If I could, I would rate this company 0 stars. They broke almost anything that was breakable including family crystal, showed no care or concern for our belongings, lost a marble top to a dresser, broke a family heirloom side table and lost two shelves to an armoire. They were not responsive to any of our complaints. Do not use them ever. Avoid them like the plague. There are far better movers who care about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.

Used them to move a few years ago. They broke an expensive table throwing over the balcony to the guy below and refused to replace it and made me feel like a thief for asking for them to make good on it. Drivers were drinking beer and the office said "big deal." Eill never forget the awful experience i had with them.

Beware, do not put faith in the quote given by this company. First, this is not my first experience with MMS. I used them with my previous move 16 years ago with no issues at all. Let me begin by saying that my experience with Jerry started out great. He came to my house to provide an estimate for my move. We went through the entire house including the basement, attic and garage. He was friendly and assured me that he had 15 years experience and usually over estimates the cost of the move so that the customer will not be surprised at the end of the process. He came back with a very competitive quote which is why I went with MMS instead of any of the other companies that quoted my move. The first problem came on the day of my move. I had called the office a week or so before to change my move as I needed to vacate the day before and store my items overnight for the move to the new location at an additional $100 charge which I agreed to. I was told it was no problem. On the day of the move I called just to see what time to expect the crew. I was told I was not on the schedule but, in fact the notes on my file indicated the change. Thank goodness they had a crew that was able to come and pack the truck. The second issue came when the crew arrived. They came in a rental truck not the Manchester Moving and Storage trucks on their website which threw me off a bit. They seemed shocked at the size of the job but, told me "he does this to us all the time"! They were not happy and told me they would try to fit everything into the truck which, surprise, they could not. They had to send for a backup truck with an extra crew member. The next day the crew (different from the previous crew) arrived to the new location an hour and a half later than I was told they would be here. Again, they were surprised at the size of the job and also complained that this happens all the time. At the end of the move the foreman had to wait at least 20-30 minutes to get the total due from the office. When it came I was shocked. I did feel that it would be more but, was expecting probably around 20-30% higher than the quote. To my shock it was DOUBLE what I was quoted by their seasoned salesman!! I feel that I was duped into hiring this company as their quote was so much better than the other four I had gotten. In reality they ended up being more than any other quote I got. I must say, though, that both crews were polite and professional throughout the entire ordeal.

Worst company ever One of there trucks broke my car mirror the owner of the company frank said he will fix the repairs and its been months without a word !! Save your money go to another company !!

Movers were very slow..there were addons at end for mileage they did not tell me when I booked. Two of the three guys had an attitude. They did load the truck tight though..

Never use this company. One of their movers stole my wedding ring, emptied my container of change and stole some other items. When I filed a police report and called the owner, he wouldn't even take the call. I ended up having to file a homeowners claim, which came with a $500 deductible, plus I had to pay for the move, full cost + tip. Never use this company

A+ to Manchester Moving for the all they did for us during a move from Connecticut to Massachusetts. For all who have been through the process of selling one house while buying another, you understand the duress under which the move is made. Kudos to all of the crew of Manchester Moving. They were prompt, efficient, clean, patient, helpful and very friendly. The experience on both ends of our move was a non-stress event from start to finish.
