Ivan and Benji were very hard workers. It only took them half an hour to unload my stuff and were kind enough to put my mattress in my loft area because God knows I would not be able to do that myself! I would definitely hire them again. They were very pleasant and we exchange many laughs. If you need helpers, definitely hit them up. You won't regret it! Thumbs up from me!

I have moved a few times now and this was by far the best help I have had! Ray and Nash thoughtfully handled my belongings and worked efficiently as a team to unload the truck. Also, it seemed like some of the doorways were going to be too narrow for some of my larger pieces, they became determined.

We had already secured help from someone else, but it was truly moving to see that last minute he was willing to help at his own inconvenience, and to do so with such generosity. Excellent ! Truly excellent. I need to load my stuff to relocube of one bedroom apartment. But I have so many things and clutters so I order two cubes just in case. The mover J,K they are very professional and careful during the move. I only want to use one cube in stead of two. They understand my concern and help me not just the loading but help to organize inside the cube. In the end they perfectly fit all my stuff inside one cube. And even remind me that to tell the mover when I need to unload need to be careful since they load and pack very tight. Need to be careful during unload. Very thoughtful and professional. If there is ten stars I’ll give ten. Excellent service.

I had a wonderful experience with First Class Movers, yesterday. I needed last-minute help with moving all of my things into storage (including an upright electrical piano and a ton of EXTREMELY heavy trunks). We called First Class Movers in the late morning, and were able to get day-of help. I thought it would for sure take multiple hours getting everything out and stored, but we were totally done within maybe an hour??? Incredible! Wesley was extremely professional, kind, helpful, and wonderful. If I need help moving things in New Haven again I will definitely be back. Can't recommend highly enough. Highly professional, helpful, and flexible. Thank you SO MUCH for helping me!

We used First Class Movers two times over the course of the last year. The first move went off without a hitch, the movers showed up on time and they were fast and very careful with all of our stuff. My family was very happy so we hired them again. For the second move, there were some unforeseen circumstances with one of the crew, and the owner did everything possible to make sure we were moved on time and without stress. Once again, they pulled off an amazing job. These guys are hard workers and come very highly reccomended!

We had a horrible moving experience with this company. The company confirmed with me several times that the movers would stay long enough to finish the moving job. After only two hours the two movers that came said that our time was up and they left to do another job. We had moved most of the boxes and smaller items ourselves the day prior, and primarily had hired the moves to help with moving our larger and heavier furniture. During the two hours they were extremely slow and wound up moving only a few items of furniture, leaving us with more than half of the heavier furniture to move on our own when they left, which we were not prepared for. I had called to confirm with the company manager several times, including the day before the move, to confirm the details and that the movers would be available to stay longer than two hours to finish the job. It was extremely upsetting that the movers just got up and left halfway through the move to go to another job and did not finish the job with us as had been promised. Additionally, it was not until after the move and they had left that we noticed the guys had broken one of the handles to our expensive hutch which is not easily replaced. We are very disappointed with this moving service, and especially the manager Brandon who I had talked to directly both before the move to guarantee that the movers would complete the job and the day of the move when he had the movers leave our job to go to another job, and nor did he offer any compensation for the damage they had done to our hutch. The movers are not professional movers that come prepared. I would strongly advise anyone to go with any other company. We chose this company because it was more affordable than others, but now if I could go back I would definitely have paid much more to have hired a more professional and reliable company.

We had used this company previously and were satisfied. However, this time they arrived 40 min late without a stated reason and reeking of marijuana. Significantly inconvenienced us and our movers at the other end, and when we asked their boss for a discount we didn't receive a response. Though movers were communicative and thoughtful about packing, a few items were damaged. Look elsewhere for movers. Update: Business owner followed up and apologized, and stated that these movers were let go. Clearly the movers' performance is variable (as evidenced by the variety of reviews, and our previous experience).
