Professional. Friendly. Careful with both the house we moved from and our new house. Both with hardwood flooring. Took care in packing and loading as well as moving items into new home. We have had two other interstate moves. This was best experience by far! Due to their care and up front efforts in packing us up, no broken or damaged items so far-we are almost done unpacking. Excellent experience. Movers arrived on time and had everything packed and out the door in record time. Furniture is completely wrapped in thick blankets and then taped to make sure there are not scratches. Very polite, efficient, and well mannered gentleman who worked non-stop. Had a great experience with Golden Movers in our relocation from VA to FL. Rod and Richard are such hard workers while having a very positive attitude, with laughs and even a song or 2. Not a dish was broken and they moved a whole house with lots of boxes! For such a 'move of a lifetime', they sure made it an easier ordeal. Josh and his team were absolutely fantastic for our move from Wesley Chapel, FL to Spring Hill, TN! They used double blankets on all the furniture (wrapping top and bottom), and handled it with due diligence and care. They arrived at both locations exactly at the time we were told. What a great experience I had with Golden Movers. The staff really does care about the quality of service you receive. I was looking to see how much it would be to move myself from FL to TX, and was shocked to see how expensive it would be. I contacted Golden Movers just to get a quote, and I was very surprised that I was able to actually have movers o the work for me for less than renting a truck and doing it on my own! Golden Movers is truly GOLDEN! I have moved across the country 4 different times and I wish I had discovered Golden Movers much sooner. Honesty and trust is an issue with this company, beware. I was referred to this company by another moving company. I had an issue with some missing property that I discovered upon moving in, I confronted the men moving my furniture with no answer. I contacted the company immediately and asked to speak with the owner, I was told the owner Josh would call me back to discuss the situation and four days later, I have NOT received a call. Therefore, I filed a police report. I would not recommend this company to anyone, trust and honesty is an issue.

This company gave 48 hr notice as to the day of arrival for pick up, no time frame however. And then they moved the trip up a whole day, leaving me with less than 24 hrs, and no window of time. This is an out of state move involving rental car, flight arrangements, scheduling time off of work. They have no regard for the coordinating done on the customers end. Offer no understanding as to the inconvenience their less than 24 hr notice with no time frame is causing. I am shocked at the 4.5 star rating others have given and am really disappointed that level of service was not provided to me. Post move update: I am thankful for the DRIVERS. They are the only ones who kept this move frm complete disaster. Great customer service skills, and everything arrived in tact!

If you are searching for a professional and reliable moving company, please do not delay, call Golden Movers. They were OUTSTANDING starting with the survey representative, General Manager, Field Supervisor,-Wendal, Richard, Don, Bill, Justin, Rob, John, Duke, JT, and the other packing, loading and moving crew. They protected our furniture as if though it was their household goods, each item of furniture is covered and wrapped. (2-step process) Our furniture was never exposed to the outdoor elements as they loaded the truck trailer. My husband and I found the company online, read all the wonderful rating reviews and both agreed, this is the moving company for us. Hired to move required a deposit which was paid, loaded the stuff then when came time to unload tried to extort me for double the price when questioning them they refused payment. And left with all my stuff in the back of the van. Do not hire this company they are a scam and are out to steal your stuff or extort you.

We have never used a professional moving company in the past. We were a bit intimidated by the whole procedure but were very pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Josh came to our home and was very professional and went through our entire home and gave us an estimate. He helped us by telling us how many boxes we should go and buy as we did not have a clue how to even begin the packing process. We ran out of time so ended up having golden movers pack our kitchen and breakfast room. Josh actually was the one that packed that area and he did an amazing job! On the day of moving, they showed up on time and went to work. It was amazing to watch. Each worker took a room and before we knew it the house was empty. They worked very hard all day long in the 95+ heat and humidity. Because we could not move into our new home immediately, they stored our items in their truck for a couple of days. When the day came to move into our new home, they showed up on time and unloaded our belongings into our new home. They were very respectful and listened to everything we asked them to do. They were also very careful with all of our belongings. The only damage we ended up having was a broken TV tray stand which Josh is going to have his woodworker contact come and repair. When you consider they moved all of our belongings from a 2700 square foot house and only damaged a tray table stand that is an amazing feat!!!. At the end of the day each worker came one by one and told us goodbye and hoped we enjoy our new home. We feel they did an amazing job and would not hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you Josh and workers for helping us through a stressful time and making everything come out great.

We are so happy that Golden Movers moved us from Florida to South Carolina! It was a great experience. Josh, his office staff, and his teams that moved us did everything with excellence! The office staff was organized and planned packing and unloading, off-site storage, and delivery which was no easy feat because it took us two months to purchase a new home. They communicated well with us the entire time. I cannot say enough about the teams that moved our belongings. They worked well together as a team and had fun as they worked, while taking great care with our belongings. They came over and quoted a super reasonable price, then scheduled to make a pick up from our home and the storage locker and they stored these items for a couple of months while our new home was being built. Save your money., seriously. I really don’t know where to start this review. My wife and I were charged a ridiculous amount to move 7-8 minutes away, but we wanted a company that was properly insured, etc. and had credible reviews. The owner Josh was cordial and professional when he came to our home to give us a price quote, but once he left, things started to turn for the worse: Josh never verbally quoted us an "upcharge" for moving on the weekend, but this showed up in our charges. After my wife called and questioned the charge on paper, Josh’s wife Katie, who was very nice, stated their employees are normally in overtime during Saturday, hence the reason for the charge; hmmmmm...... When asked if we could change our appointment to save the $100 "upcharge" fee, we were told the next available move date they had was July 8th- another hmmmm moment. At this point, I should have canceled and found someone off Craigslist who was willing to charge a fair amount and not pad their bottom line, but moves are stressful enough, so we went with it. Our movers- Justin was excellent! To be 100% honest, I would not hesitate to hire this guy! The other two- pretty lazy, to be honest. Apparently, they were telling Justin that multiple boxes, etc were to be left in the garage, which my wife kept insisting was incorrect. Thank you again, Justin! Without you on this move, who knows what would have happened. Which leads me to the final note: We were missing a very vital box with multiple Dewalt tools and specialized technology tools in it. The tech tools are not something I can go to Home Depot or Lowe’s to replace, no, these are special order tools to open/fix/etc multiple different phones, tablets, etc. Needless to say, I was in a bit of disarray when my wife and I couldn’t find it! We looked everywhere- all the boxes, the old home, all the closets, the garage, even the fridge (hey, did I mention moves are stressful? Occasionally, things end up in odd places), still missing. At this point, my wife called and text‘d the owner Josh. Within 30 minutes, Justin was talking to my wife about the box and had specifically remembered this box and asked my wife if it goes upstairs, to which my wife replied, yes. The box never made it upstairs (eventually the box was found outside, behind a bush). Somewhere within the call with Justin, another person named "Bob" called. Let’s talk a bit about Bob- Bob is apparently the General Manager and was trying his hardest to resolve the issue. When I asked how exactly he was doing that, Bob went silent. Bob then stated "I wasn’t present during the move, so I don’t know what to do." Bob then asked why I had such a rude disposition, wherein I replied " Because there’s $1,000+ of Expletive tools missing, Bob." Bob then hung up on me. Bob, occasionally you will come across someone who’s a bit upset, etc, as I’m sure you have been in the past before. That person is looking for guidance and as a "GM", that is your job- to resolve and diffuse the situation, which you did neither. Which leads me back to Josh. I tried calling and texting Josh (remember, he owns this company) and left multiple messages. This was the 22nd. Today is the 25th and I still haven’t received a call. Apparently, Josh is on vacation till 7-1. Regardless, you’re a small business owner in a saturated market, pick up the phone and act like a proud owner and tackle the issue head-on! In conclusion, save your money. There are too many people out there that are willing to do hard days work without all the BS! The fancy Logo’s, trucks, what clubs you’re part of, or your monotheistic beliefs, doesn’t mean anything if the initial offering isn’t 100% to the customers satisfaction. I’m sure Josh will have something interesting to say in regards to this review, as he has on all the others. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me directly.

We decided to hire a company for the first time to do our move due to the back injuries we have both suffered and some of the people who have helped us move in the past were out of town. We were a little skiddish about paying for a company so I got 4 quotes and Golden Movers beat the others and seemed to have the best process of the ones they were close to.
