Great theater. This place is always clean and well maintained. Staff is always nice as well. We live in EC and love driving up to this location if we want to see something playing on at this location. I know popcorn is low cost but once when we asked for a few small bags to split up our large popcorn the guy filled up the small bags for us anyway with other popcorn. This type of service is unbeatable and is why we keep coming back.

always had good experiences with this theater and staff. Modern (from what I can tell) and clean. We typically go early to beat the crowds and get lower prices. Haven't tried the new "restaurant" yet, but may in the near future. They also have a free membership club you can join that can help get you free stuff. The place is well worth the money.

Good theater. The movie quality is great. Prices are terrific, on tickets and concessions. 50 cent kids movies during the week is such a great feature. And they host a lot of local events. Easter is particularly fun for the family. I'm glad we have it here in town.

Probably the best cinema staff in the Chippewa Valley. We accidentally got Avengers: Endgame tickets for the day after we were supposed to go, but the excellent manager there let us switch to another showing that night literally no questions asked. The rest of the staff there was equally as nice and helpful. The only problem was that the floor of the lobby was littered with popcorn but what do you expect on Avengers opening weekend?

We used to go to Oakwood Mall but after AMC took over we find ourselves driving to Chippewa. The theater is nice, usually pretty packed. The staff are friendly. The prices are not too bad.

Best theater in the Chippewa Valley, Ticket prices are better then in Eau Claire, and all screens are large with stadium seating. Purchase of a reusable popcorn bucket is also a great way to save money for returning movie goers!

I like Micon Cinema. They show great movies and many of the ones other cinemas will not show because of the political subject. I appreciate that they take a good stand and bring these in for the public to see. It's a nice theatre with good snacks and service.

Well I love micon in general, the downtown budget they did an amazing job. We decided to eat here, mainly due to fact cancuns and rumor mill were packed and we were going to see a movie. We ordered nachos, a bacon cheese burger and my daughter had chicken s trips. Burger was ok. 1/5 of the nachos were chewy and kinda hard to chew, however the flavor was good. I tried a tater tot from my daughters, dipped it into the ranch they brought out and u gagged, the ranch was old and spoiled. Unfortunately at that point my 5 year old had eaten a few bites of it. We went to a movie and ended up having to leave early due to my daughter feeling I'll. All in all, we spend $44 om the food and with tickets, drinks and popcorn spent well over $80 and had a very bad time. The guy smelled the ranch, had look of horror on his face and asked if we wanted another (which at that point we didnt have much of an appetite). I have had some good experiences in the past here, unfortunately the taste of the spoiled ranch has prevented me from ever wanting to order food there again. Kicker is, guy serving didnt even apologize for serving rotten food. That is why I a giving it a 3 stars. If you are going to offer food, make sure it is of edible quality. All in all, this was an expensive family night out which ended short, and then had to deal with all the pleasantness of dealing with the mess from a now sick kid. Not happy with the whole experience. May be awhile before I return. The Downtown budget location is superior, however er had never eaten there, we were considering it, but after tonight, may just stick with popcorn and soda. UPDATE: Micon has reached out to me and made steps to make me feel like a valuable customer. Going to 4 stars

Just moved to Chippewa and haven’t made any friends in person yet. However, ran across a great group of people on Facebook that were meeting to see Avengers End Game and invited me join them at Micon. Not realizing there’s more than one Micon location I went to the Chippewa location. When I arrived I realized there’s one in Eau Claire. When I tried to access Facebook to see which location the group was meeting at I couldn’t access the theaters Wi-Fi in the “VIP” lounge. I asked for the Micon guest password and explained the situation and the staff said I had to call them refusing to give me the password” I don’t even remember it” “ the guest is for vendors only!” “ this is a theatre, we don’t want to encourage customers to go online! “ I explained everyone was meeting outside the VIP lounge and I again explained not able to call those I met on FB and I would be flaking on the group and watching alone. The manager shrugged her shoulders and said “ what ev! “ Nothing I can do! “ If you want to be treated like you don’t matter not like a VIP at all definitely go to Micon theater in Chippewa!

Went to see Aladdin for the 9:25 movie... wanted to get some wine beforehand and it took forever..Granted there are more pressing issues for staff than getting my wine, but there was no sign nor communication from staff to let us know there would be a wait. When I finally went out to ask, the girl told me that there was no one to help me. Would have just been nice to be acknowledged. Also, asked for extra extra butter on our popcorn (told the girl we would even pay extra) yet there was still barely any butter. Theater was very clean which I appreciated and although there was lack of communication, the staff were friendly overall.

Prices were fair,popcorn was great and the theater was nice and clean. I especially enjoyed the friendly staff. They went out of their way to help people and be courteous. Not something I'm used to seeing in the average theater. The only minor complaint is the background noise during the movie. I could hear other movies playing faintly through the walls. Other than that I was very pleased. It was a good experience!

We love the remodeled bar area and the great selection of food and drinks now offered. Tap or bottled beer, wines, coolers, cappuccino.....it all goes into a plastic cup with a lid.....but then you can take it with you into the movie. The theaters, lobby, bar and restrooms are always clean and well maintained. Everyone on staff is very friendly and they are in the hallways thanking you when you exit the theater and even hand out mints! Talk about making it a wonderful experience!

Micon Cinemas offers a great movie experience. They have large screens and the sound quality is good. Some of the front row seats make it difficult to see the screen comfortably. The concessions are tasty, but I would get there early if you plan on getting them. I've often had to wait a long time for concessions.
