I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.We recently hired them to move my mother to another state. Besides the fact there was little to NO communication regarding when they will arrive with ALL your belongings.After weeks when they finally arrived..Items were not only Broken ..but they did a very poor job labeling the boxes and packing her items up.We paid a LARGE amount to have them move her car in their truck to protect it..It arrived FILTHY..This was the SLOPPIEST job I have ever seen by movers.The owner was very unprofessional to me on the phone and I’m just all together highly disappointed we chose Karvin Movers to move my mother..BIG MISTAKE !! I’m not going to go back and forth about this with the owner of a company.But there were MANY items crushed and broken .My moms car was not filthy when you took it, it was extremely clean.. Im glad you have good reviews ,it’s a shame I wasn’t able to write one.

Nicest movers you will ever find. After a short stay in NC I decided to move back to NY. I found a company on Long Island, who coordinated the move. Karvin Van Lines were to be my actual movers. Mitch was in charge of the moving crew. There was a slight miscommunication with my move, but Mitch did what many business people won't; He apologized!! Then he made it all work. He also kept in constant phone communication. I got a call from the actual driver, Bruce, saying he would be here on Sunday. Sunday morning he called and said they were stuck in South Carolina due to the rain and flooding. (South Carolina called a State Emergency.) Again, Bruce apologized that they couldn't get through S.C. What a surprise when Bruce called Sunday night and said they got out and will be at my door in an hour. And they were! Nicest guys imaginable. All paperwork was thoroughly explained, boxes and items were put in the truck and off they went; headed back to NY. At the last moment, I even needed to change my move to having things stored instead of delivered. Not a problem for Karvin Van Lines.They have a storage place in NY.

Karvin Van Lines I want to share my relief of having Mitch Karvin Owner of Karvin Van Lines handling our move from NYC to Arizona coming up. He has taken all our worries away. He saw things as a long time professional mover would only know, brought them to our attention and how he will handle them. He is extremely careful and explained all the care that will be given to all our items. It is very emotional to sell and move out of a home and having our 96 year old father included in our move.
