Great company! Couldn’t be any smoother than the process I was just put through. From speaking to Jade over the phone to coordinate the dates to being contacted by David Mason for checking how it went, it couldn’t be any better. Everyone has different experiences. Ours was not good. Researched this company before signing the contract. It was expensive and included full replacement value insurance. We essentially had 2 moves. One was local from house into storage (climate controlled) for two months. The second was long distance after the storage period. Some furniture arrived damaged and some furniture arrived soaking wet including the moving pads the furniture was wrapped in. A kitchen table and chairs had mold on them. My photos don't lie and were taken as the furniture was brought in the house. Repair costs on some furniture was greater than the value but they would not pay full replacement cost unless we gave up the pieces; a couple of which had sentimental value. In my opinion the cost of long distance moving and insurance is a legal scam. If you are young enough to do it yourself, I suggest going this route.

I had a great experience with Siracusa moving! They were in frequent contact about the status of my move and arrived right on time. They did all the work for me and halfway through my unpack I have yet to find anything damaged. I would recommend Siracusa moving to anyone planning a relocation.

Packing and unpacking crew were amazing! On time, very efficient and helpful with questions. Nothing was broken or significantly damaged in the move. The coordinator I was set up with was very hard to get in contact with and was slow in getting the move process set up.

I was really impressed by the attention to detail during the entire process by putting down boards to protect our hardwood floors, communicating with one another to prevent any wall damage and assisting with unpacking bulky items. TERRIBLE! This is the primary contracted mover for a large Fortune 500 company united in their aircraft engine, elevator, and air conditioning technologies. We moved with them twice and both times were awful. Having moved multiple times with the military, I rate Siracusa as THE WORST! First move: dishonest drivers and untrained/reckless crew "lost" a $500 ladder, multiple tubs missing, many items broken, unwrapped mattress/couch/love seat and dragged them all across floor of apartment stairs/hallway/entryway (which was disgusting as it was the end of winter in Connecticut). Crew was rude and impatient, treating us less like customers and more like a nuisance to them. Second move: everything arrived, but about 20 tubs were broken and contents shattered. The team was better and listened to us, but I think it was due to the team being from Florida and my wife watching them like a hawk the whole time. A rep told us face to face we had 1 year to make a claim, but at a year, another rep said we only had 9 months so we missed the deadline. BONUS: a buddy of mine moved at approximately the same time from Vermont and they destroyed an antique trunk he carried (unscathed) for 20 years worth of military moves...unacceptable.

I met with Robert Wells on March 23, as they were the company moved my office. i signed a contract with them also confirmed my moving 2 days prior to the moving date. Rob bragged about moving movie stars, football players homes. on the day of the moving, they didn’t show up. after more than 20 phone calls, a women called Madeline said she didn’t put my order in her system, so they’re looking for a driver. after three hours of waiting, she then said they were not waiting for drivers but waiting for a truck. I am a physician and I took a day off to get this moving done. but it didn’t happen due to the unprofessionalism. i tried to reach their manager, the receptionist told me all there managers are in a conference and there is no time to end. I will see them in court.

If you care about your household goods or your money do not use this company. I have moved twice in the last year and a half for work and they contracted Siracusa both times. My first experience was good but the second experience was bad enough to bring my rating to 1-0 stars. I saw the invoice for my moves so I know exactly how much this company charges. I would consider them a highly priced company that you might consider because you expect a premium service for the price tag. Unfortunately the recent service I had was my worst nightmare. Multiple boxes were crushed, items broken and damaged, and critical items lost. At this time a large portion of my furniture is unusable because the movers did not keep track of the fasteners to put the furniture back together. They were so careless during unloading stacking heavy items on top of breakables and dragging things across the floor that many items are blackened with dirt or damaged beyond repair. On top of this the company is so disorganized that it took them half a day and five phone calls to figure out how to get paid, and then after all that they over charged me by almost 1000 dollars and still have “no idea how that happened”. I noticed it and they provided a receipt for a refund, but no money has returned to my credit card yet. They also did not fullfill their commitment to unpack our boxes at deliver and left 80 percent of our boxes untouched. They will now have to send people after the fact. My recommendation for anyone moving is to put your hard earned money towards a different company, or better yet pay your freinds to do it, at least they will likely respect you enough to treat your items with some level of care. I response to the reply to my review I would liked to say that I wish the company had put their time into working with me on my concerns instead of writing on line. The only reason why they have not received my claims form back yet is because we are still filling it out. EAch day I find another damaged item to add to the list. Also to address my “lack of response” I should mention that I told he lead mover several times that I would not be there at delivery, and provided my husbands contact information to him. Despite this they still contacted me and then blamed my husband for being late even though they didn’t call him as instructed. As you know if you have moved what you want is to get your items back as they were left and be able to use your furniture. If the fasteners are buried in a box somewhere they are equally useless, and packing them away in some uncharted location is also equally careless. You notice the customer service team also did not reply to any concerns about damage....that should tell you what you need to know right there. As I said...if you care about your items go elsewhere. As for my husbands positive attitude during the move, that is who he is, and I support his actions. How you treat people does not change, even if they do a poor job.

We moved 5 months ago and I'm FINALLY getting around to writing this review ! (Better late than never, right?) Siracusa was great ! Their guy Robert Wells came to the house, looked at everything, explained everything, answered all my questions, and explained exactly how he arrived at the cost estimate. When I had additional questions later on, he answered my emails promptly. The office people were also really good about checking in with us, verifying info., etc. It was a big job, involving 3 flights of stairs, a basement, and a detached garage. There were several inches of snow and ice on the ground at the time, plus it rained the day of the move-out. The guys arrived early, checked everything out, put down floor protection, and got to work. The whole crew was great, and crew leader Steve was amazing. The move-in was 2 days later, with Steve leading a different bunch of guys, and of course it snowed (!) Not fun. Everyone really worked hard on both ends, and actually came in a little bit UNDER the original estimate. (When's the last time you saw THAT happen?!) And... NOTHING was broken or damaged. Hopefully we won't be moving again for a LONG time (or ever !) ...but if we do, Siracusa will be the ones I call.

From a military family with multiple moves, this is absolutely the worst company to move with. They took no care in packing my items; multiple things were broken and lost. They failed to take several things with them which resulted in us having to leave things at the old house. Failed to properly label boxes and they put things from several rooms all in one box. I then had to purchase things I knew I had because I couldn’t find what I needed. They also failed to check in after our items were delivered so we could go over what was damaged/missing. Avoid this company if at all possible. They will not take care of you or your belongings.

They have handled 2 moves for me so far. Everything, on both moves, went seamless. Our last move we had a driver named Adam. He was absolutely amazing. He made the process so easy and kept my stress level low through the whole thing. Very professional and took great care of all my items. Truly an amazing company!!! I would not hesitate to contact them again should I need to move. If I could give them more stars I would!

AVOID. This company is awful for several reasons. During the move-in, one of their employees stole a number of items from my home. They also broke the leg off of my leather couch and then tried to blame it on me. Siracusa refused to reimburse me for the stolen goods or even apologize for letting a thief into my home. They did repair the leg on the sofa (or rather paid someone else to do it) so I suppose 1 star is fair for that.
