Dan was extremely fair in his pricing and showed up when he said he would. We needed a dining room set and some rather large rugs and other non-essentials picked up from our house located in the shore area and moved to our son's home in the Wilmington. His house is located in Greenville and the roads are very twisty and crazy. He got the furniture there in one piece and was able to get them in the house and maneuver around my son's seven children. Job well done!

USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! Initially had a very good contact with an associate. A move was scheduled for a specific day and time and I was assured “100%” that movers were available and ready . I rented a vehicle based on this contact. The day of the move, I verified via text that the movers were on their way to my home. I waited a few hours then attempted to contact associate by phone. It went to voice mail the entire day. That was two days ago and after several attempts to contact Co. via phone and email, I have gotten zero response !! Go somewhere else for your moving needs or waste your hard earned money renting a vehicle you’ll never use. Absolutely the worst business transaction I have ever had!!!

I ended up using DMS for 3 days straight and couldn’t be happier. These were always prompt, professional, and anxious to please. Daniel and his crew went beyond the normal role of mover and help me deliver donations, pack up furniture and files I forgot, and remove hardware from wall mounts and TV brackets. They were great and I feel like I had friends move me this time. I highly recommend Daniel and DMS.

This is possibly the worst experience with any company I've ever had. I've never written a review in my life but will in this case. I was having a few pieces of furniture moved - a couch, 3 little end tables, a chair with an ottoman and a dining room table with chairs . The dining room table had to be taken apart and put back together to move it - when the guys arrived the one Ollie was very nice ( I was so impressed with him I went to get tip money to tip him with when they left) . They put my table together but when they turned it over there were bubbles/cracks where the screws went in underneath.. when my boyfriend and I said something was wrong the one gentleman IMMEDIATELY started acting rude saying they didn't do anything wrong and saying they didn't screw anything in ( ummm you just did in front of us and you had to to put the table together). He continued to be rude until finally the other guy apologized. I tried to call owner and texted him but he never replied- this was at 5:30. Finally at 8:00 I texted him and he IMMEDIATELY became rude saying he was was his daughter and it was 8:00 - well he never replied and the incident had just happened 2 1/2hrs previously - I stopped texting him when he said he was with his daughter but he continued texting me for next half hour becoming ruder and ruder . He said he told me I had to have a contract signed by his guys which he NEVER mentioned to me and his guys never mentioned- I did get a contract from him but NO mention of having to have it signed. I was upset at time and said it was a $1500 table (purchased at Johnny Janosiks 2 yrs ago as a set ) when I got the receipt from them it was $1200 and I said sorry I made a mistake - which I knew I would have to provide a receipt anyway but he (the owner) said I lied about price of table- this man was just rude and condescending the whole time through text and never once apologized until I told him he hadn't apologized and even then it was done sarcastically. I wish I could post actual pictures of his text to me- I've never been so upset in my life. I paid the man and gave him his deposit like he asked and his company made the mistake but he was NOTHING but awful to deal with. He kept saying it was minor damage (they put big screws where little ones should have went and actually busted top of table) but then said he would have someone fix it but they would have to take it for 2-4 weeks - why would such MINOR damage take that long. Do not recommend this company to anyone ever. Again the one guy Ollie was very nice but the rest of them - AWFUL

Extremely rude over the phone. Never experienced the actual company because the person on the phone (I believe it was the owner) was extremely rude. Advised him I needed to discuss it with someone and call him back. He said if you don't book it now, don't even waste my time I'm very busy right now. WHAT!?! Oh and they were obviously on their cell phone....is there any companies in this city that operate out of an actual office and not from their mobile phones?! Unbelievable!

I called them to help with unloading 2 PODS and a U-Haul when my wife and I moved to Rehoboth. They were very professional and able to accommodate my change of plans when one of the PODS was delayed by 2 days. They were very punctual and extremely careful with the items being moved not a thing was damaged or even scratched. I will continue to use them for any moving jobs I have in the future and fully recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers in the Delaware area.

Dan and his brother recently moved me and it was freezing cold, They were always smiling and making me laugh and felt extremely comfortable which is everything to me! They work wonderful as a team been in the business for over 10 years, very polite, professional , clean cut great hospitality , Prices are almost half from 2 men in a truck! They moved my 2 friends and they had great experiences as well, hard workers that work at a pace I have never seen before!!! I respect small businesses and ecspecially family owned because of how hard they work! I will use Dan & Damon again this spring time! Definitely request that crew! 2 thumbs up

Complete nightmare of a move. Didn't show up on time two completely different prices from what he gave me originally. Broke a good portion of high-value China. And one of the workers named Damien or claimes to be One of the business partners has charges pressed against him of Robbery and theft over missing jewelry of our move. They are complete nightmare and so was this whole move please do not ever use them

My fiance and I were getting ready to move in Lewes, DE. Our new location was about a mile from our current location. I contacted Daniel at Delaware Moving Solutions for an estimate. $100 Deposit via check. Balance after move will being $450. Deposit was sent to location through mail. Deposit was cashed soon after. After securing a date, Daniel sent me about 3-4 invoices before information was corrected. Daniel offered boxes and tape per email and dropped them at my location at no cost. A few days before the move, I contacted Daniel via phone to ask him if he would like to do the move on Sunday May 14 due to storm warnings Saturday May 13. He was more than happy to switch the date. I verbally reminded him that it was a Sunday and also Mother's Day and to see if our cost of the move would need to be revised. He stated that it was "not a problem at all and he wouldn't do that to me". We confirmed Sunday May 15th as our move date. I emailed him to set up a time - 7:30am to start the move. He stated that 9:00/9:30 was the average start for moves so I agreed that was fine. The night before the move (Saturday May 13), I receive an email from Daniel stating: Hey Stephanie I totally forgot tomorrow was mother's day and I have plans with my family who are coming in town. I apologize, and I can do your move on Tuesday. If this is unacceptable, I can do your move tomorrow around 11 1130. (Tomorrow being Sunday May 15). I responded to the email immediately saying 11:00/11:30 worked because my home was packaged and furniture all broken down for the move and Tuesday was not available due to work schedules. I received no response and Delaware Moving Solutions never showed up for my move. I called the location - no answer, mailbox full and no emails were not answered. Daniel responded later that afternoon after I spent 7 hours moving myself saying he told me he couldn't do it. Daniel said he would not refund my deposit due to me using boxes (that were offered free of charge) and changing the move date (He cancelled and did not show up not me).
