The current employee's of this company are not professional by any means. The remove their uniforms well delivering my shipment to my house and were carrying my items into house with out shirts on. This is something I would expect if I had hired someone under the table to move my items not from a professional moving company. Then one of their employees stole items that I had already had in my garage with a value of a couple hundred dollars. When I called the company and talked to a manager about it they accused me of lying about the matter and were not willing to help me figure out the matter or replace the item that was stolen( expensive bluetooth speaker). I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they wanted their items stolen and to deal with unprofessional people and have their walls and furniture all scraped up by the end of their move!

The service and communication was outstanding from start to finish. The pricing was excellent and actually came in a little lower than estimated. The movers, JR, Larry, Perry, and Juan were professional, on time, and friendly. Bill also directed us to car transporters that were the least expensive by far. Thanks to Rogovin Moving and Allied, moving from Massachusetts to Texas was a great experience. I highly recommend their moving service.

UPDATE....... As my previous reviews express, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Rogovin's service last summer, when there were expensive, designer purses and a flatscreen tv missing from my shipment, as well as a broken wood bookcase. The way in which the company and their insurance carrier handled my claim added insult to injury. In trying to hold the company responsible for its employees' obvious thievery, I filed complaints against it via the Better Business Bureau, the CT Attorney General's Office, the CT Office of Consumer Affairs; and even reached out to the media. The degree of bureaucracy and loopholes, which I think both the moving company and its insurance carrier use to their full advantage, are proposterous. I honestly think very few people would persevere and take this sort of matter to the full extent, which for me, meant filing a small claim in Small Claims Court. We had our hearing on July 28th. I decided to settle, instead of going to trial, not because I didn't think I have a good case, but because it appeared there were two other technicality hoops for me to jump through. Per their attorney, I was "supposed to include Allied in the lawsuit because I filed the initial claim against Rogovin via Allied's website." It is my understanding, as instructed to do so by Rogovin's owner, Aaron, that was the only way to file the claim. I hired Rogovin in CT. They are a local agent for Allied. Rogovin's employees packed/handled my loading. A FL Allied agent unloaded/delivered my shipment. This is the way Rogovin conducts their moves. They do not take shipment all the way to other state destination...but I hired Rogovin. Including Allied, the corporation, which is based in Illinois, would have entailed additional steps, expenses and nonsense, I was/am not willing to undergo. After a year and change of dealing with this blatant example of a company taking advantage of a consumer, in an already stressful situation, I am satisfied with the settlement I will be receiving, later this morning. I wanted to share what I learned in this process, so that other consumers- or would be customers of this company- can try to avoid the hell I went through: 1) If you can, let them pack everything! This way, if/when your stuff goes missing, you give them zero way out of claiming they couldn't "confirm what your boxes, transparent containers contained", 2) Make sure you ask for as many High Value Inventory sheets as you need, to list EACH and EVERY item, of ANY value at all. (Another loophole they use to their heart's content.) 3) Put everything in writing- before, during, after. 4) Talk to friends/relatives about the companies they've used, with which they've had good experiences...and use those! Honestly, moving should not be so complicated. The operative word there....honestly. One needs to deal with HONEST people. Good luck!

We had planned a move on a sat, but there was a pending snow storm. They came anyway, then left with our stuff in their truck, because a worker almost slid off the road driving the 4.5 miles to the new house. They did give us a break on travel time. They came back and finished up monday. However, one guy had his cell phone in hand a lot of the time. They had no packing or listening or organizing or ephisciancy skills. The "boss" on the job. was cooperative and did try to get things done asap. However, we are missing some stuff. Over all very unprofessional and we have to move again in a year. I will be hiring anyone else. Thought $150 an hour for the lacadazical job they did was way over priced for 4 men. I don't recommend this company. But i do recomend labeling everything clearly where you want it. And what it is.

Rogovin always got back to me right away. The move at both ends went smoothly and nothing was damaged. When I wanted to change my date of move with only one day's notice, they were able to accommodate me at no extra charge. Their initial estimate was considerably less than others so I went with them even though I knew that it could change if their weight estimate was different. (I had heard stories of other movers giving low estimates and then saying "oops, it was heavier than we thought" and they charge much more.) Not only was it not more expensive, but it was $200 less than the estimate. I worked with Michelle Viveiros and Aaron Rogovin who were both very helpful whenever I contacted them. The actual movers were very nice, polite and did a great job at both ends. I would definitely recommend them again.

They moved us from Ct. to FL. Do not use this company. We purchased full insurance. When loading our belonging they provided 4 men. Things that we suppose to be left for the new owner were taken other things were left. We were told multiple household were carefully separated. When the truck arrived in Florida only 2 men were provided to unload it. Due to the lack of manpower the job was not completed until well after dark and we were completely exhausted. We were missing items which we had to filed a claim for some were paid but not without follow up letters. My camera was lost and it was registered with the company and I had serial numbers. Unfortunately it had been checked off so I accepted the loss. They have refused to pay for items that I could provide receipts for. The excuse is that they did not pack the box so could not say what was in the box and the limit is $125. We found shelves that did not belong to us and were returned but could not find anything of ours. Stay away from this company!

Our items did get here (though it took longer than expected) and nothing was damaged, but do not expect clear or prompt communication. Getting someone to respond was like pulling teeth, and yes, they did try to up charge us on delivery (we argued this and didn't end up paying extra). The drivers and moving staff were nice and professional, but the office and billing departments were difficult.

Bill Smith was perfect and the two men who picked up my belongings in CT were absolutely professional and knowledgeable with extra care given to my belongings. The one man who assisted driver in FL was excellent but driver was lazy and didn’t even bring dolly or cart. Would not ever hire a lazy man like that who uses others and tries to take credit

Horrible experience. Two weeks later, they have not returned phone calls or replied to emails. They blame Allied, Allied blames them. In the meantime, they still have my entire household while I'm in a hotel in the mid-west waiting for it to arrive. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!

Got the best insurance for my items fortunately didn't have to use it. Everything got down there in a safe and timely manner. I'm so glad nothing was damaged in the process and they over estimated the price by a few hundred so it was great to save a little money.

I was more than 100% satisfied with my move through Rogovin Allied Movers. I moved from CT to AZ. The driver and the men working with him were all very hard workers, never wasted time, were courteous, and took so much stress away from me. I am a widow and made the move myself so this was important to me. The driver knew I was driving alone across country, leaving the day after the truck. He called my cell the second day and told me about a bridge that was out and how to take a detour. It saved me half a day of travel time. When my belongs arrived everything was put where I wanted it. Not one item was damaged or lost. Plus, the cost was in line with my estimate. I cannot say enough about the great service I received form this company! I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Reconsider before hiring the WORST MOVING COMPANY in Connecticut. Keep in mind that this was a military HHG move. The long story short version is they show up 3 hours late from when the original appointment was made and started complaining immediately. They then feel free to invite a second moving truck over without warning and offload 3 more "employees". One of them storms up to my restroom without permission and leaves it absolutely disgusting, pubic hair and a strange orange residue all over my toilet seat. I found this but they had already left leaving one of their guys behind. Later in the day I then see him walk out with a beer from my fridge, drinks it, and throws it away. Considering the safety of my wife and son I call the manager to have him removed. He seemed to try to work with me, but it was a hassle to actually come out to my residence to have the "employee" removed. I had to threaten that I would have local PD escort him off the property. Finishing at 9 p.m. (mind you started at 1 p.m. with an estimated total pack time of 5 hours due to minimal goods in house) After the chaos they call me back to sign the final papers and my house smelled like marijuana. Fed up with everything I sign as quickly as I can and get them out of there. Live plants and flowers that were going to be gifted to my neighbors WERE PACKED, WHILE GUIDELINES CLEARLY STATE THAT THEY WERE NOT TO BE PACKED. They did manage to leave my window unit a/c, a bunch of cooking utensils, and a bunch of their packing supplies behind. STAY AWAY FROM ROGOVIN MOVING & STORAGE. READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND THEN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. I did not take any of the reviews seriously until I experienced it firsthand.

Horrible customer service! We have used Allied Van lines for a move from FL to CT with great results so therefore the choice was to use them again. Not with Rogovin moving. Michelle Viveiros the move co-cordinator has no tack with email or phone communication. It's basic etiquette in email that ALL CAPS not be used, unless you are yelling at a person. Well she evidently was yelling at us. Thank you, for your blatant disregard for email etiquette, we are not your children that you can yell at but customers with a question. Highly would not recommend due to lack of customer service and tack.

This is the first time I have ever written a review online, but I hope that it will save someone from the horrible experience I had to deal with in using this company. Flat out the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, the staff was grossly rude and unprofessional. They were hours late to pack the house, a full day late to arrive at the new house, and it took them over a week to produce a receipt after I had submitted full payment. Do yourself a favor and use another company.
