Watched Joker on opening day. There was a police officer in the lobby and lots of staff. I felt very safe walking into the movie. Being a stubs member, I actually ended up having enough points for a free large pop corn and drink! Wow, didn't think I can actually do that to be honest. Other than that, my viewing pleasure was satisfied greatly. This is my favorite movie theater in WA.

It's a nice neighborhood theater with reclining seats. One point should definitely be made though. I don't hear very well and, when we were there, our reserved seats were towards the back and their speakers are only in the front and weren't that loud besides. So I missed a considerable amount of dialogue.

This is the first AMC theatre I've visited in a long time. There is a large and convenient parking lot. From the outside it doesn't look like much, and inside looks like a fairly typical modern chain theatre. It had unmanned kiosks for people to buy tickets. But we had movie passes and the kiosks didn't seem to be able to deal with them, so we had to find a human being. (We actually preferred talking to a person.) If you think the movie will start within 10 or 15 minutes and calculate the length of the film to estimate how long it's going to take, forget that. We were subjected to more than a half hour of previews, which seemed overkill, but maybe the regulars know that it and compensate by arriving late? The popcorn was good but overpriced (as all popcorn everywhere seems overpriced). The best part was the seats. This theatre has "assigned seating," which is nice. We didn't realize the theatre would have fewer than 30 people, so chose an aisle seat. Totally not necessary, as throughout the theatre, the space in front of the seats is wide enough to be comfortable for both the seated person and the person walking past. The seats were roomy and comfortable and adjusted to several positions like a recliner. Wide comfortable armrests were unique to each seat as well an ample cup holder. Maybe this is what all theatres are like now and we don't get out much but it was unique to us, and we'd go back anytime.

I went last week to see the new Eastwood golf. I hadn’t been there in several years. I was pleasantly surprised with a newly remodeled facility with filly reclining leather chairs in all of the theater rooms, new concession stands and clean remodeled bathrooms. It was like a Gold Coast Theater without the alcoholic beverages. I really loved it.

We've been here twice now and each time it wasn't great. Last time they had a bunch of kids in the theater that weren't supposed to be there (they crashed the movie) and I went to management and they said they'd come take care of it and never did. I had to deal with it myself. They were quite loud and ruining the movie experience so I had to ask them to be quiet or leave the theater, but I shouldn't have had to deal with it myself. This time they sold our reserved seat to someone else and didn't want to make it right. They finally said they would talk to the person when they checked in, but they didn't, so it was put on me to handle it. Fortunately, the other people were very kind and understanding and were happy to sit elsewear. Our handicapped seats were very uncomfortable the entire movie. We couldn't figure out what was wrong and when we left we looked at the seats closely to see that they were positioned wrong. Very frustrating both times we have been here and all because management refuses to take care of things. Not too sure it's worth going a third time.

Was hesitant to go at first but was surprised to see it's completely remodeled. Big, plush, lazy boy style recliners which are very roomy. Snacks are spendy but that's any theater. When my boyfriend and I go we go on a Tuesday since tickets are 5 bucks, which is great!

This is a great place to see a movie. It has been fully remodeled with recliners and the concession has four Coke freestyle machines so you can get any beverage you would like. The ticketing booth has been remodeled to be automated kiosks. My suggestion is to buy your tickets online to avoid hassle at the door. Overall it's a great experience.

This is very conveniently located with easy access. All auditoriums here have great recliner seats n great leg room. Very reasonably priced tickets. We love 5$ Tuesdays. Kids love this movie theater. Definitely recommend if you live around Factoria.

Comfy seats and like the reserved seating. I bought tickets through Fandango and that made getting in faster. I am not (yet) an AMC member, so it took a little while to get popcorn since the members go through a VIP line faster. I would definitely go back and would recommend this theater.

Comfy chairs are about the only good thing about the renovation this place did. We showed up 20 minutes early for a 2:30 Sunday movie and could only sit in the very front row, yet the cinema was only about 2/3 full. Nice reservation system there. And in the lobby you now have to get your ticket taken *before* getting in the line for highway-robbery-priced food, so the space between ticketing and that point is a clusterf***. Goodbye to a once-pleasant movie spot.

This place was great. We had fun seeing our movie and exploring other theatres while we waited for our theater to be cleaned. The staff was nice. The food was great! The seats were awesome. I read about this point program they had. If I lived near by I would totally take advantage of that. I would go there every weekend. It doesn't look too fancy from the outside, but head on in and you will not be dissatisfied. I hope to go back there in the summer time or something. My wife and I really had a lot of fun. After our movie we walked across the street for a coffee. It was so convenient.

Nice theatre. I was at screen 3 and the seats are reclinable, but not truly theatre seating, I could still the dudes head in front of me covering the screen as opposed to other theatres where I cant see the back of heads in front of me. Also it was hot, I went in May, I was sweating.

Absolutely fantastic theater. Been coming since before the remodel. The upgrades they've given it has made it the best in town for sure. Come all the way from Renton highlands to watch flicks here. Regal at the landing is no comparison.

OK... so I'm a big nerd and go to the movies once every 2 years.... and I gotta say that I was impressed at how AMC has taken the irritability out of the pre-movie experience: •Automated ticketing = no/small lines •Seat selection prior to entering the theater •Easy to find seats, even in the dark And added comfort: reclining seats - with ample room (it's roomier than business class. Airlines, take note) With all these upgrades... where are the humans? Where are teens going to get their first jobs? Well, I guess they'll be brilliant enough to build the robots that will take over concessions...

This is my go to theater! They have recliner seats that can be reservable ahead of time or even at purchase to ensure your seat. You can either work with a staff member to purchase your ticket or use an automated machine for quicker check-out. They also have plenty of parking.

AMC Factoria 8 is no longer the joke of all theaters in the Seattle area. It used to be so rundown and old. Especially as other theaters started to get leather, reclining seats, this one just felt like the forgotten middle child of the theaters. However, it has gone through puberty and has turned into a beautiful theater just like its siblings! There are now leather, reclining seats that make it easy to doze off while watching the movie, and the seats are much more spacious and comfortable, so you aren't forced into fighting for that arm rest if you don't want to. With these improvements obviously come price increases. The tickets here used to be cheaper, maybe $8 or $10. But now they're $11+ for prime time movies. If you come in during the middle of the day, you'll obviously get some good deals, still! Also, there is now assigned seating. This is cool because you aren't forced to get there early and sit through all the commercials just to guarantee good seats, but you do have to act quickly in buying your tickets -- which can now be done online. Boom

Old theatre and not not much to look at as far as the outside and decor on the inside, but the theatres are great!!! Great sound, extremely comfortable seating with leather recliners with tons of space. It can be a pro or con to have assigned seats. Seats are well marked and easy to find. We love that the drinks are self serve!!! You don't have to wait in line to tell them what you want and free refills on soda and icees!

The theater is nice and clean. Squishy recliners but they are a little narrow so for guests with a little more in the trunk, the buttons on the arms side can be triggered very easily. You end up changing the setting unexpectedly.

Four stars because we were on the very end of row B and my view of the screen was skewed from that angle. Otherwise would be a 5. It was a madhouse at the snack counter and one young man in particular was very fast and efficient and seemed to be 2 or 3 time faster than his workmates. The popcorn was perfect.

Went to concession stand and walked up to teller. The teller walks off and does other stuff ignoring me. The other teller then lets another customer cut in front of me. After spending $20+ on food this is inexcusably bad customer service. I know why Netflix is putting movie theaters out of business - makes me want to keep watching movies at home.

The environment of this place is really good. We loved their reclining seats. The prices of soda and popcorns are too high as expected. But the movie experience is great. They also offered us the movie credit of the particular day towards AMC a-list membership. If you are a regular movie goer it might be something to consider. There are plenty of places to eat close to this theater.

I love the fact that you sit it recliners instead of a regular chair. The soda machines are great because you can choose any drink that you like. There is a lot of choices of movies to choose from. Although the food and drinks are expensive and I have to sneak food into the movies instead of buying expensive food. Overall four stars.

I love this movie theater as it is not a large multi Plex that is just overly sized. Customer service here is excellent. Very friendly staff excellent food Coke machines will dispense pretty much anything you want in diet or regular. I have to say the chairs in the sea and the seating is amazing I love recliners even though it is the old model. Over all I have to say this as my favorite theater in Washington State. And I've been to a lot of them across the state.

Good. Friendly staff. I love the remodel. It did it some good. I'm glad the installed the automated ticket windows. Quicker when there's a line of customers. Out of my own free will I resigned and apparently I am not eligible for rehigher even though I was a good employee. I wouldn't say outstanding but good enough for them to have kept me 5+ years. Peon grunt position. Before managers changed they asked me to come back but I was already employed else where. I came back during the recession and I was not eligible for rehigher. Wow?! I'm surprised because my skills are widely desired by many companies. I left in 2006.
