I actually wish I could give a 0 review, but the movers themselves were pleasant, even though they broke my front room window moving my couch through it! I used this company on 8/10/2016. Towards the end of the day, and moving slowly, the mover asked me to pay the bill, which I had no problem doing. They only had the couch left. It was a large sectional. Apparently it would not fit through my front door, so when I was coming back to the front of the house, they had the front window out moving the couch through the window. I heard a banging noise which prompted me to come to the window. The sash was off and the couch was through. Not once, did anyone mention a "hoisting charge" that the man told me about when I called to ask someone to come and fix the window. It took me a few weeks to call, because it was blistering hot out and the AC was running constantly, so I didn't have cause to open the window. When I tried, it would not open. When I looked at the apt, the windows were open and in great condition. I called the company, and arranged for someone to come look at the window. The gentleman came and saw that the track was mashed on both sides. He said, "yeah it needs replaced." When I called Aaron back, he asked me to send pictures, which I immediately did. He called me back to tell me that his boss, called this "a wash" which meant that I should have paid a hoisting charge of 100.00. This was never disclosed to me. Not once, ever. A wash. This is the worst customer service. I also paid insurance, I believe on my contract. The owner did not even try to make one thing right. So what I am going to do, is bash them to every single social media website that will accept my review, and I might, just to make them miserable, take them to small claims for being rotten. My advice to you? Do not use them. These guys think that people are not intelligent to see a rip off when they get one. They are "a wash".

I had a very good experience with these guys. It was a small move that had to happen quickly. All the fees were clearly disclosed when I scheduled the move. The guys doing the move were prompt, professional, and quick. I'd use them again.

Run...run fast..They are very unethical and dishonest .When scheduling them to move my furniture for floor refinishing, Amber neglected to ask if I had a gas dryer and also neglected to tell me that if I chose to pay by credit card(only choice was cash or CC) that there was a 2% fee. The movers could not take my dryer and told me that I had to have the gas company come and disconnect it. I was told 2 guys minimum 3 hours Sat rate $125 hour-was told by Amber that it would not take more than 3 hours for travel, loading and unloading my furniture and that it would be wrapped for protection. They got me for an extra hour on the front end.. I had a living room and dining room table with 6 chairs. On the return, I had to reschedule from a Sat to Monday. Was told they would come after 4. I got a call at noon saying they would be right over. I told them I'm at work and scheduled for 4. "but we had an opening". got them to come at 4. Arriving are 3 men in the truck. When I go to sign the bill, I'm charged $140. This decsion was made by the rude man who coordinated the delivery, without my consent. In addition, I was charged a weekend rate and charged for 3 hours at $140. The furniture took 45 minutes to load and replace. The movers did not complete the job, as after they left, I noticed they left my washer in the middle of the laundry room not hooked up. I contacted Mr. Personality and he said "cant do it today, I'll call you tomorrow". The next day, afternoon came and no call received, I called and Mr. Personality sent someone over. This was the most unprofessional and rude people from a company that I've dealt with.

I recently hired this company to help me move. They had to one bed, one dresser, two sofas, one bed-side, one small freezer, TV and TV stand, one dinning table and 6 little dinning table chairs. Two Guys came and could you believe they took their sweet time to wrap. So they use 4 hrs to park my stuff in their Truck. When they know I'm paying $125 per hour. On their way to my New Apartment, they stopped at a gas station to Eat before continuing the trip on my own time. It was a 10 minutes drive but it took them more than that. When they got to my New Apartment, it took them additional 3 and half hrs to complete the work. I end up paying them $1,000 and more for 8 hrs work. In my own opinion, they deliberately worked slow in order to my more hours and more money. I won't recommend them for anyone.

This company has been incredible for our moving needs over the last several years. We have moved numerous offices on a very large scale throughout Connecticut and they have been extremely accommodating, professional and efficient. They have always given us a very fair price and have done a great job, often with short notice. For commercial office moves, we would not choose to go anywhere else.

I had these movers help my son move. Crazy they did that to my son too where they charged him time while they ate lunch. Scam artists if you ask me since I see another review claims this too. They did work hard but when my son paid and the movers left and my son got to look at his stuff almost alll his furniture was broken. Whats the sense if the furniture is broken??? Just a big waste of money $$$$ just dont call these guys!!!!

Flynn Moving and Storage is the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. They are sneaky, dishonest, and way overcharged. My furniture has been damaged and I paid thru the nose for their services. I will be travelling the greater Waterbury area with signs in my car window stating: Flynns Moving & Storage Southington, CT Is a RIPOFF! Avoid them at all costs! It is the least I can do to save some other poor soul from the expense these scammers have put me through. I will tell EVERYONE that I know about my experience. I have already put my complaints locally on FB, Yelp, and intend to contact the BBB, as well as the Southington Chamber of Commerce. These scammers need to be STOPPED! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Great team! Every time I called, someone answered the phone and answered every question I had. We even had to change the date of the move at the last minute, and it was no problem at all. Mark, Jermaine, and Steve packed up our house neatly and efficiently, and unpacked it the following day the same way. They were very pleasant to be around, and special shout out to Mark who even helped me decided which pieces of furniture would fit where in the new house. Great experience and such an easy move! I was not done packing and the movers accommodated me and loaded that room last so I can finish. All boxes and furniture was moved fast and packed and secured in the truck so fast! Very professional crew! All charges and fees were disclosed at the time of the quote and there were no surprises whatsoever! Definitely would use this company again!

I hired Flynn Moving for a small three room move from Simsbury to Southington. Amber was very helpful and clear about all costs and timing of the move. She helped me work out a time even with my crazy schedule. The movers were exactly on time. They moved my belongings (some family antiques I was worried about) competently and carefully. They made the small move in exactly the quoted time and I was paid exactly what was agreed upon. I watched every piece being moved and the guys were careful with the furniture and always courteous with me. Moving is stressful so I am attributing the few negative reviews to the stress of moving. I had a good experience with Flynn and would use them again if I move again.

I worked for a number of moving companies who were professional. I was hired at Flynn’s and they do not do any background checks or drug tests as part of the hiring process. Many of the people I worked with abused substances even while working. I was there for about three weeks. They would lead me on to believe there was work and then tell me there was no work. However I knew people who were being called for jobs regularly and I have seen the trucks out when they said there was no work. I had never made mistakes or done anything other than my best. Seems like people are just covering for each other. I left this job because not only did they deceive me about work opportunities but I am also concerned about working with people who are not fully alert in fear of accidents injuries or damage that could occur during the work day or to people’s belongings. I would choose a moving company that does background checks so you are confident In your moving company so that they will safely deliver your valuables. Please look for companies that conduct themselves in a professional manner were your items would be safely delivered without the worry or hassle of things going missing or things being damaged

Had to put the contents of a four bedroom colonial into storage while I bought and renovated a smaller condo. I moved out during a nor’easter and three months turned into seven. Coming and going , everything was professional, organized and timely. Moving into my dream home today I had the same service. Efficient, polite and patient as I changed my mind a few times about furniture location. Thank you again Sean, Nick and Dom for working so hard to move me in. My belongings were in perfect condition and your service was amazing.

Would absolutely recommend Flynn moving! I have used several companies throughout the years and states/countries and they were the best of all. Great, fair pricing, and booked me in quickly. Amber who answered and took my booking was friendly and professional, explained everything very well. The 2-man crew, Don and Dominic were friendly, efficient and took great care of my belongings (unlike my last movers who broke many things because of how they handled the hand trucks). I am so, so happy with today's move!

Do yourself a favor...keep moving to ANOTHER company. It’s now 4 weeks later and I still can’t find things. I hired them to do a pack and move. Had I know they would just take everything out of my 4 dressers Draw and thrown the. Into large boxes (including my intimates) I would have done it myself. I was to,d nothing comes out of the drawers but that is not true. They then claimed it was IKEA furniture and they don’t move dressers with clothes in it from IKEA. It was dressers from Pilgrim furniture. I was in the house The whole time and they could have asked me. They took a lot longer than they needed to taking several cigarette and chatting breaks. I was quoted 1200-1500 and ended up at 2200. I have a 2 bederoom house. One living room. One kitchen and one basement which they barely touched. They packed the kitchen with pots, pans and lids in different boxes and not labeled correctly. They packed empty shoe bises and plastic McDonald’s toys in double paper. The were so slow and that is what took longer. I had four guys. Two knew there stuff and two did not. In the end after Co l,aiming they gave me a small $120 credit. The reason zi did a lack and mive is because I have a lot of stress in my life. Their company added three more layers to the stress. This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Run run...I usually don’t post like this but I’m so horrified..spending the day going thru boxes today. As I unpack I said no I have to say something. Amber is sweet but misleading. Aaron is a sales person, they will say anything. I feel like I bought a lemon. Maybe good on small jobs but not a lack and move
