The Roadrunner Moving and Storage crew were meticulous in how they did their job. You people saved my day. They packaged all my pieces of furniture and wrapped them in blankets and then taped them up. They also loaded them into their truck very gently. My hard-earned property had no damage when they reached my new office. They also had no dust on them, which was incredible! The journey took shorter than I had expected because they have one of the best drivers in town. If you are in the same line of duty as myself, you will need a company that is gentle on your property. Road runner moving and storage is a fantastic moving service in every way possible. When I first requested a quote, Bob responded quickly and had someone out to give us an estimate within the hour. Anthony and James did a fantastic packing and moving job. They had a 3 bedroom family house all packed and moved in 7 hours. The move took longer than expected (because of how much stuff we have) but Anthony and James remained professional and careful despite a long day. Would recommend this company to anyone moving/packing around the area.

I’m very critical when it comes to evaluating services I receive. Especially when moving, I have to supervise and stop men from playing catch with my boxes. Every time I move, I end up with a few broken items and many damaged. Paying for such poor service is definitely not worth it and it spoils moving into a new place! There is no way any of these other reviews are real. “Roger” contacted me after we had already selected a mover. He was pushy (called, emailed and texted til I responded). After telling him repeatedly I didn’t have time for his sales pitch, he got angry. So angry, he went on my business’ google page and put a bunch of terrible reviews. I made a reservation for my upcoming move with Road Runners and decided not to move forward on July 1st. I emailed Chris Anderson, Moving Coordinator and he responded within 24 hours. We all know moving is very stressful but I must say, Chris provided excellent customer service, support, and understanding from day one. He even responded late in the evening, when I booked the initial reservation back in June. He was very accommodating, met my father at their warehouse in Miami, and gave us reassurance our move will be taken care of. Roadrunner honored their cancellation process and I am happy to report I received my deposit within 3 days. Prospective customers make sure you give accurate account of all your inventory so you are not surprised, when the movers arrive. HORRIBLE!!!! Threw trash out in my neighbors yard, wouldn't put bed together, put clear tape on everything which ripped off paint, 8' ladder is missing, 9 broken wine glasses, broke carburetor on my pressure washer. On top of it had the nerve to ask for a tip!! Hidden fees!!! Absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

We got a Groupon of 6 hours of services with two movers and one truck. When I called to schedule the services, the employee was not aware of the offer and was trying to charge me full service. After explaining him several times that we have a offer for the services, he was trying to still charge me additional because his understanding was that the moving was going to take longer. They were trying to charge me for 2 hour travel time, and the property is 15 minutes or less from the moving point. I told him I read the small letters from the offer and they need to charge 1 hour minimum of travel but not two. I told him that I was going to pay if the time exceed the limit but my understanding was that if we pack everything in advance, there is no need to pay for the extra time and si only want help for the heavy lifting and transportation. At the end, he still try to charge me more than 400 extra of original offer payment of 344 because he said that the offer was 50% off and I still needed to pay additional. This was nowhere in the offer explanation. At this point, si decide to request reimbursement and to prevent a bad experience with the moving. A company that put offers and don’t know how to handle it or honor it can’t be trust.

I requested service with road runner being I got a promotion. Had to leave Florida to go to New Jersey. Pick up was fine. But the sub-contractor the company used was a disaster. I received boxes all damaged as if hey had been dropped to the ground. A can of paint opened inside a box which had been all damaged and shoes, curtains etc were damaged. Company was sent pictures and they didn’t get back to me. Calls are being forwarded. Will not recommend this company again.

My mom recommended me road runner moving and storage after finding the best moving company via Google because she had heard a lot about them. As I was already behind schedule I had to contact them immediately. They responded very fast and were there on time. They transported my items safely with no single damage. So I solicited bids for a move from KS to MD, and was contacted by Mitch with Road Runner, I did some research on the company prior to returning his call. He was very professional and detailed, I had to move quickly due to a job promotion and I ask two very specific questions, was he a broker and how long would it take to receive my item. He stated that his company was not a brokerage company and has over 40 trucks, and that it would take on 4-8 days for my belongings to be delivered. My contract was brokered to Ocean Moving and Storage also in Miami, and here I am 10 days later and the other moving company Ocean still can not tell me when my items will be delivered. Avoid Road Runner or at least Mitch because he provides misleading information that even the other company said was incorrect just to make the sell. Whenever I call Road Runner since I started my contract with them they can only refer me to Ocean Moving and Storage.

I would not recommend this company. My long distance move started out ok with my belingings being loaded into a truck. I was told that it would not be unloaded until it got to me in NY (that was a lie). My stuff was unloaded into their storage and then reloaded onto a truck from another company ( I was told that wouldn’t happen either). When I recieved my items, a lot of the the furniture was scratched, gauged , broken and pictures and mirrors broken as well. Dealing with the insurance co. Is a joke. They want all original receipts for all the damaged items, photos won’t suffice. There are so many damaged items and I do t have all the receipts so I am out of luck!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOU BELONINGS IN ONE PIECE!!!!!!! They will tell you what you want to hear and do something different. I was assured my belongings would not be unloaded. The company they subbed the job to sent two guys who showed up with no tools to put my furniture back together. THE WORST MOVERS EVER!

If I could rate it a zero I would. My family has moves a lot and this has been the worst move ever. Issues we had were lack of communication, over charging, delay of arrival, and most disappointing the majority of our items arrived damaged, broken or missing. When the movers arrived they had no help to unload so they used Craigslist to find anyone. The people who arrived had no experience and ended up damaging the walls of my new home. Getting ahold of anyone was very difficulty and the only answer I got was I just had to go online and file a claim. After I signed the contract I was no longer allowed to talk with the salesperson especially when issues started to arrive. Please don't let this happen to you.

The three men that got here to our residence have been very cooperative and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with their service. While my husband was in and out of meetings, the movers made me comfortable being by myself. They took the time to make sure all of our furnishings which was once on the whole glass or white had been packed efficiently so nothing would be damaged. Experience and customer service was horrendous. The sales manager lied to us about the nature of their services and how they handle the logistics of the move. The company advertised that one truck would pick up and deliver our items, not offloading and reloading causing higher chances of damages. They claim to not be a brokerage but they operate as such. They did the exact opposite. Our boxes arrived completely smashed, a month late. Over $6,000 in damage. Glass and furniture shattered. The movers dropped our china cabinet on our driveway. Two missing boxes that we still have not received. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Each time we tried to receive an update on our belongings that were over a month late, we were put on hold and given no answer. We lived in our new home for a month without our belongings. It really put a burden on our cross country move. Please be aware before choosing this company. It will save you many headaches.

This Moving Company is very unprofessional and anybody that’s saying anything positive about them is a lie! My delivery date was supposed to be 8/15 and i still haven’t received my furniture and belongings! I should of known they was gonna give me problems when they contract gave them a window for delivery between 9/30 to 10/30 mind you we still in August. What moving company needs 2 months to deliver your belongs but over the phone and thru email they told me next day delivery

My husband and I spent the last Christmas in our home in Orlando and Roadrunner was there for us to move our things down from Winter Park. It was a wonderful experience for us which cannot be forgotten for many years to come. Same goes with Route 66 Moving and Storage, same organization. As far as the staff goes they are friendly to work with. However, the 1 star is based on the fact that the Driver failed to transport my luggage with a lot of clothing and personal items and resulted in it not being delivered. After months of claiming that the driver still had the luggage with me and he was going to mail it to me or drive it back to me, the driver claimed that the luggage got lost/stolen from his truck. Worst experience I've ever had. I was told to leave certain items as is by the agent I booked with, he said the movers would take care of that, then I was charged hundreads of dollars by the movers for packing. I was told my things would arrive in about 4 days and it took three weeks. Then, half my furniture was broken. My dining room table and one of the chairs, TV stand, another kitchen table and an entire box of dishes were broken. Throughout the process I was told four different delivery dates and I had to call to get updates since they never got back to me like they said they would. This is a terrible company. Please save yourself and your stuff and use someone else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 2 missing boxes and $6,000 worth of damage to items once received. To this day, we still did not receive the missing items or compensation. As the moving company was unpacking a $2,000 china cabinet from the truck, it fell face first on our driveway and shattered in front of my eyes. Broken glass, wood, furniture, and kitchen ware. 30% of the boxes were busted open and damaged, showing clear signs of not handling with care, despite "fragile" signs written all over the boxes in bold lettering. We had vacuum-tight bags that were slashed open. Before the move day, the communication was unclear and the movers were more than 2 hours late to arrive. It took the movers over 8 hours to move a small townhome that was already packaged up in boxes. It also took over one month for the company to deliver our belongings. We were lied to throughout the sales process as well.

The sales person name Ivette will bs and get you hooked with a contract and deposit money. Next is the customers service Michele and the manager mike Miller. They will straight up bs and lies after lies. It takes about one month to move a one bedroom from Florida to Washington. They got my stuff for hostages until I wanted to get a lawyer to sued the owner. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME.

This company is not to be trusted. I was given an estimate of $3800, however once the truck was loaded I was advised that I owed another $1200. Unpon delivery I was charged another $75 to take the furniture upstairs. I contacted Arthur (the manager and sales person that arranged my move) and he promised to refund the $75, however a month later I have not received a check. They sent four movers to prepare and pack my items and only two to deliver and unpack. All boxes were left in my garage, even though the were all marked for, the delivery guys were in a hurry to leave because they stated that they had not eaten all day. They ask me to tell the company that there were four workers making the delivery, when there were only two. They felt that they should have been paid for two additional workers by the company. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! .

This company is terrible, the people that answer the phone are rude. We bought a Groupon from them and it said 4 hours of moving for the price of 2. They then turned around and said that 1 hour of that is travel time; to clarify meaning if they are coming from Boca they can charge you an hour from Boca to Miami. Do not use them and do not trust their groupon. When I call to speak to a supervisor all they can say is it is correct in our system.

Please read all terms and condition very careful before you sign a contract with them. My move was interstate long distance move. First of all they said they are real moving company and they own Trucks but they don't all the time. In my case they were 2nd level broker. They gave contract to another Broker and that broker gave contract to moving company call FULL CIRCLE. Since Road Runner don't give you all the details since there Job is to get the contract signed and get 1/3 of the money, during pick and delivery they charge me extra money. They will put you in a very bad condition where you have to pay them. Since you spent lot of time in packing your stuff and paid 1/3 of the amount it will be very hard decision for you to deny what they ask. I would not recommend this company specially when you are moving on your own expense (Not Employer Expense). Many instances of your move process you will feel cheated. You can move with them but read each and every line of the contract they offer you to sign.

This company is terrible, the people that answer the phone are rude. We bought a Groupon from them and it said 4 hours of moving for the price of 2. They then turned around and said that 1 hour of that is travel time; to clarify meaning if they are coming from Boca they can charge you an hour from Boca to Miami. Do not use them and do not trust their groupon. When I call to speak to a supervisor all they can say is it is correct in our system. Terrible Customer Service

We are extremely satisfied with the service that we received from Road Runner Moving and Storage Company. First, they are very affordable if you look at the fact that you will spend more money if you have to move your stuff all by yourself. They charge you an hourly fee so you know how much you will pay, given the traveling distance. Their crew also has the warmest hearts that we have come across so far. I recently moved from MS to TN. I called Road Runner and spoke to Chris Anderson and signed a contract with Road Runner about 3 weeks before the week I needed to move. He asked my the date I needed my things delivered in TN, I told him, he said “no problem.” I electronically signed a contract, paid my deposit and he said we were good to go. One day before the movers arrived I get a call from a woman to confirm fromI will be at home, I say yes. The next day two guys show up from a company called Energy Moving Systems. I’ve never heard of them and I sure as hell never hired them. I had to be out of my apartment the next day so I had no choice and let them take my belongings. I called RR and asked what was going on. A woman named Michelle informed me RR had no drivers in my area that week so they contracted someone else for my move. They literally didn’t feel like coming to move me so they passed me off to another company without my knowledge or permission. I looked at the reviews online for Energy Moving Systems and they were horrible. I see why! One of the men was super rude and abbrassive, it was so uncomfortable. I had a terrible experience with Energy Moving Systems and it all falls on Road Runner. I would have NEVER hired these other people on my own, if they didn’t want to move me they should have told me so I could have hired another company myself. I called the original rep, left him a VM and emailed him but he never responded. I do NOT recommend Road Runner Moving. When I spoke to Michelle and expressed my concerns she did not care at all, she sounded completely bored. It was bad business all the way around and extremely unprofessional. Stay far away!

My wife and I recently bought a new house in Dunedin, and we are very pleased that we went with Road Runner Moving and Storage. They really stepped up and gave us a great experience! Our new home is a long distance from where we previously lived and we were worried that our furniture might be damaged in the process but surprisingly, everything was delivered safely.
