Don't use Anthem Services! I would give zero stars if I could. The experience was frustrating, stressful, and misleading. I moved from California to Oregon and they took 34 days to deliver. I called several times over the past month, often waiting on hold for long periods of time, and being told that my belongings would be delivered at the end of the week. This happened for four weeks. I was then told I would not have to pay delivery fees, but then was later told that because I filed a complaint that they could not waive my fees. I later learned that this promise is made to many and not fulfilled. I was also promised in the beginning of the move that my things would be delivered 1-3 days which is why we chose Anthem, then upon pick-up was told 4-7 days, then 5-10 days , then up to 21 days, and it took 34 days from one state to the next! My stuff arrived in two separate vans, with some of it damaged, with other people's things, and missing some of mine.

Excellent service! Baldo and his crew were absolutely a pleasure to work with. They worked efficiently and safely, and were helpful above what they needed to do - even helped me assemble several items that they were not required to and delivered earlier than I thought they would be able to. The customer service was also top rated. I had a lot of personal issues that made this move less than optimal, but their customer service team took great care of me and made it all happen. Sarah was especially helpful with figuring out my financial situation and getting everything completed. I can’t say enough good things about this experience, which would have been far more stressful if it weren’t for the staff at Anthem Moving.

Do not ever use this company! If I could leave -10 stars I would! They called two weeks ago to say our truck was on it's way. I told them I didn't request it yet and not to send it because we didn't close on our new home yet. Yesterday they called to inform me the truck would be at the new town today and I had better rent a storage unit to store our things!! Also, It looks like they rolled our boxes down the interstate. And they are so incredibly rude I don't even have words!!!

The worst moving experience ever. I have moved cross country 3 times. This has been the WORST ever. I had a 4 bedroom house moving from El Centro ca. To Memphis tn. I gave them a 3 day window, monday-wed , paid for the full pack option. They waited until the last day to schedule the move, the driver called at 3 pm said he would be there in 2 hours. Then they called at 6 pm said they would show up the next morning,Thursday, a day late. Then they only sent 2 people to pack up and load the whole housecand garage, they didn't finish the 1st say. They told me they would be back at 0700 the next morning at 1030 they still hadn't showed up. They did call and say they over slept because they were so tired from the last 2 days of work. I was supposed to be driving to Memphis and arrive on friday i had to change my hotel reservations 2 times because of these useless people.... Do yourself a favor DO NOT USE ANTHEM MOVING

Anthem deserves more than a 5 star rating honestly. Our family feels blessed to have come across such a caring company. They took special care to make sure everything was done to our expectations. My wife has many family Heirlooms that are irreplaceable. They needed a special packing - and these men took such great care of each and every one! We have finally finished unpacking and I can now say everything arrived perfect. Our family is very thankful to Anthem.

Pick up time delayed 20 hours because truck stuck in another state. -2 driver/ loader. 62 Boxes carefully loaded. Delivery was on time. Different truck, different driver -1 driver/loader Boxes tumbled all over the truck. Somebody's furniture had be unloaded onto to the grass to get at the tumble of boxes. One imagines boxes get routinely tumbled to retrieve pieces of cargo. I driver and same person unloads. Bottom line.. Now realized several boxes did not make it to destination. Quite disappointed but from the reviews. I guess I was just UNLUCKY.

Absolutely the most stressful and unprofessional experience I've ever had with a company. I don't understand how they're in business. The movers who picked up my stuff didn't arrive until almost midnight (4 hours late), parked illegally, and then blamed me to the security guard (who spent the next hour yelling at me). They left without giving me my inventory list or insurance paperwork, leaving a bunch of moving materials in my hallway. I complained to the rep I'd been talking with, who promised Customer Service would be in touch. They never were. The next three weeks (21 full days), I had to call customer service over and over to figure out where my stuff was (no one knew), when it would arrive (no one knew), or when I would get my insurance paperwork (I have yet to receive it). I understand there's a level of uncertainty with long drives across country, but if I hadn't hunted down the information I would have been sitting in an empty apartment for three weeks with no information or check-ins. When the movers finally arrived, they got here in a different truck (despite the rep who'd sold me on the company by promising that they'd never move my stuff off the initial truck). This new truck was too big to get to my building, so I had to pay an extra $100 "long carry charge" out of pocket. There was damaged furniture, a broken mirror, and a suitcase with an old laptop and about $200 worth of exercise gear was completely missing. I legitimately considered not even calling about it because it was worth $200 just to never have to talk to these people again. Now I'm in the middle of filing a claim (which was like pulling teeth because the initial movers left without giving me the inventory list or insurance). The only way they will be able to redeem themselves even a bit is if I can get this suitcase back. If you're considering Anthem Moving, run in the opposite direction. It's not worth the "match or beat" price. You end up spending the money you saved on hidden fees, time spent on the phone, and lost luggage.

HANDS DOWN the easiest moving experience I have ever had. I work for a large property management company and we had an incident VERY last minute, I was scrambling to find help moving for a resident who was out of the country, within The next day they were there and ready to go. The movers were so friendly and seemed happy to be helping us, they moved FAST, but so careful. They even helped pack stuff up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was just an over all amazing experience and I can guarantee I won’t ever call another moving company. Anthem Moving is the way to go!

Do not use these movers, horrible service. James is a big liar, do not believe anything he says. After he books your service, he cannot be reached. The price they quote is not worth the nightmare they send you through for many broken delivery times. They don't tell you that they take your things to a warehouse before they deliver your items. If you value your things do not use this company. Guarantee you will be disappointed. HORRIBLE SERVICE, GUARANTEED.

A nightmare! They shouldn’t even get one star. A emotionally devastating experience .I know you are busy looking for a reliable moving company. Even if you don’t read this review you should keep looking. Stay far away from this company. They did over 7500 worth of damaged and lost my belongings. The worst experience ever. They don’t take your calls. The driver extorted an extra 500 to open the truck . Are in breach of contact and I will be taking them to court . Choose any other company over these guys. No one from the company has called to apologize for all my missing belongings. Items that were in my family for over 60 years. Items that made it through the 2nd world war lost by Anthem movers. They damaged most of the furniture. Turned up a week late. I’ve moved over 8 times and picking this company was a huge mistake. I liked the idea of a family small company. This is not true. The movers and truck were local guys hired out of company. They even say on their own website that they don’t do this . A total catastrophe stay clear ! Even if they move your items for free it wouldn’t be worth it . They would break and loose everything!

Excellent service and really nice people to work with. The movers bring a nice touch, and are quick without breaking anything. They wrap up all your furniture up in blankets or shrink wrap and ensure a safe delivery and pack the truck well. They were very accommodating with my dog getting in the way and delivered everything to the rooms we asked them to. The wardrobe boxes are a great touch and made moving clothes super simple. Would definitely use Anthem Moving if/when we move again!

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR MONEY. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I scheduled a pick up for 7/15/2019 back in April, 3 months prior to the scheduled services. When it got closer to the move date, I called to confirm, and the date was confirmed as a range from 7/15-7/16. I asked if it could be 7/15 as that is what I initially requested, and I was told they would write down that I preferred 7/15. I was then told I was going to get a call to review the items within a few days and I never did. I called back and was told that they did call me and left a message, but I never received one. The items were reviewed and confirmed. On 7/14/2019 I got a call to say they movers would be at my house between 9-11 am on 7/16. We waited during that time and never once received a call. At 11:30 am, I called and was told that they would actually arrive at my house from 4-6 pm with no reason as to the delay. At 7/16/2019 at 6 pm, I called back in to check on the truck. While I was on hold, the driver of the truck called the alternative phone number I left and stated that they were having truck issues and that they could get to our house "late tonight or early tomorrow morning." We said early tomorrow morning would work and the driver stated they would be at our house at 6 AM on 7/17/2019. At 7 AM on 7/17 we called the driver to check in and was sent straight to voice mail. I then called Anthem and was told that the after hours care would send in a note. At 8:30 AM we tried calling the driver again and was sent straight to voicemail once more. I then repeated this issue to the after hours care and they said they would mark it as urgent. I called at 9 AM to talk to someone that actually worked at Anthem and was told that they don't open until 10 AM even though online hours list they're open from 9am-6pm. At 9:30 AM, we called back to cancel our services. We had a viewing scheduled for our house at 1:30 pm and needed everything out of the house by 1 pm so we could clean and get it ready. Theodore at Anthem (who was actually very nice and helpful) called the driver and actually got in contact with him. The driver stated that he was still in Cincinnati, OH because a job ran over and could be at our house at 1 pm. This did not settle well with me for multiple reasons. 1) I was told the day prior that they were having truck issues which ended up being a blatant lie as they were still working on another job. 2) Our house needed to be vacant by the time they would arrive. And 3) Cincinnati, OH to my pick up location is an 8+ hour drive and the time frame they gave me was simply impossible. I then contacted Adam, the General manager, to ensure our services were canceled. He told me I was told the wrong information and our driver was actually in 30 minutes away. However, they were unloading another delivery and wouldn't be able to come to our house until 1 pm still. I continued to request a cancellation and it was finally "confirmed." However, at 8 pm on 7/17/2019, I got a call from the driver, who was very unprofessional, asking if I wanted them to come to the house to pack our things. I asked if he was told that I cancelled my services and he stated he was told just to call me. I'm actually relieved they never showed up because I would not have trusted my things with them. We ended up renting our own truck and driving 8+ hours to our final destination and even saved $1000. I'm requesting my $1,100 deposit back as well, but given their track record with non-existent communication, my hopes are very low.

Anthem Moving LLC came recommended by a friend who helps move people for a living and I had a great experience... The crew of four started at 8:30 as promised, and worked steadily the entire day. The were pleasant, professional and really knew what they were doing. After disassembling beds and other furniture, they had me walk through the rooms in the new house, and they knew what pieces went with which room, better than I did! They reassembled, gave me time to get bed skirts on, never rushed, but got the job done. They are the best.

The most awful experience, service, and resource for a moving service. I do NOT recommend this moving service TO ANYONE. Why? 1. I acquired this organization to bring all of my belongings from North Carolina to Chicago. Initially they said it would not be an issue to get to my home and gather my belongings. All was okay when it was contracted. 2. Once the date was established and the date had come to move, they said they wouldn’t be able to come on our established date and would come a different date. Cool, fine come a different date as long as they come. We trusted them that they would be at my home. 3. They called on our other established date and RESCHEDULED. Once that rescheduled date came, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. NO NOTICE, NO FOLLOW UP, NO EMAIL, NOT EVEN A CALL. If you’re not going to fulfill what was established and contracted AN ADVANCED NOTICED IS REQUIRED. I did NOT have enough time for my plan B to hire another moving company BECAUSE I TRUSTED THIS ONE. Anthem Moving Service, you need a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MANAGEMENT TEAM. GET IT TOGETHER AND THINK ABOUT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Lovely service. Wanted to book a last minute move and it was organized for the next day. The movers came on time (despite the snowy weather) and let me know of their ETA before arriving. They were quick and courteous. Easiest and most pleasant experience ever with moving!

first of all I wrote before and somebody deleted it. I'm not satisfied at all. they picked up my stuff on May,31 till now (july, first) I haven't received my stuff yet. they told me 2 weeks ago should be arrived within 5 business days. but they lied. I've dealt with Adam, ghdore and Sara. Sarah the only one tried to help and find a solution, (but) there is a gap between who in the office and the truck drivers. the truck driver no body could control them, they not answering their calls and they did not provide the ETA. and they not obey or listen to (WHO in office) poor communication between them . they refund me 600$ they said because the delay. but the funny thing till now I didn't receive my stuff. Sarah helped me and refunded me the 600 , the others they didn't care at all. my ETA supposed to be before 4th of July, (but) I doubt it. they said the company could pay you only 10$ for each day delay after 30 days. just to imagine how they dealing a business with you. my location from michigan to Amarillo, TX. cost me 3200$ I got refunded about 600$ as well. I will write other reviews later.

From setting up the delivery over phone and email, to confirmation, to drivers arriving, packing the truck and unpacking to final payment - everyone involved was professional, friendly, honest, efficient and careful. Igor and Vlad were the best movers I could have asked for! they made the move pleasant and easy. I’d highly recommend them for anyone for their move. Awesome customer service and communication. Estimate was spot on. Moving crew was fast, and extremely careful. Their teamwork was amazing. They got all my heavy furniture through the tight spots and down the stairs much better than any other movers and no damage like the big name company that moved me last. Their service is terrible, they handled the stuff roughtly our computer table legs are broken, book shelf slats are missing, and two other moving boxes went missing. AND MORE IMPORTANT is our 50 inch smart TV is broken which was very new, very disappointed with the service, will share the pics of the TV which is damaged badly, and claims would take 120 days but still not sure of the refund, worst service ever.

I asked this company for a quote about three months ago. I was only mildly curious and figured I would end up doing it myself anyway, being a poor college kid. I figured they'd send an email with a rough estimate and that would be that. Instead they called me, which is fine except I work days, so I missed the calls. I figured, I'd call them back on an off day. Until they started calling me. CONSTANTLY. I mean seven times in a row, every day, a dozen different numbers. It was almost funny, but after a few weeks it stated to freaked me out so I blocked all the numbers. It just didn't seem normal for a company to call you that much. Then they started to text me. Pretty much every day. I finally told one man that I would just do it myself and he got angry and sent me a paragraph about how I had caused us both so much trouble. I felt bad, but at least it was over. Until two weeks later when the texts started again. Again every day, different names from the same number as well as different numbers. I don't know what the phone situation is at this company but it's wild. One texted me from a new number something like "call me back!!" And foolishly I thought it might be someone other than the moving company that had been hunting me down for three months. So I answered it, and it went straight into, "I'm so and so from anthem moving company". I finally told them AGAIN that I would just do it myself and asked them to please stop. The man acted like I was being dramatic, which is both rude and funny considering the situation. I wasn't going to leave a review because I feel like this is an odd situation that doesn't reflect on them in a normal transaction, but the fact that both of the people I talked to got a nasty attitude when I did answer them, despite me being polite as possible, really ticked me off. Two stars because, while they did harass me like a spurned ex husband, I can definitely say communication is good.

I had a very positive experience with anthem moving, they were by my side from the moment I booked my move from ny to NC all the way until the delivered my items. They were very thorough when taking my inventory and pricing my move, they even called me about ten days before my move to make sure nothing changed in my inventory so I had no unexpected price changes. The movers showed up on time werr professional and very careful with my items they wraped and protectes everything. And on delivery pretty much set up my house i sat back witha cup of coffee and directed them where to place everything. I highly recommend anthem to anyone making a move amazing customer service and great price.

Booked Anthem a month in advance and gave Once they gave a date of Friday arrival, they said they would give 24 hour notice of time of arrival. They did not! We had to constantly call them, they never called us. They hung up on us once and then said it didn’t happen. Once we complained they said they could not make either Thirsday or Friday dates and now scheduled to arrive on Saturday. It feels like retaliation for complaining! Number 14 in their contract says no dates or times are guaranteed... consumer beware! Because on moving day when they don’t show up, it’s too late to call another mover!

Initially we were nervous about moving coast to coast because so many things can go wrong. I’m happy to say that all went well and we are all settled into our new home in South Carolina. Unprofessional service. Initially while signing the contract the customer representative James said that your times are fully covered and safe, secure. At the delivery time they bought all the broken parts. Even my two suitcases are missing which contains items. When I asked regarding them, they said we are looking . It’s already been 1 month they didn’t respond. And when I claimed they gave $100 refund for broken TV stand, study table and for missing 2 suitcases . Irresponsible team ,we need to call them everyday but they will have only one answer we are looking for missing items.

And shamelessly does not refund the advance after promising, keeps on putting your call on hold and the managers talk rudely. No concept of customer service. My family used anthem for packing and moving a 3,000 square foot home in pa and moving to Jupiter fl They packed our entire house in one day and moved the following day. The packers were great and the movers even better , Rob , Roy , King and 2 others cant remember there names were spectacular ! Didn't break no items , didn't scratch no walls , didn't damage no furniture. They put everything where it needed to go room by room. They also finished in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this moving company with these gentlemen !!

Anthem Moving Services stole the Social Security money my wife( whom is a breast cancer survivor) had saved so we could move out of the northeast where she was in pain every winter. A SLEAZE BAG OPERATION As soon as “Rachel Ross” earned our trust and had our $1260 deposit we did not hear from anyone in the company again. No response to any email. No one ever came to inventory our belongings 5 days before the move as was promised before they had our money. No one ever returned our calls even as the 3 day move window came and went leaving us to scramble to find and pay for a real moving company to pack up our house right before the closing. Thanks scumbags. Horrible company staffed by people happy to steal our money. Avoid Anthem Moving Services (or any other company linked to them) like the plague.

The office staff and the guys that did the move were professional, polite and respectful. I'm so thankful I chose this company to do my move. Don helped me understand the process about how the whole moving process works. I had never moved across the country before. As a single mom he eased my stress. Along with mike, in customer service was there for all of my questions. Also not having to break down anything or pack was awesome. Im pretty sure that half the reviews are fake. Im giving 0 stars. These guys are con artists. I was appraised for roughly 2K work stuff at 3000lbs. This has nothing to do with the personnel that showed up to move my things but unbeknownst to me I was quoted at 450 cubic ft. I have three rooms they were moving any person with half a brain could tell you its not 450 cubic ft its probably 800. Low and behold it was 8 and after being promised they were the best company and promised that this would be stress free. It was the complete opposite. Im a disabled military veteran with a family and they wanted to charge me almost 200% more than i was quoted at. After waiting weeks for a date and time and then when given a time waited all day for the movers this is what i was told wasn’t going to happen, this is ridiculous and this unacceptable. Dont say your the best and promise when you cant deliver. Worse company ever and because of them I lost my time and money.

I only had to move a a few rooms (but there was A LOT OF my furniture), but guys were very respectful and efficient with all my stuff and some of the packing as far as the fragile items. I hired this company to move my items from New York to Louisiana. They were very pleasant at first but of course as soon as I signed the contract issues started occurring. They said I could call to change my pick up dates, which I did, but then later they claimed this never occurred. When my items were picked up, they tried to charge me extra. Fortunately I had asked questions through email so I had in writing that what I was being charged for I was promised I wouldn't be, however it still took a month and me refusing to pay the extra charge for them to relent. When my items were delivered, several items were severely damaged, one was completely lost and on top of that I was given something of someone else's that they seemed completely uninterested in trying to return to it's owner. I still have it, and am unclear what to do with it. In short, this was a horrible experience and I would definitely recommend against it.

June 5th our move fell through called hoping to get part of my deposit back. Our move wasn't until July 30th. Was told it would have to go to billing manager to determine if I would be able for refund. Now when I call I'm immediately placed on hold and no one will talk to me. So make sure everything is for sure going to happen otherwise be prepared to say bye bye to your deposit.

Having had such a great experience last time, we chose to use Anthem Moving again for our recent move...hopefully, we won't have to move again for a long time, but if we do, we will definitely be using you guys once more...such great service...friendly, efficient, hardworking,and thoughtful. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. P.S. Don't bother looking elsewhere, these guys will be cheaper and better!!! :) for sure!

I booked a move with Anthem Moving Services to move my family and I from Tennessee to Oklahoma. I gave them the exact inventory in my storage unit that needed to be moved; however, when the day of my pickup finally arrived for my move, the driver said that he needed to come back with a bigger truck. The driver did not do an inventory inspection against the inventory sheet that we provided; which was quite a bit, but told us with his visual eye that it would be an extra $5k on top of what was already quoted. I said, NO!!! That is not what we were quoted, so someone needs to give us our money back. The driver never said to us that there is more inventory than what was previously provided, he just said that he needed to come back with a bigger truck for a bigger price. I immediately called Anthem and got an after hours representative and left a lengthy message for a supervisor. I got a call back from Adam around 3:42 and explained my dismay to him, because he said he was the supervisor. He stated that I refused service and I explained that I did not refuse service, I refused the revised pricing which added an extra $5k. He said that we had to have had extra items if the driver wanted to charge us more money. I explained to him that the driver did not take the time to compare what he had on his inventory sheet against what we actually had. Then Adam said to me that the driver noted that we had extra items. Again, I said to Adam, how would he know if he did not compare??? And if we did, what were the extra items?? Adam tells me that he will check with the driver and call me right back. That was Sunday, August 11th and today is Tuesday, August 13th...I'm still waiting on "right back" to happen. I have been calling and leaving messages for Adam or another supervisor to call me since Monday morning to no avail!!! They have MY MONEY that was taken as a deposit for services to be rendered and SERVICES have not been rendered nor has a phone call been returned. My family and I are in a home without furniture because they have MY MONEY TIED UP WITH THEIR LACK OF SERVICE!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE RATING AT THIS POINT I WOULD!! When trying to obtain my business, James, which is supposed to be another supervisor was all over the service part; however, when I reached out to him via email to call me, it went unanswered as well!!! I am so disappointed and disgusted with this company right now. THEY ARE THIEVES AND LIARS!!! THEY STOLE, LIED AND CHEATED TO GET MY MONEY AND NOW THEY WON'T EVEN RETURN MY CALL!!! I WILL CONTINUE TO CALL ALONG WITH TAKING OTHER MEASURES TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER.

DO NOT USE ANTHEM MOVING! Expect to have damaged goods, missing items, unexpected delivery/pick up times and movers/drivers have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hands down the worst experience I ever had moving, and I have moved a lot due to the military. The company will ignore all calls after move is finished and will not help you with any of your claim information even if the items missing are the most important items in your entire house!!! Drivers/movers were hours late for both delivery and pick up and either refused to answer my questions or blatantly ignored me. All they cared about was getting paid. Driver also lied when I asked for a receipt and said he didn’t have one after I paid him! They attempted to deliver my goods at 10pm at on a Wednesday to my house without warning after the driver said he wouldn’t be there until Thursday. Even after compensating them, they showed up 1 hour late!! They still gave my brother attitude (I was on the phone the entire time) and refused to reassemble my furniture which is a BREACH OF CONTRACT. I also have very sturdy furniture made out of real wood and they managed to destroy two dressers. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!! I had a box go missing that had items my grandmother gave to me and she is NO LONGER ALIVE!!!!! LIVID BEYOND MEASURE BECAUSE THE SENTIMENTAL VALUE OF THOSE ITEMS CAN NOT BE REPLACED!!!!! When I try to get in contact with customer service people, they give me the run around tell me they are looking for my things or ignore my calls. I have never given them attitude and have been very patient. It has been a month since my move and NOTHING. They will not even send me a receipt, so I can file my claim.

I'm really grateful to have gotten help moving my furniture last weekend. I needed help moving my bed, mirrors, lamps, dressers, and other stuff and this was not something I could have done on my own. Getting all my stuff safely loaded onto the moving vehicles seemed like an easy task for these guys and they made sure to be extra careful with my valuables! They were also really careful with the breakable items I have too, thank God! Everything made it from point A to point B perfectly intact. I'm extremely grateful. Anthem moving is a very solid choice, i had little time and very little patience and these guys exceeded my expectations, everything was well taken care of, and nothing was broken, and they finished a day early. Great team great company.
