I really enjoy this theater. While it's a smaller theater that doesn't have a lot of amenities offered by larger chains, I have always enjoyed the staff and environment here. It is a nice, clean business and I have never had a bad experience. My only complain is how quickly they turn on the lights during the credits; sometimes the end credit scenes in Marvel movies get washed out because they turn the lights up.

The new staff they have here is RUDE AS HELL!! They came into the theater on April 26, 2019 after the 4pm showing and yelled to people that there was no ending scene and that everyone was supposed to leave now! They even started cleaning up right under people's feet! Not likely to go back there with such a rude staff! If I pay to watch the movie that means I can watch it all-even credits!

Great local theater. Can't beat their ticket and concession prices. Always enjoyed the variety of movies and how clean the lobby and theaters. Always preferred this theater over some others up in the Fairmont and Bridgeport area.

Upshur Cinema 6 / Upshur Village Cinemas is a clean theater located by the car dealerships on Brushy Fork Road. I worked there years ago, and it seems to be well-run today. The staff went through the line of customers fairly quickly without any apparent errors and the manager helped them fill popcorn orders to keep the pace up. Great job!

We, my son and me, came to watch Despicable Me 3 with my good friend and her grandson. We were the only 4 in the theater, and the boys laughed soooooo much, as did my friend and I. This, by far, is the BEST Despicable Me movie yet! It was soooooo funny!

Kong Skull Island: saw two weekends ago and this is the 3rd time manager of the theater cut the film before the ending post scenes play. When my husband and I went up front and asked them why they cut the movie before the post scenes, he said there was nobody in the theater. The two of us were sitting there because a friend told us of the post scene so we were waiting to see that scene. Manager replied well I didn't see you in there, what do you want me to do about it! Very poor attitude, he was fresh to us, and then threw it in there face that they had complained two other times about ending the movie before it was over! While we were sitting there the cleaning crew came in and they turned the lights up. After the cleaning crew left the guy that had sat next to me had left a bottle of soda on the floor and I picked it up to throw it in the trash for them. I forgot to throw it in the trash and I still had it in my hand when I was talking to the manager. He said you're lucky I even let you in the theater, you're not supposed to bring in to the theater. He didn't even let me explain it wasn't mine to begin with. RUDE RUDE RUDE I fee very uncomfortable going back to that theater with that guy running the place.

The staff is very friendly. But the theaters need cleaned up better. Me and my family went tonight and there was a very bad smell and the floor up at the top had butter spilled over over it and you just slipped when you tried to walk.

After the clerk got my order wrong 4 times, I told the clerk to "Get your act together" followed by a manager who ran after my family and informed me that I had to leave due to "Raising my voice" at the clerk. I never did raise my voice, did not cuss the employee or was overly rude to that employee. Customer service should be so much higher due to charging three times the amount for food and drinks. You should be treated with respect, not threatened. I am forever banned, and currently looking for a phone number for corporate to complain.
