Horrible experience with this company. You basically pay them what they call "complete service" and "door to door shipment" and it is all a LIE. Payed around $3000 dollars to have shipped from Miami to DR and have been going from city to city to do paperwork for them! And now I have to pay around $300 dollars more so they can release the shipment. Hidden fees everywhere! They do not know what expectation setting is. Not a trustworthy company. Save yourself TIME and MONEY and RUN towards any other moving company.

Great service and personalized attention to clients. The manager Genaro gets my complement as a great people person and superb customer service embassador for the brand. He got a question from a client before me and not only he had an answer he also had the solution. He took upon himself to explain the recent changes in the pricing strategy of the company; so the client would understand the difference in his bill. He went the extra mile to speak to the representative tenting to the client to ensure he got a discount to the prior pricing scale. That made the client a customer for life. This type of iniciatives from managers is what makes a brand stay in business and have traction to grow in this new age competitive market. Some clients see only price sometimes it just service what sets you company apart from the rest. Not withstanding this a reputable and honest company that has been decades in business and it's because of people like Genaro that they stay in business that long.

Worst company ever. Used the Puerto Rico situation to lie and tell me they were late in delivering my container because all ports were busy shipping supplies to PR. They were really waiting for another person to ship to the Dominican so that they could fill the container even more and move 2 families with one container. Yes, they will make you wait just so that the trip makes them money. Offered me a 4-6 week arrival. I shipped 8/17 and my things just arrived 10/25. Quick to get money out of you but worst to respond to complaints. Stay away from them!!!!!

I called for an estimate and the vendor Gustavo called me back with a reasonable proposal. He was the only profesional person there. I travelled to Miami to pack the boxes and leave everything set. I was in a rush since My leasing agreement ended on next weekend. We set the day for a Monday and my sis took the day off to wait for the movers. She called and no one could tell her when does the truck would arrived. During the afternoon hours I called desperately and some one told me that I need to wait for Adriana that was in her lunch time. I called again in an hour and she stilled at lunch. I asked again and they insisted that I need to wait for Adriana. I called again 30 minutes past the hour and CAN YOU BELIEVE that she’s stilled at lunch!!!! When I told them ironically what’s the company policy for lunch they transfer me to Víctor. Victor at 4pm said that the movers would never make it, and he changenthe date for Wednesday. Then we called on Tuesday to confirm and they said that they need to change it again. I was really mad and tried to rich Genaro that they told me was the manager. I left him 2 messages and he never called back. At the end of the day I called again on Wednesday and Joan told me that the movers were on route to my Condo. But I told her are you sure? They cancelled me yesterday. Then she checked back and confirmed what I was told. At the end of they day I spoke with Adriana (yes the 2hour lunch women)they said that they had me on schedule for Friday and of course I ran out of time and end up sending my furniture to an storage. Today I was reading other reviews and is incredible how much time I could save if I would read all this before. At the end of the day I just will like to thank Gustavo the sales representative that always tried to help me but his organization tried their best to sabotage his sales.

DO NOT USE THEM. they are the absolute worst and the most irresponsible company I have ever used, after delivering SOME of my boxes and items DAMAGED that arrived almost 2 months after the date they said it would be delivered, they lost some of my boxes and found them months later and are now saying I have to drive ALL the way to their office to pick up a box THEY lost, also told me the driver contacted me and I said I was not home when I NEVER spoke to any driver, I spent a lot of money to use their services and they simply ruined everything and are not even picking up the phone when I call to ask about MY boxes they have not delivered because THEY misplaced them. I payed an insurance to protect my goods and they are not even paying for the damages that they caused that the "insurance" is supposed to be for. They will literally steal your money.

The movers were efficient and professional. They pack your stuff safely and correctly. But, the delivery time is atrocious. They say it about two weeks (price reflects the long wait), but the delivery can take up to a month or so. Doesn't matter how small your Can't track, nor give you accurate updates on your valuables.

I had to step in a telephone conversation between my mother and the ( can not call her a lady because she was not professional or nice at all) employee was been so nasty to my mother and cutting her out without listening to my mother's request amd had to tell her you are so disrespectful and rude can't you hear she is trying to tell you something, you have NO clue how customers are to be treated and she just started yelling at me and saying she had no right to treat me right because treats other how she is treated: What? Are you serious? Really? For God's sake I was telling her how offensive and disrepectful she was and how are worker is supposed to listen to their customers etc and Im the one being rude? I already called my lawyer and this company needs to be taken to the Business Bureau and need to be reported! They have No Ethics at all! No Empathy at all! My mother even told her that she is affraid her stuff will be damaged by roaches and that worker got so defensive and said we have no roaches and our warehouse is inspected every other month; well sorry but no sorry; we used this company another time in the past and one of the boxes came full of roaches and everything was lost but yet we didnt file a complaint or anything and instead used again and the service is just very poor! All I can say is: Rosa del Monte be ready because the US Laws are coming after you! The worst!!!! Spoke with sales and they told me the delivery would take 7-10 days. and i told them i would be paying by debit card. They said that was fine to pay the driver . I got a call the day of pick up and they scheduled me at 9am for pick up . That never happened , then i was told by 12noon, that never happened. Then it was a call from the driver saying they were on their way ...that never happened . They arrived at 8pm it was dark raining. they did a sloppy job. When they were done loading the guy in charge of the other 2 gave me a receipt. Told me he doesnt take debit card and that the office would call me to do payment. He also told me 7-10 days for delivery. So now im 1200 miles away in my new house and no furniture it didnt come until over a month later!!! The people in this company are so nasty and lie about everything ... I will not get into it but they are the scum of the moving industry PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! By the way they tried to charge me additional money to use debit which they waived only because i made a fuss about how they told me i could but no one knew how to process the payment....the fact is they want everything in cash because a cc transaction can be disputed because of their shady business practice. This move was very cheap in comparison to other moving companies. However it was the most expensive because i had to buy new beds, dishes, clothes waiting on my delivery...

Horrible Experience. They took OVER 3 months to deliver from Miami to Chicago. During the time of waiting I call to find out where the items were and they had only made it to Orlando, at that point I had asked to please just return the items back to where they picked up(Miami) since it was taking too long and I no longer had someone to receive the items in Chicago. They refuse to give me a responds to my request, and out of the blue they shipped to Chicago right away(I did not even know of the shipment until I kept calling asking for my items and waiting a responds, something that took months!) Since I no longer had anyone to receive the items in Chicago they have kept them in storage and are not wanting to return back to Miami. They are charging a ridiculous amount of money to return items and charging 'storage fees' over $2,000 and will not accept any responsibility. Can someone please contact me and help resolve this issue. I spoke to Sonia in Chicago who is extremely rude, nonstop yelling and ended up hanging up the phone, after I kept trying to explain the situation. She started by saying it will be over $2,500 and when I said I did not have that she yelled asking how much money do I have. After several requests to speak to a manager, she said no manager was there hung up. This is ridiculous. I am hoping someone from this company will be able to resolve the issue. Thank you

So after 6 weeks of waiting for our furniture and belongings and going through hell with this moving company, we finally received our things to just find out most of our stuff is broken. Many are very meaningful things. I feel like crying. The sad part is this company sucks and they probably wont do anything about it. The boxes were all smashed even though they said fragile.

My family used this lovely company to move from new york city to cleveland ohio. They were super nice and very ecominical. I am a bit maticulous with my good admittedly, but i could tell from the moment they first entered my home that they were very professional. They were the only company i could find open over 50 years, i guess most companies cant survive in this kind of business. But its to no suprise that they are still in business considering how well they do their job. Thank you very much to the staff in NY, you have earned yourself a loyal customer for a lifetime.

I used this company due to a referral. In which, I was given an idea on how they work and I was content with the information. I moved from New York to Florida and the day of pick up (June 30th, 2018) the two young gentlemen seemed very polite and hard workers. I was courtesy to gave a $100 tip. I was given my receipt for 8 boxes in total and was told it was going to take about 20 days to arrive. Upon arrival, which took 6 weeks instead. I received 7 boxes in total. When I called the office in NY and spoke to Mr. Figueroa, he claimed I paid and shipped only 7. Unfortunately, when I called the office in Orlando. The claim dept was never available. As for right now, its been almost a month of me receiving my shipment and my missing box is nowhere to be found. Sadly, I would never recommend this company.

They picked up my things in NJ about 5 weeks ago. Yesterday I was told that only last week my things started moving down towards their distribution center in Florida. They told me I need to wait 3 more weeks for my things. I live now in South Texas but I don’t think anyone has to wait 8 weeks for their belongings to arrive even if you are moving from one end of the country to the other. Completely outrageous.. best part is they don’t care at all. They lie to you or simply the person who is in charge doesn’t pick up or is not at the office. Stay away from this company.

Such a greqt experience with this company. They came the next day after i called to do an estimate, and it was shockingly much cheaper than the last company to quote. But i gave them a chance and oh boy did they not disapoint. Shipped my entire three story house and two car garage from cape coral fl to poughkeepsie ny and everything came out exactly how it was in fl. I wound not use this company. The fist time I used them, moving to puerto rico my boxes were stained with oil and had to throw away a lot of clothing I had inside of them. I was only reimbursed the minimum. If you are shipping a car or boxes, make sure you insure for an adequate amount. I had a friend who shipped with them and his car was completely damaged and the company would only respond for a part of the value of the car. I made the mistake of using them again when moving out of Puerto rico . My boxes arrived a month later. I received a call saying that my boxes had arrived and that if I didn't pick them up I would have storage fees. I showed up the next day to their office and was charged $25 dollars. I played the recording back to the lady. Its not the same saying "your boxes are here for pick up , give us a call back when you get a chance , you have 5 days to pick them up or you will be charged a storage fee" instead of saying "if you don't call back today you will be charged a fee. Poor communication and I will never use them again.

When you call to complain they say “it was just an estimate”. It has been 2 full months since I sent my furniture and all my boxes from Worcester MA to Miami Fl and everytime I call to request the status they give you a new delivery date. They keep postponing and they never call you to give you updates. It has been very frustrating to sleep in an air mattress for over 2 months and you don’t even have an idea of when you will get your stuff! It is like they are keeping it hostage! And another thing! If you end up making the worst decision of your life please pay attention when they give you an estimate and write the receipt! Basically they put a defect on every single item of yours without even informing you to cover themselves in case your stuff gets damaged in the way! This company was a life saver! I had quoted with this company as well as a competitor, i went with the other company unfortunately due to price. Well the move was scheduled the 30th to move out on the laat day. They confirmed with me and everything, but on the day of the move they called and cancelled due to space! even after confirming the day before! this was my final day to move out and i called la rosa on rush, i was so lucky they had space they came and picked it up eventhough it was late, like 3pm when i called. they even honored the original rate! they went above and beyond for me im eternally greatful.

They waited till today 0ctober 24 2017 to delived the boxes all wet. Everything was damaged nothing could be saved. Why go and we had to pay for them to delivered wet boxes when everything was lost computer, laptops, playstayion clothes nothing cant be saved it was all green with fungus..they are terrible movers and they are not efficient. Will not recommend it to anyone...

We were hesitant after reading so many terrible reviews, but we have to say that we are pleasantly surprised with the cost and service provided by the employees in the Bridgeport office and also in the Puerto Rico office. We shipped a couple of fragile items and took great care on our own to make sure that they were packed to our satisfaction. The pickup crew was quirky, but friendly and they efficiently wrapped, tagged and picked up items at two different locations. We also dropped stuff off at the warehouse, so we were concerned that all of it ended up being shipped/arriving at the same time. The office crew went through the entire list of items with us and finally gave us a price for shipping it all. This was the only part of the process that was hard to plan for since we didn't have a good estimate beforehand of what it would all cost. That said, the price was reasonable for our very large shipment and we were told it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive at the port in San Juan and that once the crew in San Juan received the shipment at the port they would call us to set/up delivery. Six weeks later we called the office and were told our shipment had arrived at the port. The PR crew told us that it would take 10-14 days to sort/prepare our shipment for delivery to the house. SInce we wanted to be there to receive the shipment we were also trying to coordinate our travel to be there when the shipment arrived. The PR crew helped us gauge when that would be and the shipment arrived to our house two days after we did. All items were accounted for, none were damaged and the delivery crew was efficient and friendly. Our fragile items included heavy glass doors and countertops, all of it arrived safely. ( THATS NOT MY PROBLEM ) WHEN THE GUY WAS PUTTING THE STUFF DOWN HE WAS NOT DROPPING IT DOWN SLOWLY. AFTER THEY WERE DONE HE TOLD ME TO SIGN OFF THAT I RECEIVED THE SHIPMENT. WHICH I DID WHEN I STARTING UNPACKING I NOTICED ALL THE STUFF THAT WAS BROKEN. WHEN I CALL FOR THE CLAIM ( SINCE I PAID EXTRA FOR THE INSURANCE ON MY SHIPMENT ) THEY SAID I DONT GET A REFUND BECAUSE I SIGNED THE PAPER THAT SAID IT WAS ALL GOOD WHEN I ACUTALLY WAS TOLD TO SIGN THAT I RECEIVED THAT PACKAGE. IM HIGHLY UPSET THAT THIS CHEAP/UNPROFESSIONAL/GHETTO MOVING COMPANY. I WANT MY CLAIM TO BE PROCESSED AND GET A REFUND FOR MY DAMAGE ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
