Worse place ever on Fridays and Saturdays. Teens being stupid and defeating the purpose of coming to "WATCH" a movie. I also found out through reading recent reviews that they still have 5dollar Tuesdays. :D.... An employee told me last year that they no longer had this deal two or three times and I was charged full price. So ever since those occasions I stopped trying to come for their "supposed" Tuesday deals. I don't know if I was ever a lying and obnoxious teen, but boy.. do I hate this movie theater for that reason (If the room is filled with teens and it's FDL theater run as fast as you can! They will ruin the movie for you). Although, I might mention that the one guy (this particular employee wasn't a teen) who kept charging me full price for Tuesdays graduated with me 8 years ago. He was probably a low lifer who needed my extra cash which is basically stealing but you know .... SO I have to rant... Just a bit upset now that I finally realized that fact.

Wasnt expecting the best experience but they proved me wrong the theater was clean and we enjoyed going snack prices are arround the price they were before but the quality was better the staff were friendly curtious and helpful popcorn was fresh and not stale soda was not flat

Well let's start off with the exterior paint job. What a horrid color, not attractive, and immediately shows this place is cheap. Felt like I was in the 80s. Seats were awful. Low, tiny, stiff, and felt like I could feel the person behind me breathing on me. Screen and sound is outdated. Little movie selection, some people want variety and don't just want the main blockbusters. Lastly, bathrooms... just a horror show. Overall, this was the biggest joke of a movie theater I have been to. Owner and management should be ashamed and you can tell they are baiting off of being the only movie theatre in town and don't care for customers experience. A different movie theatre is ABSOLUTELY the BEST option. 0/5 stars. Hope this review is helpful. Trying to save customers money and hopefully this place realizes it needs a serious upgrade or be torn down.

The Fond Du Lac Theater isn't the most amazing theater you will see or the biggest but it does provide a great atmosphere at a reasonable price. They have the latest movies in nice accommodations. They have popcorn, candy, and combo deals that are actually reasonable. I'm so used to spending up to $12-20 for a combo but you can get them for around $8 on a medium pop and medium popcorn. The pop if you get a large has free refills but if you want it for another size you have to pay $0.50 or $0.75 per a refill. I personally like the theater and find that the matinee deals are actually really good. I went with my wife and saw a movie for under $25 dollars (movice, drinks, food, etc...) for a new release.

We were in theater 3 and the top left side of the screen had a blue tint to it. Reminded me of the old tube tv that had a magnet get to close to it. Annoyed me the whole movie.

Chairs spring back all the way & are so old they probably hold enough dna to identify Jimmy Hoffa as dead in this place. Has a wonderwoman movie sign on building but not playing the movie. Worth the drive to Oshkosh.

Great, locally-owned theater. Updated equipment, kept clean, very fair prices. One thing I love about this theater, you won't be inundated with numerous ads/trailers before your movie starts. You'll see 2 or 3, and then the feature begins. (So be on time!) Always a great experience!

The bathroom stalls are too narrow and had boogers swiped across the stall. Plus, the water pressure from the sink was too powerful. I seen a handicapped woman in a wheelchair get sprayed in the face while washing her hands. Needless to say, I'm really disappointed and grossed out by the lack of cleanliness of the place.

This place is dirty. We had ripped seats and disgusting sticky floors. We sat at the very top row for excellent viewing to only find that the cinder block walls directly behind our heads and copious amounts of gum stuck all over it. I understand things spill at the theater, but my shoes made so much noise each time I had to shift myself into a comfortable position due to the not so comfortable seat. The movie was great, I'll never go to this theater again

Absolute filth! First movie of the DAY and the floors were all sticky with soda on more than one occasion. The chairs are awful. Imagine what it looks like with the lights on. Management thinks this is acceptable? It's an 18 minute drive the Oshkosh Marcus! At least you're in a clean environment.

If I could give this movie theater a zero I would. We came in and got our tickets and went to get snacks. The popcorn thing was broke(they had another one but didn't bother using it) and turned people away. So we got big pretzels and they were hard and so cold. So other people were walking back with their pretzels too because they were so bad. I missed the first 10 min of the movie and we were there thirty min before it started because of the girl not knowing how to heat up a pretzel. They were rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. As we were leaving they had a 2nd popcorn machine working which should have been done in the first place. Seriously don't go here make the trip to Oshkosh. It's a joke here.

Bathrooms had a nasty plumbing back up issue, urine all over the floors. Management was very defensive & flustered when I tried to let them know they needed to do a better job of closing off the effected stalls because children were still using them. I understand they were aware of the issue & I wasn't angry they had a plumbing problem- just wasn't impressed by their efforts to block the area off.

Anyone who gave this place 5 stars is lying. It's a hole and the only reason it's still in business is because it's the only theater in town. I would rather drive to Oshkosh then go to this dump. If you do go here try not to use the bathrooms they are disgusting and none of the door lock. Also don't bother seeing a movie in 3D they have the cheapest set-up so the movies look terrible. The saddest part is the place is locally owned by someone who could afford to renovate but won't. I suggest going else if you want an enjoyable movie going experience.

I was there 3 weeks ago and was double charged for my tickets. The following day I called and talked to a manager. I explained the circumstances of how the guy rang my tickets up and had me slide my card a second time. The manager acknowledged that I was double charged. He took down my name and number then said I would hear from someone in a few day . A week went by and I hadn't heard back so I called again. It took 2 days of calling before I was able to reach a manager. He took down my card number and said he would make it right. Another week goes by without hearing anything so I call again. This time management told me I should pass them by and deal with corporate. I've called 6 times in total and the only person I've talked to that has made me feel like they had any interest in good customer service was the assistant manager. I was double charged for 3 tickets. I would have been satisfied if they gave me 3 tickets for future use or put the money on a gift card instead of a refund. Nobody has made any attempts to resolve this. This was my first time coming here and will definitely be my last. This theater doesn't even compare to the Marcus theater in Oshkosh.

It was a fantastic afternoon I took my oldest grandson to see the Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grindelwald, it was his 15th birthday so it was a good time spend the night with him. The employees were great we played a few of the games before because we got there a little early and a couple of the games the tickets and run out so they suggested we call the company that maintain the machines explain what we could do so we did we left the name at the counter I took a couple of people to find my information but they found it and they had given the tickets to us so my grandson was happy about it he wasn't disappointed even if we want to got the tickets because we were spending the day together, I have spent a lot of my time with him from the day he was born so the times we spent together especially movie times that is his in my thing. Thank you for a great time.

Cinema viewing area obviously had not been cleaned since previous showing. The parking lot is disastrous and dangerous with large potholes that could cause serious injury to a person or vehicle. Movie in which we saw was at the very end of the theater. One of the few movies not aimed at children. Make the older people the farthest from the exit and the restrooms. The seating is totally uncomfortable. I will not be returning. There are just too many negatives about this place.

When the credits are rolling, the staff will start to clean the theaters out, which is fine. They'll stand right next to you to try to make you leave, while talking to each other loudly. I happen to enjoy the music at the end, plus many movies have a clip after the credits roll. Irritating.

The service is superb. The floors were freshly washed. It felt like I was in a five star bathroom, they even had clean hand towels. The consessions were lovely, and I am definatley going back the first chance I get... TO BURN IT DOWN. BECAUSE IT IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. JESUS HAVE MERCY. Thanks.

They need to close and make some major updates. The bathrooms: freezing cold 24/7, the water to wash your hands has got to have bites of ice coming out with it. The floors are always disgusting, the chairs are even more gross and most of them are broke or half broken. Bathrooms don't even look like they get cleaned or attended to at all during business hours. The garbages overflowing, paper towel everywhere. The actual bathroom stalls must be from 1975 and repainted about 5 times with 3 different types of locks installed and your lucky if the current one on there even works. This place itself needs some TLC but apparently buying large , expensive games for the lobby was more of a priority. Today was the first time I've went to this theater in 4 years because I normally take the extra trip to Oshkosh, but since my family was all together today for Christmas traveling out of town wasnt really an option. But next year it will be. Pretty sad that this is the ONLY theater in town, you would think they would take better care of it.

Fond du Lac theatre is nothing special. Avg theatre with fair prices. Would not recommend seeing 3D here. The projector for it is very dark. Other than that the theatre is just fine. Well maintained, clean, and staff is friendly.

Very outdated movie theater, maybe that's a little too shallow of me but the reason for the one star is that it's just a bad movie theater. The volume inside the room was so low I could hear people munching on their popcorn and slurping on their soda! The seats are so short everyone can see you and you can see everyone. I've only been here twice and I'm not coming back again.

This place is the epitome of an interesting color scheme and fake candles. They have exit doors which is lovely because if the place burns down or a dinosaur comes out of the screen, we can safely evacuate! We have gone to the oshkosh movie theater for the past few years since fond du lac’s theater is known for being dirty. Well, not much has changed. The floors are sticky, food on the floor, there’s mud on the back of some of the chairs, and the chairs themselves have years of stains on them. I’m sure they “clean” the place, as some of the reviews say, but not to the extent that the theater needs, honestly. However, the front entrance is nice, the arcade is fun, the menus are now tv screens, and the food is solid. Please, just thoroughly clean the theater area.

This theater was so nice a when it opened over 15+ years ago but is has become run down and management seems to not care. No adult workers to keep things in line so it's run by teenagers. Everything from sticky floors to stained chairs. Restrooms are not inspected regularly and they are almost always out of hand soap and paper towel when I'm needing to dry off my washed hands. The Retlaw was never like this back in the day.. :( My family and I decided to make the trek up to Oshkosh and go to their Marcus Theater for our future movies... So sad.. I always like supporting our local city businesses but in this case I just can't afford it with the cost of movies now a days. :(

Having been to a few dozen theaters I can confidently say this is the worst theater I've seen a movie in. Outdated theaters, stained seating, poor sound and terrible screen brightness. Being the only theater in Fond du lac it seems they've taken up the motto you'll come anyway. I suggest you find a nearby city to watch a movie. The only positive is the staff always is friendly.

Well honestly I have to say that this is my least favorite movie theater yet I keep coming back because of the memories. While many other theaters have upgraded this theater has stayed the same since I was little. Every time I come see a movie here I am just counting down the minutes for the movie to be over. The seats are so uncomfortable. They might as well not have any cushions because they are so worn out that you feel like you are just sitting on the metal, half of them are broken to. The ground is also very sticky and gross most of the time. If they would upgrade the theater the way that other theaters have been doing by putting in recliners and spacing the seats out a little and putting in carpet and making it cleaner this would be my favorite movie theater. Sadly I doubt that will ever happen

This place needs a serious rehab. The seats are disgusting, the bathrooms are awful. It is embarrassing that this is the only theater available in Fond du Lac. It is obvious that the ownership has priorities other than maintaining a decent theater. I NEVER post negative reviews, but this place deserves it. It was so nice when it first opened (yes I am that old) but no one has given a rip about keeping it up.

I saw a movie on Saturday January 12. Very disappointed in how dirty and gross the theater was. The floors in theater 1 were filthy, sticky and full of food. Ladies bathroom was really filthy. Towel and toilet paper dispensers were full of dirt/dust. Walls in some stalls were splattered with God knows what. Mirrors definitely hadn't been cleaned for awhile. Does anyone clean theaters or bathrooms. Amount of dust and dirt are very unhealthy. By the time I left my allergies were in overdrive due to all the dust. Either have your employees clean daily or hire someone to do a deep clean. Current amount of filth, dust and dirt is unhealthy especially to those with health issues. This is the second time in 6 months I've been to this theatre and found it in deplorable condition. I cant patronize your theater until it's been cleaned up.
