My favorite movie theater, the food is good, popcorn is always fresh, perhaps because there is always people to consume it. They also serve pizza, nachos, funnel cake and some other snacks. There are several auditoriums of different size, with diverse screen sizes from ultra screen to normal. They have everything except for Imax.

Seating was clean and a friendly yet uncaring staff.. I asked for a fresh hot popcorn, she said yeah it is. It was not, we went to get a fresher refill (they blamed it on the toppings) I went and asked for fresh and guess what it was the first was popcorn we got and it wasn’t chewy. Very disappointed customers here. Never have had any issue like this at AMC PLEASE retain your crew to of quality snacks and when something is pointed out they shouldn’t roll their eyes. My first choice for movie watching of the theaters in the Madison area. They have plenty of selection, at reasonable prices, with discounted days. They were the first theater to upgrade their seating to recliners with foot rests. Their snack selection is pretty standard, but the drinks selection in regards to fountain drinks is very limited by comparison to other theaters in the area. The staff are usually quite polite, and have on some occasions gone above and beyond my expectations for service. If you're thinking of seeing movie in Madison on the west side of town, check here first.

Went to Marcus theater for a movie that starts at 12.40 on there website and there kiosk,went up to the desk and they said the showings at 1pm Online and on there kiosk are wrong,now I’m sitting here for 40 minutes waiting for the correct showing.

The theatre is amazing and the staff are nice. The do need to do better cleaning theatres after the day concludes as their reclining chairs have old popcorn and other crud in the crevices. I bet if you moved the chairs you'd find more junk underneath them.

You could tell that the movie theater had not been cleaned all day. It was so disgusting. I took a video of how disgusting it was- sickening. Also it was so incredibly hot in the theater—I’m guessing like 75 degrees. It was just disgusting and sticky. When I went to the manager, he said he’d try and turn it down, but corporate has the temperature set. What? After the movie I again went to the manager because it was a terrible experience and he said that he is sorry I felt that way. Worst experience ever. I WOULD recommend FLIXBREWHOUSE in the east town mall. I have a great experience there every time.

Their security policy regarding large bags are unreasonable and unfriendly. We were rejected at the entrance. We went there by bus and my boyfriend had a messenger bag with him. If you don’t allow big bags at least offer luggage storage services like a locker,but there’s nothing for people who have big bags. (Unless you just don’t like being responsible lol) The manager on site claiming that the policy is on the website but the policy is no where to find. They also claimed that the policy has been going on for 2 weeks, but why you don’t consider your customers? Things were fine last year. They are discriminating against people like us.

A bit pricy but worth it! The seats are exceptionally comfortable and recline electronically. The lighting and theater layout was great. I've always had pleasant experiences here and highly recommend it!

Went to see multiple movies here and this will probably be the only movie theater I will go to. BUT every time there was a small but noticeable seat or screen malfunction for example flickering on the whole screen (like old timey film), small bright spot in the middle of the screen, clunky seat reclining, and shakey seats. The guest treatment and the customer service are on point.

If you buy tickets online with the Marcus app and want a refund you have to go in personally and get the refund...but the refund won’t go right back into your card you’ll have to wait 2-3 business days. Which isn’t great, I had bought tickets at the point cinema by accident when I wanted tickets somewhere else, I had to drive that night from the east side of Madison to the west side and 30 minute drive there and back. Not too happy that my night got wasted :/

This theater is awesome, expect to find the standard overpriced food and you will not be disappointed. The seating is great and the tickets are reasonably priced for the area. I can't really mark them down for price of food because this is how it is at every theater and I will never understand it.

I love this theater. It may be pricey, but the amazing movie and sound quality, along with super comfortable seating, is worth it. The seating is spaced out well, so you aren't super close to the person next to you. You can get food to eat with your movie too! You can get pizza, burgers, chicken, etc.

This is one of those theaters where you need to order your seats in advance. While this is nice for the people who are willing to plan ahead but those of us who can't plan more than 2 hours in advance need a better option. There is always a possibility that you show up to the theater only to discover that there are only two seats on opposite sides of the theater for you and your friend. Sorry that this isn't specific to this theater. Asides from that I have enjoyed my time at this theater.

This place is great for seeing movies. They have a full service bar with food & great movie seats. You can select your seats ahead of time. It's my go-to movie theatre in Madison. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is the low food quality.

The only place to watch a movie!! The ease of pre-ordering tickets and picking your seat is awesome. The “cheap seats” on Tuesday make viewing a movie on a budget possible! The reclining chairs and the super WIDE aisles are entirely awesome. This last show I took my mom & sister to see a re-release of Gone With the Wind. It was amazing to see it on the big screen!

All seating is reserved and they're all the "DreamLounger" chairs. Chairs are comfortable and I've never had issue printing my ticket from their front kiosks. There's a large, open parking lot as well as the parking ramp (all parking is free). Also, $5.00 movie tickets every Tuesday!

Really nice and clean theater. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the price. By the time I got tickets and a snack I think I paid like almost thirty dollars. The drinks and popcorn are refillable though so that does help ease the pain. Overall, good experience.

Me and my partner went to see the Avengers End Game. We bought a popcorn and drinks knowing that I have a lot of Marcus rewards points to use. I gave my Marcus rewards card to the employee (sadly he was one of the team leads) and told the employee that I would like to use my reward points for the purchase. The employee came back to me and said that I dont have any points on my card. I replied back and requested him to check it again because there's at least $5 there. He kept saying that I dont have rewards points available. I gave him my marcus rewards card again and asked him to scan it again and all of sudden the bill went down to $0. That means I had way enough points to pay for the bill. The employee looked at me funny..like ooops... he caught me.. which is ridiculous and so dishonest. This is the 2nd time I tried using my rewards and have been misled from not using them by Marcus' employees telling me that I dont have any points on my rewards card. I paid attention to my bill this time and caught the employee trying to mislead me from not using my reward points. I suggest to this company to stand by with your rewards and promotions and don't mislead your loyal customers. We've been coming to this location for so long to watch our favorite movies. I'm extremely unhappy on how I was treated by your own "Lead" employee, not a very good example to "Lead" other employees. I'm strongly having second thoughts of coming to this theatre in the future. I felt that they broke my trust as a loyal customer.

My party arrived "Just" on time. We were quickly helped. Tickets, concessions, and in seats before movie started! We missed some previews, but because of their efficiency we didn't miss any part of the movie. And the staff were all extremely polite seems helpful.

This is a very nice theater. They have stadium seating with recliners and reserved seating. I love both of those features. The seat my son had was broken and the manager took care of us. They were very generous.

Went in about a month or so back. Had amazing customer service. Went it to see a movie, bought the tickets earlier in the week for a certain time. When I got there and got the food and walked into the movie it already started.... my boyfriend looks at the tickets and there ticket said it started 30 mins ago. Well we walked out and ran up to be later on the manager and he and his staff was as confused when they saw the app on my phone showed a different time. They ended up giving us tickets for the problem for free next time as well as get us in the next showing. We waited went into the movie. And the whole movie theater was uncontrolled, messing around and talking and on there phones taking on there phones while watching the movie. I could barely get halfway through the movie,yet I kept giving it a chance hoping to see staff patrol the theater. They used to do that. Well after the movie as I was annoyed I walked up again to what was the manager to tell him this was my worst experience ever. I go to a lot of movies. Anyway, he handled it well as he took blame for mo one coming in to look around as well as gave us more free tickets as there was a problem to the point where I wasnt coming back. Anyway the staff and the manager did a great job with making the situation better.

I will literally go out of my way to make it to this theatre, the sound is fantastic and the seats are clean. I only go to Marcus theatres now and love the bistros!

Going on tuesdays is a great deal, you can get $2 popcorn and $5 movies with their free membership program. I recommend reserving seats at least a few days in advance, as seats seem to run out quickly, especially for multiple people. Overall the theater itself was nice and clean

I'm a big fan of the Marcus theater design. They purposely designed their theaters for comfort and convenience. All seating is assigned and is typically in comfortable reclining chairs with ample distance between your seat and the rows in front and behind you. There is also a bar in the main area of the theater, where you can buy alcoholic drinks to take into the theater rooms. My only complaint is with the quality of the hot, cooked food they provide in the restaurant theater rooms. It's usually low quality and over priced, and you're required to purchase something if you book in these rooms. If you are also not a fan of the food, I'd recommend ordering a drink instead.

A great spot to catch a movie any day of the week. Comfortable seating, huge concession stand choices, and great alcoholic beverage choices. Of the two theaters on the west side, this theater provides more to the consumer on their $5 Tuesday ticket promotion. You get a small popcorn for free and reduced cost select candies. One con is that some of the theaters have really messed up upholstery on their seats which they should really address sooner than later. Overall a good choice theater.

Quality is going down hill, but still has amazing movies and is a great theater to go to. I personally like the super screen more than the ultra screen myself, but every person can have there own opinion. Make sure to go on Tuesday's, get their rewards card, and use Fandango, and this place is well worth the time spent.
