This would be a nicer place if they would clean and keep up with cleaning. The dust in the bathrooms is so loaded looked like a fuzzy felt fabric on every thing. The seats are nasty, the arm rests are loaded in grime. The walls have small tears in them. During the movie when no one was in the lobby the staff stood around talking while popcorn lay all over the floor, counters had soda spilt, food all over the floors behind the counter. Just disgusting. Won't be back till it's managed properly.

It's a classic theater, nice seats but probably no recliners. Which is not a huge deal. The staff were friendly (one guy was cute!) although some rude person had bought 13 of the dollar dogs leaving none for the rest of us! :)

It was okay. I may be spoiled by the Marcus Theater in Madison, but the theater seating here was not all that comfortable and not spaced well. Kept constantly getting my seat kicked because of the lack of leg room.

It's a really nice theater that is often overlooked. If you go watch a movie in 3d, there is a good chance no one will be in the theater with you. Which is just awesome haha

Decent theater. Relatively low attendance, even for big movies - you can pretty much always get in. Decent concessions, except that they don't have cotton candy. I'd give them 5 stars, but they don't allow concealed carry, so we only go here when we have no other options.

Actually love this facility. Very comfy seats. Very nice clean lobby and restrooms-which is a big deal. BUT if you're gonna have hotdogs and you have a huge movie like CAPTAIN AMERICA have a bunch of hot dogs ready. Fill the case and lower the price by at least a buck and YOU WILL sell them all. I know. I've been in food service. If you make them they will sell.

The theater itself and its prices are just fine, but today (12/25/2018) we were held hostage by 25 minutes of previews before the film began! When the last preview ended I yelled, "Hallelujah," and the other members of the audience burst into laughter. Obviously, they were fed up with it, too. Preview times should be included with/in the length of the feature.

With the new lower prices this is now a much better family value. The theater is clean and well maintained. Picture and sound quality are top notch as well. The only negative is that the ticket and concession lines get bogged down easily and can take quite some time to get through.

Family friendly theater. Bathrooms were close to theaters. Ushers were polite and helpful. The concession stand customer service representative promoted a delicious deal: Small popcorn and small icee for $5! My nieces were delighted to get both tasty treats. The seats were comfortable and the theater and bathrooms were clean. We had a great time!

A good place to go for a movie. Was able to buy tickets online last minute without a problem for Avengers Endgame. Prices could be cheaper though.

Go here all the time with the family and it's fine. Staff is as friendly as anyplace manned by a bunch of teenagers would be, some are fine and some are useless. If you're a "stubs" member the value is decent. Sound and Picture are on par with anyplace else (no IMAX though). Seating is very well spaced and comfortable, temperature control is good. Plenty of restrooms throughout that if you have to interrupt your movie you aren't walking to and from for 10 minutes.

Always Great, We are a family of moviegoers that go to the movies at least once a montn, we go to different theaters and without a doubt the Johnson Creek AMC is our favorite. Here is why: - You can find good seats - Theater is always clean, especially the bathrooms - Never struggle to find a parking spot - Staff is very pleasant and helpful - The AMC regards program credits you ten dollars at sign-up - AMC website is easy to use and so is picking up on line tickets Downsides - Have to drive to Johnson - No recinable loungers - Coke products

The AMC classic in Johnson Creek is a traditional or legacy theater. Likely has to do with why classic is in their name. Still, the staff are friendly the theater is relatively inexpensive and the individual theaters and screens are all well kept.

the prices have always been high here. but just had worst exsperience ever. co2 alarm went off we were evacuated and let back in. after sitting down again staff came in told us they want us in lobby. go to lobby and thr manager yells at us for being in the building. absoulty no communication between staff, manager, or fire department. we better get a refund for how rude the manager was during this emergency. she snapped and yelled at us for following her staffs directions. get your emergency plans straight and dont change your mind and than yell at the already frustrated coustomers for following your staffs directions.

This movie theater employees lock the front doors when there are evening movie showings about 10 mintutes before the last show starts, and will REFUSE TO LET CUSTOMERS IN!!!!! Standing outside the theater with 10 minutes before the show starts! This has happened on multiple different occasions to several different people. We will not be patronizing this theater any longer and will take our business elsewhere. Unreal that paying customers are turned away for a movie and the front doors are locked before the movie is playing! We will drive to a different town from now on!!!!

Always a nice place to catch a show. Popcorn is fresh, theatres are clean, staff is friendly and fast. The one complaint I do have is the soda dispensers...its very cool there are so many choices....but with so many choices and only 2 dispensers there is always a very long line while people try to make up their mind what crazy drink they want this time. My advice, just because your show is to the left, check out the soda dispenser to the right, there might not be as long a line :-). Enjoy the show!

Great if you just want to see a movie and aren't crazy about having to have recliners. They do have stadium seating. Not sure how they stay in business though. At my last visit I was literally the only person in the audience for my showing.

Saw a 3D movie, was everything that I expected and at the reasonable price of 9.99 a ticket for adults at night. Smaller sized theaters, I expected a bigger screen for a 3D movie, but still ok. The floors were nice and clean, not sticky at all, very well maintained. I ordered my tickets online, and it was very easy to use the kiosk to print my tickets without standing in a line.

Bought the tickets online so super easy entering but note you need to provide the card you purchased them with to redeem. Snack counter was busy and staff was not helpful and my granddaughter noted how messy it was behind the counter. Also many odd odors in the building but otherwise experience was fine. Loved the Grinch!

This is a high quality place. I have seen many movies here, and every experience has been great. They are also really friendly. We got to a movie too late and had to go to the 3D version, but my husband cannot see in 3D, so they just charged him for the regular version, which I thought was very nice of them.

This is the place to go in the Watertown/Johnson Creek area. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for when you go to the movies. Also someone named Bill works here and he is amazing. So friendly and helpful. Such a great guy!

Went to see “Ready or Not” with the wife and we had a great experience. The highlight of our trip was actually the exceptional counter service by Abbie D, like blow our minds great! Popcorn, nachos and a slushy and she offered butter and salt multiple times while filling popcorn bag (without our asking), was sociable and seemed genuinely interested in our movie choice for us and told us she hoped we liked it. This may sound sarcastic, but it’s a genuine review; this always concierge level service by counter staff. We felt comfortable almost like we were at home and were welcomed back to watch another scary movie suggested for our next trip. Also, the comfort seats at the theatre are great, even with a bad back. The picture and sound quality were great, too. I’m usually complainy about ticket and food prices, but tonight two of us spend $50 on dinner (snacks) and a movie and I would have paid more. Freakin’ awesome experience! Hope they keep hiring staff like Abbie D!

Love taking the family to this theater. It isn't nearly as busy as the Madison and Sun Prairie theaters. Shows before 4pm are usually just $5. The lines at concessions can get pretty long, but they usually move at a good pace. The seats don't recline like the Marcus theaters and shows often don't start until 15-20 mins after their scheduled start due to previews and ads (pretty typical for most theaters). My biggest pet peeve is that you don't really know what type of theater your movie will be in. Was pretty disappointed when I went to watch Solo and it was in a tiny theater with a 1/2 size screen and weak audio. Have learned that you have to watch movies within the first couple weeks of release to avoid that issue.

I went to this theater for an afternoon showing of a movie that was released the night before. I felt it was clean, quiet, and properly staffed. Prices for tickets were decent. Ordering tickets online ahead of time adds $7 if you are not part of their movie membership club thing. I would still recommend this theater for an afternoon showing but take my chances paying at the door.

This theater is a BILLION times better than it used to be. They have done a lot of updates recently and you now fill your drink yourself and take care of your own popcorn. The theater seating is still the same and it isn't as good as the reclining movie theaters but it's better than a lot of other movie theater seating!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep up on cleaning, the bathrooms are always cleaned and stocked with toilet paper and paper towel. The food area is always clean and neat. The popcorn taste good and the other snacks as well. It's nice going when they are not busy, like having the theater all to ourselves. The seats are comfortable and the theater itself is cleaner than other ones we have been too. Nice having this close in town and I don't mind paying the prices to stay closer to home. This location is managed well and run well. We will keep coming back.

This is again a terrible cinema experience. Date night almost turned into a solo night. You can buy tickets in advance online, but there are no assigned seats. If you want to see a popular movie, get there well in advance!!! What's the point of buying tickets online if it's not to secure your seat assignments? We were informed it was sold out after we arrived. We were told we probably wouldn't be able to sit together. We wanted to check to see if there were any seats together. We were then informed that we had one minute to decide if we wanted a refund. Terrible customer service, and we were barely in the building. If you're looking for the whole Cinema experience, you will be disappointed. While the screens are nice and the seats adequate, the concessions are disappointing. We were greeted warmly and politely taken care of; however, when an issue arose and staff was approached, the issue was disrespectfully disregarded. Due to it's convenient location, I will probably be back, but I'll skip the concessions.

I am well over the age of 18 and was told that if I didnt show an ID I wouldn't be able to view a rated R movie. Was really upset, I drove so I did have my license however my fiance didnt, so it was an hassle to get let in. Seems a bit ridiculous to refuse me to see a movie. I know I can look young but I def look older than 18. The guy working the food station was awesome and made the experience better. Previews were long and even repeated themselves.

The tall, conversational guy at the concession stand needs a raise. I've had two great customer service experiences with him when I was in town visiting family - December 2017 - I had bronchitis, so I ordered a tea (who buys that at a movie theater?). Hearing my raspy voice, he took pity on me and gave me a free upgrade. December 2018 - My wife and I were buying popcorn and soda, he was quick to point out the special AMC was running to save us a couple bucks. I feel bad that I can't remember his name. Regardless, he's a key element to the movie-going experience.

AMC must be promoting weight loss, because we watched cold pursuit and the temp in there was at least 80 dagrees. Real nice , spend 50.00 with there outrageous popcorn and 2 drinks for 21.00 and sweat my but off. Somebody wasn't doing there job. Next time I will consider the movie theater in sun prairie.
