This theater has some really nice recliner seating. The recliners are new, comfortable, and clean. The movie prices are great for recliner seating. There is plenty of parking. The theater is connected to the mall, so you have the food court and stores if you have free time to burn. The only negative is the bathrooms could use some work. Overall, the best theater in the area.

This has got to be the nicest movie theater I have ever been to. Power leather recliners with foot rest. It was the first theater I did not sweat to death in either. I was the only 1 in the whole auditorium during the 330 movie lol but it was still the best sounding, most comfortable (seats and temp) theater. It was only $7.25 kinda high I thought till I sat in the seats. Well worth the money.

It is a great movie theater with reclining seats. It is expensive. I wish it was possible to recline the back without fully extending the feet. The only other option is to sit perfectly straight up which is uncomfortable. I didnt like the assigned seating either. I like to choose my seats at the theater. I will go again, it is overall a really nice theater.

This theater was everything you expect to get at a theater. Good picture quality, good sound system and ample snack sizes. But what set this one apart from the norm was the seats. Wide, comfortable with large cup holders and on top of all that...they reclined! Easily, this place makes my top three movie theaters of all time

This theater is the worse. I’ve never encountered a theater that take as long as this one in the food lines. It’s unbelievable. Definitely worth the drive to Marietta or Athens for a better atmosphere and cheaper experience

The lady beside us was on her phone the entire time, and her son had the rest of the chairs in the row reclined and was jumping from chair to chair, made for a very aggravating experience. We were in Row E, seats 1, 2 and 3. They were in seat 5 and 6.

This theater went through a major overhaul. The seating is vert comfortable and the theater itself is kept clean. My son and I like being able to pick our seats out in advance so that we don't have to worry about what seats are available when we get there to see the movie.

I've only been here twice and loved it both times. The theaters are clean and comfy with reclining seats. Temperatures are controlled well. Large drinks are huge and can be shared. Staff are friendly, helpful, and do a great job.

It took us 25 or so minutes just to get a drink and popcorn.. we missed the previews and the first 10 minutes of the movie. Get there very early if you don't want to miss that..

This place went through a major makeover. It went from being the place I would avoid to the place I want to be! The new theater renovations make going to this theater an experience I look forward to when my favorite movies come out. I highly recommend anyone who has not been here post-renovation to do so and I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have had multiple issues with accessibility at this location. First was with the Closed Caption system not working and then with a screening being in 3D when we needed standard because of vision impairment. Staff was willing to assist but did not have the tools or authority to help. Tickets are affordable and the seating is nice but be aware you may have issues if you have a disabled person with you

Went to a 1230 movie, sat there for 30 minutes with nothing playing and no word on when it would be on. Finally here they can't play the movie, cool I get it things happen. Go wait in line to get some ticket vouchers, cool no problem. Ask the lady about getting a voucher or refund for the concessions I spent $20 on that I would never have purchased if I knew I wasn't watching a movie. She looks at me like I'm crazy and tells me to ask for a manager at concessions. Go up there and the young ladies call for the manager. They are nice and apologize saying one is trying to get the movies working and other is handing out vouchers. Great no problem I get it. After about 10 minutes the same lady who gave me the voucher comes and tells them to take my food back and give me a refund. So the lady who gave me the voucher was also the manager I needed to talk to??? She didn't apologize once or even offer any way to fix my problem, I would've taken a voucher for half he amount even if they had just asked or tried to show some type of caring? Beautiful theater but poor management.

Regal Cinemas Grand Central Mall is much better now since they completely overhauled reach theater. The floors aren't as sticky from spilled soda as they used to be. One of the only issues that I have is the god awful bright lighting in each theater. They do not dim them during the movie. I have attached a photo from one of the larger theaters taken just after a movie ended. As you can see, the green exit signs are very bright. No one can possibly miss where the door is now. Green and blue are very harsh colors with high glare effects. Red is a much better color in a dark theater, but it would be SOOO much better. There is an exit sign in the front directly next to the screen facing the audience and one in the back. These green lights, along with the floor down lighting, make it difficult to focus on the movie, especially if you are sensitive to glare. In the smaller theater tonight, I tried to hold up a card to block the light from the exit sign, but the lights from the back of the theater shone off of the back of the card. I couldn't win. On a good note, the seats are fairly comfortable and do not squeak. If you are on the short side, you might want to bring something to make the seat more comfortable to recline in. They are made for taller people in mind, like my husband, who loves them. Also, the sound is quite good and the bathrooms are usually clean. The employees are very helpful and the management is quick to check out an issue when it is brought to their attention.

I have to give this an over all 3 because the quality of the screen was very poor. I saw Downton Abbey and it was tinted pink and dark. Very disappointing. 1 * for the showing. On the flip side the lounge chairs are extremely comfortable and good air conditioning, so a 5 * rating on that.

Being able to hear the movie next door is not a good thing. It definitely feels like a theater that was remodeled from something like 6-8 theaters to 12. Some rooms have the brightly lit exit sign so close to the screen it's practically on the screen. Some if the rooms have audio issues, or maybe they are trying to compensate for the audio bleed through by raising the volume on one side. The only reason it gets 3 stars is the power reclining seats, stadium seating and a friendly staff. Otherwise a 2.

Took the kids to see The Grinch 3D. The service was friendly, the seats rock( not literally, but the do recline!), and the movie was cute. The 3D, however, was atrocious. I don't know whether it was the movie or the glasses. But it was not good. Paid the extra for it, but all three of us watched the entire movie without our glasses. Some parts were a tad blurry without the glasses, but with the glasses the only colors you could see were green and red. We'll be sticking with Odyssey in Marietta.

Being the only theater in parkersburg and generally the area (I think the next closest one is in Athens) there aren't many options. Though not to say it's a bad theater as it has been greatly improved since the last time I was there and with some really nice chairs, although I feel the food is a bit steep still, but it probably is in about all theatres. Ticket prices aren't too hateful either. I would really recommend eating before coming to watch.

Saw the new Hellboy. It was ok I guess. But regal was clean and friendly as always. Edit: lost some stars today because this psycho woman freaked out cause we counted the seats wrong. And instead of asking us to move or whatever she ran out to get an employee that was rude and unclear in what he wanted from us. So yes I got a little heated because three people were standing in front of myself and my family blocking the movie we paid to see while not addressing the situation. Then the employee has the nerve to call me on what I said and call me rude and disrespectful. When he obviously wasn't clear on how to do his job. Point is a small mistake in seating numbers wasn't worth the rude action displayed by staff.

Theater was very trashy. Went to sit down and the chair was covered with popcorn, candy, and spilled drinks. I went out to say something to staff and he pointed and said there are napkins there if I wanted them! It should be reflected in the price of the ticket if they expect customers to clean their own seats before using.

I wasn't going to do this review, but felt I had too due all the bad reviews. Last month was the first time my wife and went to this theater since they remodeled. We haven't been here in easily over 5+ years. Marietta was our go to theater. I have to say they took a step forward remodeling! The seats are lazy boys and the hard wood flooring makes you feel right at home. I did notice the offset from the 2 times we were there with the surround sound, but honestly I'm okay with it. We sitting closer to the middle leading to the back bc if you don't it's to loud. At least this way you know where to sit volume wise. Can't really complain about the seating system to bypass that you can do the manuel ticket system at the entrance of the theater. It let's you pick where you want to sit and pay for your tickets. Overall, a very good upgrade! Good job Regal Cinemas!

This theater has upped it's game! I've been coming here since I was a child but they recently updated everything. We were able to skip the line and buy our tickets through the machine(gift cards or debit/credit cards) no cash. You can use your app club card with the machine also. So nice! Everything was so clean on the way to our auditorium. The auditorium was amazing. Recliners replaced the old seats and it made it so much easier for the kids. My husband actually sat through an entire movie! It was a wondeful experience. We will definitely be going to the movies more often.

The reclining seats are not worth the things you lose. Sorry I like to pick my own seat thanks. Also what happened to the surround sound? The sound is not nearly as good used to be. Some may also want to clean the theater before the next movie it was really dirty.

Very comfortable seating, full recline with foot rest, wow-see pics! The stairs to the theatres & the uncleanliness of the restrooms removes 2 stars. There is a ramp for wheelchairs but for the ambulatory disabled neither set-up is desirable.

The choices of movies are numerous and the new recliner seats are so comfortable. The new Regal $18.00 per month deal is amazing and so easy to use..but the best part of our local movie theater is the staff they are helpful.the staff are the stars of our local movie theater.

Going to the movies is expensive, but the reclining chairs make you feel like it's worth paying more. Super comfy. Get the Regal app and start an account. You build up points pretty quick for movie tickets, free or reduced price food, and special items. It's a great way to offset the cost of admission.

I didn't go there to go shopping although they do have all of the well-known chain department stores. I went to the Regal Cinema to catch a movie. While you're there you can grab a meal before or after the movie because it adjoins the Food Court. Pizza, burgers, Asian, cookies and ice cream it's all right there. Eat before you go into the theater their drink, popcorn and snack prices are outrageous. The inside of the theater is super nice. The aisles between the seats are really wide and the seats themselves are electrically controlled recliners that have thick soft cushioning. it's easy enough to fall asleep pretty sure I dozed for a couple minutes.You can literally lay back while you watch the movie. Audio and video quality our top of the line and the day I was there they had nine of the most current movies showing. Hands down this is the best theater I've ever been to! ❤️❤️❤️

Comfortable reclined seating with more leg room than many theaters considered upscale. wasn't always this way but recent renovations which did not include an elevation of consumer cost took this from one of the more aged and overpriced to possibly the top of the best list. Prices still high but I have seen higher for less as well. The real drawback is cost of food if you want concessions and the reason it is only 4 stars.

Quite an experience! Theater ( #1 ) Had spacious, comfy, reclining seats. Excellent picture and sound quality it was like a home away from home movie experience! Well worth the price of admission. Of course as with any theater watch those concessions! The prices of popcorn and candies are through the roof! Helpful staff, plenty of bathrooms ( always a plus )and my go-to theater!
