I went here on a Saturday night to see a 9:30 show. There was no line to buy tickets and a very short line for concessions. The seats were comfortable. The sound and movie projection were flawless. The theater including the bathroom was clean.

Not crowded through the week, building is always well maintained, staff is always great, and the prices are lower than most theaters. This theater may be farther away, but it's the one I go to most often.

place sucks, evey time i go i feel like my ears are bleeding, a couple weeks ago when i went to see LOGAN i wanted to blow my brains out evey time a car would crash, they turn it up way to loud, and ill be the first to say it, LOGAN was not a good movie at all, think about xmen origins: wolverine but a much more old, grumpier wolverine, just not a good movie, and they thought since they rated deadpool R that they should rate LOGAN R, lol no, but about the theater, the popcorn is ALWAYS stale, when i put butter on it i feel like i'm socking myself in a bath of EXTRA virgin olive oil, my lord it gets everywhere, and its SOOOO fattening, you can not walk out feeling good about yourself after eating that, real talk if i could put 0 stars on it i would its just not a good experience, the managers are kinda jerks, except a British guy, poor guy, like how did he end up being a manager at a movie theater in elkins wv you know? the only reason i go is because its the only theater in the nearest 100 miles swear to god, it sucks.

ON Nov 22nd, myself, my son and a friend went to see "catching fire". Everything was great until toward the end when my son lost his cell phone and a $20 bill on the floor. using a small light to look for the items 2 young girls in front of us started saying things to us. telling us to be quiet and shut up. I told them to just chill out that we lost something and was looking for it. they just became more aggressive toward us causing a scene. they then reported to the manager that it was us causeing a disturbance. we was met coming out by 2 staff members one of which ask me if id like to step outside. I declined only to keep from going to jail of course. the more I tried to explain the situation the more the manager became aggressive to us. a crowd had gathered and we felt very embarrassed by this. all the girls wanted was to start all the drama they could and thought it was funny. we was threatened to be banned from the bldg. just for searching for our items. it seems to be imposible to get ahold of anyone to make a complaint of the treatment we received. it wouldn't have been so bad the girls being upset during the movie but it had already ended and credits were rolling. as for the one that wanted to go outside with me i'd love that off private property! the only one he scared was his self! the true problem with the elkins cenima 8 is that they have no COMPITITION and people have no choice. I do admit the facility is clean and comfortable but whats the point when the staff can do as they please and side with who ever they want without knowing the whole and true story?

It's really great that we have such a terrific theater here in Elkins. We get most of the movies in the first 2 weeks they are out. They have bargain night on Tuesdays, a discount for seniors and students and clean facilitates. My only complaint is with the snack bar. I am happy they offer caffeine free diet coke but because it comes in bottles I can't use my numerous accumulated rewards to buy one. My rewards card currently has one large drink/popcorn combo and 5 or 6 medium fountain drinks but I can't use them for caffeine free diet coke. "Rules prohibit it". It would be nice if the rewards program were more flexible. Maybe accumulate points and offer all snacks free for a designated number of points. Other than that, I recommend this business and go to the movies several times a month.

Went on a Tuesday evening which was a discount night paid $5 for each ticket which is the same price as a matinee. Theatre was nice and clean. Snack bar had a good assortment of snacks and drinks. Reasonably priced. There are several different sizes of screens with the biggest one showing the most recently released or most popular movie.

Elkins cinema is so much better than the local one, here in Buckhannon. It's larger, is taken well care of and gets different movies than Buckhannon. Love it!

They were nice I thought it was a little pricey I had two adults and 2 children 1 4yr old one 10 year old on a Sunday before 3 an still was charged $6 a person. At tygart valley cinema the matinee is $4 kids 4 an under free so the prices are better! The food was good but also a little more expensive then other places !
