Worst moving company ever!! Completely ripped us off. A binding quote was $3200. They show up in. 40’ truck. I told them no way our stuff would fit in there & they insisted it would. Never told us size of truck. So we were not out of our sold house the day we were supposed to be. They show up the following day in a rented Budget Truck. Another 40’ truck. We had expected a semi from the very beginning. The moving guys said the price would now be $8800. I told them we could not afford that. Was told they would throw all our stuff in the driveway and made me sign the amendment under protest. Both of us are disabled & had no choice. When we reached Palm Coast, they demanded the $8800. I refused. I had tried calling the office several times with no response. I was willing to pay an extra $2000 but they never called back. The moving guys said they were leaving with our belongings. I had to try to run after them screaming for them not to leave & called 911. Police came, listed to both sides. Policeman said it was a civil matter but told me if I was you, I’d sue the hell out of them. At this point, the office refused to take my credit card & I had to go & find the bank we use for a certified check. Why was it our fault the truck was too small? That they had to rent a Budget Truck? I reported them to the FL Attorney General’s office and Elder abuse. We were told many movers were under investigation for doing this. We decided not to sue because $6000 was not enough to get an attorney involved. Nor was I in good enough health to take them to small claims court. This is a crooked company in my opinion that totally took advantage of us. Decided my only recourse would be to warn others this company is terrible and their estimator did a poor job. The moving guys expected a tip of 16%. I did not blame the workers, they were just doing as they were told. They were caught in the middle. I did give them each $100. Because I felt bad for them. Never use this company. Total ripoffs!

I know every other review is great so I thought my experience would be the same, but my experience with this company was less than ideal. I had scheduled to move and signed a contract to move on a Thursday about a month ago and the company overbooked their movers. I got called several times the day before and day of pushing the time back further and further that they would arrive. They were so backed up that they wanted to move me on the next day (Friday) even though I signed a contract and paid a deposit for Thursday when I needed to be out of my apartment. So I refused to be moved the next day because I needed to be out Thursday. The excuse was that "life happens" and other unprofessional comments. Come to find out the real issue was that the job before mine took longer than they expected because the client had 3 times the amount of things he told the company he had. Therefore, the company catered to that client and did not follow through on the agreement I had made with them. I had to call the company multiple times in order to convince them to actually come Thursday. I had to complain for something to happen. In the end, the movers (Lael and Erik) arrived at 7 pm when they said they would be there at noon originally. I was not out of my apartment until 10 pm that night (It only moved that quickly because I had everything fully packed and organized). They were a pain to work with and not once did the owner reach out to me to apologize for the inconvenience and unprofessionalism. Unless your move is EXTREMELY flexible time-wise and a contract doesn't mean anything to you, I would NOT recommend this company. There was so much other negative stuff that happened that I do not even have room to add. The only positive thing I have to say is the movers themselves were hard workers and moved efficiently.

If I could give them Zero stars I would. These people are con artists, they give you a cheaper price and then charge you $400 in “packaging fees” when they arrive to get your things. Aside from that they promise you a delivery within 1-14 business days when in reality they don’t ship your belongings for about a month and when you call to check on your shipment the Customer Service representatives are rude and short with you telling you something different just to shut you up each time you call. THEN WHEN YOUR STUFF ARRIVES A MONTH LATER, everything was broken, furniture, TVs you name it! Broken. Delivery drivers say “it’s the type of wood they will not cover this wood it’s in the fine print of your contract”. I have no idea how this company has such good ratings on google but please, don’t trust them!! They have robbed us out of almost 2 grand. My husband is in the military we move often and this is my absolute worst experience. This company is a disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves robbing hard working people like this. Disgusted.

Moving can be stressful, to begin with. I hired America's movers inc on 10/20/2018, and I have to say that it was the worst moving experience of my life. The original appointment time was 9 AM, and the drivers arrived at 10 PM. We packed up most of the stuff they said they were too tired and would not be able to bring my furniture to the new address. So I called out of work the next day. Cary promised me everything would get done the same day. One of the drivers decided to EMPTY their bowel at my old address, did not flush the toilet and lit up a cigarette. How disrespectful was that? They needed up leaving my refrigerator behind because they had another customer furniture in the truck. Three days later they finally delivered my refrigerator. The fridge had dents and scratches all over. America's movers inc the drivers are unprofessional, and the lady Cary is a liar, the owner is incompetent. The things that you will go through with this company, it is not worth it hire someone else.

America's mover Efficient and professional mover team- George, Neil & Alan. They arrived on time , and got the job done in a timely manner. I was moving from an apartment to a two storey townhouse which involved extensive carrying of heavy bulky items to second floor, so I truly appreciate their hard works . All furnitures were wrapped & protected, and handkedhwith care. Except the company should provide 10 free wardrobe boxes, but only 4 available. Cary was the lady doing the booking , quoting. She was very responsive and friendly. The final cost was as expected. I would recommend this company!

I was really nervous about having someone I didn't know pack up my things. When the movers showed up they assured me that they would pack all of my things as if they were their own. Wow unpacking, I saw that that was true everything was wrapped with Care. Moving always takes longer than you think it will, and often it costs more than you can estimate. But, my next move if there is one, I would definitely call back American movers to move my things.

I just want to tell you how wonderful this company was and the 2 men that helped me move from Panama City, Florida after Hurricane Michael. I chose them because I needed help to relocate to Central Florida. I found them on line and they were so nice on the phone. Karen's voice was so calm and supportive. Erik Anderson and Lael Farias were also very professional and so nice. They wrapped all my furniture up and loaded up their truck as quick as they could. This is not a great moving company and the experience my wife and I have had has probably been the worst. Being in the military I've moved around alot. This company hires other companies to move your things instead of doing it themselves so they're essentially a middle man. I would never recommend this company for moving because the person on the phone promises one thing but when the movers get there it's another. On top of paying $400 for their proper packaging things still arrived broken. It's been over 3 months and have still not have gotten a call from them regarding the claim we had to file. They don't seem to care either because they don't answer their phones or emails. I'll never use this company again and I would make sure my friends and family wouldn't either. There's much better companies out there who actually care about their customers. Don't just take my word for it. There are other people who have had the same horrible experience we had which you can read from the reviews.

First, I'd like to say thank you for being honest, affordable and helping my grandmother move. I called americas movers and had them come to my grandmothers house. She was downsizing and needed her entire home packed. Jordan the owner came out to her home and did a free onsite estimate. He was very polite and respectable. We want to say how pleased We were with the fine men who moved our house yesterday. To the man, they went out of their way to introduce themselves in a heartfelt way to my wife and me. We were so impressed they took the time to make that connection, especially to my very ill wife. Then worked hard without a break until the 5.5 hour task was done. They were careful to walk me through each room to make certain they had gathered everything. They were careful not to damage any of our furniture. Dave, the supervisor, was a cut above. He was patient and kind, and gave gentle but firm direction to his men. It was a sight to see. He also patiently explained all the nuances of our contract in plain language. All in all, each of the four were fine men that I would recommend highly to anyone. Cary and Rachel were also remarkable and worked hard to make sure we were happy at this extremely stressful time. A very, very positive experience.

I am giving this company a 5 star but I do have some comments to share. First I want to say Cary is amazing she works in the office and works with you to ensure she is providing the best customer care. I moved from Ft. Lauderdale to the Orlando area and I was very nervous about the long drive with my items and the notorious jacking up of the price that happens to so many of us when we decide to go with a moving company and Cary assured me my quote would be what I paid and she was correct! The delivery crew were amazing! They set everything up in my new home and when I realized things would look better in different parts of the home they were open to move it around for me! I had issues with Jordan at the pick up location. He had a bad two days, yelled at my mother, was rude, tried to give me 2 minutes to decide if I was going to continue to use the company because I had additional stuff that would jack my price up by $500 but like I said I called Cary and she worked it all out for me. So I share that to say, that sometimes things are not going to always go perfectly, this is a real review, but as long as the people in charge never forget customer care and satisfaction a client can still have a great experience. Despite his attitude and disrespect we were able to work it out and he packed all of my items, they switched crews which I was initially upset about but when the new crew arrived in Orlando I was so happy they decided to switch crews! The truck arrived an hour after we did and overall if your looking for good people, reliable, and a reputable moving company...this is the one!

Probably one of the worst service business experiences of my life. I hired the movers based on their pricing, but beware they're just quoting you a minimum price to get in the door. Once they arrived the moving coordinator tried to have me sign a waiver that stated they cannot be responsible for breakables unless I purchased their overpriced moving supplies, and if they broke anything my contents would only be worth $.60 per pound. Are you joking? Then they got Jordan on the phone to explain what the moving coordinator just explained to me when I am perfectly capable of listening and understanding so I walked away. He said if I didn't sign they would leave so I told them go ahead because I had a backup plan. Long story short is the place is a ripoff, the owner talks down to customers and makes empty threats. The guys worked hard and nothing broke at the end of the day, but beware of this company because they try to take advantage if you let them.

Just like every other person that has been in a home for a long time and then moves, I had a lot more stuff then I believed I did. The guys were so personal, professional and patient. They carefully inventoried everything and went through the checklist with me slowly and methodically. The truck was packed carefully and securely, no wasted space. Items that I neglected were pointed out and then quickly wrapped, taped or boxed and then loaded up. What I originally estimated to be a simple move using three quarters of a truck ended up being a full truck plus more. Not one negative comment was made about my short-sightedness. If you recognize someone doing outstanding work then please acknowledge it. I truly appreciate the staff at Americas???Movers and highly and highly recommend them.

He is rude and unprofessional, and is in cohoots with life storage on Sheridan st. He subleases his storage unit for 50 dollars with no access to your items. He is already in violation of his leasing contract with Life Slorage and they know he is doing this. It seems shoddy business practices is common in Florida. It is worth every penny to higher professionals and not Wannabe’s with no office location , a girl on a landline from home and an owner getting over on what he thinks is a moving business. The reviews are lies. Look them up and choose wisely my google reviewers. I can take pictures too. Be wary.!

I'd rate AM's service as 5 star. During the move, we had some logistical issues at no fault of the company. AM management and their team of movers worked overtime to keep the transition smooth and timely. The men on site are very courteous and professional. What a pleasant experience I had in dealing with these people! From Cary, who really worked with me on pricing and timeline of delivery, to the movers, Eric Anderson and Lael Farias. They were so cautious in the packing and handling of my furniture. I can tell that they took pride in their job, even shared some tricks of the trade on how to pack glass. These people are very trustworthy and professional plus communicated well from start to finish. I respect hardworking people!
