They were hired to move an upright piano from bottom floor to the 4th floor--nothing else. But they dropped the piano so that the attached music stand came off and the piano was sitting on the keyboard side. As a result the piano top would not close. They agreed to fix the lid, but not for tuning the piano, which would be necessitated by dropping it.

I got 3 quotes to move items from my dad's estate to my sisters place. I really liked the structure of their services. The one time transportation fee with an hourly rate for loading and unloading. The men were very courteous, timely and efficient. In spite of the 4" of snow overnight, the move went very well.

This was my first move where I paid for movers and I will use Two Men and a Truck if I ever need to move in the future. I had a 3 bedroom apartment and moved into a house and they had my apartment loaded on the truck in about an hour and a half and we were completely unloaded in the new house by 1230. The movers were kind and courteous and took care not to damage my belongings. I thought the pricing was pretty fair and they came in at about half of what the estimate was that they gave me when I first booked the service with them (maybe not typical but good for me). Would highly recommend.

The absolute best move I have ever had. The two gentlemen that helped me were very professional and we'll groomed and dressed. The weather was very wet and rainy and they took great care in making sure my belongings were kept as dry as possible and placed a mat on my flooring to keep it dry and clean. I will never use any other moving company again. I would also like to add that the people in the office were very friendly and respectful and made sure to make this move as easy as possible. Ben and Junior were very knowledgeable and caring. When they arrived they went over the contract and we went over what we needed moved. After packing the truck, they drove to the new address where we walked through the house described what was going in each room. Then as they had questions on items, they would verify where we wanted the item to go. They did not complain about moving items that were already in the new house to a new location. We used Two Men and Truck for a move from the sale of our home to a temporary apartment/storage and to our newly constructed home. The first move was improperly quoted even with us doing most of the packing, disassembling of furniture, etc that was originally included in the quoted price/time. The movers then placed items in the wrong place (apartment v storage) even though we denoted all storage items with a blue sticker, then charged us for their mishap. We went ahead and went with Two Men for the second phase, only to find that the original crew that moved our furniture improperly stacked furniture and boxes in storage resulting in a damaged bed (less than 6 months old), destroyed electronic fireplace (less than 6 months old), broken china, dishes, pictures; damaged/scraped master bedroom furniture, a tower of the entertainment center was leaned against another piece of furniture causing it to become unlevel. The new crew did a great job of moving items, but the damage was done. Additionally, Two Men misquoted the time/price again, resulting in more fees. We requested a refund of the second or first move since the second crew did their job well, but the damaged furniture was too much to be "patched" up and the fact that the office staff misquoted both moves. No resolution. I'd not recommend this company which probably was good at one time, but with their lazy approach to hiring and training movers and poor customer service has greatly declined. The absolute worst result for what should be an exciting time. Find another company to work with.

So I *have* to start out saying what a pleasure it was to use the website to set up the estimate. I worked in ecommerce for a long time, and I've seen my share of online forms and ordering processes, so I say with a lot of confidence that this was one of the best data entry processes I've ever used. It stepped me through the process, specifying the rooms that would be moved, having me choose exactly what big pieces of furniture or appliances, and doing it all in a way so that I wouldn't leave anything out, with lots of helpful hints and suggestions of typical pieces of furniture. (Only gripe is that I couldn't plug in a custom piece of furniture. For example, we needed to move one of those over 5'-tall cat condos, and there wasn't an option that would let us plug in, for example, "Other: Cat furniture, about 5'8"). (OK, and here's a spoiler alert about that web form, so don't read this paragraph if you haven't tried the form yet: It started out asking for my first name, last name...and favorite color. Why? No reason. Seriously, I think they were just trying to break the ice before going on with all the "business" stuff of getting the necessary information. But that's not all: Any color I typed, the box color would change to it. Seriously. I tried to test it with with weird names like "chartreuse", "mauve", "beige". Couldn't fool it, the box would change to that color automatically and accurately. After playing with this for a few minutes, I tried "rainbow". Yup. It changed to a cool rainbow color. If I'd thought of it, I would have tried other things like "camouflage" or "psychedelic".) So about the actual moving experience, we couldn't be happier about choosing Two Men and a Truck to move our heaviest items for us (which was all we needed them to do, though they showed up with a big truck because, hey, why not?). They were on-time, took great care with our furniture (for example, wrapping our recliners in plastic wrap) and with the properties themselves (no scratches or dents in walls, railings, etc.), and completed their work well within their original time estimate. Best of all, they were truly great people. Marcus was very friendly and professional, and his good attitude and personality helped put me at ease right away that he and Andy would do right by us (and Andy couldn't have been nicer and was likewise extremely professional). They were even helpful in ways I wouldn't have predicted. At one point, Marcus called me over to ask whether the way I had specified to place our washing machine and drier would make the best use of the small room they were in. He was absolutely right, and I was glad to have that brought to my attention *while* the movers were there instead of having to move it myself after the fact. Later on, they showed me how my instructions for setting up a dresser near our bed left very little room for opening the drawers. Right off the bat, they suggested moving the dresser to a recessed part of the room (which I had never even considered), and that turned out to be the perfect solution. Two Men and a Truck may have been slightly more expensive than some of the competition, but what we got in return was effective and professional service from great folks who can think as well as they can lift. I hope we don't need the services of a mover for a long time to come, but if we do, I'll return to their website. Maybe by then it will ask me for my favorite video game.

WOULD NEVER USE THIS LOCATION! On March 2nd I had a terrible experience with two men and a truck, and one month later I am still not able to get a resolution from the company. I was quoted for a 2-4 arrival time, so I had to take off work as well as, by request, paid to board my two dogs during the day, both of which ended up being unnecessary and a loss of money. At 4:30p I had not been contacted about my movers. I called the two men and a truck local office, the service center, and the HR department and never got an answer. By 6:30pm I had left several messages and still heard nothing (mind you I needed to be out of my place by end of day March 2). Finally, after picking up the dogs and proceeding to my evening dinner plans, after the business had closed, two movers arrived as it was getting dark outside forcing me to cancel my evening with family and rush to meet the movers. I had 12 items to be moved, already unassembled and ready to go. They took 2 and a half hours to load the truck and 2 hours to unload it at my new home only 2 miles away. They spent the entire time arguing with each other, saying derogatory things, heating up food from their lunch boxes, answering personal phone calls, overall hindering the process, and also damaging some of my belongings. I kindly offered each of the men a bottle of water on the counter in the beginning of the move, and 2.5 hours in one of the men demanded me to fetch him his water before he would drive the truck to my new location while I was in the process of moving smaller items. No please, no thank you. Finally, the men finished after 10pm. Two men and a truck is refusing to acknowledge the delay in their process, the unprofessional behavior of their movers, and the lack of care for their customers experience and concerns. I would never recommend this franchise to anyone.

I moved to Wichita from Detroit 3 years ago. Since I've been here I've moved 3 times.(I don't like the apartments here ;) ) 2 men and a truck took care of every move. They are very polite. They are extremely efficient. I have some very heavy items and they never complain or fail to move them safely. The price is a tad high, however, the price is worth it because they move you completely. I was completely moved in under 5 hours and I didn't have to lift a finger. They make sure to take every precaution to ensure my things were moved without being broken... in all of my times moving with this company they have never failed to move me without a single thing being broke. So read this review, ask yourself how much you're willing to pay to get your things moved safely and quickly, subtract $200 from that total, then call them. I'm writing this review only to help those who really want to know if a company can help them. With that, this company has never failed to move me quickly and promptly. This was either my third or fourth time using Two Men and a Truck. I have always had an excellent experience with the office staff & the moving team. I had an especially difficult move from Charlotte to Boone about 10 years ago and the movers stayed in great spirits and were just as helpful as they could be. This past move from one location to another about 20 minutes away went off without a hitch. I had a 3rd mover for this one. I was moving a piano and thought an additional person would be best. During the move, a supervisor came by and he offered to help move the piano with them. I felt special to have 4 people to move it, especially since I was nervous about the piano due to the shape of it. I will continue to use this company for future moves and will recommend them to anyone.

The only reason that I am leaving three stars is because of the marketing and management team behind Two Men and a Truck. My God, we did business over a week ago and you are still asking me how you did. I answered the survey, not because I wanted to, but because I know that's how your employees get their time off and bonuses. It is a ridiculous way to pay your people when they work so hard anyway. Second, I am the customer. Stop making me do your work for you. I reviewed your employees, I answered your questionnaire, and yet you continue to send me emails and text messages asking how you did. How about reading what I already said and then leaving me alone like any other business would? I don't want to have a relationship with you. I simply wanted to move my stuff, hopefully for the last time. Heaven forbid, if I ever need to move again, you can rest assured that I will call your company. You do great work. But if you asked me repeatedly again to review and rate and grade Etc everything about you, I will charge you $129 an hour for my time the same way you charged me.

I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. If you make a mistake own up to it. They failed to wrap my refrigerator and did compensate me for scratches. For that I was thankful. A few months later I found out because of them not wrapping my refrigerator...one of the hoses connected to the refrigerator was slightly loose and created a slow leak. They are saying they aren't liable. If they would have wrapped the refrigerator like they say they do on their website, this wouldn't have happened.

We’ve successfully used TMAAT many times before, this was our first experience with this location. The Charlotte group damaged a lot of high dollar items and despite us paying for extra insurance, they have yet to reimburse us ANYTHING after 1 year. They came up with all sorts of reasons why the reimbursement was taking so long until we finally gave up pursuing them. Our experience was so bad that it couldn’t have been isolated, so I find it odd that many of their reviews on their web site and here are so positive. Then again, I logged a negative review on their site that has never shown up!

A year ago I used Two Men and a Truck to Move from Concord to Huntersville and had no issues and had a wonderful experience. I decided to use them again this past year when moving from Huntersville to Cornelius based off that experience. Now, no two experiences are the same but my last move has been a nightmare of an experience. To top it all off this company has not done anything to help the situation. First off, they never sent me an email confirmation of my move after I asked them several time to do so. The last time I moved I had two men and it took me four hours to move. This time I had three men with an elevator on one side and it took them 6 1/2 hours to move the same amount. Secondly, I had paid the extra $120 to ensure my property was to be delivered to the second location in the same condition it was. At the end of the move when I brought up to the driver that there was a scratch/debit in my very expensive dresser he first played the “I don’t know where that came from”, game. I politely asked the driver what the procedure was to have this looked into. He did eventually write this up and I do you have proof of this. I have called and left a message for the two men and a truck movers the same day after the movers left to follow up with my terrible experience and the incident with my dresser. I gave them a week to call me back in which they have not. I have made several attempts to call them in which there is never a person available to answer the phone. I will NEVER use this company again. EVER.

Two Men and a Truck are excellent! Talked to Mary, very efficient and professional, who set our appointment and lined up the truck. Our movers were TJ Dozier and Jacob Meza. Yesterday they moved an entire house of furniture and belongings across town. EXCEPTIONAL in everything they did: called ahead to let us know they were on their way, arrived at 8 am and did not stop till 4:30, CAREFULLY packed furniture with pads and plastic wrap, paid hourly but HUSTLED the entire day, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL and THOUGHTFUL in every detail from explaining contracts to process of loading truck, took GREAT CARE backing up 26 foot truck into long driveway and never hit yard. Four boxes we had packed improperly without a lid. They were KIND enough to offer to move those to our van so we could haul them. Anything we asked or needed they were there with a smile and OUTSTANDING attitude. The guys worked well together as well as with us — such GREAT attitudes! We are a Christian family and appreciated there was no foul language and felt FORTUNATE to have these two OUTSTANDING young men with a FABULOUS work ethic and attitude. It would have taken us a week to do what these 2 young men did in 8 hours. I can’t thank them enough!

Garbage company with lying staff. They posted their own reviews, if you read them and look at who's posting the reviews and carefully read it you will see. I know because i worked for them and the employees were always forced to post a review. There is probably 3 or 4 other moving companies here that's cheaper and opened longer. Research for yourself.

My experience with two men and a truck started out good until about halfway through the move. They destroyed a desk while trying to disassemble it. I had paid extra for insurance to cover such mishaps. The worker said after it was destroyed by "your covered ha ha Ha 100% then ha ha ha 75% or so." Then one of the movers Cut his finger on the washer. They didn't want to file an injury report so he set out for some time. Then they brought to me a sheet that said I had to pay extra because they couldn't get it done in time. I refused to sign the sheet because everything they were moving was listed They said well the fishing poles weren't listed and the five extra garden tools were not listed. They said it would take them an extra 2 1/2 hours to move those items. When I refused to sign the movers were angry. Then they started talking about how great overtime was. Overall the movers worked hard. My experience with the claims department on the destroyed desk has so far been horrible. I spoke with the guy that offered 25% less than I paid for it a year ago because it was depreciate it after a year. Throughout the conversation he told me if I denied the charge on my credit card because they wouldn't pay for the desk in full that he would turn me into collections like all the rest. And said if I didn't like what they were offering then I would get nothing. Keep in mind I paid an additional $200 for extra insurance. I will never do business with this company again and I would suggest you think long and hard before you decide to do business with them. They are not reasonable, and look for any excuse to overcharge and underpay.

This is the second time that we have used 2 Men & a Truck to move us. and as with the first it was a very pleasant experience. Right from the time we scheduled the move, the office kept in touch and followed up to confirm when the movers would arrive. The movers were were very professional in how they handled out possessions. they want over what was to be done before they started. They were courteous and worked fast and efficiently, and paying y the hour this was very much appreciated. Especially when we had a situation with a different company where they didn't seem to concerned with how long it took to move us. When it was all done I was happy to write the check, because I felt they not only did a great job, but also by working as well as they did they were worth it. I opted for their full value protection plan during the moving process, and it has taken almost THREE months for them to fulfill their commitment of repaying me for the original value of my TV - they have still yet to completely pay me back. The office called multiple times to confirm date/time and answered all questions that came up beforehand. The 3 movers were professional, friendly and worked very hard on a day when the temp was over 85. A+++++, Great, use again. One of the workers called in sick, and the manager himself filled in. The workers were Clean, in-uniform, polite, fast, careful,k well trained, and finished the move faster then the bid, so was charged less than the bid. They will not do certain tasks such as disconnect waterlines from ice makers, so have a tool person handy. We would highly recommend.

I actually used this company because a young man came to Morg's Diner and had the company Tee-shirt on. Decide to ask some questions.. ended up setting up move date. The move was awesome from beginning to end. Movers explained paperwork to my wife .. wrapped T.V well and took advice from my wife on where to move things or what ways to take with items. Movers were very nice and respectful to wife and family. Although I was at work I appreciate all that was told to me. We will be using you again when we become new homeowners. Although I would suggest that a new system be put in place or more staff be hired to man the phone lines and company websites. I had to call to follow up on email and recall to check up on voice message as my move date change. I would use and recommend this excellent company again.

I paid these guys to take my furniture and household goods and move them into their storage facility. I then paid them a monthly fee to store my items. After a year, I paid them again to return my items and move them into my new residence. A new rug and its pad were missing ($2,000). I told them they were missing that day (they are clearly on the inventory list) and they thought they were just misplaced somewhere. They tried to find them for a few weeks before it became apparent they had simply lost them. They acted like they were going to honor my claim to replace them for weeks but were really just stringing me along hoping I would drop it. They finally admitted they just weren’t going to do anything, claiming for the first time that they are not responsible for people’s things they lose (

Would be nice if they taught their drivers to not block in 4 cars to make their job easier. People have things to do and we can’t be expected to go knock on 20 doors in an apartment building to find the driver and ask if he can move his truck so I can leave. Then be rude on top of it. Saying all I had to do was come find him. Like I said, shouldn’t have to knock on 20 doors to find you. Don’t block people in, period.

Despite significant purging knowing where everything would be placed was a lot of decision making during the unloading. They were very professional and personable. The made quick work of what I consider a lot of hard work. The price was in the middle of the 3 quotes we got and they guaranteed next day delivery. We could not be more satisfied and I highly recommend this company

We were moving from Lombard to Bolingbrook and my wife's mother had had several great moves with this company. Mother-in-law stated movers were very courteous and even wrapped and moved things that they typically don't wrap/move. We schedule and are told it will be about $3k for two 24-foot trucks and six guys. Fine. They arrive on time and come to walk around the house. We show them where everything is, and then I take them to the basement. The basement has an untreated sewage problem, confined to one bathroom, that is the reason we stopped renting. I explained to them that I had stacked all the boxes and other things right around the stairs so that no one had to go far into the living room. I showed them some boxes in the storage area as well. This area was also untouched by sewage. They go back to the truck and then a supervisor (not on site) calls us and says they can't move us. My wife asks why on earth not, and they said several things: basement was hazmat. Sure, I agree, just don't move the basement and my wife and I will figure it out. Whole house smells like cat pee they said. I dispute this and it was confirmed by the second moving company that we hired, who said it smelled fine. They also said there was too much clutter and there were boxes blocking the furniture. Um, yes, please move boxes first, then furniture. Where are we supposed to put boxes? And as for the clutter, it was minimal, confined to certain areas, and not blocking anything. My wife tried to reason with them but they refused, stating they would only come back if we had a hazmat remediation of the basement. So we freaked out, and we called Super Movers. The house was in the exact same condition as earlier in the day, and Super Movers said it was perfectly fine and no problem for them to move. I told them they did not have to do the basement and had not even intended on showing them the basement, but they insisted and said that it was definitely smelly in the basement, but not a big problem. They were able to come same day (see my review for them) and saved the day for us. When the owner came the next day, he said that they frequently get moves that Two Men and a Truck have bailed on or won't do. He didn't even know who we were planning to use and asked, "Two Men and a Truck, right?" Oh, also, Super Movers beat the TM&T price by $700.

I ask for an estimate for our move that is Out about 45 days. I asked for the estimate over email and it took three days for them to get back with me to let me know that they would have to have someone come out. I let them know that we may be having them pack for us depending on the cost. They couldn’t even get someone out to my house to estimate for two weeks. I let them know that this was unacceptable due to the fact that if I didn’t want to hire them for packing I would need to start packing myself. They seem unsympathetic, and then willing to except the urgency. I also emailed back the person that sent me the email and they didn’t seem phased at all by the fact that they could’ve lost a $2000 moving job. Though they never completed actual services I do not recommend them due to not even getting through the process with them.

After using 2m&a truck once before, I thought it the easy choice for what I thought would be an easy job of moving a side by side fridge/freezer and an upright deep freeze. This was NOT as easy as I first thought. But Sylvester and Billy did a wonderful job. They were patient, efficient, and did a lot of work to try and make what I wanted happen. Taking every care (padding doors, using extra pads for delicate wood stairs, etc.) they worked as a team and we had a successful move!! I will call again if I ever need man power again!!!

Everything with our actual move went smoothly. I would give 4 stars for that portion & 0 for the follow up from office staff afterwards when things were missing. The men arrived a little late, but called to check in, which I appreciated. They loaded the truck quickly and efficiently. We were nervous that the truck had to stay overnight, out of our reach. We loaded the truck on Wed. & were closing on our new home on Thur. morning. We had to stay in a hotel Wed. night and the moving truck stayed in Charlotte and met us there the following day. When they were finished unloading my wife had to sign several papers confirming that everything had been delivered. The driver and his partner were great and very professional. I wasn't aware of anything missing. We had just bought a new home and a washer & dryer as well that we were moving in. I knew all the big stuff was there but it would've been impossible to know if any of the smaller items were gone. About a week later, we were getting ready for church when I noticed all of my long sleeve, thicker material shirts, all of my sweaters, and all of my ties were missing. We looked everywhere, and I knew exactly how / what I packed them in. They were nowhere to be found. My wife emailed Jazmin who had previously emailed her about our experience. She called and was directed to the claims department, left messages and someone finally called her back. The man that called, I believe his name is Bradley, said they had never had this issue before and to give him until the end of the day (this was 4/24) and he would call me back after he investigated the issue. She called back the following day after no one returned her call. She emailed Jazmin, again and she let her know that the guy she had spoken to, was out sick. It is now May 2 and no one has returned her calls. I can am extremely frustrated with this situation. So, beware before signing documents. It's partially our fault that we didn't go through every bag and box that we moved to ensure every article that we owned was present. But the lack of care that we received after calling about our concerns was what irritates us the most. I paid a lot of money to go with a reputable company instead of a local moving company with less reviews.

We have used your company in the past with good results. Our move on 8/14/18 was very disappointing. The team leader, Nate, seemed very knowledgeable and capable. He had 2 assistants (? one in training) who seemed inexperienced and careless. One was moving an antique double dresser by himself on a hand truck. The large item blocked his view and he did not see the dip in the building parking lot. The bureau fell on it's face onto the asphalt and was very severly scratched and a leg was broken. The item was NOT wrapped in a moving blanket. With such a large item precariously balanced on the hand truck and with his view obstructed, he probably should have had another mover holding the item in place and guiding him. Your company is sending the bureau for repair, but I question whether the excessive damage to the veneer can be fixed and it will take several weeks. Since the bureau was being moved to my 93 year old aunt in Assisted Living, we had to provide another bureau to be moved instead. All her clothing which was in the damaged piece had to be moved by us into suitcases to be transported to her. This bedroom set is my aunt's pride and joy and she is verry upset.

DO NOT hire TWO MEN AND A TRUCK if I could give them NO stars I WOULD. Two men and a truck completely DAMAGED my dining room table and sofa table that I received from my parents as a gift. The operations manager Jake DOES NOT want to fairly compensate me so that MY ITEMS can be replaced. On top of everything he ignore calls and emails which is VERY very unprofessional. I was quoted $950.00 for my move but the lazy movers went over and my final bill was $1300.00. My items WERE NOT properly wrapped and protected and they hit every speed bump and pot hole in site. Very poor service. There was no option i could submit the post without a star. They do not know the basics of how to tighten a screw and half the job were not/partially done. I had to hire a handy man to get those fixed. When i spoke to the customer care person he was asking for the receipt/bill which he could look into it, really funny to get an invoice for a 10 minute task. i wish i can give ZERO stars but it wont let me post. while the movers were good guys (nothing against them), the back office was the absolute worst customer service i ever experienced and would not wish on my worst enemy. the truck had a mechanical issue and wouldnt crank. it took them almost an hour & a half to get to someone else on site, and shop and truck yard is only 15 min away. they also tried to charge me for all of the extra time switching over from their junk truck to a new one (i only had 3 large items to move). they told me they called a tow company and said the tow company told them it would be 45 min wait, that was an in your face lie, they never called until hours later that day. due to that, their truck blocked me in my driveway for over 11 hours (almost 8 hours after the movers had left and 9 hours from when they said they called), so i was stuck at an empty house all day and couldn't leave. They only called me twice, once to try to overcharge me several hours later after they dropped off the items (and that was almost 3 hrs from time they said they called and it would take 45 min for tow), the second call was after almost 10+ hours of wait, just to tell me the tow truck was on the way. i had already received that call from the tow company as i personally had to followed up with tow company myself (could not trust them) so i already knew that fact. i called their office multiple times that day, and they didn't seem to want to help at all, said i'd have to wait, and would not own up to their falsehood. They had two Op Mgrs on duty, and both neglected to call that morning, and one of them is the one that lied to me in my face saying they called and the tow company said 45 min, and continued the falsehood that they called after i inquired later as to who at the tow company said this, and hours before they actually called, stating they could not remember who told them 45 min. That is unacceptable. When i tried to get satisfaction and justice over my lost time waiting and absolute neglect of caring and helping the customer by requesting a refund of what they did charge me, their quality assurance dept would NEVER call me to discuss this matter. He avoided to call or help or settle the actual grievance i had placed. Their replacement truck that morning damaged my yard by driving on it, and he seem to think that would fix the issue, and he felt it fair that i didnt get charged for all the hours they stated that took to move. I took this egregious action all the way up to the owner, the final reply from him was he sided with his mgmt team and said since i received services i still had to pay, even though it was negotiated down a few hours, i had to pay to be left in my yard and lied to and neglected all day. They would not consider my time and suffering worth anything, even after being abandoned at my house, blocked in and not able to leave, and horrible customer service and lack of care. They only care about the bottom line and themselves. i wont use this company ever again, and will continue to seek concessions and refund whether by social media assistance, the media, or whomever I need in order to get a full refund. My hope is to warn other so they wont have to experience this horrible customer service care ever as I will never promote to use them. it says "movers who care" as their motto and on their truck, and the moving guys on site did a good job, but the office, managers, quality assurance dept, and owner does not care about you, and will hang you out to dry if things go bad! Given the chance, they will overcharge you and neglect you as you, the customer, do not matter to them at all except for their financial benefit at your cost. Shame!

Wow, wow, wow... this company made our move go so easily it was unbelievable. We hired Two Men and a Truck at the last minute, to move the contents of a 2500 sf, 2 story home and a full 2 car garage, into a 1500 sf ranch style home with a garage. From the time they entered our home until they were completely finished they were courteous, respectful, and steady workers. When you hire someone by the hour to do a job this size you expect the worst to happen, longer hours than estimated, damage, working slowly, etc... none of this happened at all. They even asked permission to take a break, then recorded their down time on their paperwork. They were patient with us as we decided where to put things in the new home, and did some rearranging as we requested. We hired 4 men and 2 trucks, they called to let us know their arrival time, showed up on time and actually had a fifth man as a trainee that they did not charge me for. They had a plan, good leadership, and really seem to enjoy their work and each others company. Their hard work resulted in them finishing the job almost 3 hours less than the estimate, which saved me a lot of money, and earned them a nice tip which they deserved.I will definitely use this company again, and have already recommended to people I know that this is the company to use if they ever move as his team they actually made this move enjoyable because of their hard work, and fun, professional personalities. Used this company for a relocation from Ohio last summer. They underestimated the move and I had to last minute rent a U-Haul trailer to get everything out (had to move it myself--packed it until 3am). Workers were upset with supervisor on-site which had an impact on efficiency and why they basically quit at 6pm. Various items damaged and/or missing (i.e.,. Dewalt cordless drill). Called and completed post-move survey. Never received a callback. Will never use again nor will our company use them for relocating employees to Indy.

My first contact was with James who estimated and scheduled my move. He was spot-on with the estimate. His analysis of my household goods was perfect and resulted in an efficient, well-planned, economic move. I used two trucks and four guys...all were extremely profession, helpful, polite, and knowledgable about what they were doing. This is my 6th move in my life and the only time I didn't have damaged furniture! Not so much as a scratch! They even went out of their way to move some in-place items from the front of the property to the pool deck. The move went as planned and below the estimated cost! The moving service part was fantastic, but 1 star for customer service. It’s been six weeks since we moved and despite calling SIX times and having two emails, we have yet to have anyone come repair the damage the moving company did to our walls. At the time of the move, they documented the damage and said they would be in in touch within a week to make the repairs. Nobody ever called and we have reached our several times over the weeks, but have accomplished nothing. They either say they’ll call us back and nobody follows up or they say they’re coming, don’t show up, and don’t follow up. We are stuck now trying to decide if we should just give up and eat the cost or continue to hope they will eventually show up and actually complete the service they have promised. Very, very disappointing for nearly a $500 service.

Steve and Deveon were wonderful. I never saw movers wrap everything in plastic! When they placed the furniture at our new place, they asked if we liked the location, or wanted it moved! They took all garbage out at the end. They worked so hard, and I couldn't believe how fast it all went. Our belongings were in the best of hands. I needed to quickly move my mom's things out of an assisted living facility and into a nearby storage space. I called Two Men and a Truck based on a great prior experience with them (in another state). I was happy that they had a crew available when I needed it done (called on the Friday before Christmas and needed to move her things as early as possible the following week). The person on the phone walked through the process with me to understand how much help we would need, how many rooms they would need to pack, essentially getting all of the details necessary to provide a good estimate of time and cost. I was pleased with the estimates and received them in writing via email shortly after our phone conversation. The movers themselves were excellent. They arrived on time, and they were very professional in their conduct and mindful about how they handled her things. They also worked diligently, ensuring that the job was done as quickly as reasonably possible. At the end of the move, the actual charges were near the lower end of the estimated cost range provided prior to the move. Based on the two experiences I have had with Two Men and a Truck I won't hesitate to call them again in the future.

The product we received was completely unacceptable and most items will have to be repacked (e.g., glass items were placed in a box completely unwrapped and just labeled “glass”; boxes which came with the instructions to please repack were given tape lattice as lids (really??!?!?). It is embarrassing that this is offered as a service is this is deemed acceptable.

Used them to move pre-packed items from our house to a storage unit and they did an absolutely terrible job! Items were stacked/stuffed without care, upside down, and literally just thrown into the unit! Heavy things were placed on top of lighter things...resulting in plenty of crushed goods. The lead mover was gracious enough to attempt to re-organize some of the items at the front of the unit after he reviewed the slack job of the other movers, but it wasn't good enough. When we eventually had the items moved out of storage with another company, several items were found broken and damaged even while unpacking the unit. We estimate a couple of hundred dollars in damage, not to mention the various scratches, dents, and dings that remain on our furniture due to a lack of protection and faulty arrangement. They were also unprofessional, used profanity, and indicated that they clearly weren't satisfied with their jobs. I would recommend using another company - stay away!!!

Just requested a quote. Where I need my things picked up on one day and delivered the next they said I'd have to pay double the mileage charge because they would have to drive the truck back to their terminal in the same city I live in and hold it there overnight. That would be ok for a short distance local move, but it's a total ripoff where I'm going to do a instate move and they'd be charging me a mileage fee of just under $700. Double that for just driving their truck a few miles and holding it overnight. I don't think so!!! What planet do these people live on to think that's reasonable?

First time using movers in general and I will start by saying that this office has VERY POOR follow-up communication. I was told during multiple separate phone calls that I would get a reservation confirmation and a deposit receipt emailed as well as calls back from the franchise manager with regards to some other issues (mentioned below). I have received NO emails or return phone calls and it has been two months since our move. During our move, the movers were somewhat disorganized. Towards the end of loading the truck, they told us they could either fit a (relatively expensive) shelving unit we had OR everything else that was left so we opted for donating the shelving unit unfortunately. The movers then left without loading the remaining items or doing a final walk through, so we had given away our shelving unit for no reason. We then had to call the office and thankfully they arranged for another truck to pick up the rest of our items, but donating the shelving unit was a complete waste! And the next day, ALL of our items were on ONE truck! After finally speaking with the franchise manager over the phone regarding these issues, I was told that they would try and compensate us for the shelving unit that we were forced to get rid of, but as mentioned above, that was one of multiple follow-up phone calls that never happened. To their credit, I will say that the movers were polite and our items did arrive on time and in relatively good shape; however, moving is already so stressful and this experience made it even moreso and it definitely could have been better handled by them. We will NOT be using this company again.

Don't use these movers! On May 10, 2014 our belongings were moved from a nearby storage facility to our brand new custom home. The company website claims that the movers are well trained and careful, but we found this to be untrue. Though the gentlemen assured us moving our sofa bed to an upstairs room would pose no difficulty, they damaged every wall, corner and trim they passed on the way up and again on the way down. The legs on the furniture were also damaged. After much difficulty reaching the owner of the company, she claimed to be very sorry and arranged to send an individual to assess the damage. She called the morning of the appointment to cancel the assessment and directed us to "go ahead and repair the damage" and she would reimburse us the amount. We sent several pictures of the damage. After the work was complete, we sent the bill to the owner and she responded that the amount of $650 was unreasonable. The 5 walls and 4 corners and trim required attention for deep holes, not just scratches and the walls needed to be entirely repainted in our brand new home! She was the one who canceled the appointment and directed us to move forward. She never mentioned anything about a cost limit at any time. The company sent us only half the amount owed. Additionally, the movers complained about the length of time it was taking them to do the work, stating that they had expected to be able to attend a party in the early afternoon. They also refused to set up the bunk bed claiming inexperience. They suggested that rather then pay them $185 per hour to set it up, we should do it ourselves. Spare yourselves.

I was very disappointed with this company. They recently moved us and under estimated the costs way over. Their guys did a good job, but I have since found many scratches on furniture and they killed my 6 ft plant, which I had told them would be tough to move and had to ask them to bring it in from the cold. I will not use them again, in fact if anyone does, make sure you have them look at your items to be moved in person. They gave me a quote over the phone and I landed up paying more than the quote itself! The guys were good to work with, but overall, It cost me more than quoted and I had spoken w them 3x to confirm move.

These guys literally ran from the truck to the front door to keep loading. They were on time as scheduled and had everything moved in two hours. As the vice president of a local avionics repair facility one of my responsibilities is to hire employees. I could only hope to find people who represent my company as well as these two did theirs. These four guys not only walked fast, they actually ran at times to different rooms to gather things. This was a very large move with several heavy and difficult items. Couple Complaints: 1. The logistics of the movers. The movers had already moved 2 times before me, so they showed up exhausted. They mentioned that their manager hadn't scheduled my move until that morning, although I booked my move almost 2 months in advance. 2. The movers ended up scamming me. They claimed their payment system was down and they insisted I go to an ATM which I did, and they over charged me per hour. Two Men and a Truck ended up mailing me a check and resolving the issue, but I def won't be taking this risk again and will be skeptical with workers in the future. 3. The movers were very unprofessional, and damaged my things. Dragging my mattress up dirty stairs, dropping boxes, etc... I understand it's difficult to control employees, but I write this as a warning for consumers to be somewhat cautious when working with moving companies or anyone for that matter.

Movers Who Care-that is their company slogan. What a joke! They claim no responsibility for missing items-why-because no one confessed to stealing them. Really?! What a surprise! Management and operations are just awful. All I can say is do NOT trust them. If you do hire them-do not take your eyes off of them for a second! It will take a long time for me to recover from this one.

Used this company twice in the last couple months. We moved the contents of our entire house to storage during remodel. The first move our refrigerator ended up with some small dents in one of the doors due to the difficulty fitting through the front door. We called and the door was replaced. I was having hardwood floors installed and, much to my surprise, the installer told me that my piano needed to be moved into the garage. I called Two Men and a Truck and they had 3 movers here the next morning. They removed the legs and foot pedal and padded/wrapped the piano. They left it on the cart in my garage and 2 weeks later returned to reassemble it and set it back in place. The guys were dependable, friendly and efficient. The foot pedal was not working properly after assembly and the guys diligently worked on it when I pointed it out. It is still not quite right but I am going to have my piano tuner take a look at it. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.

The first thing they all did was come over and introduce themselves and shook my hand. They looked at everything, put a plan together and worked as a team for 10 hours straight in high temperature and kept a great attitude They ensured things were wrapped properly, placed in the truck where it wouldn't get damaged, and unloaded everything at the new house making sure the new floors were protected. Second time I've used Two Men and a Truck. First of all, the movers themselves were AWESOME! Can't say enough good things about them. The billing in question, is another matter. The truck the guys had that day was not operating as it was supposed to and hence, took them longer to get to my apartment from base. On the way to my new place, the truck again was not operating as it should and eventually broke down on the side of the road. They supposedly credited me the down time sitting on the side of the road, but I was promised by the supervisor who came to my new apartment, that they would look in to not charging for some of the cost associated with the truck not operating at more than 55-60 mph and the extended amount of drive time. They didn't and the end cost for my move was a couple hundred dollars more than the quote I was given. Again, can't say enough about the guys in the trucks and how awesome they were, how professional they were, and how great they were to deal with. There seem to be a lot of communication issues once you get past the guys in the actual trucks. Called for a quote, even after hearing horrible things about this company/specific location. Had a firm moving date that couldn’t be changed. Instead of trying to work around and offer me solutions they told me to basically kick rocks. I’d avoid these guys like bubonic plague. Zero customer service
