We just used this company for the second time and we were amazed once again how efficient and fast they are. Miles and Matthew was the crew that moved us from our apartment in north Phoenix to our new home in Ahawatukee. They did a awesome job and were very careful with all our furniture. We will use them again soon to move our grandma to our home. Definitely a 5 start moving company!

WHAT A RELIEF!! So nobody likes to move period! finding Get Your Move On, was my saving grace, all i had to do was pack and unpack, everything else was taken care of buy the guys at Get Your Move On, they made my moving experience as painless as possible! i hope i don't have to move any time soon, but if i do, i will definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anybody that is moving, or needing storage!! these guys are the best!!!

From the first request for quote through the physical move, GYMO was customer centric and quality focused. I HIGHLY recommend them for any move you are considering. Our experience with Get Your Move On was nothing short of stellar. They came highly recommended by my in-laws, so we gave them a chance. Needless to say, I was very impressed. They showed up promptly at 7am to our apartment and were ready to work. I never once heard any complaints (even though one poor guy was allergic to our cat.. sorry!!). They moved us from a second story apartment to a tri-level house - including moving appliances as well. My husband and I were so impressed that they took the time to wrap every piece of furniture that we had. Overall, a very enjoyable experience - exactly what you need during a stressful situation like moving.

When I say WOW I mean WOW I came down with a medical issue 2 days before moving and basically couldn’t pack all of my last of my things. There was no judgement or hesitation when our movers showed up and we were wayyyyy behind. They helped us every step of the way. Truth be told, I almost did not use GetYourMoveOn because they weren’t the cheapest, after reading other reviews I had a feeling they were worth it. Thank god I did I couldn’t have had a better moving experience during an already stressful time

Not everything about our move went smoothly. Actually, a lot of it went horribly wrong. But most of what went wrong wasn't the fault of anyone at Get Your Move On. And the folks at GYMO did everything they could to make things go well, to keep us happy, and to fix what mistakes they made. To me that's how a company earns five stars. It's easy to do the right thing when things go smoothly. But GYMO took care of us even when things were rough or down right disasters. They went above and beyond what I asked of them. I would never hesitate to refer a friend or family member to them because I know they'd be well cared for. Thanks GYMO for making a difficult time a little easier.

Ronnie and Ryan were fast, helpful, and incredibly timely! They called me and were able to arrive early and move all of my items in only two hours. Even better, they packed up what I hadn't packed and moved it for me, which meant all I had to do was unpack and get settled. Get Your Move On's pricing is incredible reasonable, too and their services are worth at least twice what I actually paid. I can't recommend them enough!

Update 12/22/2013. Spoke with both managers and I'm really happy with how they handled my situation. The managers and owners really care about their customers and making sure they are treated properly. Definitely recommended even though my original experience was bad, I am confident if I used Get Your Move On again, they would be 5/5. Below is my original experience, which I feel was a rare situation. --- August 2013 --- Slow movers, poor wrapping, damaged and dirtied my mattresses. Not sure if I got them on a bad day or what. I have used moving services in the past and tried Get Your Move on based on yelp reviews. Movers showed up on time, but all seemed sluggish on Saturday morning. They had no pep at all moving my stuff which was all packed up super well and sitting just inside neatly ready to GO. These guys didn't get their move on, they got my wallet emptied. Once the truck was loaded, they needed to move it about 5 miles away to a storage unit. The movers wasted 15 minutes inside the storage unit complex attempting to turn down the wrong isle. I was standing in front of the correct isle pointing them to the correct one, they went past, attempted to navigate a tight turn, and then wasted 15 minutes backing up the truck 100 times. Meanwhile I was charged for this! The movers also rubbed my new white mattresses against the dirty ground and ripped the sides of my mattresses. I still tipped the guys $40 on this $400 job! I have no idea why.. I guess I felt bad not tipping. I complained to the owner and he said he would call me to follow up and "make things right". I never received a phone call. Now I got spammed to write a review for them, otherwise I wouldn't even have wasted time with this.

This group was recommended to me by a friend. They showed up on time, moved my things with care and efficiency. They were pleasant and courteous all day. Walked through afterwards to make sure I didn't want anything moved around before they left. The only issue was that I was not informed that paying with a cc is an additional fee, wish I had known that before payment time. Otherwise terrific service. Liked that I got a profile of my movers before they arrived also. Recommended them to my realtor and would use them again!

The four man crew showed up neat and clean and ready to work. After a quick tour of the house, they laid runners to protect the carpet and started to work. Each man seemed to work independently on his responsibility smoothly meshing as a team. Each large item was wrapped in plastic then in blankets neatly with large rubber- bands and moved out to the truck. Our packed boxes were stacked and moved out. Three hours later the truck was packed and on the way. At the destination again they smoothly brought in furniture, boxes, unpacked and took out the waste. The total cost was under the quoted price. Very smooth and easily recommended. each item was quick

We had a listing in a guard gated community where the buyer decided last minute to not purchase all of the furnishings and they had to be packed, removed AND stored within FOUR hours and Get Your Move On made it happen. Not only was our team impressed, but so was the seller and his property manager. We found this company on Angie's list and also checked Yelp reviews. Their reviews seemed too good to be true, but made a tough decision easy. Their pricing is competitive, but not the cheapest and like other reviewers mention you get what you pay for. They were easy to work with from the quoting process through the end of the move. We didn't have any problems so I can't speak to how they handle disputes, but everyone we dealt with was very professional. They sent three guys (Chad, Matthew, David) and the entire move, about 6 miles from house to house, took about 3 hours. At one point a fourth guy (Rico) showed up and one of the originals (David) left for another job. They wrapped almost everything in blankets and then shrink wrap. They worked quickly, got along well as a team and all seemed to be in good spirits (one was even humming to himself). This made the process less stressful. Damage/scratches to refrigerators is a common complaint in reviews of other companies. When we expressed concern about how they'd move a brand new large stainless steel refrigerator up outdoor stairs (around block walls and huge rocks), they said it was no problem and told us how they'd protect it (they handled it as carefully as they did the large wood furniture, mirrors, etc.) and it was positioned in its new home unharmed. I hope we don't move again any time soon, but we would definitely use this company again and we highly recommend them.

The easiest and most enjoyable part of my recent move was hiring "Get Your Move On". I was able to get sound advice from Derek to prep for the move and keep my costs down. Absolutely no hidden charges or confusing billing at all!! (1-truck fee plus an hourly rate for 3 men -billed to the quarter hour) There was not a single thing wrong with the 3 guys, their work ethic, or the equipment. They arrived on time, introduced themselves to my family, did a quick walk thru, and then got right to work. The only break they took was to physically drive to my storage unit and to the new house. Everything was padded, wrapped, strapped, and transported with utter professionalism and care. NOTHING was scratched, broken, lost, or even treated harshly. My 11 year old son and I were able to help them with some smaller things -keeping the cost down even further. By the end of the day I was convinced that hiring "Get Your Move On" was the best move I could have made.

Once I let the two movers into my apartment, within one second the first mover (who walked in first) already bent down to pick up the first box. Derek and Peter and everyone there at Get Your Move On are amazing. I recommend them to all my friends and family and employees. They have moved my office manager twice and she can’t say enough about how professional they are. My favorite thing about them is how happy their guys are. That might sound weird, but it really makes a difference when your movers are clean cut, nice, and enjoy what they do. They aren’t the cheapest, but that’s because you get what you pay for. For me, choosing a sketchy mover that is touching ALL of my stuff is not worth it. Check out their reviews – they are for real.

Everyone hates moving... that's a given. Never thought a moving company could actually DECREASE the stress! We had a 4 stop move! Talk about stress! They handled it all no prob! We had 3 movers that were professional as can be (something that is not synonymous with that particular industry). The guys worked their butts off from 8am until 6pm. We got them lunch and offered them some beers but they didn't take them. That's a first! When the day ended I knew where all the items were, nothing was damages (not even a scratch) and there was no buyers remorse from choosing this company. I don't think I've EVER recommended a moving company... but I most definitely recommend the crew at Get Your Move On. Best experience I've ever had with movers (and I've moved a lot)!

These guys are terrific! Over the years, we had collected many ceramics, small statues, and pictures. The packers carefully handled and protected each and every item, working a full day just to do that. The next day was devoted to packing the usual stuff -- dishes, pots, pans, linens, etc. They carefully marked every box, and always asked questions when they needed to know what we wanted done. The third day was the turn of the moving crew, who loaded two trucks by three in the afternoon. There were no scratches, dents, marks etc. in the home, and we were able to leave it in good shape for the buyer. The guys were always cheerful, professional and helpful. If you want a local move, this is the company!

I called this company about 3 hours before they closed, the day before I needed movers in Scottsdale. Both Derek and Roger were able to come through with a crew that got the job done. The next morning, Adrian and his crew showed up, and moved faster than anyone I have ever seen before. They carefully wrapped up every item that needed to be protected, and within minutes, this entire room was empty, sitting in the back of the moving truck. The trucks come prepared with boxes, plastic wrap, multiple dollies, hydraulic lifts, and many other items that make their job most efficient. Not a single scratch on a single item, no broken wheels, desks, chairs, etc.. It was the fastest moving crew I've seen, and they took special care of the items being moved.

I moved from Chandler to East Mesa and had to store my belongings with Get Your Move on for a few weeks in between moves. I was assured everything (even candles) would be fine when moving in early Sept. and when we got our belongings delivered to the new house I was not disappointed! Roger even took my boxes of candles and put them in his office for safe keeping just in case! I did have a leg of a fire pit come off, it was rusted already, however Roger took care of having it welded back on and delivered it a week later at no extra charge. The guys were on time each trip and they work hard and consistently. Only stopping for Gatorade breaks. They get the job done quick and efficient. All of my furniture was wrapped and all the boxes we packed were handled with care. They even helped get my clothes into the clothes boxes. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who is moving.
