I would give this family owned company 10 stars if I could! Great staple for our community. Always ask for Robert's crew, he's the best. Office staff is amazing also.

They have moved our office twice and were great both times. I highly recommend them.

Below the line is my original post for Andy’s Transfer and Storage. Following that post the owner, Patrick Longo, reached out to me and had my heirloom rocking chair restored. He also partially compensated me for the loss of my floor cloth. Mr. Longo has been generous in making amends. I can now say with great confidence, I would recommend this facility and moving service. ______________________________________________________ I vividly recall Aron avowing that all would be handled impeccably. He was inventorying my funiture and belongings into storage. I had already been present for several ours. Aaron assured, with his tens of years of experience with the company, he would take the utmost of care with my belongings. Come one year later and the company moves my belongings into my home. A hand painted floor cloth/mat, arrived crushed at the ends with dents along the rolled rug. The painted canvas is cracked in many places and the many layers of paint/polyurethane have and continue to flake off. The artist determined it is not repairable. An antique, sturdy child's rocking chair is missing a spindle along the back. It has been broken off and all that is left is splintery wood in the holes that once secured the spindle. When the spindle was broken, I should have been informed and the broken spindle should have been returned to me. Instead, the company hoped I wouldn't notice the damage to my heirloom._ Replacement Value insurance is not an option.

These are experienced movers. However, I did not feel that they were as professional as movers I have experienced in the past. They seemed to pay no attention to boxes marked fragile and marked glass. It seemed that they stacked my boxes to the ceiling of the trailer with little regard to fragility. And my load took less than a third of the trailer, so there was room to have spread out the boxes. I was told that I did not have to pack my ironing board and it arrived with a torn cover. I have not found anything else damaged at this point. As are most movers, they were in a hurry to finish.

The people that arrived to shuttle our boxes and furniture to the warehouse were very upbeat and helpful. The move went well (LA to NYC) with only two issues. 1. No call was received alerting us their arrival some weeks later, causing a mad scramble as no one lived in the apartment yet. 2. One chair leg was broken and will need to be repaired. This is a high cost move and I would expect better service and care of our items.

When my dad and stepmom moved from Chicago to Los Angeles they had everything in their basement shipped to their new city. They've been out there for about two years and had never checked on their stuff, so on a recent visit I made an appointment to see what was in the storage unit. I was a little nervous because of negative Yelp reviews and because I was confused as to whether their items were stored at Closetbox or Andy's Transfer and Storage (as it turns out, they are, at least in Glendale, the same company). The day before my scheduled visit I received a friendly call from Closetbox confirming my appointment and reminding me to bring ID. The next day my brother and I drove out there and the staff met us and opened the storage box, a large wooden crate inside a large warehouse (like the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark on a smaller scale). The warehouse seemed clean and organized. The staff was cordial. And when they opened the crate, there was all my dad's stuff: boxed, taped, labeled, neatly arranged. There was a table and a stand-up mirror I remembered from the old apartment, both wrapped in cloth and in fine shape. I wanted to find a few photos and magazines, so the guy helping us pulled out all the boxes and loaned me his box cutter. I dug through the boxes as he waited patiently. In a couple of boxes the magazines had room to slide and were bending a bit, so he found some large sheets of paper and crumpled them up and stuffed them into the box to help the magazines stay upright. Then, when I found and removed what I was looking for he made notes on his pad about what had been removed, then re-taped everything and put it back in and sealed up the crate as my brother and I took off. He was friendly and accommodating, as was everyone else I met. The next day Closetbox called back and left a voicemail saying they wanted to make sure everything had gone smoothly. All in all I was grateful and impressed.

I can't give enough stars to Andy's Transfer & Storage in Glendale. They packed and moved 37 years worth of furniture, household goods, etc. for our big move up north. We're closing on our new home next week, and they're delivering the next day. Their staff, from Kim in the office, to the movers and their manager, Robert, have been very professional, timely and considerate. They staff up well, and are able to pack quickly, and their pricing is very reasonable.

Everyone at Andy's Transfer and Storage was professional and helpful from estimate to the completion of the job. Movers did a spectacular job showing great care and speed in getting the move done. My entire move took way less time than I had anticipated, and it actually ended up costing me less than their estimate.

I have moved 13 times over the past 40 years and this was the best ever. The estimate was very accurate, the packers did a great job. The driver was prepared for special pickup and drop off instructions.

Pat at Andy's is a great guy to work with. He is as accommodating as he can be and will always try and work with you to make things go as smoothly as possible. His employees are punctual, courteous and careful. I have used them twice and recommended them several times and I always get positive feedback from the people I refer. I will use them any time I have to move.

This is the second time I have used them and have had the same crew both times. Robert, the crew chief on both jobs is always in a hurry to bang out the job as quickly as he can and move onto the next one. This one was no exception, except I'm far less pleased with the quality of the work this time around. The guys are really nice and super respectful. The older guys on the crew really do know how to pack things right and I've moved too many times to count so I know a good packing job when I see one. The problem with Robert, and most moving crew bosses, is he starts guys off in one area of the house packing and then pulls them off to do something else. Much later he'll have someone else go finish what the other started and that's when things go bad. A month after they moved me, I'm still unpacking and have yet to find my kitchen knives. I did find my husband's black electric shoe buffer and his shoe polish kit upside down in a wardrobe box full of women's white silk blouses. Not cool at all. I have found garage tools in with clothing. I have found delicate art objects in with a commercial Kitchen Aid mixer. Numerous boxes labeled "kitchen catch-all" which doesn't give me any idea what's in the box. I have found oil paintings wrapped with tape on the painting itself. They've never done this before and one small painting is now damaged and has to be repaired. The painting may look small and insignificant but it happened to be my husband's favorite painting. The crew neglected to inform me they broke a door on our nightstand and they had to have known about it because our first night in the house, I go to open said door and it fell off the hinges because the door was split. It wasn't split when the showed up to move me, that much I do know and I find it hard to believe they didn't know it was split because the shelving inside started out with all the same size shelf pins and there were mismatched shelf pins upon arrival at our new location. Something tells me the door came open while someone was lifting the furniture piece stressing the hinge and causing the door to split at the hinge and someone thought I wouldn't notice until it was too late. I hate to give this kind of review because the guys are all really nice and they work hard. This kind of stuff happens toward the end of a job and all of the issues I have mentioned in this review related to exactly that - the small oil painting was in one of the last boxes packed. They started the master closet early, got pulled off to do something else, and were running out of time and jammed everything in at the end willy nilly. Odd thing is the job had been budgeted for an entire week but for some reason their crew boss wanted it done in 3 days. I expect he might had had a long-haul job he wanted to go on but had to get mine out of the way first. My advise to anyone who is considering a professional mover is to be very specific about your requirements for packing. These guys generally know what they are doing. But for your own sanity unpacking, insist that they pack everything by room and don't mix things up from different areas of your house, just to fill up a box. It makes for a nightmare when you finally unpack. It may make for more boxes or more newsprint to fill up those empty voids in a box, but it will keep you sane when you unpack. If you have fine art, you may want to consider having a different company like Artech come in and handle your art pieces rather than a moving company.

Moved from Southern California to Oklahoma. They packed extremely well, even a vase filled with sand didn't spill. Packers in California where extremely polite and had great work ethic. They made great precautions into making sure walls and wooden flooring was not damaged. North American delivery was just as stress free. They worked extremely well getting bulky items through hard corners. They have a very handy check off list system to make sure all items are there. We're very polite and friendly.

Pricing was significantly lower than competitors; service was outstanding and all of their personnel were sincere in their concern for the safety of our furniture and other property during our move.

Hiring Andy's Transfer and Storage was the best decision I made for my move! Typically you hear nightmare stories about a cross-country move, but my experience with Andy's was a complete dream! Between their professionalism and care for my things, they were the best!
