After my experience (an eye witness) with this company, I was shocked to see they had such high ratings. I am a property manager in Memphis, TN, and we had tenants use this company to move from Benton, AR to Memphis. The tenants had to go to to our office to sign the lease in order to get the keys. After the lease is signed, we do a move-in walk through before personal items are moved in so we can ensure the property is in good condition. While the tenants were at the office signing the lease, they were telling us that they needed to hurry because the movers were at the house waiting on them. We did our best to hurry. We drove over to the house (about a 10-minute drive), and the movers had already pulled almost everything out of the truck and put it in the driveway. Not a problem. Mr. Tenant and I did the walk-through as quickly as possible. Maybe 15 minutes later, Mrs. Tenant arrives and opens the garage. The movers then place the rest of the items in the garage, then they tell the tenants they have to leave. “Because we have another job to get to.” It was approximately 4:30pm on a Friday. They have to drive back to Little Rock, about 2.5 hours. They did not have another job today. They took the money from the tenants and left. Nothing was placed in the house, and all the bedrooms are upstairs. Mr. Tenant is a retired veteran and has an artificial leg. We had no dollies or anything to help with the moving prices. The guys absolutely refused to move the furniture into the house, and the tenants were offering to pay for their time. The tenants agreed to a fixed-price rate, and I have a really hard time believing that the cost didn’t include moving in furniture. The movers’ excuse was only that they had another job. This was absolute BS. I could not believe I was witnessing this. And then Jason would not answer the phone when the tenants were calling. After seeing this horrendous situation unfold, I got on the phone and called my guys to help them move in. We made up for your piss poor customer service because it was the right thing to do. This is apparently an anomaly for this company, but I hope this review makes an impact.

Once they have exactly what needs to be moved, they begin working tirelessly until the job is completed. They always call ahead of time, to let you know they're on the way. And they take great care not only of your items to be moved, but the property with which you're moving from and/or to. I will never use another moving company and if I should move out of state I'll check first to see if Jason with Mustard Seed Moving can take care of this for me!!! You won't regret having called Mustard Seed Moving! I have now used this company twice!

This is the WORST moving experience I've ever had... and I've moved several times in my life. The movers showed up 4 hours late for my move, only 2 movers showed up instead of 3, much of the time I was charged for was spent with them resting, and I was charged over $400 dollars more than the estimate that I was given for the move. The owner was not helpful and refused to discuss what happened or the estimate he gave me vs. the amount he charged. Stay as far away from these guys as you can!

They damaged or broke many items beyond repair. Offered to send the head of the crew (Roy) to attempt to repair (without a date given) only to realize that Roy and his crew stole items from us so at that point I refused to let the thieves back in my home. The owner Jason when told about the theft of property did not deny but offered $300 for me to keep my mouth shut! After looking further into the reviews, I’ve discovered I am not the only victim they have had. I’ve filed a police report, a complaint with the BBB, and will be filing a complaint with the attorney general.

Please take these reviews serious and stay away from this company!!!!! I hired them to move my two bedroom apartment, I had everything broke down packed and ready to go. Jason sent 3 men to my apartment they started my move at 11:15am and at 1:15 they still had half of my apartment to go. When I tell you only one of the guys actually worked to get the things loaded while the other two talked. I got frustrated and asked why was it taking so long to get things moved..I knew why.. but that’s what came out. One of the guys replied well if your not satisfied we can just stop now. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. long story short i called Jason he cursed at me, they stop moving me put my things they had loaded out in the lawn and on the sidewalk, put my 60 inch tv in direct sun and ruined it. One of the workers cursed me out so bad called me out my name while Jason was on the phone and said nothing but curse at me too. I was so afraid I called 911 the police came and had to stayed with me thank god they did until they left my apartment. Please stay away from this company.

Jason (owner) was a very timely communicator via phone. When the crew showed up they were friendly and positive attitudes. They worked quickly to get my move completed and none of my items were damaged in the process. I was disappointed that they didn’t have a dolly or stretch wrap on the truck for my move however Jason provided a small discount for my inconvenience to make it right.

I'd give 0 stars is I could! Run away fast as you can from Mustard Seed Moving of Ark. They will damage your belongings and refuse to pay for them even though they claim they are bonded and insured. Go to their Facebook page and read all the horror stories and 1-star ratings. And don't believe all the 5-star ratings on FB. Notice all the 5-star ratings done on August 27, 2015 by people with last name Quinn. Coincidentally that is owner's name too so it appears he had friends and family load-up the Facebook comments with falsified 5-star ratings to bump his overall score. This is the type of person he is. Also go look at Google and Yahoo ratings but the ones on Facebook will tell you all you need to know. They badly dented my brand new $2,000 stainless steel refrigerator (see pic) moving it through a door that was not wide enough. They didn't even have the competency to first measure the door opening to see if it would fit, rather they brute forced it through creating deep gouges in the stainless steel front. The owner claims stainless steel refrigerators are not covered on the insurance per the contract I signed yet he refuses to provide a copy of said contract. Imagine not getting a copy of a legal document you sign, the contract is printed on a single-copy form with no duplicate, all you get is a receipt showing you paid. So this basically means all refrigerators are exempt from liability because most are stainless these days. Then the owner will accuse you of, "having your hands on the fridge, helping and coaching the guys to come through a tight spot and this would also disqualify the piece from any coverage". Total made-up lie that I helped push refrigerator through the door or coached them to do so. I only got involved after I saw that they were forcing it through the doorway and made them stop; too late damage already done!! 10/19/17 UPDATE: company finally sent a copy of signed contract yesterday after I posted about my bad experience on social media. Contract does in fact state damage to stainless steel appliances is not covered, which seems odd. Who would reasonably expect damage to their S/S refrigerator to be something they would just have to accept as being a normal part of the moving process? For the heck of it I called two of the largest moving companies in town and asked if their contracts specifically exclude stainless steel appliances from damage liability. They both said they do not and also said their standard protocol for moving a fridge is wrap in padded moving blanket, shrink wrap and remove doors or handles as necessary to move through doorways or other tight openings. Mustard Seed did not wrap or protect refrigerator, they just put it on the dolly and rolled it in unprotected. Caveat emptor folks!!!!

Someone I work with hired them to move her furniture. They moved furniture that I was going to take to my home. They had been given clear instructions to leave the furniture. They moved it anyway. They refused to unload the furniture from the truck and put it back in the apartment. They agreed to deliver it to my home instead. I still have not seen the furniture.

It's a mistake to hire Mustard Seed. The price that I was quoted was doubled on the day of the move. Things that were precious to me were broken and no effort was made to repair anything. The next Monday, I called about the damage and was told the man who had broken my items would be the one to come and repair them. This is unfolding and I deeply regret my decision to hire this company.

Just completed a packing/loading job with this company. They did a really good job. There was a mix-up on the amount of packing needed (I needed more packed than the poor moving guys expected), but they were really nice and able to accommodate that. The guys that helped load up my moving truck were really nice and did a good job, especially with the furniture wrapping and moving. We have not unpacked everything yet, but so far everything seems to have been handled well. Thanks for the rush job. Really appreciate it.

Mustard Seed was my first experience with a moving company and it turned out to be a terrible, regretful one. I’d hired a moving company to avoid the unreliable experiences that’s usually encountered with more personal moving arrangements far as schedules not being honored etc, well that’s just what I got anyway, a mover who showed up when he wanted, except this time it literally cost more than it ever has financially and time-wise. They ended up not moving me on the scheduled day of my move, despite my plea that I needed to be moved the day scheduled even if that night. My move was scheduled on a Friday afternoon, so I reasonably averaged they would be there by late afternoon around 2pm. I patiently waited without any communication and it wasn’t until I contacted Jason at almost 4pm that I was told they were running behind but would still move me that day. After 5pm, I was told the movers would be there ‘after they get something to eat.’ I still showed patience and understanding per their running several hours behind scheduled arrival. Later I was told he couldn’t get a hold of his movers and asked if I would like to moved Saturday instead to which I expressed I need to move Friday even if that night because I’d taken off work and I had a scheduled Saturday business and plans not wanting to be inconvenienced even more. Well Jason ‘texted’ back later and despite my needs and what was agreed upon, told me I'd be moved Saturday anyway. At this point I called Jason expressing how upset I was and an inconvenience it was and I was literally told in the conversation by Jason ‘that things happen’ being talked to as if I was someone he personally knew and doing a personal favor - not as a customer doing business with him, and for the first time. He was nonchalance and there was no genuine compassion shown as to how all of that affected me. He also refused a discount for the outcome of things when I asked claiming I was already getting a discount referring to the promotional $37 travel discount where as a customer it was arrangement whereas I too was giving something in exchange (social media publicity). Any credible business owner knows does not apply to giving an actual service discount in cases where you fail to deliver the service as expected. Not to mention, a week later I discovered that the shelves to my entertainment center which were taken out and moved separately were missing. I contacted Jason, but my shelves from being moved a week before I discovered that I didn’t have them haven’t been located and returned. So on top of the terrible service, some of my belongings were lost. And no, I wasn’t offered any compensation for that either. The movers themselves were pleasant, but their owner Jason is a careless individual who doesn’t uphold the character of business integrity. When he fails to deliver good service which sometimes happens in business, he doesn’t actually CARE to rectify the issue.

These movers were the worst. Broke dishes, dropped boxes, scraped the bedroom furniture badly and were rude and unprofessional. Left our items out in the yard unattended and left to make a trip to the new place without telling us so that we had to split up. The entire move was a nightmare from start to finish. They even left some furniture outside at the new place and left without bringing it inside. Damaged one of a kind items that can never be replaced.

If you need a moving company, run, don't walk, from this one as fast as you can. No honor or integrity. Jason, the owner, reviewed a list and quote from another company and agreed to do the move as quoted. Day one, five men showed up to pack. Four were there about 8:30. The fifth showed up about nine with packing material. While the four waited they used materials I had bought for packing. They ran out of material about 2:30 and were told by their boss to quit for the day. Day two, only two men arrived to finish packing and load the truck, one rented from Budget. When I reminded them they still had not started on the storage shed in back, the forman grabbed his head and said "Oh, I forgot". At six that evening they quit because they were not allowed to work anymore that day. The next day they unloaded the truck at my place. Broke a glass shelf from one of my cabinets and broke the legs off a small table. They threw one of the legs in back as if to hide the evidence. I was told they were finished and were ready to be paid. When I asked about the rest of my things, what they had not yet moved, I was told to contact Jason. I did and he said I could get the boxes in my car since I would be coming back anyway. When I asked if I was supposed to get the dining chairs and washer and dryer in my car also, he said he didn't know anything about them. How do you move a dining table and not take the chairs? I called my son, whose girlfriend had arranged the move. I told him I was not paying the remainder of the fee and why. He said since Kim had signed the contract her credit would be ruined if I did not pay. I then called Jason. I told him I would give his guys a check, but if my name had been on the contract, he would not have received one red cent until the rest of things had been moved. After that the forman said he received a call from his boss, Jason, and they would get the rest of things the next day. The bank called the next morning to confirm I had written a check to Jason Quinn. Thinking I would still have things moved, I said it was alright to honor it. At one o'clock I called to see where they were and was told they were only going to move things to storage shed in back. It cost me another $330.00 plus the rental of a shortage place to have another company move the larger of my things. I worked for the next five days getting the remainder of my things moved. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Terrible. Just terrible. The list of complaints and damaged items was endless. Gave owner multiple opportunities to remedy the situation. Never rude with the owner, but quickly found out that his solution to unhappy customers is to just outright ignore them and hope they'll go away. First he started ignoring my phone calls and voicemails, and would only respond to texts. Then he started ignoring the texts too. He wouldn't answer questions. Apparently not adult enough to deal with real life business situations or problems himself, which is pretty essential as a business owner. Made his secretary call me for payment. Never apologized for anything. Bad business ethic. Be warned.

We used Mustard Seed on Monday to unload our Penske truck. We just relocated back from Colorado and the scheduling and communication was on point. He sent two guys which did an amazing and professional job making sure our items were placed accordingly and that they were not damaged. They didn’t take a break and worked until the 26ft truck was unloaded. The guys were completely professional and after a bad experience here before with another company, I would highly recommend them. If you can get Tanner to help with the move, he is great!

Let me explain the process of Mustard Seed Moving. As a ex employee and what I saw as a customer side experience. Jason, the owner, is not who he seems to be. If there is a word that is more demeaning then "shady," let me know. Jason will post ads on Craigslist looking for someone to hire. You click on it and set an appointment and time with him. You show up the day the meeting takes place and he gives you all this paperwork to sign that he "premade" for you with your name printed on some. The most interesting paper? "Your Name" Moving Company LLC. People who know nothing about business laws/ practices will naively sign that paper and forfeights their rights of the company protecting them of damages caused by YOU. That includes wages. JASON IS FAMOUS FOR NOT PAYING HIS WORKERS ESPECIALLY IF IT IS THE LAST DAY OF THE JOB. Signing that paper makes it harder for you to fight for your rights because it is considered a b2b contract now. The craziest part is how he pays you. You will have to meet him randomly in weird parts of little rock to get your pay. If you think that the amount is right. Wrong. It will never be the correct wage. You sign off on it because he is known to have a gun in his car at all times because of how many people he burned in the past. Jason you owe me and a lot of people that used to work for you who you burned while I was employed there money. I hope people who read this do not go work for him and do not support his business. For the customer side. The reason why your furniture has not showed up is because he thinks that you owe him money. Just watch your back. If I came to your house and put a big hole on your wall. Mustard Seed is not covering that. I am. Jason is not good to do business with period.
