A cozy and intimate venue for any kind of show. Every seat is a good one! visited recently for a Celtic holiday concert and the acoustics were extraordinary!

An amazing gem of a theater in Woodstock. Brand new digital projector with 7.1 surround sound and the biggest screen in the Upper Valley make a trip to this theater a treat ( not to mention the maple butter popcorn!).

Attended a taping of one of our favorite NPR shows: "Says You" at the theater. Lovely venue that needs s little TLC. It is a gem in a community of gems.

Great theater. Good sound, digital projection in a grand old theater. Very inexpensive compared to chain theaters. Popcorn is always freshly made, and comes plain, buttered, or maple buttered.

Love the old feel of this movie theater. Great slope to the seats so no one is ever blocking you and fabulous maple butter popcorn. Real Butter!

Our small Vermont town of Woodstock has a lot going on culturally. At its hub is Pentangle Arts, located in the historic Town Hall Theatre right in the center of town. Our family loves Pentangle Arts and enjoys the full range of events and activities produced by by them. The theatre itself is a wonderful–not bad seat in the house. Events, activities and happenings put on by Pentangle are top-notch, many of which are community focused. The Pentangle yearly schedule is jam-packed with Local events, arts in education, first-run movies, theater, musicals, concerts, film festivals, dance, as well as simulcast events from around the world and off-site concerts and events.

It is truly a local gem to be cherished! Seeing a movie here is a special treat both in terms of the selection of films offered and the classic cinema experience. Would recommend it especially if you live nearby or if in passing during a weekend.
