago, or Chicago friend visits me, I am sure to purchase a gluten-free stuffed pizza from Chicago's Pizza. FYI, they also can ship these pizzas to you!
The best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Didn't even miss the gluten!
The gluten free stuffed was actually very good. Staff was friendly and accommodating while I waited for the to go order. I parked at Whole Foods and grabbed a few other dinner supplies, and then walked over to grab the pizzas. Super easy. I'd recommend them!
Great place to have a quick lunch or dinner. Pizzas by the slice and all of them are delicious. Definitely a good restaurant to have delicious food.
THE WORST: I have ordered from here several times via Grubhub. ZERO of my info has changed. Same address, same phone number. I ordered a pizza tonight and waited 20 mins past delivery time (8:31 placed order and 9:57 I called). No pizza. I spoke with the manager Fernando and he was externally rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate of the lack of delivery. Refused to assist and hung up the phone said it “not his problem”. WORST EXPERIENCE from a restaurant I have ever received. Do you self a favor and order from somewhere else! They don’t deserve the business of a hard working dollar!!!
Oh wow..maybe that is a traditional deep dish pizza and I just really don't like deep dish pizza. Dough crumbled everywhere, the cheese had almost no taste to it, the ingredients tasted very plain and straight out of a can. We went there one night when it was pretty empty and ordered and deep dish gluten free vegetarian pizza and a stuffed crust gluten free vegetarian pizza both must have been 10 meals in one, but not very good ones.
They serve actual gluten free deep dish pizza!
I can say with confidence that I've never been here. How am I being tagged places I've never been before?
Gluten free deep dish (and anything else)! This place really knows how to make a celiac feel safe. They have a dedicated area for gluten free pizzas and almost everything on the menu, including three styles of pizza can be gluten free. There are no commercially prepared crusts here, just perfect deep dish. Would come back here several times if I could.
Great place! The service was super friendly, and they had some of the best gluten free pizza we've had. It was quiet and relaxing even on Friday evening. Makes a nice walk after a Cubs game. Definitely recommend.
This is a must have stop for Chicago. They have an extensive menu, and they can make gluten free on everything it seems. Vesuvio potatoes appetizer was wonderful. Very attentive and aware of gluten free. Deep dish pizza was wonderful with a buttery crust. They are obviously cooking all dishes and all can be adjusted.
They started cutting their slices smaller and smaller and smaller whyyyy!!! Ugh quit being stingy chicagos!
Great staff! Wonderful pizza! Very knowledgeable about celiac!!! I feel safe eating here will definitely be back when I’m in town !!!
Great, classic Chicago pizza place. Their deep dish is comparable to maybe Giordano's and there isn't anything special about it but it's still very good. Their thin crust in the best I've had in Chicago I think. Very cheesy and the crust isn't too thin yet it's still kind of flaky and easy to eat. Very consistent in regards to delivery times and ease of placing your order too which is ideal at 3am when all you want is a pizza in front of your face.
This is the only place I know for Gluten Free Deep Dish. I love this place
Nice place, friendly staff. Family's especially liked the extensive gluten free options. Couldn't come to Chicago without getting Chicago style pizza, and the GF options let the whole family enjoy.
We had so much fun my family and I definitely coming back to this place we love the pizza
I have celiac disease and have not had a stuffed Chicago style deep dish pizza in 7 years since I was diagnosed, I didnt even know it existed (or if it did, could be any good). I was so excited once I looked up reviews and decided to give them a try. I got the gluten free stuffed deep dish and an order of gluten free cheesy garlic bread. I am so excited to have found this!!! It was delicious, couldn’t even tell it was gluten free, and I did not have any reactions to it! Thank you!!!
Best Pizza crust in Chicago. They use Semolina Flour to make it. The only pizza that I eat whole crust.
Sausage and mushroom thin crust pizza. Tasted good. Staff polite & friendly.
Wonderful, friendly service and gluten free made in a separate area! Delicious too!
Great pizza
Gluten free deep dish pizza!
Great food I would go there again nice atmosphere
One of the best meals I have ever had. Simply impeccable. Good service, fast, and well worth the money!
Awesome stuffed pizza. Open late, so perfect for after the bar close. Sandwiches are solid, too
Stopped in for a late night slice since we were a bit peckish after a show at the theatre, and was happy to find this place. Very friendly and accommodating gentleman behind the counter served us, stuffed pizza slice really hit the spot.
Awesome food even better customer service
Haven't had made from scratch gluten free pizza in ....um..never!! Was so good, can't wait to go back. Loved that when we walked in the host immediately asked if anyone in our party would be eating GF...so brought out some GF bread for me to snack on!
Ordered a gluten free spinach pizza for my wife last night and was given the wrong pizza. Not gluten free and not the toppings I asked for. Not cool.
Pretty good food, I eat gluten free and they had many options but I ended up with a major stomach ache after we ate so be cautious!
Gluten Free Chicago style Deep Dish! I went specifically for GF and was amazed at the friendly service and helpful suggestions that made my GF Pizza experience phenominal! They brought me fresh, still warm GF bread sticks for the table. The Pizza it's self was amazing! Still GF but not nearly as dense as I thought it would be, being that it's Deep Dish. The gentleman who was taking care of me even allowed me to leave my pizza there in the fridge so I wouldnt have to carry it with me through Lincoln Park Zoo! Such a great experience and quality food.
GF DEEP DISH SOOOOO GOOD THANK YOU.
The food was fantastic!
The best pizza ever
First time I come to chicago. My kids were wanting to try the local pizza and these folks do it right!
Our annual trip to Chicago involves an annual trip to a different Chicago style pizza place…this year my wife’s sensibility wanting gluten free options won out which brought us to Chicago’s Pizza (The Lakeview location.) There are lots of gluten-free options including bread, calzones, pizza (of all depths) all made from their house-made gluten free-dough. For gluten-full me I had two kinds of deep dish pizza to choose from…One is their stuffed crust (“what we’re famous for” our waiter said) which has an extra layer on the bottom with cheese in it. They also have a more traditional Chicago deep dish pizza and the crusts and sauces for both are different. It was Memorial day Monday and we were the only people in the restaurant. They took good care of us. I got their house extra crust/cheese pizza which very much looked like a traditional Chicago Deep Dish. The taste of the crust though wasn’t the classic buttery crust you’d get on the traditional deep dish…more like thick bread which isn’t usually what I’m going for on pizza of any kind. The sauce was super good though! My wife thought the gluten-free was satisfying for what it was, though it had been so long since she had had a deep dish pizza that she couldn’t quite compare to the real thing. She did think the bottom of the crust in the middle was a little mushy but kudos to them for home making gluten-free dough and providing a legitimate experience to those with that diet, as opposed to so many restaurants that use frozen gluten-free dough. The small pizzas, by the way, are actually quite large. It was way more than us little people could eat. (Especially getting 2, one gluten free and one regular.) In the end I would have preferred the standard Deep Dish with the butter crust as that’s really what Chicago is all about whereas the stuffed crust is a little gimmicky and doesn’t offer anything special.
The best food, workers and customer service been coming here for 20 years plus
Like 10 of the people at my school eat tgere everyday after school. It's amazing. This place is family friendly which fits the neighborhood, and it also just makes some really good food.
They have the best Fettuccine Alfredo I have EVER had
Incredible gluten free deep dish pizza. We got one pie because I didn't want too much leftover but I loved it as much as my celiac wife did. Good prices too, normal for a Chicago pizza but only a couple of additional dollars for gf. Serving staff was awesome too. She was both knowledgeable and fun.
Excellent service staff, particularly the Irish lass. Good chicago-style food that isn't a tourist trap.
We wanted to try authentic Chicago-style pizza, and when we saw they had gluten-free stuffed deep dish available we couldn't pass up the opportunity (I have an allergy to wheat and my daughter is celiac). They did not disappoint. It was fabulous! The servers were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great experience! My husband had the regular (wheat) stuffed pizza and loved his as well.
Their gluten free pizza taste like a gluten loaded pizza. Must try when in Chicago area.
Absolutely amazing. I have Celiac and they showed a deep understanding of gluten allergies and took great care to prevent cross contamination. If you're gluten free and craving pizza - this is the absolute best choice.
Decided to stop in for lunch and I'm glad I did! Sliced pizza was already cooked and waiting in a heating oven so I tried the cheese pizza, cut into big slices, and a can of Diet Coke. The pizza was delicious and was given a glass with ice for drink. Service was very nice. Perfect when you only have a half hour for lunch.
Gluten free options tasted amazing and the pizza was delicious. Their desserts were awesome too and the kids loved it too. We'll eat here when we visit Chicago again.
Open late and tastes great.
Great food, great service beautiful atmosphere
Loved the service. Great place for Celiac's
Great place. Many gluten free choices including deep dish and chicago stuffed. Less than 1 mile to Wrigley.
Again Chicago's Pizza is one of the best pizzas you can ever call and have their sauce is just amazing you have to get those mini burgers they are really good there their salads one of my favorites is a chef salad the anti pasta salad was also fantastic
Music too loud.Pizza good and services.
Amazing pizza! I am celiac and was able to have my first deep dish pizza. They brought gf bread to the table when we came in and it was hot, fluffy and delicious. Very helpful and well worth the trip.
Good pizza !!! Great late hrs
Good goog super good
This was our first stop when we got to the city. The stuffed pizza is out of this world!
Excellent
Great service. Deep dish was pretty good. Lots of gluten free options.
Gf deep dish is unheard of and it was stellar here. Pizza was off the chain. My wife is from NY and she loved it here.
A great place for people like me who are Gluten-Free. Their food is amazing, and its not too crowded.
Specialty pizza is VERY good. I had the gluten free crust and it was really tasty. This is the only place I've heard of that makes gluten-free deep dish and although I haven't tried it yet myself, I hear great things and can't wait to give it a try. Staff is very friendly.
Great spinach pizza. Best stuffed spinach in the city.
After seeing and ignoring this place's fliers on my doorknob for years, I went as a guest to a first birthday party. My wife and I were both impressed with the pizza and have ordered it a few times delivered since with great results. Delicious and fast. Our new go-to pizza place.
Good food at this neighborhood restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
The poorest customer service ever. Especially from a guy that calls himself Raheem. Literally the worst individual ever...
Best Gluten Free menu for pizza I have ever seen! Includes GF stuffed and Deep Dish, GF calzones as well as GF breads! And it’s really good!
How anyone couldnt love deep dish pizza is beyond me. This place has great food, but not so great prices. But I will be back, and you should too
The GF pizza is so tasteful
Delicious pizza! Stuffed or thin are the best. Come here and try them out. Staff is very nice and they will take care of you. Very clean and spacious. Great salads and pasta if you prefer. Will be back again.
Great gluten free crust for those with an allergy.
