It has been a 2 weeks since the move. I was hesitant to leave a review but I think it is needed. Giving 1 stars due to what happened on my experience. Started off great, the movers knew how to move efficiently and started on time. What went wrong and I think should have never happened on a customer's move is that in the middle of my move they went back to the warehouse and picked up another load of furniture to take to someone else. I was not informed of this by anyone, not dispatch and the mover said they had a small move but would not take long. I left my original town at 10 get to the destination at 2. Called and they still had not left the original town. 2 hours go by, I call again and they are in another city doing another move. I called dispatch they appologize saying that they should have told me upfront they said another hour and everything would be moved. 2 more hours and no one has shown up. After 4 and a half hours of sitting around waiting in an empty apartment with no furniture, the movers show up. It took them 2 hours to unload and it was at 830 when they finished. Dispatch said they would take a mere 100 bucks off. I was too tired to argue and felt bad for the movers. AND on top of that they broke my TV in which the claims process is ridiculous. Movers were great, office and lack of coordination was terrible. Also the Claims process now is so complicated that they are banking on you not filing the claim because of the process entails so many loopholes and paper work to fill out.

They quote one price for ‘good reviews and referrals’ and end up charging you $600 MORE and not even finishing the job!!!! I had to make 5 extra trips after they quit working to complete moving all of my stuff. I moved 2 years ago with a different company and they were capable of moving everything with one trip. These guys took 2 trips to carry the same amount (with a million cig breaks) and didn’t even complete the job! And I NEVER stated that I had 1000 cubes bc I don’t even know what that is. That was their response to my complaint. Pathetic. The person on the phone saw everything I had and told me it would be a flat rate for everything. Absolute rip off!!! Only use if you intend on paying a bunch more and dealing with rude swindlers.

Got a comparable quote just a little lower than the other movers so decided to go with them. Didn't realize they are brokers...NEVER, NEVER go with a broker. The moving guys came and said I was quoted way too low and said it would cost double what I was quoted and it was too late to get my deposit back. So by now if I found someone less expensive it would still cost me double because of losing my deposit. They sounded so caring over the phone but suck you in and then double their price when the arrive. That is just so dishonest to do this to people trying to afford to move.

When my husband called and set up the move everything sounded good. We were given all the information we needed and the rate was reasonable. The team came out to load the truck and they did not do a good job. We lost many items. When we opened the boxes with glasses that were labled FRAGILE in bold letters, the items were broken. 2 pictures were broken, our speaker system was missing, our marble table is now chipped and in bad condition just to give you an idea of the damage. There were other items that were missing also. We have been trying to get our claim honored but it has been 3 months and the promises made about reimbursing us for missing items have not been kept. Over all very disappointed in this service. However I must say that the gentlemen that moved us into our new home did a good job.

A great first moving experience. I was really worried about which company to use, do to all of the horror stories on T.V. James and Steve made me feel comfortable with every part of my move. James wasn't able to lower my pricing as low as some of the brokers out there however he was able to work with his supervisor Steve to come close. Moving Dudes earned every bit of these five stars with just being honest and professional. I went across 5 states without any damages to my furniture. Very impressive!!!!!!

They showed up on time, and carefully wrapped my belongings. My move was completed in the minimum amount of time from Afton, VA to Naugatuck, CT. Great pricing, no surprises...super honest, nice & hard working people.

don’t be tricked by these 5 star reviews, this is a terrible company. i understand delays happen with moving sometimes but i cannot comprehend the outright dishonesty and lack of communication and extremely poor customer service skills. on move in day my truck was supposed to be in ny but we were told it broke down in pennsylvania. the following day we were told it had never made it out of florida. yesterday it had only made it to north carolina and today it is still in virginia, 8 days late at this point despite the fact i even paid extra for a private truck to ensure timely delivery. if you click on the other reviews written by those who gave a 5 star rating for this, you will notice a lot of them have made multiple 5 star reviews of the same several moving and appliance companies over the last few months, i am not sure if they are getting paid or family members or what but they are most certainly not actual customers.

HORRIBLE company to deal with. They have snake oil sales man promising you the world when they want you to make your deposit. They deserve zero stars. They claimed to be better and different from other moving companies and that they care about the reviews their customers leave, yet, they don't keep their word. It is a systemic issue on how they prey on ripping people off, I contacted the owner Jason Price via LinkedIn to express my dissatisfaction with his staff back on Sept. 27th and it is now 11 October as of this review and have yet to hear anything from Mr. Price. They shouldn't even get 1 star, very frustrating when companies like this can rip people off and get away with it. The original estimator was Eric, a complete incompetent individual that has yet to return any of my calls or even speak to me, but he was my agent. At least Shawn had the courage and decency to "act" as if he cared about how I was getting screwed over. When Eric did our estimate, he went room by room with my wife over the phone, never in person. He knew it was a 2 story home with a full basement, 3 car garage & a large shed. He estimated the cost to be $5,100. I was told that they do not sell their moves and that their staff would come pick up my household goods and then they would store them at their warehouse in Florida and once ready for delivery to give them 48 hrs notice and they would bring it. Shawn told me that they usually estimate high and that it was possible I would be getting money back. Shawn suggested I Face time Eric so we can go room by room again all the way until 2 days before packing day. I called to set it up with Eric and he never returned my calls. I was also told that a semi-trailer would be picking up my stuff, he joked about calling it the Beast or something and said the entire staff was terrified of the owner and that is what should reassure me that they would do whatever it takes to make me happy and have a great experience. Fast-forward to moving day, It was not Moving Dudes who showed up to get my stuff, they had contracted it out to Allstate Movers (they promised they wouldn't pawn it off to another company), they showed up in a 26' truck (not the semi-trailer they promised), as soon as the driver walked my house he told me there was no way all my stuff would fit on the truck, that Moving Dudes had estimated my household goods to fit in half of a 26' truck. Again, a 3400 sq. ft. house 2 story, full basement, 3 car garage and large shed, and these incompetent idiots estimated cubic feet for half a 26' truck. I am no professional mover, but even I know that is ridiculous. To add insult to injury, the driver said that if I wanted them to take my stuff that the new price increased to almost $12K, more than half of what Moving Dudes quoted me. I called and spoke to Shawn and asked him to make it right, he had every excuse in the book and that they couldn't do anything. I reminded him that I made the deal with Moving Dudes not Allstate Movers, he kept promising he would see what he can do and that the price they were giving me would be the most I get charged. The movers ended up having to rent a 2nd 26' truck and didn't get done loading them until 4 am the next day. Upon completion, I was told that packing material was more than they had estimated and now the new total was closer to $14K dollars. I again contacted Moving Dudes to ask for help and to please do something. Storage would be in Atlanta. I am not made of money, I am not rich, they claimed to be pro-military and pro-Veteran and I believe because I am a Veteran they preyed on me to rip me off. How can they be so wrong to quote me $5,100 and I am having to end up paying almost $14,000 dollars and they have taken zero ownership in this fiasco. I am not sure how others give them good reviews, their disregard for the customer, their shady business practices and outright lies are out of control, yet they can continue to operate ripping people off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY, PAY A LITTLE MORE AND GO WITH A REAL MOVING COMPANY NOT THESE WANNA BE'S.

when I called this company they said that they would send my bags in 7 to 10 days. Unfortunately, I believed them and sent through them. A month later, they dropped the bags and one was lost. I was very nervous and called them all the time. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Give these guys a call for your moving needs. They are up front and honest about price and are willing to move around your furniture until it's where you want it. My movers were also gracious enough to do basic assembly, which saved my husband and I(who work) plenty of time. We are happy to recommend them to anyone in need of honest movers.

I hired Moving Dudes to move me from Deerfield Beach to Boca. These guys came as a reference from a friend of mine. He knows the owner so they sent out a guy named Jimmy to do the onsite. We had an amazing experience. They gave me a flat rate bid and held to it. Jimmy told me what was going to happen as far as on the day of the move. They were as efficient as I was told they would be. My crew was David and two other gentleman. I bought them pizza for lunch because they worked very very hard. Every piece of my furniture was handled with care. I already told my new neighbor about these guys. Definitely feel the service was first class. Thanks Guys!

It is difficult to even know where to begin in my review of the Moving Dudes. They were shockingly unreliable and their customer service was appalling. We signed a contract for a full service pack and cross country move of our three bedroom home and a car. The estimate ended in Cat FaceTiming to show me facilities and services including: their company trucks with logos and a well secured (in blankets and plastic wrap) couch, assuring me that they were professionals and they would take care of all our furniture in the exact same way. She also assured me that they were professional piano movers and that they would crate our piano. I signed this contract with confidence that I had hired professionals who were going to take good care of our belongings and make this move an easy experience. I could not have been more mistaken. Just a few of my complaints: -They showed up two whole days outside of the four day time window on our contract -Not a single person who showed up that day knew they were supposed to be packing for us. -Thus the driver showed up (in a truck with a completely different LLC on it) without any packing supplies and then was gone for over 4 hours getting said supplies from the Home Depot that was only 15 minutes down the street. -We paid $300 for our piano to be professionally crated. Not one of them knew how to wrap a couch they way Cat had assured me during the estimate, let alone crate a piano. -The workers carried untaped and unlabeled boxes out to the truck. My husband had to ask them not to load open boxes. -When I called to inform the office that the people who had shown up were anything but professional I was accused of being discriminatory. -I inquired several times about the details of our car being picked up and no one ever followed up with me about it. But what solidified their unprofessional manner and complete lack of responsibility and customer service is this: Late in the afternoon after having spent hours on the phone trying to get the Moving Dudes to hold up their end of the contract they were still giving us zero confidence that they were going to fulfill our contract and render the services we had paid for. The Executive Administrative Director, Heather, kept trying to use the contract to explain away my grievances. In an effort to make sure that I was not being completely unreasonable and misunderstanding this contract I had a lawyer look at it. He confirmed I was not being unreasonable in my expectations and he called back the direct number I had been given. She proceeded to spout the same lines of the contract to him. He asked her one simple question in response and SHE HUNG UP ON HIM. When he called back (twice) we got an automated response that her number was DISCONNECTED and could not be reached. He called one of the numbers on the contract and asked to be connected to the person who could resolve this nightmare. James was put on the line and before my lawyer could say anything James said “We are refunding the money. We are passing on this move.” My lawyer asked him his last name so he could know who he was talking to and James refused to give his last name. Again, an astonishing lack of professionalism. Afterwards I get an email from Heather that is a “receipt” of the refund (which has NOT actually been refunded, and it has been 3.5 weeks now) and an attempt to place responsibility of this fiasco on ME with an explanation of their efforts to “satisfy you beyond your agreement” and their “deep regret” that things had to take this turn. Nothing they did in any way shape or form went beyond our agreement in a positive way. She also expressed they had “no desire to communicate with you through your lawyer before rendering any services.” It was precisely because they had rendered no services that I was so frustrated and that a lawyer needed to be involved! They promised a professional move with a professional company and we got no such thing. I hope there is someone out there who will heed my warning, learn from my mistake and avoid the Moving Dudes LLC at all costs.

Unfortunately my experience was not so delightful. My sales person, who no longer works there, over promised the pick up day and drop off day. He said we would be loaded on a Thursday and dropped off on a Saturday. Jamie got the daunting task of telling me not only was Thursday not gonna happen, but neither was Friday and she could not tell me when we would get loaded. She could tell me that once we got loaded my stuff would be on a truck for 3-21 days. So I told her I need my $675 deposit back. Two days later I called to find out Jamie never submitted my refund request. Heather M stepped in for the refund. Accounting couldn't find the charge, then they could get the card to work and then she stopped updating me. Hasn’t returned any emails or phone calls. Now i’m Letting my credit card company get my money back. What a shame. I read all the good reviews and between Matt, Jamie and Heather it’s not been so delightful.

I moved with Moving Dudes on Friday, and could not have had a better experience. When initially reaching out to movers I was overwhelmed by the options, the cost, the EXTRA costs that could appear (travel fees, step charges etc) and a lot of places I reached out to didn't help with any of my concerns. Not the case here! I spoke with Heather on the phone that is very knowledgeable and so friendly and explained everything about how Moving Dudes operates. I gave my inventory information and I was given a great quote. No hourly nonsense and no extra surprises. The movers were MACHINES, absolute pros at every turn. The team of four that was helping were all so helpful and friendly. They helped pack what we couldn’t get around to, they dismantled my bed, they packed the furniture amazingly (it all made it to the other place in one piece. I even ended up with a few more boxes than I had anticipated, and it was no problem for these guys. They even bought up a bunch of spare boxes when I'd run out at no extra charge. I had a really, really positive experience, and would recommend to anyone. Thanks, Moving Dudes!

Where do I even begin... The Moving Dudes were supposed to pick up furniture from a house in Wisconsin and deliver it to a house in Florida. They were supposed to drop off the furniture on September 15, 2018. It is now October 29th, 2018 and the delivery has still not been made. Regardless of our patience, this moving company has been nothing but rude, dishonest, uncooperative, and just plain unprofessional. The same weekend of scheduled delivery, Hurricane Florence hit the Carolinas. This was the first excuse in the delay of the delivery process, and the unprofessional workers contacted us saying hurricane "Francine" was delaying them. Red flag #1. How can we trust a company that doesn't spell/fact check before sending out an email. Anyone that can use google maps can see that you don't drive through the Carolinas to get to FL from Wisconsin. Movers have a grace period for weather conditions, so they used that to their advantage even though it was not applicable to them. Every week starting after the original delivery date, they would tell us that the delivery will be made "next week". And every week, they would continue to use that excuse. They told us that they picked up the furniture, but put it in a storage unit until they could deliver. Red flag #2. Why did they pick up the furniture if they were not planning on delivering it right away? They could have just left it at the house of origin, but instead they held the furniture hostage so we could not hire another company. The person that is waiting for the furniture in FL has been living in a hotel for almost 2 months because you can't live in a house without furniture, so you can imagine how expensive that can get. We were told we would have our furniture "next week", so we figured a hotel for a week would be the cheapest and most flexible option. Yet here we are 6 weeks later. If they were just honest from the beginning that it would be a couple months before delivery, we could have planned around that and made alternate and cheaper accommodations. But this company has misled us and their dishonesty has costs is thousands of dollars. Many family members have booked flights to FL based on the delivery dates to help with move in, only to come to an empty house. What a waste of time and money on our end that could have easily been avoided had they been honest. On top of that, we have contacted multiple people from this organization, and not a single person was helpful or even considerate of how much they have affected us. They avoid our calls and emails and when they do respond, they are extremely rude and have made unprofessional comments. For example, over the phone we told them that the furniture recipient is in law school and we need the furniture asap. The response was "why don't you have the lawyer move the furniture himself then". I can't even fathom the level of indecency. They don't seem to have an sense of urgency to get the job done even though they have violated their contract and could be held legally. I honestly have never seen a moving company, let alone any business, behave so childishly and unprofessionally. This is the worst experience we've ever had with any business ever.

After being promised 4 times for multiple delivery dates, my boxes have finally arrived and I never have to deal with this shit company again. I caution anyone who wants to use this company to NOT. They cannot handle cross country moves. They promised me multiple deliveries, only to have lied about them and sent me on a wild goose chase to get my stuff delivered. I contacted Jason Price, the executive director who told me a month ago that my things would arrive in two weeks... only to stop responding to my emails and continuing to run an incompetent company. My things were delivered today. 3 months late. I contacted the better business bureau and the company responded saying my stuff would arrive within a week.. only for it to arrive in 10 days. The driver told me it is because no drivers wanted to take the route to get my stuff delivered to me. As far as I'm concerned.. the drivers shouldn't get a choice when it comes to this shit. When a customer pays for their stuff to be delivered, they should assign someone to deliver it. The company tried to blame me for it not being delivered saying I "never picked a date" when it fact, I had picked multiple delivery dates and they lied each time, saying it would be dispatched to me. The company also told me "well we gave you multiple months of free storage" like.. no fucking shit sherlocks? AS IF I was going to pay for storage that I didn't request in the first place. It was THER FAULT my stuff was even still in storage. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. The only person who was slightly helpful was Liz and she was a little rude sometimes but I am thankful for her, she communicated with me the most about my stuff. Do not use this company unless you want the possibility of never seeing your stuff again!

They just don't no that yet soon they will. Owner drives a brand new f- 350 pickup with big lift kit cuse he steals from his customers. P.S. So first of all they didn't show at their scheduled time. We had to leave before they got there. So we had to ask our neighbor to sign for us for we were not able to be there. Well they decided to count each piece of wood for our beds as a seperate item( which we were told several times that bed frames are one item). Though we were short 10 out of the 20 boxes we paid for they doubled our price and didn't call us til after the neighbor signed. So were stuck paying double for something we were assured would not happen so far no one is willing to work with us. Unless something changes I am sharing my experience with everyone I can!

Proceed at your own risk. Literally. Or at least the risk of your stuff. Moving Dudes of Deerfield Beach, FL claimed they would provide ‘white glove service’ on our move. We first spoke with Vernon who generated the quote and guaranteed us pickup on one of two dates. We have a newborn and almost 2 year old, so thought it would be best to pay someone else to do the packing. He told us it should be fine to go ahead and purchase our flights for the day after the potential pick up dates. Vernon was mysteriously unreachable as our move came closer (I have read through other reviews and noticed this seems to be a recurrent theme – reel the customer in, and once booked, you will no longer have any support or customer service from those in reservations despite all their promises of help and assistance every step of the way). Pick up was delayed by 4 days. To their credit, James did reimburse us for the flight change we had to push through so that someone could be there for the packing and loading. The driver that showed up, Darien, attempted to extort an additional $2300 ‘if the whole truck was filled’ despite the fact we were given a binding estimate by Vernon. The people that showed up to help with packing and loading did not appear to know what they were doing. They literally threw things into boxes and did not wrap items appropriately. They did not pack the truck correctly. They brought insufficient packing supplies and boxes. The driver showed up at the destination 5.5 hours late due to an issue at the weigh station with his logs. He had no one with him to help unload. That’s when I figured out they are hiring people directly off Craigslist without any appropriate screening. Just what you want packing/loading/unloading your things – people who have not even been adequately interviewed! An ad went up on the Savannah craigslist not long after he showed up, looking for moving help. James posted that ad with his number for contact. When I called Moving Dudes, Kat was very rude and unprofessional - she said, “I have no idea” when asked if I would get any moving help that day. She informed me that she was in reservations, not customer service. Unfortunately, both things tie together and are important for a company’s image. At this point, I decided to hire a local licensed, bonded and insured professional moving company to unload the items into my house. Liz offered a $300 credit for this, but it cost us $850. They came the next morning. Darien arrived but would not open the truck until the crew came as he was ‘afraid things would fall out’. Once the crew arrived, unloading began and it was a complete and utter fiasco. Computers, sewing machines, monitors, TVs, lamps, artwork were not wrapped or protected AT ALL. So far, one computer is damaged (fan no longer works from being tossed around on the truck while unprotected), lamps damaged, dishes broken, and numerous artwork frames are damaged. The crew that I hired myself to unload was not impressed by the packing job – they said the truck should not have been packed in that manner especially if we paid for white glove service. The icing on the cake? Darien was very rude to the crew I hired, and dumped plastic and tape into my recycle bin without even asking if it was ok before he left. We have moved long distance two other times without too much trouble. I guess, as they say, the third time is the charm. If you have been scammed by this moving company, I strongly urge you to report them to the USDOT and file a complaint with the BBB as well as a dispute with your credit card company. They are anything but professional and are not worth even calling once.

Mover dudes moved us from Sunrise to Winter Garden with 45 days in storage in between.I cannot stress enough how careful and methodical they handled our things on pick up and delivery.Andrew,Sam and Nate were an absolute pleasure and I would like to give a special shout out to Steve Ennis who set everything up and was always available when we needed him.I hope I never have to move again but would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to others.Good job guys !

This is not "Mover Dudes of VA" who have the true good reviews!! Moving Dudes, LLC even answered as "Mover Dudes." They get one star because our stuff did get here, eventually. Salesmen (Joseph, Eric) promised things and "educated" us on cross-country moves with promises & follow up calls. The contract did not reflect these promises, but they assured us that the legal language was required and actual practice was different. (I know - in our naivety, we trusted them.) After signing & the deposit, service went to the bottom. Every call was put off with "we'll check and call back," but they didn't - MANY times. Pickup "window" was for "Fri, Sat or Sun" and Steve called to say "we can't get there until WEDNESDAY..we'll knock off a few hundred for the inconvenience." They did not adjust the price and they did not even pickup--they hired an entirely different company to do it!! Tell us in advance that it will be 4 weeks to receive our stuff so we can pack accordingly - instead, they made it worse by promising 10 days! They waited until the final deadline of the contract to deliver our stuff and the damage done on delivery has never been addressed.Their excuse was that they "have grown like crazy lately and added new trucks." Salespeople blamed customer service who "couldn't keep up." Good companies don't blame or refer to contract language, fellas. If you want payment in money order, we need more than a 30-min. advance call from the driver, whose truck was literally marked by handwriting on the side! One of the movers said he was hired via Craigslist. DO NOT USE!!

I would give a 0 star if possible. Almost a month after my move and still waiting on all of my furniture to be delivered. Save yourself a lot of grief and find a different moving company. Missed my pick up date by 3 days and I almost lost the sale of my home. Never call to tell me that they were delayed. I had to call every single time. Worst customer service ever!! What arrived and required a full payment to get the truck unloaded looked like it went through the war. I was strong armed into signing off on the delivery even though a number of items were not delivered. Don't think this was on accident because the truck they showed up to deliver was filled to the brim. Now I have 4 dining chairs with no table, legs to a desk with no desk, mirror for a dresser with no dresser. Was told that it would be delivered the next week and of course it was not. Then coming on Monday, but the truck broke down. Not sure if this is even true as I have been lied to so many times now... Still waiting....

We have a couple of expensive custom made pieces of furniture that are extremely heavy, but they came through unscathed, and the crew took great care of them. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. My boyfriend and I were moving from Maryland to Richmond, we had a huge sectional, kitchen table and a few dressers. With both of our cars being small and knowing we had no real experience driving trucks ourselves we decided getting movers was the best option. After searching for a few days I decided to go off of a recommendation from a friend and thank goodness I did! I can not say enough nice things about the Mover Dudes. The price to move our pieces was extremely reasonable and the movers themselves were very politely and professional! Steve was our main mover. After he arrived he wrapped all of our items in blankets, carried them to his truck with the help of another mover Josh who was there for the first half, and did it all at an extremely fast pace even with some tricky stairs to deal with. By far the easiest move and I know it was because of the Mover Dudes!

DO NOT use this company! Their director of operations Steve is an absolute liar. His company is run by ConMan. They flat out did not show up at the scheduled pick up time and did not call us. It took over an hour of repeated attempts of calls to the company of being hung up on or left on hold just to find out what was going on. No one could give us an answer. They finally showed up the next day and only picked up half our stuff. They had to put the other half into storage and wait two weeks to get it delivered. When my wife asked Steve about this He fed a bunch a terrible lies and excuses. Steve got so frustrated when we called him out on it that he cussed at my wife and hung up the phone. Then finally when we got the last part of our delivery they do not show up until 10 PM Sunday night even though we asked them not to come till the next day. Terrible Company and awful management! Cannot express this enough do not use this company!

The only reason we chose them was because they quoted us much lower than the well-known companies. Expect them to add on about $2,000 once they arrive. They hire random people from craigslist to help...inside your home. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they only broke one small, cheap table and they got everything else to us safely and quickly. They actually do pretty good work, they'll just really make you mad throughout the process. I would not use them again.

SCAM!!! STAY AWAY.......they gave me the lowest quote to get my business ($1500) then the day of the move the driver tells me the Cubic feet on the estimate is too low and the actual is going to be double what the estimate says! I also payed for full packing since I did not want to pack 10 boxes full of stuff and ended up only getting 1 box packed so as to not go over the cubic feet and have to pay more. They basically charged me $350 just to pack one box for me!!!! They nickle and dime you with fees for stairs/having to go an extra 20 yards away from the house and by the end of the day the $1500 estimate turned into $3000!! Not very honest! Beware and stay away from these people!!!

They really deserve zero stars. Please save your time and money and avoid this company! I told my significant other to go with a trusted company we used before, but we went with the cheaper company and sadly we are still dealing with the aftermath. Mover Dudes promised to contact us 48 hours before the movers arrived, but they never reached out. We only found out the night before the movers arrived thanks to our due diligence in contacting them. They day they were supposed to show up we reached out, cause once again we didn't hear from Mover Dudes or One Way Van Lines, and they couldn't give us any exact time, even though we received an email that stating they would be at our place between 8-10 am. The problems started from there and everything they promised before the move were false advertising and a response I received to their terrible service was that they are busy. When the movers showed up, two didn't speak english and the third spoke broken english. They could barely communicate and introduced themselves by antagonizing my dogs and I asked them to politely leave them alone, but clearly they barely understood english and this caused a communication barrier. They blasted some Eastern European music without asking, stocked my fridge with their energy drinks and water without asking, and left the freezer open due to their energy drinks not properly placed. They chain smoked outside of my house (leaving an ashtray of cigarette butts in my driveway) and when I checked in with them, I could barely understand them and they came off as rude. They left my house a mess with tape and I had to clean it up myself. They lingered around after they finished and continued to chain smoke and make themselves feel at home. I tried to get them on the road as quick as possible and paid them and sadly tipped them (cause I was so worried about them messing with my stuff, but they didn't deserve any type of tip). They main guy who barely spoke English was on his blue tooth the whole time and was audible down the street. I tried to pay and sign stuff, just to get rid of them and they were about the leave without me signing anything. I reminded them about signing the inventory list. He never went over anything on the list, I just signed it to get them away from my house. It was a mistake, cause now I'm told the document that was never explained and I was rushed into signing stated I owed an extra $600, even though when I asked the guy that barely spoke english about cubic footage, he said we probably wouldn't owe any extra. They sent me a blackmail email the next day, sounding like something out of a Bruce Willis movie, that if I didn't pay the extra $600 my items wouldn't make it out of Baltimore. My significant other contacted Mover Dudes and the actual moving company One Way Van Lines. Both companies have continued to pass the buck and have had poor customer service and little to no follow-up. They say you get what you pay for and I regret every day that we went with this company. I'm taking the time to write this, so that you won't make the same mistake. Go with a trusted company that has great customer service and will care about the items they are shipping. We didn't save any money and have had to contact them on a daily basis with little to no response and it is aggravating and emotional draining. Please, please, please, listen to your gut or significant other swipe left on Mover Dudes.

They bait you in with EVERYTHING you want to hear, even put it in writing, but read 10 pages down and you will see it does not matter what YOU ARE THEY put in writing, in bold or not. They are the master manipulators of the moving companies in FLORIDA. I have every call, email , text and every page of paper work to prove it. Do not do business with Mover Dudes LLC (Moving Dudes). I PROMISE you, you will regret it. The 5 star reviews you are see are BOTS and/or made up. THEY ARE FAKE. Don't get me wrong my final delivery was amazing and the Gentleman and his son stayed until 2 am unloading in the rain. Even noted the damages on the BOL of some liquid that ruined 3 of my leather electric recliner couches that are now useless. Everything before that was HORRIBLE SERVICE. The truck was late, lie after lie. Truck they said the truck broke down and had to unloaded my belongings. BS found out later that was not the case someone quit on them and did not show up for work. Then they promised a dedicated truck and that never happened unless you consider 4 different trucks a dedicated truck. They were to deliver the very next day they lied and delivered a week later. After multiple calls and the Police showing up at their locked location with only a BUZZER on the door. Some kind of SHADY business here. The Police even said it happens all the time and their hands are tied. Bottom line is do not believe a word or promise they make to you. This was in March today I received my final letter back for the claim I submitted that took 5 months to final submit, with the various process they require. Now they tell me in order to get my $67 00 check I have to get the letter notarized to release them of all liabilities. What joke this was!

"STOP" before getting these people to move you. When you call, one of the things they tell you is when and if there is damage to your furniture they will pay you for the damages. One year and three days ago they moved me , I am still waiting for the amount of $100.00 for damages, which is less than what it will cost me to fix same. Also in one of my moves I was asked by Stephen, Eddie and Jeff to give them $200.00 dollars before they would move my furniture into the storage facility , as my other house was not going to be ready for another month, I am glad i did not use their storage facility, I probably would have had my furniture taken hostage for more than what I had already paid. My moves were 12/13/2017 and 1/13/18 AND I DID PUT IN A CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.

6 Weeks and no delivery... My belongings were picked up on 5/15. On 5/21, the driver abandoned my things in a storage unit in Virginia for over a month. Moving Dudes did not pick them up and deliver them. Instead, I had to pick them up and load, move, and unload everything myself. We where quoted one price by phone to move my belongings from storage into my house and when they came to deliver, they wanted more money and cash only. After speaking with the very rude "manager/owner" he stated that his invoice was correct and the quoted price was wrong. No point in trying to drive common sense on a manager that is rude and hangs up the phone on the customer and their employees. The manager would not bulge on a $109 price difference from the original quote nor was willing to work me me on a happy medium. After three more calls with him, he got worst and took my belongings back and wanted to still charge his more expensive fee but now additional fees because he was not able to deliver to me. This company is right now holding my belongings hostage and extorting more money for them. I have already started an small claims court proceeding and spoken to a lawyer. Too bad for the manager that a workable $109 price difference would turn into more costs for him in the long run. On the positive side, the driver and mover where very professional and understanding, too bad they work for a company with questionable non-consumer oriented business practices. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

They cancelled my cross country move, which I scheduled and paid a deposit for over a month ago, literally the day they were supposed to arrive "due to a scheduling conflict on our end" without any warning or attempting to reschedule (they asked "how flexible are you on dates?" But couldn't give me an answer on when they might actually show up). The house is packed and I have a new job to report to in less than a week. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Moving Dudes. I selected them because of the detailed information they asked for during the estimate process. Also the follow up calls and emails from the office were professional. It truly made me think the estimate Moving Dudes provided me was accurate and it was practically to the penny. On moving day the crew showed up on time, they even called first to say they were on their way. The guys were friendly, hardworking and so professional. Sam handled the paperwork and let us know what to expect. What stuck out the most to us was that after the move was complete the office did a follow up call. Sam was still at our house and the office wanted to make sure that the move had gone well, and wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied before the team of guys left the house. That really impressed us that they made sure we were satisfied and happy with our service. I never had another company do that.

My 85 year old grandmother is currently using them to move from Panama City beach to Texas but their things were supposed to arrive on the 26th of January. Can't say enough about these guys. My wife and I have a house in Deerfield Beach that we spend the winter every year at. This year we bought new furniture from Restoration Hardware and called Mover Dudes to pick up our belongings from the warehouse and deliver to us. They did a great Job. Bennie, Josh and Stephen did great. They paid close attention to the furniture and our walls in our home. They came with booties that covered there shoes on our floors. They were in uniform and very polite. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them.

After getting the FBI involved we found our stuff in an unpaid storage unit not a mile from where they picked it up. Shawn quoted me and told me since it’s a flat rate any extra boxes wouldn’t be an extra charge, he told me not to worry about any extra charges . well an hour into the job one of the movers told me that there will be extra charges and that he did not know how much so I started to worry because they told me not to worry they also where stressing if their boss would pay them for any additional time worked after stressing and making phone calls they said don’t worry no extra charges if only it ended there. The three movers were upset that I called the boss and told them that they were worried if they were going to get paid and it looks like they got upset about it but I called so an hour more into the job the movers start addressing me as anus and all 3 laughing at me I felt bullied at this point I ended up crying I was already stressed out about the move, about the price changing and now being Bullied. Also the guy started becoming wreckless and broke my blinds. I gave them all 20 dollar tips because I was worried they would destroy my furniture. I even called and asked for 3 other guys but they didn’t have any. Professional movers are supposed to be professional and they ended up putting the furniture in the wrong rooms. Don’t come to this company it’s a waste of money and time.

I recently moved and used Moving Dudes and I was beyond impressed with the way that Kyle and his workers handled my move. They took great care in wrapping all my furniture and even assisted me in wrapping and protecting my artwork that I was going to move myself for fear of getting damaged by the movers. Not only did they wrap and protect my artwork they also transported it in their truck and not a single scratch. None of my items were broken or missing, they worked nonstop and they didn't want to stop for lunch. My move was two households and then put in a storage facility. Edit: It's been 3 months and the damage claim still hasn't been settled. Since then, this company's BBB rating has dropped to a C+ and they are not accredited. Moving Dudes’ customer service is terrible! Their sales reps are dishonest and their communication is practically non-existent. They'll treat you with respect until you sign a contract. I called them to move my belongings across the country based on their glowing reviews. Shawn was the sales rep I spoke with and he insisted he did not need an itemized list to provide a quote because I had previous quotes from other moving companies that estimated the cubic feet. He worked with me on my budget, but when the movers showed up, they were mad and treated me poorly because the items I had did not match their itemized list. They tried charging me extra for every item that wasn't on the list. I eventually reached a compromise with the manager, Steve. But that took several hours during which the movers were yelling at me over the phone and trying to strong arm me into paying thousands of dollars more. I had also asked them for the cubic feet of my items. I have my items separated for two deliveries: storage and home. I told Shawn that I needed to know the cubic feet of the items going into storage so I knew what size storage unit to get. He said that would be no problem but never communicated that to the movers. Because of all of the stress from this ordeal, I forgot to personally ask the movers. I called Steve afterwards to ask if he could find out for me. He said he would find out and call me back. He never did. In fact, I had to call him a 3 times because he kept not returning my calls. When I finally got a call that my items were being loaded for transit, I asked again if they could tell me the cubic ft of my items going into storage. The gal I was speaking with made a call to the loaders and was told no. They refused to give the cubic ft of my items and they were not clear on their reasoning, but instead said it's my own responsibility to find my own storage unit – Which is fairly obvious, since I wasn’t asking them to find me a storage unit. I was asking them to provide information that they already had about my items. During this discussion, she kept interrupting me and refusing to answer my questions. When I asked her not to interrupt me so I could explain why none of this made sense to me, she hung up on me. Come to find out, the reason why they were not able to give me the cubic ft of the load going into storage was that they did not separate it as I requested with the sales rep. On October 30, my husband gets a call that they are in town ready to deliver our stuff. We make arrangements for the next day. They tell us the dimensions of their truck and the space they need to unload, and we tell them we can accommodate. When they arrived, we found out that they have a side loading truck which was never communicated. We live downtown San Diego, and space is very limited. So, we wasted most of the morning trying to find space for them to unload the truck near our place. Ultimately, we had to pay extra to get a UHAUL. When we finally got to the unloading stage, I found all of our belongings smashed together. There was no care taken when our valuables were loaded onto the truck. I have pictures of every single box, tote, and item that was damaged. Every box looked like it had been rolled down a hill. My husband and I both witnessed one of the movers using our boxes as a step stool to reach other boxes that were out of reach. After going through every item delivered, we found we had almost $3000 worth of damaged items and 14 missing boxes/totes. It took calling them almost every day for over a week before they finally explained to us how to start a claim with their insurance company. Their insurance company’s claim process is very cumbersome, and if you have a long list of damages, they require you to make all claim submission via the US Postal Service. Moving Dudes and their insurance company are both uncooperative when it comes to locating our missing items.

This is the Third time we are using Moving Dudes. We have moved both locally and long distance with this company. The last move we could not have asked for a nicer crew to take care of our move. The guys were courteous and professional and worked very efficiently to pack everything. Nothing was broken and I still can't believe everything was loaded onto the truck in such a timely fashion. Max the estimator who came to my home did a great job and was very professional, advising us of how to the move would take place. They covered all of my furniture, packed all of my dishes and loaded the truck. Not one thing was broken. It took 5 hours which to move me which I personally thought it was going to take longer. So I was super pleased. Everyone was very polite, I have a dog and they made sure the dog was never close to the door in fear that he would run out. Very cautious guys. Cant say enough. I wish I could give them negative stars. We had a three day window and were told that they’d let us know closer to move time. The first day no one had called and no one returned my messages until I emailed asking if we needed to find another option. I was told they’d be at my home the next day. They didn’t show, didn’t call. The last day I called them and had to try multiple numbers to get someone to answer. They told me they were trying to get ahold of the drivers and would let me know. Never heard from them. I emailed first thing the next morning that they were in breach of contract and we needed to have our deposit refunded. The owner, Steve, called me all cheery asking how my day was going. I informed him that I was extremely unhappy and that I wouldn’t trust them with my stuff at that point and needed a refund. He completely agreed, said how embarrassing it was for them, they’d refund me, blah blah. Here we are over a month later and no refund. They claim it was processed and left their account 3 weeks ago but we haven’t received it. I emailed today and the employee asked if I’d filed a dispute with our credit card company. We are beginning the process and it seems to me that this employee knows that’s most likely the only way we’ll ever see our money. I can’t imagine a worse company to give your business to and I regret that we didn’t just rent a uhaul and do it ourselves from the beginning, which is what ended up happening.

Beyond disappointed with this company. Everything was great with the guys that picked up our stuff. They actually packed our stuff with care. However the two that delivered our stuff were not as careful. The day of delivery I had to call Steve several times due to their carelessness and unprofessionalism. When my husband asked them to be a little more careful the one guys got into a yelling match with my husband. The same one stayed on the phone almost the entire time. While moving our stuff into our placed they scratched our expensive new hardwood floors that had just been laid the week before. When I told Steve about it, he advised me to file a claim which I did. Not only for the scratched floors but also for the numerous broken and missing stuff. We have finally just got our settlement letter and the company is offering us $60 for all the damage. Absolutely insulting and ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and do your research. Do not use these guys.

This was absolutely THE WORST experience with ANY COMPANY I have ever done business with. First let me say that the Director of Operations Steve Ennis left a google review on his own website. So that should give you an idea of the integrity of the company. The morning that movers were supposed to arrive Steve called and said that a truck broke down and they would be late. Two movers came to pack my apartment and one ate food (walking around eating chips and licking his fingers) and drank sodas the whole time. He was rude, unprofessional, and didn’t do anything while the other worker did everything by himself. So as you can imagine, it took forever. The day after they picked up my things Steve told me that the one truck available for my move had broken down and he didn’t know how long it would take to be fixed. His exact words: “I don’t know when it will he fixed. It could be a day, a week, or a month.” Since he didn’t contact me to update me, and since I was waiting in my new house for my things to arrive, I would text each afternoon to ask if there was any news. His responses were: “No news.” And one day his exact words were: “No matter how many times you call it won’t change the fact the truck is not fixed!!! When it’s fixed I will call you!!!” In the meantime, they charged my credit card over $1,000 WITHOUT my permission. When I called Steve to ask him about it, he told me the billing dept made a mistake and they would work on it. It took over A WEEK to return my money. On the TENTH day he told me the drivers would be there the next day. They NEVER called and NEVER showed up. Steve emailed me at 5:30 PM to tell me that they hadn’t left and would arrive the next day. I was so upset, I called the office numerous times and asked that the owner call me. He NEVER did. Steve texted me and told me they would refund $200 because of all the problems of my delivery. On day TWELVE everything was finally delivered. As they were carrying in my bed I realized my mattress was not covered or protected AT ALL. It looked like they had dragged my mattress on the ground. My cotton mattress cover (that I sleep on) was dirty and torn. A lamp was shattered on the bottom and numerous things were scratched. Despite ALLLL the things that went wrong, the WORST part of this experience was how poorly and rudely I was treated and spoken to as a customer. They do not care at all about customer service. I wouldn’t expect this business to last very long considering how poorly they would treat a customer. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this business to anyone.

I started working with this company 5 months prior to the scheduled move. In the beginning everything was good. Two weeks before the scheduled move date they advised that they had to move the date up three days which I was okay with. In the next three days I heard NOTHING. All my phone calls were not answered, emails not responded to and they still had my money. The move they finally scheduled was outside the required date of my house closing. The wanted to schedule my move on July 15th which was three weeks from my original date of June 26th. I have yet to receive my money back from the deposit that I provided. They have extremely poor customer service when they cannot fulfill the obligations of their contract. I have several more members to be moving and I will NEVER use this company. Steer clear!!! ***UPDATE After breaching their contract now three....yes Three weeks later they have not returned my deposit. I've called everyday only to be able to leave a voicemail. They are a scam company. Shady crooks who coerce you into doing business with them only to backout and steal your money. I'm contacting the BBB as well as the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida DOT.

Just finished one big nightmare working with this company. Finally my move was completed 40 hours after the promised date. There were not updates on the tardiness nor a responsible and truthful answer to my questions and a lot of passing the ball from one person to another. Managers are only available to sign the contract and obtain the business, there after they go MIA. You only talk to a lot people that are not empower to make decisions or give honest answers. This company should not be in business.

I normally never leave reviews however, I feel compelled to share my story. I’m in the military (18 year veteran) and upon finding out that I was in orders I gave them a call. Eric handled the details of my move request with the upmost professionalism and that was probably the only part that went right. After reading previous negative reviews I thought I would be best to call at least once or twice a week to confirm that my move was still scheduled as planned. Now the norm is for them to build in a 3 day window for them to pickup your goods but I received a call from their dispatcher 1 day prior to my scheduled 3 date window saying and I quote “he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to pick my household good up on time.” When I asked when he said “PROBABLY another 1-2 days.” So this mean a 5 day window. Granted I booked this move atleast a month in advance (36 days to be exact), called weekly, and now you’re telling me this? This left me with the only option that I had left due to my house being sold (and the the new owners would take possession the following day) which was to rent a 26 foot U-Haul truck and load the items myself. Now I’m forced to load up my 4 bedroom home in a uhaul with the help of a few military buddies, drive down to Florida, unload my items and fly back to ft Bragg to pick up my vehicle. All the while my wife now has to stay back to make sure the house in cleaned. As soldiers and family members we’re trained to be adaptive to all types of situations but this is NOT the way to conduct business especially when I’m just trying to make sure my family is good to go before I head back out the door. I will not be recommending this company to any of my fellow Soldiers and if you decide to go with them I hope you have a better experience than I did. Your word should be your bond!

The check arrived on Oct 25, 2018 and was returned to Mover Dudes as they will not accept the PERSONAL CHECK they sent. This company is nothing but FRAUDULENT, THIEVES AND BREACH OF CONTRACT. When you first contact them they are your best friends, and then the aggravation starts. I am going to have to file a lawsuit and wonder if I will ever see my possessions again. STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
