We packed ourselves and used AM to load and move out/in furniture and boxes. We had the hardest working, most efficient, and nicest movers. Ask for Jesus, Jonas, and Justin. They worked on the hottest 2 days in Denver and never complained. We also moved into a 3 story townhome with heavy stuff and even the neighbors commented on how hard they worked. Let’s face it... it’s not an easy job. I do recommend getting confirmation of price on a hourly basis. It took longer to move us in than originally estimated. Again, AM needs to acknowledge the “3 J’s!” Dedicated and hard working!!!

Excellent move. Short, across town. Super easy. You can go online and get an estimate just by plugging in what you need to have moved. You get a quote (which usually runs high for safety) back immediately then you are linked up with a coordinator. Everything moved swiftly for me even though it was last minute on my part. Either way, they showed up promptly on time when they were expected, were great guys, and moved quickly. Everything was handled delicately and nothing was damaged. This company was great and the next time I have a move, I'll be reaching out to them again.

We had a move of only a few blocks, but we downsized form a large house to a much smaller house that need to be completely remodeled. Luis and Jesus came out to pack and did a great job. the put everything in big plywood boxes to go to storage. 9 months later, when our house was done Luis, Jesus, and Trinidad came back to deliver and set up in the new house. Again, everything went perfectly. Bryan was our rep that gave us the quote and scheduled the moves. He could have been easier to deal with or more accommodating. We did have some hick ups scheduling moves and then the house was not ready. We house was finally ready, he got us scheduled in four days, and that was a week that was 100% booked. Found a way to get it done! Thanks to all the guys!

Moving with this company was great from start to finish. They were to most professional and low pressure from the beginning, getting a bid for a cross town move. Gabriel set everything up for us seamlessly. Jordan and Andy came and were both wonderful- courteous, funny, helpful- great team! The move came in under bid and was very reasonably priced. My experience with this company was a bit mixed. The sales representatives are top notch in that they do a tremendous job... for the company that is... not for you the customer. If you want someone who works for the best interest of your enterprise, recruit one of the sales staff from this company. If you'd like to trust and rely on the assurances you are given during the sales pitch, strongly consider another option. I was sold move-store-move services for a cross country relocation through AMS and Bekins, so there would be an end to end chain of responsibility for my goods. I even took out additional insurance for the move. Well, all of that didn't work out very well at all. Although the initial move in to storage seemed very professional and efficient, in retrospect, there may have been some oversights in the quality of packing. Communication for final delivery was abysmal, including a 5 day window but only 16 hour notification for delivery (and only after I chased it down). I believe in total, I paid almost $10,000 to be tortured by this company. I thought it'd be worth it since quite a lot of my small household consists of high $ items, but there was a tremendous amount of damage to my goods, and American Moving and Storage and Bekins/Wheaton ? local movers (never figured out how these random companies and movers got involved in the "seamless end to end responsibility") are trying to blame each other for the damage. It has now been almost 5 months since my move and still no resolution despite dozens of calls, emails, estimates, photos, and required documents. Yikes! What is it going to take? Bottom line, you can start out with a household full of costly/collectible furnishings, and end up with landfill and firewood.

The crew was punctual, worked very hard & took few breaks. We had a huge number of items to move (17 pages of inventory) & only two were damaged. The company charges for commute time from their place of business to the worksite. Also, the storage fee, whether 2 days or 30 is the same flat rate. These terms are excessive.

We contacted John with American Moving to help us move furniture from north Boulder to our location in Louisville. It was a short planning time frame but John was able to accommodate us immediately. Jorge, Miguel and Eduardo arrived on time and got right to work. It took longer to load than we had originally thought, and the crew was concerned that it might require two trips, however, with careful packing the truck was fully loaded by noon and we were on our way. From the very beginning Todd was very quick to answer my calls and questions and to get my move date reserved for me, as well as checking in the closer we got to the move to make sure everything was still going okay. I highly recommend American Moving & Storage. This is the second time we have used them for a moving service and they are awesome! The communication is great and a team member called with a reminder one week before, one day before and even called during the move to make sure all was going good. Luis, Jonas, Adri, Eduardo, Camillio and Kyle helped us pack and load our house and move us in to the new house. Adri packed my kitchen and only one item received a chip. The rest of the fellas packed and loaded rest of house. One floor lamp received a crack in plastic. Considering I’ve had other moves with more broken this is a HUGE feat! A very special thanks to Mike and his team regarding our move. In October, 2015 on a very short notice, I called and said that I needed to have furniture picked up and delivered to another location at least 50 miles away all in the same day. Mike looked at the schedule and somehow made room for that move to take place quickly in less than a week. I appreciated the attention and the care taken with the furniture at pick-up, as well as the time taken to place my furniture at time of delivery. The individuals at both the pick-up/drop-off locations were both very complimentary regarding Mike's team who handled the move. Wow! What wonderful movers. Three guys arrived on time and I walked them through what needed to be moved. They quickly started to install carpet protectors and door guards. A different company told us they would charge extra for these or we could purchase on our own and install. What impressed me is they then wrapped all furniture in plastic wrap and then in a blanket. I have only found one blemish on a piece of furniture. They had our entire house loaded in three hours and had to move everything into the foothills after a storm. The only time they stopped was to grab food and eat on the way to the new house. The quote from the sales manager was accurate and we paid what we expected. These guys were by far the best movers we have ever hired.

Want to say I am very happy with the team who moved my family up into the mountains above Boulder, CO. They were at the house early in the day, and hustled all day long! Very professional, personable and fun to talk with... all while carrying very heavy furniture off of the truck at 8000 ft.!!! At the end of the day, the final invoice was within a few bucks of the estimate. This is the third successful residential move American Moving & Storage has done for me. Manny, Eric, Carlos and Angel were awesome on our move! The loaded on one day and then the next day made the drive to Frisco to unload at our new location. They did a great job of protecting everything and getting the truck packed. We had rented a trailer thinking there wasn't going to be enough room, but they managed to have room left over. They managed the three story townhouse in Frisco expertly. A number of our items had to make it to the third floor, including a queen bed and two of the heaviest dressers. But they were able to do it with no issues. In the end we moved from the Denver metro to Frisco and not a single broken thing in the move! I could not recommend these guys enough!

Count me in as yet another very satisfied customer of American Moving & Storage. As i usually will do, I viewed reviews online for several moving companies, and American Moving & Storage had practically all 5-stars. The American Moving & Storage website was very useful, as it allowed me to create an "inventory" of all that I would need to move (more just to gauge how big of a job it may be, and how many hours to estimate for the move). Gabriel followed up with me very promptly, and was extremely courteous, helpful, and very professional. I really liked that Gabriel was so transparent when discussing pricing and really made sure I had any questions answered. For the majority of my moves, I have rented my own truck, and either had friends help me move, or hired "moving helpers". Having American Moving & Storage do it all for me was great, as it took away practically all the stress involved with a move. On move day, Ricardo and Brandon showed up ready to go! Being at a high elevation in the Denver area, and my apartment on the 3rd floor (with stairs and no elevator), I was amazed at how quickly Ricardo and Brandon went up and down the stairs moving my belongings. They took the time to wrap furniture and other belongings, and I didn't notice a single scratch when the move was done. I can't say enough good things about my experience with American Moving & Storage, and would highly recommend their services for any move...large or small. Gabriel, Ricardo, and Brandon were consummate professionals during all my interactions with them, and literally made my move easy. And, on a final note, I can say that their pricing is very reasonable, as it was about the same for what it would have cost for me to rent a truck and hire moving help separately. Great job, guys!!

Quoted me for a 5-6 hour move on a 1 bedroom apartment (from unit). Every other company nearby quoted 3 hours and charge less per hour too. Did the move (to the) apartment in under 6 hours, not sure why professionals would take as long or longer. Look nearby for better quotes and more professional companies.

Overall the move experience with the Bloomfield CO. American Movers team was successful and satisfactory. The moving team was courteous even though the leader dwelt excessively on the fact that they were short of boxes. It is difficult to determine the contents of a move based on a phone conversation and a list of goods emailed from the customer. I feel a company rep should have visited the address and accessed the contents by sight. This miscommunication is what caused the shortage of boxes. The moving team was hesitant to move glass and other small goods because a. there was no packing materials to wrap and pack glass and b. the time it would take to pack small goods like food would be critical with a shortage of boxes. This resulted in my making 4 separate trips with 3 large plastic tote boxes full each trip of the above goods to the destination address which was fortunately only 1/2 mile from the moving address. The invoice was adjusted downward from the estimate to reflect less time involved than estimated for the move. I appreciated this gesture from the move team leader.

The apartment I was moving out of was up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator and they still managed to pack and transfer all of my things extremely fast. All of my belongings were in good shape when they arrived and they helped put all of my furniture back together in no time. They were both professional and courteous. I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years and this is by far the best experience I have had. My only issue was that they quoted me at 7 hours and my move ended up taking 10 (which I understand happens), but there was an accident on the interstate that turned a 20 minute drive in between locations into an hour drive. I was told that some time would be refunded for this, which I am still waiting on. As soon as that is complete my 5 star review holds. Thanks!

American Moving & Storage has moved my business office 2 times in the last 3 years. Desks, chairs, computers, printers, plants, file cabinets and other assorted items. They showed up at the appointed time and did not waste any time getting my items packed and into their truck. The movers were very polite and very efficient. In both moves they were required to move all of my office furniture downstairs from the second floor and then back upstairs to the new office on the second floor. In both moves they did not damage or scratch even one item. The estimated cost was the same as the final price and was very reasonable and fair compared to other moving companies I contacted. We were moving at one of the busiest times of the year, and Jason was able to provide a competitive quote and meet our schedule. Moved from Northern VA to the DE coast. I was looking for a small, preferably local, mover rather than a giant firm for many reasons, including bundling our stuff with other households, different teams working on my stuff, bureaucratic red tape, etc.. I looked on Angie's List and interviewed and got quotes from 4 highly-rated movers that met my general criteria. Mike Eybers came out and did our estimate. Having the owner do this was impressive. Mike put together a bid, with a cap, that was very competitive. The final price was under the estimate and under the cap. The communications before during and after the move were excellent. Mike himself followed up a few days after the move to make sure everything went well. The packers and movers showed up on time, worked hard, and got the job done right. They were very pleasant to work with and accommodated our specific instructions. I gave them a good tip to show my appreciation and get themselves some dinner after a hard days work. With about half our boxes unpacked so far, including all our kitchen dishes, we have found no broken items. I highly recommend American Movers and would use them again (although I have NO desire to move any time soon).

American did a splendid job of moving furniture, clothing and household goods to establish a second home. With no oversight on our part, from packing to loading to unpacking and putting things away, went flawlessly. The' crew was professional, clean, very neat and very pleasant to work with. Two years later, when a much larger apartment became available in the retirement community, American moved us again. We were not disappointed with our choice, there aren't superlatives adequate to describe how well the move was executed. Two year later we decided to move most of the furniture, art, collectibles, and many other household goods from out Mt. Vernon home to the apartment. A multi-task effort that started with removing the contents of the apartment and putting all in temporary storage, then a significant move of much of what we wanted to live with the rest of our days from our home to the apartment, followed by moving all the leftovers back to our Mt. Vernon home, one more time went flawlessly. As we wanted our Mt.Vernon home to continue as our primary residence, they painstakingly made sure all the leftovers brought back looked as elegant as could be. I should add that we had such trust and confidence in the honesty and integrity of the moving crew that we left them to do their job with little to no oversight by us. This was a job we couldn't imagine trusting anyone but American Moving to do just right, and they did! Finally, we put our home on the market, and in July 2012 the final move of clothing, kitchen and pantry, and the rest of what we used in our home, with significant downsizing took place. But this time, the crew of professionals from American made what could have been a traumatic even feel far easier than we could have expected with some other company. the team treated our property and homes as if they were theirs, always with extra care to do everything just right!

We thought the service was great. We had a complicated move with different pieces of furniture going to different places (new home, storage unit, etc.), and a lot of big and heavy items as well as delicate ones. The three people who did our move - Rios, Jesus, and Florencio - were fabulous. They took things apart with care, wrapped them extremely well, and carefully took apart and then re-assembled furniture at our new place. They worked super hard and efficiently, and were very patient while we tried to make sure that everything ended up in the correct place. There service was consistently superb even at the end of a very long 10- hour day, which had involved hauling large heavy pieces of furniture up and down narrow stairs. I have moved several times and I would say that this team was the best I have experienced. Their level of service was outstanding.

Upon calling Dan I was became very confident with American Moving & Storage. Dan took the time to ask what belongings I had in my apartment and then proceeded to explain the expected billing charges. They called me the Friday before my Monday move to verify the move. Jesus R. & Florencio T. arrive right on time and proceeded to check my apartment for the move. I had everything organized and ready to go. They were very efficient and protective of my belongings when loading and unloading. They used wrap around my couch,TV,etc. I feel like they rounded up to the nearest hour when the job was done and it did come in on the high side that Dan quoted me. However, since they were so good and speedy with moving all my belongings I wasn't complaining. I would gladly use American moving again and highly recommend their excellent service! Thanks a lot!!!

American Movers makes a tough move easy. They have a great system of service, professional teams and excellent customer service from estimate to delivery, all done seamlessly. Due to rain forecast, they loaded one day and delivered the next. With a 3 hour travel route, we were unsure about timing our arrival and theirs to the the new place. A few blocks after exiting the interstate, I looked in my rear view mirror and laughed when I saw their truck. Impeccable timing! They are amazing good.

Start to finish, our entire move was so easy because of Mike and his team. I called Mike after being referred to him, and he worked with my timeline of closing on a new construction. We had been burnt by movers before, so I called to check that we were on the books and was reassured weeks in advance. A couple days before the move, Mike reached out to coordinate the day of and any last minute details. We moved from a storage unit that was jam packed to a house and the team of three handled everything with care, while moving quickly.
