I have only GREAT things to say! The quote I was given was exceptional, I was contacted on time by the movers. They arrived on time and moved very quickly, I was very impressed seeing that I had very heavy items such as fish tanks. The guys made the move a very fun, and smooth one. All three gentlemen were very respectful and very hard working. They took care of my items, they wrapped all of my furniture pieces as well as my fragile ones. At the new location they placed every item exactly where I directed them. Super affordable and easy to book! The day of my move, I never got a call and had to send them my receipt (thankfully I still had it). Basically my move got lost in the system but the guy that I spoke with on the phone was very professional and handled it well. I was supposed to have the crew come around 3 but they sent out a crew around 5pm, after they got done with their previous job. They called ahead, showed up on time, packed furniture and loaded boxes quickly into their truck, unloaded everything at the new location, and then went on their way. Super professional guys and took precautions to ensure big furniture pieces wouldn’t get damaged. Would recommend and use again!

Great experience. Was moving from Atlanta to Houston, and had a tight schedule where I needed my things picked up at a date/time, and dropped off in a certain amount of time. I looked into a couple of national companies, but they always had a variable schedule for pickup and drop off. This company packed up all my stuff the day before, picked it up the next morning, and had it in Houston the next day. Steve and Allen worked their butts off, as you can see from the sweat in the picture, and did a fantastic job. Really happy with my experience.

Julian and Zak called me about 30-45 before they arrived and informed me when they were going to be arriving at my apartment. Once they got there they hit the ground running packing up my very disorganized apartment in little to no time with no complaints at all. After everything was said and done even though exhausted from the heat they still continued to be very professional and accommodating to both me and my wife to make our move run nice and smooth. Great work, hard workers will use for future moves.

I moved on 8-17 and Georgia Home Movers made everything 10x easier. I requested and paid for 2 people but they sent a third at no additional charge to help expedite things. The 17' truck was included in the base cost and they do not charge extra for stairs - only per hour with a minimum based on what day it is. Ricky, Dalton, and Kahlem were my movers and were very respectful. Ricky explained the paperwork before they began and was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. The complete move was a little under the minimum 3 hours for a Saturday. This was a 1BR on the third floor moving to another 1BR on the third floor 20 miles away. None of my belongings were damaged and they plastic-wrapped anything they felt needed additional protection. The only blemish was a mark on the wall where my bed frame was leaned against, but I was very happy with the care taken overall.

Edit: The claim was placed under my husbands name Danny Nall. Original post: This is the worst experience with a moving company I have ever had. I have never had so many pieces of furniture broken during a move. We moved 2 months ago and still have not gotten a resolution on some of our broken items and at this point it appears the office is ignoring our phone calls. Do not use them unless you hate your furniture.

After extensive vetting of the best movers in town, and with the best price, our production company decided to use Georgia Home Movers as our moving company for an arduous process of clearing out one of our main shooting locations to move everything into a storage unit. They did an incredible job with no L&D to report and good attitudes along the way! Their supervisor, Kevin, was a gem: very organized, well-mannered, and skilled. Kevin and his team took care of each piece of furniture as if it were their own, even a piano. Kevin has experience of moving an entire piano store, so if you’re looking for a moving team to take care of special needs, they are the ones to do it! The rest of Kevin’s team had great attitudes and were evidently well-equipped with training as well. They were extremely careful about the order in which they put the furniture in the truck in order to make sure nothing was damaged. All-in-all, we will be using them again, and would recommend them to anyone, both for the price (no hidden costs) and professionalism.
