I’ve moved several times in the past. I’ve made the mistake of shopping for the cheapest deal I could find. It never seemed to work out well. This time after checking the reviews, I went with United American. Their price was average, but was thrilled with my sales representative Archie. He was very helpful, and did a thorough job. Everything went smoothly, and will absolutely recommend them to anyone. Thanks United American!

The movers were great and very respectful. I feel like the price was fair. They were super quick and careful with all my furniture. I would definitely use them again! Their customer service when setting up the appointment was super easy and they booked the move only 3 days prior. Everything was very clear on the charges and the team was a delight to work with. MOST RELIABLE COMPANY! Within a few days of calling multiple moving companies in search of a decent rate. United American Moving was the only company willing to travel out of state without charging an arm and a leg. Being that I had to move back up north within a short amount of time. The representative was able to set me up with a truck for that week. The movers literally arrived a day after my bus, with all items intact and positives attitudes in such short notice. I appreciate the customer service, definitely "money's worth" business.

I was moving from a three bedroom home to a two bedroom town house , and they were nice enough to garage all of the belongings that I needed! So impressed 5 star moving! I was dreading hiring movers from friends' past experiences of movers that were inexperienced and slow, and finding dings on walls or furniture itself. I strongly recommend this moving company because they were always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had plus their estimates were spot on. Working with them was very smooth and easy. They were quick in wrapping our furniture with blankets and moving wrap and very efficient in moving boxes and other items. They also helped with disassembling and reassembling lamps, dining table, fans, and bed frame. They were able to move everything from our one bedroom apt in within a little over 3 hours! This was our first time hiring movers and it was a huge success thanks to the company's efficient and effective team! Will strongly recommend them to our friends and family!

This company completely bait and switched me. It started with Grant telling me that he could move my 1 bedroom apartment for under $2000 (actually $1700 quote). After already giving a $650 deposit, Jordan was the first to bate and switch by telling me that the measurements of my storage unit was off (only by telephone, sight unseen) and my quote doubled to $3300 and he asked for an additional $750 deposit. He assured me that I would only pay for the cubic feet used though, so I went with that. Throughout these conversations with both Grant and Jordan, myself and my family consistently asked the following: “are the people picking up the ones who will be doing the driving and drop off” “will it be taken with other peoples shipments” and “will it be arriving the weekend following pickup as anticipated.” Both Grant and Jordan assured me that the people picking up would be the ones doing the driving and drop off, my shipment would not be with others, and it would be arriving the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday requested. Well moving day comes along and they don’t show up on the designated day, but rather call late in the day to say the backup date (the next day) would be pick up. Back up day comes and they are late again. When they finally show up it is a couple of middle men with a budget rental truck. They inform us of an extra charge because of walking an additional 75 ft (which was expected), but they also informed us that my shipment was going to a warehouse, would held there, then shipped with other items, and that it would take 14-21 business days (none of which was laid out in my contract). Because I needed my belongings to arrive by that designated weekend, we sent the movers away and are currently uhauling my belongings myself. In addition, I spoke with the supervisor Jaime after numerous unpleasant conversations with customer service. Although Jaime was kind, she would not refund my deposit. I am not an unreasonable person and asked for a partial refund, maybe of just the second deposit, due to the gross lack of communication and inaccuracy of the contract. Still, they would not refund my deposit. Now I am in the process of deciding on next steps to recover full are partial funds. Moral of the story, don’t use this company unless you want to give an arm and a leg more than anticipated.

They were courteous on the phone and gave me a very reasonable quote. The fast time frame to do the move that I needed was granted without any issues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!!!!!!! I have had really horrible experiences with other moving companies. Everything from guys being late, to not respecting and handling my furniture safely, to once quitting in the middle of a job BUT I did not go through that with them. They are very professional, they work constantly and in a timely manner and more importantly they keep their word, when they say they will do something they will do it. I was helping my friend move from Florida up to Tennessee and she honestly had no idea what to do. So we went on the hunt for moving companies and United American was on the top of our list. They had great customer service and were very understanding with all of my questions. We called and got a reasonable quote which helped us move forward with them. Let me first start by saying my husband wanted to do the entire move himself. After being settled in the new house, he looked over to me and said he would never move without United American Moving. We have quite a bit of stuff, but every member from their team persevered through the entire with us. I flew down and spoke with them and they were absolutely knowledgeable and helpful with all the "nuances" involved. I boxed up a labeled everything and in under week, everything arrived at my Mothers new place in PRISTINE shape and they even unloaded it to the appropriate room! We've had many movers over the years, but these guys were the best and most professional so far. The crew showed up on move day, and quickly assessed our situation and inspired a lot of confidence as he laid out the day's plan. The crew had a good attitude, worked quickly, and all the guys were helpful. I wasn't sure everything would fit on the truck but these guys must be great at Tetris because there was even room to spare at the end. We were about 75% packed when they showed up, and they filled in the gaps. We arrived safely at our destination and they unpacked and placed all the furniture. And nothing got damaged! The job was completed on time and on budget. Changing addresses is always stressful, but these guys at least made is easy.

This review is intended to help others with candor: I did not end up going with this company. However, I did really like my interaction with Charlie (the owner) and I will consider them for next time I move. My decision was based on 2 things: (1) the final price (fees included) was slightly higher than another company that had earned my trust better with a solid customer service call. (2) I had a very poor interaction with one of their representatives, who called too much, pushed too hard, and clearly did not understand how I was comparing rates. However, Charlie personally called and humbly sought to understand the situation. That’s what earns a customer’s trust. To clarify, I believe they are a broker, which is not always a bad thing. It makes sense for them to work with smaller vendors (truck and crew owners) around the country to fulfill a moving need at a reasonable price. They may have their own trucks too. I don’t know. What I do know is that this is a legitimate company, with an owner who cares, and a great option for our next move.

My move couldn’t have been easier, I’ve moved several times across the state of Texas and this is the first time I move out of state. I’m based in LA now but my move was made super easy with United American a company. I dislike the whole packing and unpacking deal but they literally made everything so fast, economical, and efficient for me to stay on track and my schedule. I didn’t have to make any more trips than I needed and everything arrived in great condition. And my quote was beyond reasonable since I was thinking of renting a truck, but having to not worry about what may happen on the road was a big decision for me as I tend to be scared of driving big vehicles. My grandparents were moving to a new place in Florida. We looked for a few weeks to find them the best price. Most quoted prices were high or did not help with the actual move. We found United American Moving on google and called them. So glad we did. These guys were amazing! They gave us the best quote for price and even would help with the move, being that my grandparents are older and cannot lift as well as they could. The guys showed up early, helped pack and were super friendly. They helped to unload and nothing was broken. Highly recommend!!

Last month I moved from Florida to NYC. I was shopping around for quotes when I came across this company. After receiving one of the best quotes I figured I’d give them a shot. There were no hidden fees which I was really surprised about. I’m 100% pleased with how they handled everything and I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone who has an upcoming move. Angie in Customer service was amazing & answered all my questions honestly. Tony was my moving coordinator and he was amazing as well. Everything was wrapped perfectly and there was no damage to any of things. If anyone is looking to move I’d strongly suggest that you give these guys a chance. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.

Day of the move, their movers (Victor #2, Victor, and Isidro) were incredibly kind and hardworking. Nothing broke, either. Would definitely recommend!

Would give a negative 5 if it were possible. It has been over 36 days since our stuff was picked up. And still not here. They quoted us $2700 and are charging us over $5800. They were supposed to have someone call us to verify the amount of stuff we had 48 hours prior to picking it up. It didn't happen. Archie is a scam artist in sales. Their customer service dodges phone calls and fail continually at getting back to us. NEVER CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY!

I will definitely recommend United American Moving for your moving needs! The crew was very helpful, easy to work with and very they showed up on time. They put items in their proper rooms unlike other companies I used in the past who would dump everything in the living room. It was easy to schedule a pick up time and their customer service was superb! Will definitely recommend to family and friends moving!
