We did a bit of a complicated move from Florida to New Jersey back in May. Corey and the team were very helpful and very resourceful in solving our needs for our 2 phase move. They got us very quick timings and very competitive costings as we required. The actual packers and guys who loaded the trucks were true pros with lots of years of experience and everything got to where it was going with no dramas. We HIGHLY recommend C&C.

They forgot my beautiful lacquered console on their truck, and returned it to me completely destroyed two weeks later!!! They acknowledged that they ruined it and sent me a check for $45. I paid $730 for this piece and I have the receipt to prove it. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER USE THESE MOVERS!!!! They are shady, dishonest and have no integrity. Please take a look at the photos on my Facebook page, and you will see the condition in which it was returned. They will ruin your belongings. I want to warn everyone about this company so no one will experience what I went through with them. Epilogue: I had a box with antique crystal that was never delivered to me... so they are crooks in addition to all the above. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Wow! What a excellent company. I was so worried about hiring a moving company to get my things from Miami Beach, Fl. to Ashville, N.C. I read many reviews real and FAKE. I also spoke to a few scam artists so I was actually thrilled with dealing with C@C shipping. Everyone involved was this company AND Wheaton were some of the most professional people I have ever actually met or spoke to on the phone. Vickie from C&C got the ball rolling by sending over Walter to give me an estimate. As soon as I met Walter I felt better about the moving ordeal; Walter is a no nonsense professional. He looked, acted, and dressed like a pro. He and Vickie had answered all my questions to my satisfaction and they gave me a binding estimate. They were true to their word. On moving day Matt the driver showed up with 2 very strong,very fast, friendly guys and they really took care of my stuff. Even better Matt told me exactly when he would deliver my stuff to Asheville, N.C. True to his word the truck arrived in front of my apt. 30 minutes after I reached Asheville. Again two different guys unloaded my stuff very quickly and they were terrific too. What a NICE experience! Who would have thunk it! The thing I worried the most about turned out great; and the part that I was't worried about- the actual apartment-turned out to be a nightmare. It was so filthy I couldn't believe it. Anyway, after a lot of stress and yelling I got the assholes to reclean the WHOLE apt. I was so happy with my movers I had to tell this long story. I will only tell the truth and nothing but the truth!

From the packing to the pickup, shipping period, customs, reception and to the loading & unloading of every boxes and piece of furniture at the arrival area were extremely thorough and pleasant. Overpromised and Under Delivered Being in the business of customer service I expected my experience to be "wonderful & flawless" as the salesman had portrayed which is why I chose to move forward with them. Unfortunately, several of the promises made were not executed when moving day actually arrived. The expectation would be that the truck would arrive to the correct address on time, with the proper materials to complete the move. NOPE! Although to some these may seem like small details; but with these details being missed it created extra frustrations and annoyances moving day. The lack of communication between the salesman and the drivers lead to the promised boxes being left off the truck. Without these boxes it resulted in all my clothing being thrown on a moving pad on the floor of the dirty truck. Not only is the cleanliness of this method less than satisfying it is completely unorganized. As a result during the unload clothes were falling off the hangers, there was no longer any sort of organization, and everything was thrown in any random closet; creating more work for me upon arrival. In addition the salesman also failed to disclose the 5% service fee when paying by credit card. 5% on top of what I’ve already paid for the move, WHAT!!! This conversation need to take place at the time of the estimate or during the final stages of negotiating the contract. Not disclosing fees is a bad business practice; in essence it’s stealing. I looked at their website prior to the move but failed to notice that they haven’t had a positive testimonial posted since 2013. This should be a red flag to anyone considering using this company. From my personal experience there must have been a change in management resulting in a lack of care and concern with customer service. Although I received a non-sincere apology from the office, nothing was done to rectify the situation and I was left unsatisfied with the service received.

We called several moving companies for their quotes to move our 4 bedroom household items. C&C sent a really nice salesman to give us a quote, he spent about an hour going over everything. We called the office and Vickie was very helpful organizing her team of movers. The truck pulled up last week and they had it all loaded up in 7 hours. They did a fantastic job and I recommend them to anyone who needs a great moving company.

Awhile back Oscar & I helped a driver(James) from here unload a shippment. Very professional guy yet laid back. Great with the customer who was a tad bit demanding ...he stood his ground firmly with the ONE touch rule which was great as she kept wanting us all to play interior decorators. Long job but he made it fun & east to do. Not a lot of drivers out there like that.

I was moving from a third story bedroom to a bedroom on another third story. The three guys from C & C Shipping were very professional and maintained such a positive attitude during the move. The whole move only took about 8 hours but the stairs were tough. The movers worked quickly and efficiently and took good care of moving all the items with blankets and plastic. They gave a guaranteed not to exceed price, which was right on the money.I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a professional mover, thanks.

These guys were alright. They arrived over a hour late past our appointment time. They sent three older gentleman (which was fine) but two of the three just complained about everything. They kept complaining to me about how tired they were and how the office didn’t communicate with them about what we needed. I felt like they started to slow down and took their sweet time. I mean they got the job done, but we won’t use them again or refer this company to anyone. It’s not my problem that you’re tired or overworked. Then they kept asking for drinks and I’m ok with giving drinks but they killed an entire 24 pack of water. You would think they would have brought their own stuff. The one guy was amazing didn’t complain kept thanking us for giving him work. Overall alright only reason for 2 stars was because of that guy!

Nice people all the way around. One big problem, however. They broke an expensive piece of furniture and only reimbursed us $50. Yes the fine print that I didn't read said that I claimed my furniture was worth $0.60 a pound. So my advice is to ask what you are signing well in advance of moving day. : (

Juan is the best. I've had to rent years before and it usually sucks. This was hands down the best experience I've had moving. This was some of the most honest, authenticity friendly, and relaxing experience I've had with shipping. I've always been one to move everything myself to avoid potential damages and the high expense usually associated with a Move. Due to time constraints and a lack of resources, I opted to use C & C Shipping based on the positive reviews on this site and the very helpful woman on the phone, Vicki. I must say that right off the bat I was very impressed by the work ethic of the crew. The Truck was loaded in 3 hours and unloaded in roughly the same amount of time. On top of that, the furniture and contents of boxes are all intact and with minimal wear and tear. All and all I am exceptionally pleased with the crew and will definitely call C & C Shipping again. I have to leave a review for how terrible this company has treated me. First, it took 3 guys to pack my entire apartment in 8 hours. I live in a 700 square foot apartment. As I started to unpack, they packed very unorganized with excessive packing on things that didn’t need to be wrapped and also left out small parts in the boxes with my lamps. I’ve had to order new lamp collars for all of my lamps because I’m missing pieces for the shades. They also just left random things unpacked and I had to pack them after they left. I also realized they did not pack any of my glassware in the kitchen because I didn’t point out the drawer under the oven, even though that seems pretty self explanatory. Also, there is damage to almost all of my furniture. Unfortunately I have mostly glass or black painted furniture and the paint has chipped on almost all my furniture somewhere. Second, the day before the move they call and tell me they can’t get their truck into the parking lot of my building and we need to pay for a “shuttle truck.” Why didn’t they figure this out before the day ahead my stuff is supposed to be loaded? I was promised that a truck would fit, and then we had to pay for the shuttle when it apparently became a problem when we signed a moving contract months before. Third, they told me my furniture and all of my stuff would be here Tuesday 7/2, then the driver tells me 7/4, then again it gets moved to 7/6. Today I wake up to a phone call from the Wheaton corporate office that they pretty much don’t know when I’m going to get my delivery but it’ll get there by 7/12. After talking to Wheaton, they hadn’t even talked to the driver and he was still set to deliver the next day. Which he did. Wade, the driver, was the most pleasant person working with this company. He was helpful, informative and very friendly. I just moved 1000 miles away and I’ve been living out of a suitcase for a week already and sleeping on the floor on an air mattress in an entirely empty apartment. I have been spending money I need to save because I moved without employment, on pots and pans because I have nothing to cook with, doing laundry every day so I have clothes to wear, I don’t even have a table to sit and eat at. If I hadn’t also just gotten into a car accident where my car was almost totaled maybe I could afford a hotel until they got here but alas I don’t.. I would have never agreed to pay thousands of dollars to these people if I knew that this was going to happen. Edit: to the person who rudely replied to my review. First, your driver told me it would be delivered Tuesday the 2nd directly to my face when I asked him when he picked up my load. How can you say I was not told that when you weren’t there? Second, I am not paying less than what I was quoted. I paid over $100 more because you all made us pay for the shuttle truck that was not our fault as you promised us the original tractor trailer would fit when we signed the moving contract over a month prior. Third, you should have still figured out the fact your semi wouldn’t fit further than a day ahead from loading my furniture, which is why I am not paying less than what I was quoted
