If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. The crew were very friendly, BUT:
1. They stole prescription medications out of my bedside table. Make sure any valuables, medications, etc are well hidden.
2. They broke one of the legs off the couch, and they didn’t bother to tell me. I only discovered it after they left, when the couch collapsed as soon as I sat down.
3. They are required to lay down carpet protectors, but they did so only halfway to one of the two bedrooms of my apartment - no protectors for the other bedroom, the living room, etc. Both old and new apartments ended up with carpet stains. They also didn’t remove the carpet protectors after, as they are supposed to do (although this is partially on me - I was anxious about the time being charged and wanted to avoid paying another full hour).
4. If you need to keep the time under a certain amount, be prepared to be in charge of the clock. I booked for two hours. During this time, they kept coming back and asking if they could take more. At the one hour mark, I said that I would like to head over to the new building so as to keep within the two hour mark. I then discovered that they had simply been taking items down to the garage - they hadn’t even started packing the truck. The entire move took four hours. They also charge for the drive time to and from their warehouse - I completely understand paying for the drive time between organ and destination, but to and from the warehouse shouldn’t be on me.
5. I reported the problems above to management; they said they would take it to the owner. So far, I’ve gotten no response.
A very disappointing and frustrating experience. The crew leader was very friendly and helpful, but the issues listed above created incredible stress and headaches - not too mention costing me massive amounts of money and effort.
