We had our choice of a number of movies, the facility was very clean, and the theater was very comfortable. We went on a weekday, and there were only a few other people in the theater with us. I'm sure we'll be going back and watching other movies there in the near future.

Always room in the good seat section! Clean place and friendly staff. Prices are good. The movie stopped two different times (weird) and someone had to go and tell an employee to get it started again. The first time they gave us complimentary tickets, but this last time they didn't.

Nice theatre overall. Condiments over priced but I think that's every cinema. Buy candy before and carry in your purse or fanny pack. They always understaffed and employ mostly teenagers anyway so doubtful anyone will care. Chairs are comfy and screens are digital.

We love coming here for the movies. It's never crowded and they have the arcade that the kids love. We always buy our tickets online and it's so easy to redeem them at the snack bar.

We saw the movie, "The Art of Racing in the Rain." Great movie. You need to go see it. This theater is quite fun. I went to $5 Tuesday, because I'm cheap. It wasn't busy at all and very comfortable. It has a good size for the screen and the sound was perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Clean and with relatively cheap movie tickets. They gouge you on candy popcorn and soda though and if you want a refill be prepared to buy a whole new cup. They try to quote health codes and the fact they charge for the cup and not the soda as an excuse to make you buy a whole drink again. Other than that the customer service and on par and the theater seats are well maintained

Went to go watch Ralph Wrecks the internet and the power goes out during the movie they took way to long to get it back on. So when I asked if I can get my money back or a coupon for tickets. They told me no. So we left disappointed. We didnt even get to finish the movie.

Food and service was absolutely horrible. No popcorn available, except for an old bag laying inside the machine.... What kind of theatre doesn't have popcorn freshly available?! Girlfriend ordered nachos instead, she received a dish of nacho cheese dip and a bag of tostitos. That was it! Upon leaving theatre a bunch of kids(employees) were chasing each other with garbage cans and swearing at each other. Will never return! The only reason I give it 2 stars is the movie screen was actually better looking than century Olympia theatre at capital mall. Hope your experience is better!

Very disappointed today. Just left the theater. My daughter and I drove into Chehalis (25 minute drive) soon as the movie started it began skipping and didn't stop. The General Manager said they have had issues all day and were working on them and offered a couple tickets to come back at another time. Ok things happen I understand no biggie, but I asked if we could get complimentary popcorn or a soda when we came back he said no. To me he should of threw in a soda and or popcorn for our troubles. We were there a half hour not counting the hour round trip .

Customer service experience at Midway Cinema was above average. In theater 1 the seats were comfy and clean, spacious so didn't feel cramped together with others. The only downside was an odd odor.

Its ok for an older non regal cinema. Screens are a lot smaller, sound quality is ok, every once in a while there is issues with freezing or blank screen, would have to walk out and tell someone. But ticket prices are 3 to 4$ cheaper..pay for what you get

I was floored at how nice this place was, go before 5pm on a weekday and the prices are great. They've got plenty of food (the prices aren't so great) The seats aren't the huge recliners you get in other locations, but they are comfortable. The staff was helpful and everything was clean.

Boo, they've really dropped the ball the last few times. They KNOW that the web is displaying the wrong showtime (but don't care?) and sold me tickets to a show that was half over without saying a word. We watched 10 minutes of it before we realized, boo. And several other times the playback was all out of since or blurry and it took them forever to fix it, and again boo. Better to go to Yelm and sit in recliner seats!!!

I'm going to start this with… I think someone who is not being honest or works for the Midway Theater Company is placing the good ratings for this place. Because I went there with my husband last night to watch Ready Player One, and the smell of stagnant air and body odor in theater 9 was enough to make me gag. We were the 1st to arrive for the 5:50pm show, and I was hopping the smell of popcorn other viewers brought in would cancel out the smell. Unfortunately there were a grand total of 8 people watching including my husband and myself, which led the audience to believe the staff had forgotten about us when right after the trailers but before the movies started…the screen froze audio included. We sat and waited for 7min. before one of us got up to tell an employee. Between the smell and the chairs (which have zero upholstery to the arms left and are NOT comfy) we almost left. Was the movie worth the price and “atmosphere”? I think next time there’s a movie coming out I want to see I’ll wait until the Olympic Club gets it to see it.

I go here for the location. I think the service here could definitely use a bit of encouragement. They don't seem to want to go above and beyond. You will definitely get a great quality movie. You might get decent popcorn... but don't expect fresh popcorn in the 9pm and later showings. You will not get a welcoming environment. For $9.50 per adult and $8 per kid I'd expect better quality.

They should get a 5 star, but they do not have a dedicated ticket window. So while you just want to buy a ticket and sit down, you have to wait in line while people decide on their food choices. The staff is friend and the facility is clean.

This theater is in a small town so it's best attribute is that you can almost ALWAYS choose your seating. The food is WAY, WAY overpriced which is made even worse because of the lack of quality after you lay out almost TEN BUCKS for a POPCORN! The picture and sound quality are good and the counter and ticket service from workers there is great. Unfortunately the seating seems (to me) to force you upright and almost forward which sucks for two hours.

Not too busy for a 5:35 movie. Ticket taker is blind with a beautiful and kind see and eye dog. Movie was Great as expected. Next door arcade, the kids were just as excited to play earning points for toys and made the best memories with our grandchildren.

I love small-town cinemas that do a really good job. I saw Toy Story 4 in 3-D at the Midway Cinema and every aspect of the experience was excellent. Customer service, quality of snacks, state of the theater, and excellence of presentation. A wonderful experience that I will take advantage of again the next time I’m in town!

Good projection and sound systems, a bit stuck in the 1980s vibe, exorbitant snack prices, no discount values such as tightwad Tuesday like their many competitors do offer. I found this movie theater to be relatively clean and a bit fun, cheeky and clearly geared toward a youthful audience given that they have an arcade and birthday party center in the lobby. With ample parking and easy access, the movie theater you stationed on one side of an old 1970s Mall they just now defunct but very well taken care of in spite of it being old, charming actually. Movie prices we're around the $8 to $9 per ticket price, and they offered no discounts except about a dollar or so off before 5pm as I recall. many of their competitors if not all of them, offer discounts such as bargain night, tightwad Tuesday $5 movies and so on. this company not offering any type of discount is really a shame and it shows that they do not value their customers who are primarily families and college students that take advantage of those nights as well as senior discounts that should be found at all times. The seating gave ample room for your knees and the seats were not necessarily reclining but they rock slightly forward and back. No matter where you sit on the seat it seems to want to tip you forward. Kudos to them for having good quality, bright film projection systems as well as quality sound systems, rounding out your movie experience. I found the place to be very clean and tidy and all of the seats to be in good condition, no major squeaks or bolts popping up out of the floor when you sit down in your chair. There arcade was well-organized where you can have a party, a nice touch for a group of friends and family. they do have self serve kiosks in the lobby which is a nice modern touch so you can purchase your ticket ahead of time should the lines get long, you can bypass the line and simply present your ticket at a later time. I found the prices for their concessions to be truthfully, quite outrageous and though you expect that to some degree this place reallyshould be giving themselves an award for the most ridiculously priced hot dog on planet earth. That aside, they keep all of their lights working, their restrooms clean coming their trash cans emptied and their floors are swept where you're not walking through popcorn and trailing it everywhere. I went to the movies twice while there in the town and each time there was only two other people in the entire building with me. It was slow.

Theater itself wasn't bad, but the bathrooms we're horrible! Half the urinals we're covered in trash bags and out of order, there was water and other fluids all over the floor. It looked like it habldnt been cleaned in week or more. And this was an early showing in the middle of the week so it's not like it was busy. Only one poor girl behind the counter right when multiple movies were about to start. If there was any competition for theaters in Lewis county this place would probably be out of business within a year.

Normally a good place to go, but just watched star wars and audio was terrible! Not sure if it was the theater speakers or the system couldn't handle the movie, but result was rotten. Also the movie started at 11:30 and they didn't open doors until 11:20. Took about 30 minutes to buy tickets and get seated. Movie had already started when we finally sat down.

*At least at the Olympic Club the movies are $4 adults and $2 kids, and you can order good food, also Wednesday beer, movie and burgers $13. I do like movies but they are getting real expensive. So the food should make up for that fact and yet I believe Carnival food is better than what you get at the this theater. And I don't mean the boat Carnival I mean the fairgrounds.

Went to Jurassic park 88. Movie was fine. Theater was clean. The last two times I went there they gave back dimes and nickels. I pointed out the dollars in the register he said they were for someone else. It didn't occur to him to ask management for more dollars and quarters

Like any movie theater, the snacks are ridiculously expensive, but the sound system is great, the chairs are spacious and comfortable and the staff is courteous. They have a pretty good rewards program, as well
