Food and alcohol service to your seat while you're watching a movie by app. Beautiful fireplace Exquisite clean bathrooms. Not your normal menu options they have a big variety of food and beer and liquor.

The Showboat is gone and this is so much better. Nice and clean. Nice lounge area with full bar, fireplace, a player piano and leather chairs. In the theater they have big reclining chairs.. if you order food, no need to wait because they bring it to your seat.

It's a very clean locality with comfortable recliner seats. We purchased our tickets via Fandango making it easier to skip the long lines (which this place did not have on our Sunday afternoon visit) they have reserved seating. they sell your common theater treats with a variety of popcorn flavors to pick and in addition good items rich as hot dogs and pizza. They also have an area to buy alcohol drinks - which we did not visit. But knowing that they sell alcohol drinks it was a very calm atmosphere.

I was excited when I found out that the old Showboat was going to be updated, redone, and reopened! However the first time I went will be the only time I go. The staff was rude. The environment was stuffy. And the prices were ridiculous. I spent 16 dollars on a $7 popcorn and 2 drinks. $4.50 for a water??? No thank you. I will take my patronage elsewhere.

Me and my family decided to go see a movie at the “Emagine Movie Theatre”, we figured it would be fun so we got there with our tickets and started watching the movie within a minute the fire alarm went off as a false alarm and we were forced outside. Along with being an overall bad experience the food bar was set up in a way that made it very hard to get through quickly. Don’t come here

I really like the company that brought this place and refurbished the whole inside including the theater rooms. They all have comfortable reclining seats. The staff was all really nice and friendly. What I think I liked the most was that I ordered food and they brought it to me at my seat! Absolute fantastic customer service! The price wasn't bad either. $21 for food and movie ticket. You can't get dinner and a movie for that price anymore. All in all a good experience. I know I will be coming back.

The Lake Geneva WI Theater is Wonderful. I drive up from Rockford IL, to see movies there. Excellent Seating, Very Clean Facility & Friendly Staff. All for the same price you would pay at a much Lower Quality Movie Theater.

High quality theater. I haven't been in here since the remodel, and I'm really impressed. Recliner chairs are clean and comfortable, and it seems the front row has more of a lay down bed type chairs. They we're all booked up when I came, but I'll try them next time. It seems all seat rows have a lot of legroom, which at 6'6" I really appreciate. There's also a bar, and a lot of classy decorating around the building. I'll be coming back.

The seating is ok. A lot of hoopla about it I think, but whatever. Ample seating and a lot of snack choices . Ordered the taco seasoned beef nachos, it left something to be desired . They ran out of beef so chicken it was , but nothing made those nachos come alive. Oh well.....very nice surroundings though.

This theater was recently remodeled and reopened. I am extremely impressed with the outcome! The theater in general is amazing. It has a lounge and bar area when you walk in as well as a great concession stands that will deliver to your seats. 4 types of popcorn to your liking. The theater themselves have outstanding sound and reclining luxury seating! I'll be back!

I was surprised by the big difference between showboat, which is what this theater used to be, and emagine. Where showboat was big and plain and full of arcade games, this theater feels small and cozy. A piano that plays itself, a fireplace with comfortable furniture in a lounge area, and every part of it feels elegant. That being said, it is still a movie theater. Lines for concessions, overpriced food and drink, the quality of which is the same as any other theater. Getting tickets for more than one person requires either planning or luck, as the seating is assigned like the big marcus theaters to the east. Complete with seats thst recline and twice as much space between rows as needed, which is nice in a first class airplane seating kind of way. I can only speak for theater #2, but it is reasonable to assume that all theaters here have speakers about 10 feet high and five feet from each other all the way across the room. Thankfully it is only too loud during the previews and improves sound quality, at least from my one experience. Overall, it is a significant improvement over what the theater used to be before nature decided it was fed up with showboat. If you can't see a movie at plaza 4 or geneva theater, seeing it here would be a good second choice. (Note: My opinion may be slightly biased as me and my family are good old friends with the owner of plaza 4 and geneva theater. So keep that in mind with this review.)

Definitely a cut above your standard cinema. Especially great when my darling son treats me to one of his favorite spots. A perfect addition to Lake Geneva.

Since the new management and remodel, this is a very higher end type theater. A lot like iPic in the Chicago area. Adult drinks, fireplace, piano music, minus pool tables. Since this is a smaller place be sure to reserve your ticket.

This place has absolutely turned a 180 to what it once was, but it still has work to do. First off, the staff is extremely young. They do not seem like they understand the role of hospitality, if this is a luxury movie theater, your very first impression should be sweeping you off your feet. Instead you are met with very uninspired, and timid associates. Secondly, the guests absolutely have no regard for which seat they purchased, there is no enforcing of this. We went to our seats and they were taken by other guests. When we confronted them about this, showing them our tickets, they were uncaring and almost didn't give us our rightful seats because they didn't care. And our friends came in to try to claim their seats, and they were taken wrongfully. The guests even became combative when confronted about this. All in all this is a major upgrade from how the theater used to be, it's very classy and welcoming. The seats are luxury and the space is very open. The concessions are standard but the options are abundant. My hope is that with experience and time this place can really take off and become a successful theater in the area.

Where did the arcade games go?? I'm surprised theres not many reviews about that! I used to love coming to the theater and playing ski ball! Same with a bunch of other children, wanting to play the arcade games. Now it is all gone and they replaced it with a bunch of couches and a Piano... not exciting. Seems like it transformed from an exciting, kid friendly theater with games, to an adult only theater... dont get me wrong the theater is gorgeous and clean! But they took away all the fun from the kids! (Besides the movies.)

Nice cozy theater. We went off time so it was pretty much a ghost town. Staff were very courteous. Popcorn may have been a tad old. Theater has reserved seating but there was a couple who apparently either can’t count or didn’t know the alphabet. We didn’t make a stink about it since there were plenty of open seats. Prices were low so we may end up going back.

Con: Throughout our movie many complaints were made to management regarding marijuana smells in the theater. One of my children's friends said it made her feel ill and we both had to walk out twice. I had observed a manager walk in and stand briefly in the back then leave. After the movie concluded, I approached the manager and raised the question, "what is your protocol for drug use in the theater?" He stared blankly at me, apparently befuddled, and blinking, before replying that he had none. He explained that, during the movie, he had observed no one smoking, therefore there was nothing he could do. I explained that he could have called the police, but he insisted that he could not. I also explained that it was a crime, therefore you can, in fact, call the police. He sat staring dimly, so I gave up. He was lucky I spoke with him instead of the other woman who had two children younger than mine. She said she could not have been so "calm and diplomatic" because she was irate! Pro: Aside from that, the theater is lovely. The recliners are comfortable, the screens and audio are quality, the food is decent and brought to your seat hot. * Please, simply get a plan in place, or I will be forced to call the police before talking to management and my review will remain the same.

First time ive been there was last night. Date night my partner owed me. We got the cuddle chairs for a great price. Not that expensive. But we didnt buy the food. It looked pretty expensive. I mean gummy worms and a large drink cost us 11$... Why?!?!?. The remodeled movie theater put in some great work. Makes you feel like your the guest. The seats are comfy but not that comfy. I didnt get to try the recyiners but im guessing they too were amazing while people fell asleep in theirs. The cuddle chairs kinda hurt my neck a bit and i ended up slouching a bit more into my chair to get comfortable. Cuddle chairs 4/5. Sitting jn the front row you get to see some amazing detail. It honestly feels like its jumping out infront of you without 3D. Great sound. I highly recommend going. First time? Have a date? Go see a movie here. Bring a blanket. Maybe take a nap.. Dont snore. Will be probably shove popcorn into you if you do.

Absolutely love this movie theater. All remodeled plenty of additions. They actually took all old seats out and put less seats in to accommodate for brand new power reclining seats that see much bigger and much more comfortable than traditional seating and they also have little cuddle couches in the very from rows with ottomans and they are set back far enough away from the big new screens that you don't have to crank tour neck up all night. Awesome place

I love this place!! Their matinee is the most reasonable I've seen as far as price and time constraints, the popcorn is the best (even without extra buttet or salt), and that wonderful SODA STATION! The seats are comfy with no neck cramps. It's a real treat to have them in our area!!! Hooray!

The complete makeover of this theater is pretty spectacular. They attended to every detail and created a comfortable and enjoyable environment for watching a movie or hanging out in the lounge. Ticket prices are low. Food and drink is a little high priced, but quality stuff. Just a note: the reviews from 2017 and older no longer apply. New ownership, and an absolutely total makeover.

FANTASTIC THEATER! I only gave it a 4 ONLY because it was a little messy and the set up for their computers and registers were a disaster! WHO set them up anyway?! AND...... only ONE drink station? Rediculous! They need two for sure! Just a few problems with the set-up of some things. The rest was great! We took our Grandaughter Makaela to see DUMBO! It was just so great and even though we cried for part of it it was still FANTASTIC! My daughter Sarah and I took her and it was a great and happy time for the three of us for sure! The rest of the theater is GORGEOUS though! Our favorite theaters are Majestic in Brookfield and the Portage Theater in Portage! That theater is SPOTLESS! They do a great job!!!! We all love going to the show when we're staying down here at our other house here.

If you’re visiting Lake Geneva you absolutely should treat yourself to a movie at this theatre. It truly is a first class experience. The reclining chairs are so comfortable you could fall asleep. The employees are incredibly friendly and accommodating and their positive attitudes make for a very warm environment. The food was amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bacon Jalapeño Chicken quesadilla. The bacon was clearly fresh and cooked to order. The cheese was nothing less than I’d expect top quality Wisconsin cheese to be - and I swear they have a garden somewhere because the jalapeños were beyond fresh. I have never experienced another theatre like this and I have been to many all over the country. I’m high maintenance so I am always looking for the swankiest of experiences anywhere that I go. You will love this place!!

Nice little theater for a part of the state where most people would usually have to travel a lot farther to see a film. Nicely remodeled inside. I do have a couple of minor complaints. 1. Far as I could tell, theaters lacked an indication of what film was playing in that theater. They were numbered, and your ticket likely indicates which number you should go to, but I always like walking down the hall and seeing which film is playing in which theater. 2. Sound-proofing may need a bit of work. We saw a pretty bad movie that was mostly quiet, but had some loud parts. But the entire time you could hear the booms and explosions of the film next door. 3. This is an odd one, but throughout the runtime of our film the projector seemed to be flickering a bit. The brightness of even a single shot would change frequently in a matter of seconds. Really odd.

Just went lastnight to see Bohemian Rhapsody having never been there. It was clean and beautiful with great staff. A fireplace, bar, tons of hot food and concessions. They even have a pizza oven and reclining chairs. Great sound, nice bathrooms...for the experience the price is fair. Will be back!

First time going to Emagine was a great experience. I bought tickets through the Atom app so i did not have to go on the box office line. As soon as you walk in, you can see that it's a 5 star theater. There is also a fireplace by the bar. I also loved that the concession line went fast. But really, my favorie part of the whole experience was the recliner chairs! They were so comfortable. 5 stars!

So I purchased tickets online and show up assuming they take Apple Pay/Samsung Pay like any other modern point of sale system supports these days. After speaking with guest services and them literally not giving a damn, I'll watch The Grinch because I already paid, but I'll never come back. I'll keep going to Marcus. These people do not care about the guest experience. Wish zero stars was an option.

This is the best movie experience I have ever had! The seats are amazingly comfortable! It brings the intimacy of your living room to the big screen! The picture is crisp and clear. The best that you could hope for your viewing pleasure! The sound is in your face high quality definition! You can feel the action in your seat! The one down side I have is the price of concessions. While the ticket prices are great, between $6 and $10, a large popcorn and soda will set you back $15! They do have a slushie machine that I make sure I get my share of free refills on to make up for it though!

Everything makes it special ..the ambiance, the way the employees treat you, and the best popcorn and butter I've ever had, seriously. Especially awesome is captioned movies for their deaf clientele (school for the deaf is nearby.)

Went and saw Joker today. Walked in, and it is an absolutely gorgeous, pristine building. Initial first impressions were good. I went to gain admission with a pre-purchased ticket. They looked at it and said I'm good to go. Little to no direction as to where to go. The staff didn't provide much info. Still confused, I looked at my self-printed ticket. There is a small text in parenthesis not very noticeable "Seating 06" or something. I no longer have the ticket for reference. Okay. I look for "06". I see "E6" and guess that is it. No other indication outside ANY room number of which room had what movie playing. My guess was right, luckily. The leather chairs are very comfortable but they squeak loudly due to the leather. Kind of distracting during quiet parts, but I can get over that. The picture was cropped the ENTIRE time, which means certain details of the movie were flat out cut off to us, which is very frustrating. The audio was fantastic, however. Overall it has the looks but functionally it has many issues, or at least had them when I was there. Hopefully it's still living and learning and will improve in time. I wish them luck but I will not be returning, unfortunately. Joker was great, by the way.

Beautiful remodel of this older theater. Customer service could be improved a bit. Just hoping they're working out the bugs.

We really like the remodeled place. The bathrooms are nice, but I could do without the poopy well water smell. The recliners are nicer than old school seats, but more like a hospital waiting area than a couch. The catcher is the visual upon entering the facility. It appears fancy. With the bar and sitting area and fireplace. But, I go to watch a movie, not hangout at their bar. Still, they have done a pretty good job. The staff is nice when there's interaction. The prices were great. But they must have discovered this, because they raised them already. From $5 matinee to $7.49. Pretty big jump. It's only a dollar cheaper than the super fancy, more comfy theater a bit further away. The website is annoying to navigate. Prolly goin back to the other chain since the price jump tho

Beautiful lobby. Great variety of concessions (including alcohol). Comfortable recliners in the theaters. What more could a moviegoer ask for?

First time there and i was extremely impressed. Loved the recliners, I loved the reserved seating online, and I love the fact that we could get a drink from the bar and take it into the show with us. However the drinks were very expensive but it lasted us the whole show. I recommend highly!!!!!

Great movie theater, prices for food is a bit too much like most movie theaters. Staff is rude at times and have poor customer service. I had some lady with glasses that looked mean to begin with tell me that I had to show my school ID before paying when I showed it once I started paying. Calm down lady. Just relax it's my first time here.

Wow! I can't believe this used to be the Showboat. Completely gutted and rebuilt with modem recliners, stadium seating, delicious concessions and even a bar. A great improvement. I'll be back again soon.

Great Luxury Theater. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is you are not allowed to bring in reusable water bottle even if it is clear. I have never had a problem at any other theater with my glass water bottle.

We wanted to take a break from the waterpark and decided on a whim to see a movie at Emagine theater. Having never been here before we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the theater and found the leather recliner seats were like new and very comfortable. We didn’t get anything from the bar or food counter, but we would next time. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Favorite theater. This time however there were only a few employees working so you got your tickets and food at the concessions counter which I don’t prefer. However it was a week day and weekdays are usually slower. Overall as usual, we had a very pleasant experience.

Very nice, love the seats. Don't love the cost. $11.00 for 1 box of candy and a soda. It wasn't too bad for a matinee, only $12.00 for 2. But the rest is ridiculous.

Theatre is extremely clean, and well kempt. Have been here multiple times most recently for Endgame and despite the heavy traffic, the staff was able to fulfill any and all needs and inquires from their guests. The theatre is available on Atom and Fandango for getting tickets ahead of time. I will note that I have not tried to order snacks ahead of time on Atom here as of yet. The screens themselves are just as good as any standard AMC or Marcus Cinema screen. And the seats are fantastic, and I have seen employees go through and wipe down any seat they deem to need such a service.

This is so much better than the Showboat that was here. Great prices and a variety of food choices to choose from. The seating is great and it is great that you can choose your seating. I reccommand anyone to go here and experience this.

Great theater! Loved the high-quality reclining seating and was very impressed by the affordable pricing! Went to a 10pm Sunday showing of Avengers: Endgame the weekend after it started and it only cost $12.50 for two tickets! I know it was probably because of the weird time; but they could have charged that per ticket with how popular that movie was. Also, theater screen was very large and place was VERY clean!

Clean and comfortable seating. They had a nice space to relax and enjoy cocktails by the fireplace. Food options appeared to be diverse enough to please all. A variety of popcorn options. Noticed a sign that blankets can be purchased as well. Sound quality in theater was ok.

Well, theatres are commodities these days. What separates one from another are the amenities/refreshments...comfort as an example (this was taken care of with {clean washrooms, beautiful lobby, wonderful seating}). However, a theatre should [never], ever, serve cold popcorn or sell expired candy...I received both and for me that's a deal breaker.

They tore down the old show boat theater, or completely redid the interior and exterior, I'm not sure which but it was for the best. I love going here for movies, the prices are very reasonable, and the rewards program is excellent
