The added variety of seating is very comfortable and relaxing. The popcorn and drinks appear fresh and not outrageously priced. Some rows have table for carry in food. . Nice. My only complaint was they were stingy with the air conditioning. It was eventually corrected, but I was sweating it out through the first two thirds of Solo.

I've never met a counter guy (yes I've been many times, always same man) so uninterested in the success of the business (remember he works there all the time) he's very good at banging the popcorn buckets down to make room, so good we can hear him in the back 6 rows. Despite their Stealing my Photo without permission or credit, and my trying to contact the owner every time I go they don't care, because counter guy would rather be any where else. Pretty sure his income Is made there but not via his salary . Super nice woman (projectionist?) Don't sit on the beige seats, I broke my back. No way disabled can get through doors of toilet and it was flooded when I went last. Good parking popcorn and maybe connections.

The Studio Cinema in Belmont is a one screen movie house, and is in some ways a neighborhood secret. The ticket price is reasonable and they show newly released movies. They recently installed new seats that are more like very long couches and many have a hidden tray tables for your food. Other seats have an actual table. The cinema does sell typical movie snacks, and they allow outside food to be brought into the cinema. Tuesday is two-for-one date night.

Our favorite little place to see movies, though it’s CASH only so remember to hit the ATM. (There are couple down the block.) We often get fancy drinks and snacks across the street, which they do generously let us bring in. We love that we can have a can of wine or kombucha and a ridiculous chocolate bar while enjoy a movie on the couch. It’s the at home movie experience kicked up a notch. We generally walk from home, but there is street parking!

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it here. This is the epitome of a perfect, authentic family experience. The popcorn was great the movie quality was perfect and the crowd was respectful and really nice. Great experience for a family.

Great seating, intimate setting. One screen only, cash or check payment only! Popcorn and soda tasted great, not burnt or poorly mixed. You can bring food in to eat while enjoying your movie. I'll be watching Blade Runner here come October. My wife and I had a great time.

Very nice neighborhood theater. Worn out seats have been completely replaced by living room-like padded seating unusual for a theater. Sound is very good. Two rows, I think, provide tables for people who bring their own food. I wish Spoodles wasn't closed for the summer, their carry-out food is good and convenient for the theater. But there are three pizza and sandwich shops on the same block.

I still love this place. It's not the best inside but I love that it's a small independently-owned movie theater and try to support it as much as I can. The screen and the sound is very good and now they have newer seats that are pretty comfortable. But I would still come with the old crappy seats. Go little guy!

Cheap, Easy, Convenient, Low-Key and relaxing. I was short a dollar once and the owner said just pay me later. I of course came back again another day and paid over price for some snack to make up for the gratuity. I always enjoy seeing movies here, it has couches and the sound/screen are perfect and there's not a bad seat in the house. Couches/chairs also have plugs/outlets for charging your phones. Love this place.

The seats in the pic are old: They have modern comfy benches, loveseats and singles. Hard to describe but the theater has a great intimate feel despite being quite big. They truly care about films here too. The owner let me watch before even paying, since they dont take cards (the only caveat). Places like this are going away day by day which is a shame. Definitely patronize this theater!

The lobby is not impressive, but the theater is up to date and has couches and even tables that you can put your food down on. There is not a bad seat, even if you are in the front row. Really nice!

We try to go to this cinema often as we want to keep it open and running. They were closed for a time and did some renovations. One screen, family run, very reasonable ticket and concession prices. Plenty of street parking.

We showed up for a 2:30 Ant-Man and the Wasp showing on 7/12, but there was no one there! All the screens were still on showing the movie & time we wanted, but the doors were locked. We knocked & waited for ten minutes but no one showed up. There were no signs on the door indicating that the cinema was closed or when someone would return. Very disappointed!

After reading five star reviews about this place with some questionable text, I was nervous about trying it out. But they were five stars so I went for it. a nice theater. It has be a fabric on the walls to help soften the sound, great sound balance. It has a large seating area with a sloped floor. The screen is on the small side given how large the seating area is, but I just sat in the third row and it filled my field of view. No more burritos next door looks like a soup place - with hours your expect for Belmont.
