Writing a second review. Used Allstar to move last year and was so impressed I used them again this year. Once again very good service at a great price.

I used another moving company in the past, who gave me what I thought was good pricing over the phone but on move day there were hidden extra charges for fuel surcharge, stairs, shrink wrap etc. I recently used Allstar Movers and couldn't be more pleased. Movers were on time, worked efficiently, and were friendly. Office staff was helpful, and best of all no hidden charges on move day. I will recommend them, and use them when I move in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would. When I called to ask about rates, I specifically asked if there were additional charges for anything. I was told about a charge for stairs and the 19% fuel charge. On the day of the move, they tried to charge me for moving my entertainment center (which the driver was able to remove after 2 phone calls). I was also charged $.99/mile that totaled 58.6 miles so they charged me from their location in Mesa to Peoria. When I called the office on the day of the move the girl knew nothing and said the driver's would make the decisions on charges. After the move, I called to talk to a "manager" about poor customer service and to discuss the damage done to a wall and furniture. I left 2 messages and no return call. When I finally was able to talk to someone she said that because I didn't follow the "Claims Procedure", which was given to me as the movers were leaving, there was nothing they would do. She did not seem at all concerned about my dissatisfaction.

You get what you pay for in a moving company and AllStar Movers is worth paying just a little bit more than the "bargain" companies. I moved from a third story apartment in mid June (hot!) Throughout the process they were very transparent in what they were doing and quick to answer any questions or concerns I about moving certain objects. They came on time and had all the necessary supplies and personnel to move my entire apartment. They worked with efficiency and care to make sure all my items were taken care of. They even shared a few tips on how to fix damage that other movers had previously caused! Would hire them again and highly recommend them to others who want their items taken care of for a fair price.

This company is my winner of 2015 so far! We scheduled service this this company after I called numerous movers. We choose them because they were extremely professional when we initially called, they asked questions to determine our requirements and expectations, pricing was very fair and the are a local family owned and operated company. The moving crew was very professional and pleasant even though the home we moved from had very difficult stairs. All of our items and furniture arrived without any issues. Their vehicle was much larger than we expected but we needed all 40' of it. I guess we have more stuff than we accounted for. Allstar Metro Movers keep up the great work. You run a great operation with great people. Thank you.

Allstar Movers just finished moving us to our new home. It was a very long day because we had way too much furniture, boxes and just stuff. The moving gentlemen did an outstanding job. They were pleasant and patient the entire time even when my wife couldn't decide where she wanted certain things. The price was really fair for the service. I recommend Allstar to everyone.

Everything went great up until payment. They had put a hold on the credit card we were using, and I had already specified to them in a phone conversation that this was not going be a card that was physically present. When it came time to cash out I asked them to simply charge the card that they had previously used. This could have turned into a huge issue but Jan from the office quickly resolved it. Thanks! Also make sure to read the moving agreement before you sign it, it specifies that they can hold your property as collateral until the charges are paid. Overall honest moving company and professional from the start, no hidden charges and they were very helpful!

Allstar Metro Movers is a fine company that does what they say they will do. Very nice office people and movers. Best of all, as pointed out by other reviewers, no nonsense additional charges. I've moved a couple of times in the last few years. Lat time was with _Z Discount Movers and it didn't turn out so good. I liked receiving an email confirmation from Allstar beforehand. The actual moving was done by movers who were obviously well trained and highly experienced. I was very, very pleased. I just had the opportunity to move again and as before I used Allstar and they did not disappoint. As before the service was top notch. I really love this moving company and wouldn't use anyone else.

Over the past two years our firm has used All Star Movers several times and I was so impressed by their professionalism and pricing that I engaged them for my personal home move. As a repeat customer you are also afforded a discount. How many other movers do that?! From the scheduling to the drivers everything goes as you would expect. Horrible Customer Service - The RUDEST customer service representative I've ever dealt with. I'm trying to get a quote and for the second time calling this company now that I have a move date. The woman was short, double talking me about truck sizes, prices, not addressing my concerns .... and then had the nerve to hangup on me. If that's the way they treat potential customers I can only imagine how they would treat anyone's property. BAD DEAL! don't do business with these guys

The last time we moved we used a company with box trucks and they had to make several trips on our dime. This time we choose this company because they have various size custom dimension enclosed trailers. We went with their recommended size and bingo - we were moved in one trip which save quite a bit of money. After scheduling we received an email that stated pricing and included some good info. The crew was professional and quick. Best of all no dents, nicks, broken furniture or drama. We recommend Allstar Metro and will refer all of our family and friends. We were very happy with their service.

EXCEPTIONAL COMPANY! I used Allstar Metro to move recently and now that we are some what organized I wanted to post about our experience. I shopped pricing and reputation of several company and at the end of the day I found them to offer service based on our personal requirements not a one size fits all like other companies offered. The pricing was actually lower than most of the others. Their staff was polite, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The moving crew of 3 gentlemen were exceptional. They moved efficiently and carefully. They even brought me the change that fell out of one of our sofas in the vehicle when it was moved. In our opinion they are the only moving company we would ever consider using.

These guys move slower than you could possibly imagine. So slow, that I eventually told them to leave things and just go. Also. Explain to me how it's okay to take a smoke break while I'm paying you. Water breaks. Sure. But I'm not going to pay you to smoke even one cigarette. Do it on your own time. I had to move my own mattress and box spring down stairs. And to put the icing on the cake the owner was a complete jerk to my wife on the phone when she called to complain. I have moved several times and have used movers every time and this company is by far the worst. I do not recommend them at all. I literally could have moved my house by myself in half the time it took them if I would have had a truck to move it. I pay for convenience, not headache. I should not have to make 2 or 3 trips back to my other house to get what they left because I wasn't going to continue to pay them to move like molasses. What a total waste.

Back in November 2014, my family went through a very traumatic experience. They had to move out of their apartment fast. Doug and his crew were so very helpful & considerate of our very complicated situation. With great care and a genuine heart they got the job done even though our move was sort of troublesome. I'm no one to write many reviews about companies. But these guys did an excellent job. I've used 3 other moving companies previously, and these guys were the fastest, cheapest and most professional. They told me what the upfront cost were going to be for having stairs and a large tv, which I expected, and they got things done extremely fast. They were very nice and polite and did not damage anything. You could tell they were experienced and knew how to maneuver every piece of furniture I had through my narrow front door. I will DEFINITELY use these guys again.

Used them before and had a great experience. This time around not as good. Be careful--while they send you several different emails to review, you have to open an attachment to find out that there is a surcharge to pay with a credit card. The rep never mentioned this on the phone, the emails written with several different colors highlighting important facts of the transaction didn't mention this either. They mention it in an attachment. I called up saying I was a repeat customer and the best the CSR would say was "we agree to disagree" and hung up. They care more about their bottom line than repeat business or referrals.

Solid movers at a very reasonable rate! We moved from a two story home into a single level home in Phoenix during a hot summer day. Our movers were polite and efficient - the guys were very reliable and we are so grateful for their help! Compared with other moving companies in the valley, I thought the hourly rate was very fair. Horrible, horrible, horrible truly have not had this bad of an experience. People they sent were young, didn't stay self motivated, 1 of the 4 I used didn't lift anything. The other 3 were using my things as swords. Paid way too much money, and they charged an amount that I hadn't agreed to. Slowed me a contact that had someone else's name on it, and swiped a card that low and behold wasn't returned to me. The owner was rude and didn't follow through on making it stop. I have photosof these kids wheeling aroundmy drivewayin myoffice chairs, playing swords with my nightstand, and onecouldn't takea hint that I'm married.When I disputed with the owner they had the drivers shut the truck and take off with my things. Thank God for a supportive bank and officer Poulospollos with Phoenix pd. My things were eventually left in the driveway and the Street. Run far far away from this company!

I'm happy with basically everything that Allstar Metro Movers ("Scott" and his crew) did on Friday 4/29 to help us with our move into our new home. Two words I'd use to describe their service are Respectful and Efficient. The day started with a phone call, giving me a heads-up that they were headed to the storage unit. After loading up the 10x20 storage unit that was stuffed full, they met me at the 1BR apartment and loaded it up. We then met at our new house in Goodyear for the unloading process. 99% of our things got put into the correct room, and they were very careful of walls and doors and our property in general as they moved things in. I ended up paying a little over $800 for 6 hours' worth of work and driving. but I paid for good services and received it. Allstar Metro Movers, and Scott and his crew, are awesome and I'd recommend their service to anyone.

Just completed our fourth move in seven years. This is the first time we used Allstar since our neighbors used them and highly recommended them. Absolutely the BEST move ever. Took less than ten minutes to get a quote and set up our service. They emailed all of our paperwork so no surprises on move day.
